Glenda Chittock (1964 - Unknown)

Glenda sat in the Slytherin common room, trying desperately to forget about her upcoming exams. In her final year of Hogwarts, she was well aware of the importance of the next few days. Still, she preferred not to think about it.

"What will you do when you graduate?"

Apparently the young Lucinda Talkalot had not gotten the message. Instead, she dropped onto the couch next to her older housemate and happily began to quiz her on her future, seemingly unaware of Glenda's growing frustration.

"You've been the best Quidditch commentator Hogwarts has ever seen," Lucinda mused. "You could do that professionally, couldn't you?"

"That's very kind of you," Glenda responded, the unexpected compliment warming her cheeks. "I'm not sure there are many upcoming openings for that though."

"But you could do something similar," Lucinda insisted, folding her legs underneath her. She peered at Glenda with a surprising intensity. "Maybe something on the radio? You could interview celebrities! Imagine! Glenda Chittock interviews Joscelind Wadcock! Or even Celestina Warbeck! Wouldn't that be amazing?"

Glenda laughed, tossing her dark curls over her shoulder. "Are you sure you aren't thinking of your dream job, Lucinda?"

"Me?" Lucinda looked shocked. "Absolutely not. I don't have the wit or charm for radio. You, on the other hand..."

The very thought made Glenda pause. Of all the things she'd considered, radio had not been one of them. She'd always assumed she'd fall in line behind her family, finding some paper to push at the Ministry and finding joy in other aspects of her life.

"Well, if the opportunity arose..."

"I hope it does." Lucinda grinned, tipping her head back. She echoed her earlier sentiments with a breathy sigh. "Glenda Chittock on the Wizarding Wireless Network. I think it sounds incredible."

Glenda, although less vocal about it, found that she was in complete agreement. And with a new dream (which wouldn't require outstanding exam results!) firmly in sights, all of Glenda's worries about her future began to fade away.
