Chapter 43: Dylan and the Magic Railway
It was the morning after Dylan and Secre's special time together, Secre Swallowtail (wearing one of Dylan's night shirts, which was his black Joker "Why So Serious?" t-shirt, and completely barefoot) was in the kitchen as she pouring out some Cocoa Puffs cereal into a bowl.
Then, Dylan Riley (wearing his glasses, a black Pro Wrestling Trainwreck "Southern Sickness Cup 2021" t-shirt, blue jeans, and sneakers) walks into the kitchen and sees Secre.
"Oh hey Secre," Dylan said to Secre.
"Hi Dylan," Secre said to Dylan as Dylan sees her in his night shirt.
"Love the fact that you have on one of my shirts, it's so big but yet looks cute on you," Dylan said to Secre as Secre blushes a bit.
"Oh Dylan," Secre said to Dylan.
"That's Meredy's cereal, did you ask her if you could eat some of it?" Dylan asked Secre.
"Oh I did, once I got up, I asked her and she said yes," Secre said.
"Is that the truth?" Dylan asked Secre.
"I'm telling you the truth," Secre said as she raised her right hand up.
"Okay, I believe you," Dylan said to Secre as Secre puts down her right hand and grabs a spoon.
"Hey where is Bellemere?" Dylan asked Secre as Secre pours out some chocolate milk into a glass.
"She's outside having a smoke," Secre said.
"Thanks," Dylan said to Secre and then he heads out of the kitchen.
Outside the Mermaid Heel guild, Bellemere (wearing a white t-shirt with some bloody daggers on it, blue jeans, and brown Timberland boots) was smoking away as she puts her lit up cigarette between her lips and was sitting down on a bench
"Oh fuck, this is some great nicotine," Bellemere said as Dylan steps out of the guild and closing the door behind him.
"Smoking anyway Bellemere?" Dylan asked Bellemere as he sits beside her.
"Yes," Bellemere said.
"Anyway before Aqua's ball kicking spree, I wanted to tell you about the trip to Hamburg," Dylan said to Bellemere.
"Oh yeah, how was it?" Bellemere asked Dylan.
"Despite Secre being powerful and being the hardest girl to defeat, it was amazing and I got to go to Miniatur Wunderland," Dylan said.
"Oh yeah that model train place," Bellemere said.
"It has the largest model railway display in the world," Dylan said in an excited tone.
"I just need to know, why do you love trains?" Bellemere asked Dylan.
"It's kind of childish," Dylan said as he had his head down.
"Don't be afraid, I won't laugh," Bellemere said as Nico Robin (wearing her aviators, pink salmon tank top with a white palm leave pattern on it, black biker shorts, and black sneakers) walks outside and sits next to Bellemere.
"What's going on?" Robin asked the pair.
"Dylan was going to tell me why he loves trains," Bellemere said.
"Just don't laugh Robin," Dylan said to Robin.
"Oh I won't," Robin said as Dylan lifts his head up.
"Alright then, I'll tell you two," Dylan said to Robin and Bellemere.
"When I was very young there was a show I watched and was obsessed with," Dylan said.
"What was the show?" Robin asked Dylan.
"Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends," Dylan said.
"Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends," Bellemere said as she couldn't believe it.
"What was this show about?" Robin asked Dylan.
"Oh it was about this train named Thomas, and all the trains on the Island of Sodor, as they go on these adventures," Dylan said.
"What do you remember most about this show?" Bellemere asked Dylan.
Dylan then thinks about the question and all he could think of were the crashes and spills that were shown, and there were a lot of them.
"Oh the lessons on it," Dylan said as he was trying to keep a straight face.
"Anyway, I had numerous VHS tapes of the show, a comforter, pillow cases, and numerous wooden toys," Dylan said.
"You then got rid of them when you got older," Robin said to Dylan.
"Yeah, I outgrew Thomas, but I didn't grow out for my love of trains," Dylan said.
"That is so neat Dylan," Bellemere said to Dylan.
"Yeah I think it is cool where you got your love of trains from," Robin said to Dylan.
"Yeah Thomas is the reason why I love trains, if I didn't watch it I would of hated trains," Dylan said.
"Anyway, I got photos of Miniatur Wunderland and I have a story to tell you," Dylan said to Robin and Bellemere as he pulls out his iPhone from his right front pocket.
"Oh I got to hear this," Robin said as Dylan hands Bellemere his phone.
Bellemere then goes to the home page on the phone and heads into the photos app.
