Bea the Genie
Finishing his last gym battle, Morty congratulated the trainer that defeated him and went to pack his luggage. It was the first time in a while since the ghost-type trainer had some well needed vacation.
The last couple of months he received more challengers than he expected, meaning that he had to put behind his personal activates and work overtime. It was a tough job, but Morty knew that his reward was going to good. Apart from being a fan of ghosts and everything related to them, Morty was also fond on collecting antiques. In each trip he took, the ghost-type trainer would find a new item for his collection, ranging from books to old tools.
His latest interest was an old decorative bottle, a purple one with some dark blue gems. Morty tried looking for one around Johto, and even asked if his friends on Sinnoh would know where it could be. Surprisingly, the item he was looking for was in the last region he would have imagined: Galar.
While Galar was a region Morty expected to find other things like another book or even a weapon, the decorative bottle wasn't a thing he expected. Days before going into his trip, Morty made two calls: One with the store that had the bottle with them, so he could confirm that he was going to buy it, and one with Bea, a Galaraian gym leader that he met last year, when both of them were invited to an event and formed an unlikely friendship. The short haired gal was more than happy to help Morty, like him, she got more trainers than she expected and was happy to have a moment to see a friend.
After a long journey, the ghost-type trainer finally arrived at Stow-on-Side and was greeted by Bea. She wanted to show some things around town to her friend, but it was obvious that Morty was interested in one thing only: the bottle. Bea tossed the idea to first go to her house, so he could see that the package was there, and then the two could go around town, an idea which Morty quickly accepted.
Going to the other side of town, where the house of Bea was, both gym leaders went inside the house. "Stay here, I'll bring you the bottle." Bea said while Morty left his bag on the couch. The ghost-type trainer usually remained calm, but it was difficult at that moment, finally acquiring an item he was looking for years; he was happy and was trying to come up with a way of paying Bea for the help.
Coming back with a small box, Bea sat on the other side of the couch and proceeded to open it with a knife. Looking closer at the box, both gym leaders were blown away by its appearance; Morty was happy to see that it had all the details he expected to see, like the black gems that were with them. Bwa was expecting something that would look nice, but even she didn't expect the bottle to look so...pretty. The moment she saw it that close, it made her feel different, looking at it made her feel happy and even she started to think if she should get one for herself, an idea that would never cross the mind of Bea before.
"You think the bottle is pretty."
"Don't take your eyes away from it."
"Take the bottle cap off."
She felt conflicted after hearing voices, the only ones there were only her and Morty. While it was a weird moment, Bea felt relaxed, something she appreciated after a long week battling. Taking one last look at the bottle, she tried to come up with an explanation on what happened, but instead she decided to simply tell the truth. "Sorry for that, I kinda...spaced out for a moment," she said. Of course, Morty understood, being aware of the history of the bottle, where most of the time the description would say that it had some effects on certain kinds of people.
Bea handed the bottle to Morty, who started to say things related to how long it took him to find it and what kinds of stories were behind the creation of the bottle. One that caught the attention of the Galarian gym leader was the tale of a girl that became a genie after getting in contact with the bottle. It was a strange but interesting story, and Bea wanted to learn more about it.
The more Morty mentioned the bottle, the more Bea wanted to take the cap off. After her friend started another story related to a bottle, one that she didn't pay attention to after hearing that it was about a belly dancer and not the genie, Bea moved closer to the bottle. In her eyes, the cap started to shine, showing a dark blue and purple light that Morty didn't notice.
"This is what you want."
"Don't be afraid, you will love it."
"Take...the...bottle...cap... off...NOW!"
The last line resonated in her mind, it was a command, and she needed to obey. Bea got closer and took the cap of the bottle, surprising Morty. The ghost type trainer had the idea that she was so interested in the story that she wanted to see if something would happen, of course he didn't know what was really happening in the mind of Bea and thought she did it out of pure curiosity. "Oh no, there was no genie," he said, trying to make a joke out of the situation.
As soon as Bea started to gain some sense about what she just did, the lights of the room started to flicker. Morty wasn't surprised nor scared, being a ghost-type trainer, and also coming from a place where lots of spiritual events would happen, this was something he was used to seeing. The thing that actually took his attention was that he couldn't see or feel the presence of a ghost-type Pokemon, meaning that they were not dealing with a ghost.
