First fic, hope it's okay! Pretty much, Loki is banished to Midgard, has a rough time, meets some enemies, gets slapped around a little, makes some friends, gets some hugs, betrays everyone, gets some more hugs, and is finally able to forgive himself.

Loki did make a promise to visit Jane, he expected to find a vapid girl like the ones that are Thor's usual conquests, he is shocked when he finds an intelligent, independent, beautiful woman. One who does not see him in Thor's shadow.

Thor decides to tell Loki about how he reacted when Loki was first introduced to him as his brother. However, what Thor tells Loki about how he felt at the beginning is not exactly what Loki expected to hear. Post Avengers. No slash. Rated because I'm overly cautious.
