In which Frodo Baggins and Boromir of Gondor get acquainted in Rivendell… (Written in 2004).

In Rivendell, Merry and Pippin try to prepare themselves for some bad news. Written in 2004 for Marigold's Challenge #4, the first Marigold's Challenge in which I participated. This was my fifth fanfic.

Boromir has a secret that he has told no one. When someone important needs help, is he willing to spill the beans? Even if it could mean eternal embarrassment or scorn? Crack. May make you loose a few brain cells by cause of sickening Mary-Sues. You have been warned. (This was a dream!)

Gil-galad begins to notice that his passionate young lover has all but disappeared from his life and searches Lindon high and low for Elrond. Has he neglected his duties as a King? Or as a lover?

Celebrian is horrified by this turn of events- betrothal to Elrond, a Half-elf? What were her parents thinking? It's only his own inferiority complex that can possibly convince her otherwise.

Frodo and Aragorn have a brief conversation following the Council of Elrond. This is for claudia603 and Linda Hoyland, who both asked for Frodo and Aragorn friendship. Since it's for two people, it's 200 words! (Written in 2011, in response to drabble requests on my LiveJournal.)

How could "kind as summer" Elrond possibly be evil? This title prompt for the 2007 B2MeM Alphabet challenge nearly had me stumped. But then, there might be a case where he could be *perceived* as evil. A double drabble.