Morty tried to find what was causing the lights to flicker, while Bea was still processing what happened. What the ghost-type leader didn't notice was that the bottle started to shine, changing from the dark purple to a light purple. When Morty noticed the change, he wanted to put the cap on, being aware that if he did that then the bottle would go back to its actual form, but he couldn't find it, making the bottle blind both gym leaders with a ray of light.
"What…what happened?" Bea said after waking up. Looking around, she herself in a replica of her living room, this time the difference being that everything around was purple. She also had issues remembering what happened, being the last thing she remembered that she was talking with her friend and that she took the cap of the decorative bottle off. Everything after that was blank, not having an idea about what really happened.
"Come closer."
Bea heard a familiar voice, one that she heard before but couldn't remember when. Looking around, an object in the purple room caught the attention of her eyes: the decorative bottle. Delighting her again with its beauty, Bea couldn't help herself but to smile after locking her eyes into the pretty bottle.
"The cap is on, come closer and take it off."
"I know you want it.
"Don't be scared and do it, a nice reward will be waiting for you once you do that."
It sounded like a good offer, one that she couldn't refuse. Going closer to the bottle and sitting on the couch, Bea did as told and took the bottle cap again, this time waiting for a nice thing to come out for her. Unlike the last time, where she and Morty were blinded by a light, the bottle simply changed colors again, going for the light purple.
The bottle delighted Bea with its beauty, as she stayed quiet, locking her eyes on the decorative bottle. How it changed colors, going from light purple to pink to blue to black, she loved every single color and hoped to see them. Of course, at that moment the fighting-type trainer was still on a middle point between what was happening now and wondering how she ended up there.
"Nothing else matters."
"All you care about is the nice looking decorative bottle and their pretty colors."
"Just relax, lose yourself in the pretty view and be happy."
Bea smiled, liking the ideas and loving the colors. It was unusual for the gym leader to smile or felt like that, usually being calm and serious, only showing her more open side to people that she considered close, but it was a completely different situation. She couldn't hide her emotions, she didn't want to, she felt really happy and liked what was happening to her.
While still not in the state of trance of not returning, Bea forgot about finding how she ended up there. That was a thing from the past, something that was unnecessary to remember and a pointless thing, the only thing that mattered was the present and her time with the bottle, which started to glow even more.
She didn't hear the voice, but the fighting-type gym leader felt that if she took her gaze off from the bottle it would be a big mistake. It felt better than anything she could imagine, things like a hot dinner after a long day or winning a gym battle against a strong trainer couldn't be compared with her time with the decorative bottle.
It quickly changed colors, going from purple to pink in a blink of an eye. The faster it went, Bea went deeper into the state of trance, feeling more happy each second she was looking at it. "Good girl," she heard that feminine voice again. In normal situations, Bea would snap at someone saying a thing like that, but being in that relaxation state "helped" her have a different perspective, one that she felt blind for not seeing it before. She was a good girl, she enjoyed it. For her now, following orders was a good thing and the one in charge was superior to her.
The bottle stopped glowing, but at that point Bea was so deep in the state of trance that she didn't react, she stayed there, her eyes were glazing and was with a big smile on her face. She had a good time, the best one of her life, and what she wasn't aware of was that there was another surprise.
The lights of the room changed, darkening the place. Then, the decorative bottle started to glow for one last time, showing the nice shade of pink that delighted Bea, who once again locked her eyes on the bottle. Instead of changing into another color, gray smoke came out from the decorative bottle.
Bea didn't react, instead she remained quiet and looked at the bottle, ignoring everything else around her. The smoke came closer to her, going directly for her legs and hips. While not as pleasurable as the pretty colors, the smoke made her feel good too. She couldn't help but giggle out of pleasure and excitement, it was an indescribable feeling but still wasn't up to par with the colors.
After some minutes, Bea couldn't feel her legs, it was like they felt…non-existent. Coming from the smoke, something stood out, as a gray tail came out of the smoke. Bea couldn't help but to smile, it was a nice shade of gray and it looked like something impressive to her. When the smoke dispersed itself, the gym leader was now with a genie tail.
While admiring her new tail, Bea was once again covered by the smoke, this time feeling changes around her torso. Giggling once again, the fighting-type trainer could see some changes around her clothes instead of her body. Looking at her new attire, she had a pink top instead of her shirt and also had silver cuffs in her hands.
"Good girl." Bea heard that phrase again. Like last time, she smiled, enjoying the sound of it and the sweet and feminine voice that talked to her. The gym leader's mind was blank, with the only idea being enjoying the changes. She loved her gray genie tale and liked her new outfit, which was more revealing compared to what she usually wears.
