Can you believe it? The kingdom of Hyrule is in peril (again) and so the fabled light spirits of Hyrule have revealed to me that I am the only one who can redeem this land. Me, of all people. They could've picked anybody, anyone else, but no. It had to be me. And get this: they say I have absolutely no choice in the matter. Perfect. Anyway, my name is Link, and this is my story.

Link stared at the waves, his arms fastened around the King of Red Lion's mast. The ocean overwhelmed him, however, he had to do this; it was his destiny. Link stared at the tall trees and impossibly thick woods, eyes wide in surprise and astonishment, calloused hands tightened around Epona's reigns. He was eleven years old, but, this enormous stretch of land, frightened him.

She looked up at the Great Plateau towering above, and back to the boy on the ground. No one could have survived that fall, but she could tell from his groan he had. "Are you okay?" She called. She approached him but kept a hand on her knife. The figure remained still for a moment before he coughed, raised a hand, and formed a wobbling thumbs up. (OC not shipped w/Link)

This is a short and simple one-shot about some of Link's thoughts as he left Ordon. Hope you enjoy it! This is my first fanfiction in a long time.

For as long as the divine trinity have been in endless war with one another, the Shadow Folk have been present. The noble line stays true to their original purpose, ever in Hylia's service even as they fade away into obscurity. And in the final hour, they emerge for their princess and country. Now, if Hylia's chosen could stay on course and stop constantly almost dying...

A new villain has fallen onto the land of Hyrule and it's neighboring kingdom of Arcadia. Only one sword can defeat it: the Light Sword. Created in the days before Hylia rose her people to the sky will Link and Zelda be able to find it before it's too late?

Arc 1: Zelda, Ganondorf, and Link had grown up together. Of course not everything could be so peaceful forever. When his Triforce manifests, Ganondorf is forced to flee or face execution. Zelda and Link join him and together the three struggle to find a way to remain friends and put Demise's Curse to sleep.

The story of what I think botw 2 will be about. (Will be a little violent and dark no swearing.)

In a far corner of the world a nation blessed by at least eleven years of peace and prosperity is about to be woken up; the cogs of time are turning for the first time in three generations. Following a bloody and desperate civil war the softened and unwary people of Hyrule are about to be pulled from their comfort. Only a tiny Kokiri and his new guardian fairy stand between it.

For some reason, the Hero has been dying. Across every variation of time, the Hero has been defeated before slaying Ganon. So what does Hylia do? Call in a replacement, of course!

Though Mipha had been taught the importance of duty, she still struggled to understand why her older brother had to leave. And how was she supposed to understand why he never came back?

How can he miss someone he doesn't know how to remember? How can he ache so much for a soul so distant to him? He doesn't know how to miss her – how to love her – and yet still, he does. Sometimes, it takes falling apart before things can fall back together. An afterthought to Umbra.

Sidon and Link meet each other for the first time after Link woke up. As Link goes through his adventure the two become friends. Both also develop feelings for each other. Will they confess or are they note destined to be?

When Princess Zelda finds an injured boy in the woods outside Hyrule Castletown, she is surprised to discover that he is mute. The threat of invaders looms over the kingdom, and yet Zelda is concerned with one thing above all else: Will she ever hear the voice of her chosen knight?

"This will be a tale you humans will pass down through uncounted generations..." Link, a seventeen-year-old member of the Knight Academy of Skyloft begins his legendary destiny to save his dearest friend and childhood companion Zelda from an unknown power on the same day when he must complete his Wing Ceremony. Post-Calamity, Zelda figures out what it means to be alive in a world that is both achingly familiar and terrifyingly foreign. Another puzzle in this new Hyrule: Link, part stranger, part beloved, still constantly, unfailingly at her side. [Post-BoTW, ZeLink, One shot.]

(Linked Universe AU) As the nine heroes chosen by Hylia continue their quest to find out what is responsible for their meeting and for the gates that have connected different eras of Hyrule's history, they come across a peculiar lone traveler. Calling himself The Historian in place of a proper name, he joins the nine on their quest to save Hyrule from the approaching darkness.

To be read a la Rouge's 'Why would you make him do that' from the Sonic '06 fandub. The Links have access to a wide variety of tools. It has been asked what would happen if you gave the wackiest of these tools to Wild. The answer? Many shenanigans. Though don't be fooled thinking they're all caused by Wild. This a parody of Joseph King of dreams, with Zelda characters, also keep in mind that the names I use in this story are just that names, the only names that matter are the main characters.

In another time, there was another goddess. Link is raised among the Gerudo since infancy alongside River, daughter of the Gerudo King. The Kingdom of Hyrule is corrupted by power induced greed and is about to face a calamity unlike anything seen in recorded history. Note: There is OoT influences here, but set in a new timeline.
