Chapter 10
Seras
She quietly waited for their return. She was in a corner of the room, naked again. Seras held Athena close and hoped that her plan would work. It was a terrible risk, but she didn't think there was any other option, the torture was sure to continue today, and she was certain that it would break her concentration this time and allow Alpha to break into her mind and see all of Hellsing's hidden secrets she had. If she could, she had to escape, and tell the others where Alpha's hidden base was. Seras heard the door open, and Alpha, along with Beta and Pandora all entered this time. "She's cradling her kill," Pandora said, "Pathetic." Pandora walked closer to Seras, close enough for her shadow to fall on her. "So, how was the taste of innocent blood?" Seras got ready to spring her trap and whispered, "Delicious."
Seras sprang into action, and three shadowy tendrils sprang out and pierced through Pandora's heart, spine, and brain. Seras moved faster than the untrained eye could see and immediately ran straight for the open door, Athena clinging onto her for dear life. Beta appeared in the doorway, and Seras ran right into him, shocking the ancient werewolf as she tackled onto him. She then jumped up and ran down the hallway, only focusing on finding her Harkonnen cannons. She focused on finding them, using her own psychic signature left on them from all the years she wielded them. All of her senses were focused, only on running and dodging. She moved as fast as only she could, avoiding all werewolves in her way rather than engaging them.
Many assumed their wolf forms and tried to claw and bite her, but Seras was too fast for them, dodging everything they attempted. She jumped, spun, and ducked with the kind of grace an acrobat would sell their soul for, her only goal was to reach her weapons. In what was barely three minutes, Seras found the room with her weapons, guarded by two werewolf soldiers. Seras put on one last burst of speed as the werewolves transformed, and barely got between them as they charged at her by mere centimeters before she kicked the door down. And there were her Harkonnens, whole and undamaged, along with a lot of shells.
They were trying to reverse engineer them, that had to be it. Seras grabbed two of the shells and put one each into her cannons. Seras pointed one Harkonnen at the doorway as the werewolves tried to come in, and blasted them in one hit, killing at least three of them instantly as they were stuck trying to enter the door. She then pointed the second one straight up and fired. The shell tore through the ceiling like paper, and Seras prepared to fly up, when she stopped. "This isn't right," she said out loud, "This is too easy. This doesn't make sense that they'd leave me ammo for my guns."
That was when she opened her Third Eye, and realized it was all an illusion. She focused her mind and dispelled the illusion. She was still in the room, with Athena being held by Alpha. Alpha smiled at Seras and said, "That was quite good, being able to figure out that you were under an illusion so quickly." Seras stood up and glared at Alpha, "Let her go." Alpha shook her head, "No. I see now. You truly are a righteous warrior. I could break your body a thousand times, and you would never betray your comrades. But if an innocent life is at stake…"
Alpha's nails turned into claws, and she put them at Athena's throat, "Open your mind to me, Seras Victoria. Or the girl will die." Seras glared daggers at the werewolf leader and said, "This is what the ancient world was like, you, hiding behind a child!?" Alpha's face twitched at the mention of the word 'coward', and Seras saw what her chance to protect Athena. "Of course," Seras said, smiling, "After all, for all your boasting of being so old and powerful, here you are, holed up like a scared little bunny rabbit." Alpha's teeth became fangs and she growled, "You know nothing about me."
Seras laughed at the ancient werewolf and said, "I don't need to! Anybody with half a brain can tell that you're nothing but a high and mighty cowardly bitch! Hiding away for hundreds of years because you know that in the end, humans are stronger than you!" Alpha howled in rage at Seras, let go of Athena, and then went straight at Seras faster than a bullet! Seras barely ducked under a wild claw swipe that would have decapitated her then jumped over another one with barely millimeters of space. Seras could only focus on avoiding Alpha's claws, the werewolf was too fast for her to exploit any openings. Alpha clearly had never been trained how to fight, but her raw speed and strength more than made up for it. The two of them were a blur as they moved around each other, Alpha always attacking and Seras dodging for dear life.