The bottle changed back to its normal dark purple color and pink colored smoke came from it. Bea closed her eyes and let the smoke involve her, not caring about what changes would happen to her or where the bottle would send her, she was going to enjoy and be pleased with anything.
When she woke up, there was something different, as Bea wasn't in the same trance state of before."Where…where am I…uh? What happened?!" She said out loud, surprised by seeing her tail and change of outfit. She was confused, but also angry, and wanted to know who did that to her. "If I had legs, I would kick the person responsible for this as hard as I could."
The fighting-type trainer tried looking around for the culprit, the one that turned her into a genie. Something that she was oblivious about was that she was inside the same decorative bottle that hypnotized her, like if that moment was erased from her memory. In her search, she could hear a laugh, one that sounded familiar, yet she couldn't remember where she heard it.
"Submit, Obey, you are a genie."
There it was that voice, a sweet and feminine one. Bea tried to find where this person was. "There are no places to hide. Show yourself!" She yelled. The one behind the voice didn't reveal itself, instead just kept repeating the phrase over and over, angrying Bea each time she heard it.
While trying to search for the one responsible, Bea could see the true meaning of those words. Each time those would be repeated, the mind of Bea would go into a deeper state of trance. She couldn't feel at first thanks to her being awake, but with time things started to change. Bea started to feel dazed after a couple of minutes, not taking a rest for wanting to catch the one who turned her into a genie.
After the voice started to repeat the phrase in a slow, and seductive tone, Bea felt more and more tired. She had a hard time moving, even a simple thing like having her eyes open was a tiring choir. "I…swear that…when I…find you…you will…be in…pain…" she said, struggling with each word.
When she used to train, Bea always went to the limit, but the whole thing wasn't like the normal training session. This wasn't any physical endurance exercise, it was very different and more difficult. She couldn't move anymore, her body craved for a break, a time for rest after the arduous work she did.
Running out of energy after a few more minutes, Bea fell down, only to land on a cushion. It looked like the usual pink cushion with nothing special, but for that situation, it felt like the most comfortable place in the world. "Good girl. Don't move, just stay there and relax. Close your eyes, sleep deeply, have some nice rest…" It sounded like a good idea, one that would help her regain energy. Wanting to have that nice rest that the voice kept repeating, Bea closed her eyes and slept deeply.
Bea didn't notice it, but she sealed her life after she closed her eyes. Being in that state made it easier for the magical bottle to "rework" her mind one last time. The cushion disappeared the the pink smoke involved her again, Bea breath the smoke, going even deeper in the state of trance. It was a good feeling, an Incredible feeling, one that gave her a lot of energy and ideas.
"Good girl, you did good.
"Don't ignore the ideas that you love."
"Now you are a genie, a magical being."
"Open your eyes and start with this new life."
All sounded good to her, she loved the ideas, she loved being a genie, she loved to obey and to grant wishes. Doing as told, Bea opened her eyes, revealing pink and gray spirals. She smiled, knowing well that she had a new purpose in life: being a slave and granting wishes. And she was ready to grant the wishes, she just needed to get out of the bottle, and luckily for her, soon she was going to be released from that place and start with her new life.
After waking up, Morty tried to understand what happened, being the last thing he remembered that both he and Bea were blinded by a light that came from the decorative bottle. He also noticed one thing: Bea was nowhere to be seen. He tried calling his friend, hoping to see that she was fine. Instead of Bea, he found the bottle, whose colors were now a combination of gray and black, the same ones of the attire of Bea.
"Strange." He said while holding the bottle. Before Morty could try to make sense about the changes of the bottle, the object started to glow again. Instead of a blinding light, gray smoke came out of it. When the smoke dispersed itself, Morty was in shock, as the genie that came out from the bottle turned out to be Bea.
The ghost-type trainer, while being aware about the legends of the items he looked for, never expected for the bottle to turn someone into a genie. He was in fear, surprised by what happened to his friend, not being sure if Bea still had an idea of who she was.
Morty had a different idea for his trip, even having time with a friend. Sadly, the plans, and the life of Bea, were something of the past. He wasn't sure what to do or what to feel. And while he was struggling with remaining calm, the Bea genie was happy, with a smile on her face and feeling better after being liberated from the bottle. Looking at the kind soul that helped her, not remembering that it was a friend, Bea went closer and said the words that would the main purpose in her life:
"Your wish is my command, master."
