Amica and I took the falcon in while the Freedom group flew off to patrol the greater area. We split forces before approaching Daiyu airspace to better conceal ourselves. We arrived found our landing pad and disembarked.

I stayed in my new robes and kept my sword on. My hood remained raised. My goal was to still hide in plain sight as a Jedi wherever possible.

We walked among the countless beings from all worlds that came through here. It was indeed crowded and criminal as before. Underworld Coruscant still beat it but it wasn't far behind it either.

"Boss…" I turned and faced her. She had stopped. "What is it?" "The senate is voting on the Jedi bill now…" already? That was indeed fast… Marna wasn't kidding about getting it through.

She'd looked away as she scanned over the real time holo net data. She then looked at me when done. "It's official as of now Anakin. The Gray Jedi order are now the new permanent peacekeepers of the galactic republic. Congratulations; Lord Jedi."

I laughed out loud a little. I couldn't help it. I was now officially Lord of all Jedi. Both in Republic and Force terms. I walked over to a nearby pillar and leaned against it. Some tears came to my eyes.

"Anakin. Are you all right?" I nodded. "I am Amica. It's just after everything… Vader… This is one more step completed on the path of redemption…" the gray way was the only way now.

"You've atoned well Anakin in my opinion. I'm just a droid but even I can see that. The galaxy can and will continue to benefit from your messianic leadership in the days ahead."

I breathed then stepped away from the pillar refocused. We had already been official by chancellery decree; but now it was official and historic in every way. I was now the top peacekeeper for the republic. I would honor it well.

That made this security mission even more important. It conveyed a new sense of seriousness to everything that was going on. I had to stop these reds by any means needed. And I would.

"Boss. There are some bars near here that would make good places to start to pursue our next leads."

I nodded and she led us to the first one. This was where the intel trail would get gray. It had brought us this far. But we'd need to do the rest to piece things together.

We entered the first dive. It was rather crowded like the outside was. Amica and I still blended in well enough. We got a table and I ordered a local brew. Between my Force scans and those of Amica we could tell many of these people were shady. I wasn't here to judge although as savior I could. I was here to serve and protect however possible.

"Spice is the big underworld trade here," said Amica. I nodded. "And it is likely the socialists are using the spice trade to beef up their ops as well," She added. "The decrypted commie intel also indicated extensive money laundering networks to build up red ops to do the most damage possible to galactic institutions like the republic. Hitting these money networks would be a great way to further cripple their operations." "Hit 'em in their wallets." "Yes boss."

Downsizing the Republic had also forced the corrupt out into the open. My Jedi would be handling this as well along with Marna's office. They had evaded justice for too long but wouldn't anymore. The Force had spoken; and now the galaxy would see the results.

We were winning battles. And that was good. But the war was eternal. The dark side would always be there. Light and dark would always be there. There would always be a be a new threat to deal with. Sidious had been a top demon; but the dark side itself was the true devil in all things though. You couldn't destroy the dark side; only keep it at bay until the next time. And there would always be a next time. Balance was the best that could ever be hoped for. My job was literally endless. I had the best job security of anyone.

Only the Force and its incarnate son were forever.

Mortals couldn't truly grasp this; but it didn't matter. They didn't need to. That's what they had my Jedi for. We couldn't fix everything or right away but the galaxy would feel the changes soon enough. And they would be good changes.

We observed spice deals going down in the bar. The dealers were linked to the bar owners too.

"Do you sense any socialist ties here?" I shook my head a little. That didn't mean anything though. There was always something there though. Darkness could hide anything until the light exposed it. Only then could imbalances be balanced.

I could act anytime on any of the many crimes taking place right here if I so chose. And it being non Republic space didn't matter either. And our new gray approved mandate gave us full ability to torture and interrogate as needed to get all results needed to save lives. We had a lot of power now; but that power was only applicable when justified. So long as a Jedi action was justified we could now do anything. That scared many and understandably so. That was why quigon and I were both running things. We were both immortal and could keep that power in balance from being abused by the Jedi under us. And the Jedi that had stayed were true believers in the light. But they also understood that the ends justified the means. The rest would take care of itself.

"We'll be patient and observe things for now." Amica nodded and we kept watch over things.

I had a feeling my job would keep me away from the Republic a lot. Wandering warrior. Again, that's why quigon and Ruach were back there. My precautions had worked; and would continue to do so. I focused on the job here and what had to be done next to win.