"The photos are in the album, Miniatur Wunderland," Dylan said as Bellemere finds the album and clicks on it.
"Now this all started two days after we defeated Secre," Dylan said.
Two days after Secre's defeat…
It was eight a.m. as the SUV carrying Dylan and the girls pulls up to the entrance of the famed Miniatur Wunderland. Then, Dylan (wearing his glasses, black Nightmare vs. Murderhawk t-shirt, blue jeans, and sneakers) exit the SUV and walks over to the driver's side window, where Nami was driving.
"You sure you don't want to come in with me?" Dylan asked Nami (who was wearing a blue short sleeve dress shirt with a black tie, black skirt, and gladiator sandals).
"No we're good, we have to do some looking around," Nami said.
"And you sure Secre is fine in the hotel room?" Dylan asked Nami.
"Yeah she's fine, she needs some time to rest," Nami said.
"Alright, see you at four," Dylan said to Nami.
"Okay have fun Dylan," Nami said to Dylan and then she drives off.
"Alright alright, time to see everything Miniatur Wunderland has to offer," Dylan said as he walks up to the building.
"Oh my god, this is going to be off the charts," Dylan said and then he walks into the building.
Once he pays the admission, Dylan heads up to the fourth floor to tour the layouts.
"Okay, time to take so many photos," Dylan said as he pulls out his iPhone and turns it on.
Once he goes to the home page and into the camera app, Dylan holds up his phone to look at the Central Germany layout.
Dylan then looks at the layout to see the ICE speed train passing by and takes a picture of it.
"It's a dream come true," Dylan said.
Dylan then continues to take more pictures of the layout. He looks to see the Arminius Monument, the fun fair, and the numerous trains passing by.
"Oh crap this is so amazing, the amount of detail they went into it is off the charts, especially how they set up the fair," Dylan said as he sees several rides were actually moving.
"If only Canada has something like this," Dylan said as he continues to look at the layout.
Twenty minutes later, Dylan see everything in Central Germany and then he moves over to the Austria layout.
Dylan then sees the trains driving along the tracks of Austria, and then he sees the ski lifts, Santa Fu prison, Schauertal Bridge, and the Wendelberg train helix.
"Oh this is amazing, I can't believe the ski lifts work," Dylan said as takes photos of the landmarks, ski lifts, and the trains passing by.
"Also this train helix is such an amazing piece of work, this must took months to get right," Dylan said as he continues to take more photos.
After twenty minutes of looking, Dylan then moves over to the United States layout and was amazed by the work of it. He sees the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Area 51, Mount Rushmore, Transatlantic-tunnel, and a Christmas village.
"Oh my god, it is so beautiful," Dylan said as he takes pictures of the moving trains, locations, and other moving vehicles.
"This is quite possibly the best moment in my life, not including losing my virginity," Dylan said as he took pictures of Area 51.
"The trains they got pretty much fit with each region," Dylan said.
Twenty-five minutes later, Dylan moves from the USA layout to the Italy layout as he sees St. Peter's Basilica, Mount Vesuvius, Pompeii, and the Colosseum.
"Oh my god Italy, this looks absolutely spectacular," Dylan said as he takes photos of the trains and the places.
"Oh I wish I lived in Hamburg, so I can visit this place everyday," Dylan said.
Twenty minutes later, Dylan moves from the Italy layout to the Venice layout. He then sees the famed Carnival, Doge's Palace, St. Mark's Basilica, and Procuratie.
"Holy shit, Venice looks absolutely amazing, I don't care if they don't have too many trains, I just love the numerous canals they got," Dylan said as he takes photos of the Venice layout.
"If Nami saw this, it would made her think of Water 7, I mean Water 7 is pretty much similar to Venice," Dylan said.
After thirty minutes later, Dylan moves over to the Scandinavian layout as he sees the snowy landscape and the moving ships in the water.
"This is awesome, I love the snow and the ships in the water, they put in a lot of effort in this," Dylan said as he takes photos of the layout.
Twenty-five minutes later, Dylan then moves over and was standing in front of the Hamburg layout. He couldn't believe the size of the layout, it was the biggest one of the bunch, and he loved seeing the numerous landmarks, the moving trains, and the moving vehicles.
"Oh my god I think I found my favorite layout of the bunch," Dylan said in a very happy tone as he starts to take numerous photos.
"I want to find the people that made this layout, say they are amazing, and shake their hands because that's how good it is," Dylan said as he taking photos of everything in the layout.
