After defeating Calamity Ganon, the hero and princess settle down at Link's home at Hateno village. But one day Link acts very distant and distressed. Unwilling to answer to Zelda whenever she asks. Is their newfound relationship about to end or is it just beginning?

'But,' the question hovers between them. But Link's a hero. He's strength and skill and hope neatly packaged in well-worn boots. Send him along with the army and part of the war is already won. And, as much as neither one of them wants to admit it, they both still remember how to fight. How to handle a blade. How to kill a man. Sheik sighs, 'but she needs us.'

Forgotten by time, and abandoned by those she called friends. Alaina is cast from heaven and now must protect Hylia's chosen hero until he fulfills his prophecy. But while protecting the humans one mistake decides her fate amongst them sending her down where memories of a time long since pass begin to surface.

Zelda is dead. Link never came back. All that remains is a small resistance, which needs to find the missing triforce pieces to save Hyrule from Cia and Ganondorf. Note: All characters are from Hyrule Warriors.

Modern AU. Link moves to a small town where he learns that he shares his name with an ancient legend that foretells of a vicious demon that kills every one hundred years. Time runs short as it appears this stories may be true... (Rated T for now, may change to M for themes and language).

Just after Ganon is sealed away, Zelda turns to see Link again after 100 years and finds the courage to ask him a question.

A well known hero and knight-in-training, Link had never needed any help in saving Hyrule. But when Princess Zelda and the Shrine Maidens decide to check on the seal placed on the legendary Four Sword, everything went wrong. With the princess being held captive by the Wind Mage Vaati, and a sadistic shadow out to destroy the kingdom, Link had no choice to but to draw the blade.