Every swipe at Seras could tear her in half, and Seras kept on retreating, hoping that her greater technique would give her a chance. Her attention was entirely in the fight, Alpha wasn't giving her any chances to do anything except for survive, and that was all she needed. Every second Alpha was focused on Seras was a second of life for Athena. Alpha jumped back from Seras and said, "I see, the disadvantages I am under. You are a trained fighter, despite your youth. However, I am still the stronger of us!" Alpha then tore off her robes to reveal a body that was greatly toned like an athlete's and covered only in a scarlet loin cloth. "I never learned how to fight," Alpha boasted, "But I lived for two centuries in Sparta, and never forgot their physical training. For millennia I physically and mentally dominated other werewolves into serving me. Every one of my pack learned the hard way not to defy me, and now so shall you!"
Seras barely had time to duck under Alpha's grab for her throat, and quickly tackled her to the ground. "I have you!" Seras yelled as she mounted Alpha and got ready for a punch to her heart, only for Alpha to grab her arm instead. "Fool!" Alpha triumphantly yelled as she tore Seras' arm off at the shoulder then stabbed her claws under her rib cage. Seras puked blood as Alpha lifted her up, impaling her over her arm. "You forget, we are not human, we are not limited like they are!" Alpha grabbed Seras' throat and snapped her neck like a twig before tossing her to the wall. She turned to look at Athena then and said, "Now, I think that it's time for you to enjoy some blood, Seras Victoria."
Seras was too weak to fight back this time. She had used up all her strength in the fight. Alpha dragged Athena to her and pulled on the girl's hair to bare her throat. "I'm sorry, Athena. I couldn't save you," the Draculina said with bloody tears in her eyes.
Like a miracle, the door opened, and one of the werewolves ran in yelling, "ALPHA! THEY CRACKED YOUR CODES!" Alpha let go of Athena in shock and said, "Send the hybrids now! Target England, destroy that woman, Integra Hellsing, and her country as well! Prepare for Operation Purge!" She quickly left the room, leaving Seras and Athena alone. "What's going on!?" the girl asked. Seras forced her body to heal, and said, "My friends must have figured out where we are. Danny Phantom's on his way to save us now." Athena looked at Seras in disbelief, and Seras gave her a reassuring smile she didn't feel. Hurry Integra. Hurry, Danny.
Cameron
The moment they arrived on the English coastal city Kingston on Hull, Cameron formed her fingers into an inverted triangle over her heart and used the Fawkes Invocation, "Unlocking Full Ectoplasmic Power Level One, the Fawkes Invocation is now in effect. All power released until the Enemy is destroyed." Alucard made his own hand sign and declared, "Releasing Control Art Restrictions 3…2…1. Approval of Situation A recognized; commencing the Cromwell Invocation. Ability restrictions lifted for limited use until the Enemy has been rendered silent." Dark power swirled around them both, mixed with ectoplasm in Cameron's case, as their full power was unleashed. Those humans who witnessed it all ran away as fast as their legs could move, when Cameron emerged, her white Hellsing uniform now turned into a blood red jumpsuit with black boots, gloves, and belt, blonde hair turned black as night, but now her eyes glowed pure green with power and rage. Alucard emerged in his Released Form, his long hair and leather straps flying in the wind that was blowing towards them. "We'll slaughter them all!" Cameron declared, her voice echoing around her. Alucard ordered her, "Attack as soon as you see them. Don't be afraid to fall back. Fight them over the water if you can." "What about you, Master?" Cameron asked him.
"A vampire like me can't move over moving water like a river or the ocean by himself. If I fall in, I will be powerless. I'll stay on the ground, and if any of them reaches the coast, I'll deal with them," Alucard explained as he cocked his guns with his teeth. "I understand. I'll try to leave some for you," Cameron said with a vicious smile as she flew off, faster than sound. She soon spotted the enemy and flew right at one that was a woman. 'Was' being the operative word as Cameron rammed into her at full speed, the werewolf hybrid was flying hundreds of miles an hour and didn't have time to react as Cameron rammed into her. The werewolf hybrid exploded into a cloud of gore and body parts that fell into the ocean.
