The legend has passed on and Link doesn't know he's next as the new hero. Will he live on as a legend or fall to the new evil?

Ordon was no longer his home, it no longer felt right, so off to Hyrule, to take up Princess Zelda's offer of becoming apart of the Hylian Guards and protecting all the dangers to Hyrule, not knowing what he was truly in for, new feelings for a Princess.

His fate is to repeatedly kidnap the princess, and he's getting VERY tired of this little green twerp constantly messing with his plans. Not really set in any specific universe. Rated T because I might put some cursing in.

They'd expected the amiable goatherd that had left Ordon not long ago, the one who always had a sunny grin plastered on his face and nearly cried when a goat had to be killed. Instead, they'd gotten a young man with the scars of a soldier three times his age, some foreign warrior with sharp eyes and sharper weapons who hadn't so much as smiled once during the weeks he'd been there.
