Soon after obtaining the Master Sword, Link runs into a Bokoblin stampede, which results in him "accidentally" transforming into a wolf and losing track of Midna. Being barely able to orient in the darkness of the night, he searches for a safe place to sleep on and eventually finds one, even though his hosts don't exactly have sleeping in their plans.