Cameron turned around, covered in her blood and the werewolf hybrids as three more of them turned around while the rest kept on going. Cameron saw there were eleven of them heading to England and smiled, "COME OOOOOONNNNNNN!" Cameron unleashed a Ghostly Wail on the three werewolf hybrids, the ghostly sound waves glowing blood red as the ocean below reverberated from her power. Cameron flew at the remaining attackers, bloodlust flowing through her like the most intense orgasm she ever experienced.
The remaining werewolf hybrids all had time to transform by then, and Cameron found herself confronted by ten glowing green wolf-men. Cameron tried another Ghostly Wail, only for the werewolves to avoid it and immediately go on the attack. Cameron moved fast and avoided any killing blows, but her arms were soon covered in scratches as well as a long claw down her spine that hurt worse than she expected. Cameron clapped her hands together, making a shockwave that forced them back. Her injuries didn't heal as fast as they should, and Cameron knew that these guys were more dangerous than she realized.
Master, I destroyed four of them, she telepathically told Alucard, the rest are stronger than I realized. Be ready to fight. Alucard answered, Understood. Lure them to me and we'll end this quickly. Cameron barely had time to avoid another attack as they went after her with ghost rays. Focus Cammie, you need to dodge the rays and get to Alucard! She flew as fast as she could to avoid being surrounded, but it was difficult when her enemies could attack her from literally any direction. The werewolves were coordinated as they moved and blasted at her. Cameron flew like she never had before, dodging, spinning loop-de-loops and dives were all she knew, the whole time heading back for England's coast.
She almost reached it when she was hit, a ghost ray barely missed her heart, and a second, and then a third tore through her chest and neck. Cameron couldn't even scream as she hit the coast and werewolves flew at her like guided missiles. Alucard suddenly appeared over her and fired away at the werewolves. Their own momentum prevented them from stopping in time, and Alucard's silver bullets shot them down like they were clay targets. Only the last one was able to avoid death by going intangible just in time, letting the bullet pass through his body. Alucard smiled wide and said, "COME, FACE ME YOU MONGREL!"
The werewolf hybrid howled in response and flew down to the beach. Alucard pointed his guns at it and fired away. The Last Hybrid turned intangible and let them pass through him. Cameron healed while this was going on and stood up. "Back away, this one's mine!" Alucard told her; his insane smile plastered on his face as the Last Hybrid attacked him with ghost rays. Alucard just kept on firing away, and the Hybrid dodged them as it continued its charge. Alucard dug his heels in and grabbed the werewolf's paws as it tried to claw him. Alucard's supernatural muscles bulged against his leather outfit, but he was still smiling the whole time.
He laughed at the Hybrid and told it, "So, this is all that an abomination like you can do!?" Alucard's laughter filled the air, and the Hybrid answered by blasting the top of Alucard's head off with a ghost ray from its mouth. Alucard's headless body responded by kicking it in the chin with bone breaking force, before gripping its arms tighter until its bones cracked. Alucard's head reformed and he continued laughing as the Hybrid whined in pain. "I knew it, a creature like you has no real power, only fake power. You're nothing more than a mindless attack dog with delusions of grandeur," Alucard kicked the Hybrid between its legs them, hard enough to make it howl in pain. Alucard finished by tearing the Hybrid's arms off at the shoulders before finishing it off by tearing out its heart and crushing it in front of the poor creature's face before blowing its brains out with his guns. The Hybrid's body burst into green flames as a flaming ghost rose into the air, howling mournfully.
"That wasn't as tough as it should have been," Alucard said to Cameron, "If I'm not mistaken, that clone of your late Mother is much more powerful than that. I can only imagine why these Hybrids are so weak in comparison." Cameron returned to her normal form and suggested, "It might be that they're poorly made. They might have tried to use leftover DNA from my Dad or something to make them, so they couldn't do it right. They might be breaking down, like some clones that Vlad Plasmius made of my Dad years ago. They were made without mid-morph DNA, and were incomplete, and melted to nothing within a week."
"That makes sense," Alucard said, "Your Father destroyed their labs trying to escape, and we've taken many of their bases. At this point, they can't hope to conquer the world." Alucard then got a grim look on his face, and Cameron asked him, "What's wrong?" Alucard assumed his normal form as he told her, "A cornered mongrel is the most dangerous." Cameron felt a shiver down her spine at his tone.
