So, I am in mourning because the totally wonderful Victoria Wood died this week at the all-too-young age of 62. She was brilliant - stand up, parody, script writing, comic songs - she did it all. So here (shamelessly channelling her parody of Brassed Off) is my tribute - Victoria Wood as tenth walker, joining the fellowship in the Mines of Moria. RIP Victoria.

An encounter between Aragorn and a Nazgûl during the Ranger's hunt for Gollum. I was rereading the Lord of the Rings for Tolkien reading day and wondered why Aragorn seemed to have prior experience with the Ringwraiths. This is what came of it. Also, this was my Teitho entry for May, which did not place.

Cassiopeia "Wilwarin" is the eldest daughter of Lord Elrond from his first marriage to Lady Caldadwen daughter of Lady Galadriel and Lord Celebron of the Golden Wood. Cassiopeia's life is not simple and was only complicated further by her naneth leaving for Valinor. Focus on father/daughter relationship. AU. This short scene is a more elaborate version of something mentioned in chapter 33 (or Chapter 12 of part 2) of the my story Walking in Worlds beyond. Possibly just a one short.
