The original team of Wards are finally trusted to undertake an operation without having the Protectorate on hand to supervise them and naturally there is more to the situation than first believed. The fact that Mouse Protector isn't one of the listed Worm characters on here is a disgrace.

The Celestial Forge is the greatest combination of crafting powers in Jumpchain, meaning it is the greatest combination of crafting abilities in all of fiction. In Brockton Bay a forgotten side character's trigger event ends with him linked to the Celestial Forge rather than his intended shard. His expanding collection of tinker abilities drag him into the city's cape conflicts.

The average person can easily understand that when it comes to living in a crime-infested city like Brockton Bay where villains carve out their own personal fiefdoms, treating life like a game can get you killed. A circumstance of fate while coming home from the hospital one night leads her to one, amazing discovery. Putting on a mask and beating people up is really, really satisfying.

What if Piggot had a spare new Ward to help monitor Sophia at Winslow? Someone faster, with alot to prove, who doesn't take her crap? He ends up in some of Sophia's classes and Taylor's. Suddenly his priority splits between watching Sophia in school and keep Taylor as far from her as possible. How far would he go to keep the peace? How far should he go to please the Director?