Forty minutes later, Dylan then moves over to the Knuffingen layout as it was the oldest layout of the bunch. He looks to see the old looking buildings and the numerous trains and cars driving along the tracks and roads.
"This is quite possibly the oldest and most fascinating layout," Dylan said as he takes photos of the layout.
"It is so awesome to see the cars, this must be the hardest layout to make so far, no wonder it took a year to make it," Dylan said.
Twenty-five minutes later, Dylan then moves over to Knuffingen Airport layout and this layout was quite possibly the most technical of the bunch as Dylan watches the planes move and fly.
"Holy shit, holy shit this is an awesome airport and all the planes flying makes it all better," Dylan said as he takes photos of the planes and the other buildings in the layout.
Twenty minutes later, Dylan heads downstairs to the next layout, Switzerland. He was awestruck to see the trains driving and the numerous landmarks, which included the Matterhorn, Montebello, and a chocolate factory.
"Second last layout, Switzerland and wow it looks good," Dylan said as he sees the trains driving by and a mountain lift going up and down.
"Switzerland looks pretty amazing, it definitely has the same quality level as the other layouts," Dylan said as he takes photos of the layout.
Dylan then moves over to the last layout, Rio De Janeiro.
"This must be the newest layout," Dylan said as he looks at the building and the streetcar passing by.
"It definitely looks like Rio De Janeiro, but I think they be adding more to it," Dylan said as he takes photos of the layout.
"Alright I have seen all the layouts, but I'll look at them again since I have a lot of time," Dylan said as he heads back upstairs to look at the layouts again, but not taking pictures since he got enough photos.
Two and a half hours later, Dylan finished looking at Switzerland as he finished looking at all the layouts again.
"Okay I think that is enough to see," Dylan said as he was about to leave.
Then, Dylan looks to see a sign they reads "Special Exhibit" and it was pointed to a room.
"Huh special exhibit, I have to see this," Dylan said as he walks over to the room.
Dylan then enters the room and what he saw nearly made his jaw drop.
"Oh my god," Dylan said in shock.
What Dylan saw was a layout of the Island of Sodor from Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends.
"Tell me this is not real," Dylan said as he looks to see a nameplate that said "Island of Sodor" on it.
"This is real, they built Sodor, they built Sodor," Dylan said in an excited tone.
Dylan looks around to see all the famous landmarks and stations from the show, there was too many to mention.
Dylan then looks around as he sees the famous steam (both mainline and small gauge) and diesel engines from the show. He sees Edward, Toby, Donald and Douglas, Percy, Henry, Gordon, James, Duck, Diesel, Mavis, Daisy, BoCo, Bill and Ben, Derek, Oliver, Stephney, Skarloey, Rheneas, Sir Handel, Duncan, Rusty, and Peter Sam. He also see the non-train characters like Terence, Trevor, Bertie, Harold, George, and Bulgy.
"Oh my god I recognize everyone, I guess they stop at series five since that's the last season I watched," Dylan said and then he sees the famed Thomas the Tank Engine riding along the track.
"Oh there's Thomas," Dylan said as he takes a photo of Thomas.
"This is the best thing I have ever seen," Dylan said happily and then he hears the door slam shut.
"What the hell?" Dylan asked in shock as he sees the door close.
Then, this smoke starts to fill the room as Dylan starts to cough like crazy.
"What's going on?" Dylan asked as he starts to feel weak.
Then, Dylan falls onto the floor and loses consciousness.
Soon, Dylan opens his eyes as he looks up at the ceiling.
"Oh hell, what was that all about?" Dylan asked in shock as he stands up.
Dylan then looks to see a building in front of him and on a sign read "Knapford Station" on it.
"Knapford Station," Dylan said and then he realize something.
"Oh my god, I'm in the layout," Dylan said in complete shock as he somehow got shrunk down and is in the layout.
"Oh fuck, I can't call anyone because there is no bars on my phone," Dylan said in a panicked tone as he sees that there was no bars on his iPhone.
"Oh what am I going to do?" Dylan asked himself and then he realize something.
"Wait a minute, I'm in Sodor, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see it first hand," Dylan said and then he gets excited.
"But how will I get around?" Dylan asked as he hears the famed steam whistle.
Then Dylan looks to see Thomas driving up with his two coaches, Annie and Clarabel, behind him.
"Perfect," Dylan said.
When Thomas gets close to him, Dylan jumps up and climbs up into the driver's spot.
"Oh my god, I'm actually in Thomas, this is a dream come true, the five year old me would be jumping for joy now," Dylan said in an excited tone.
"I feel like I'm hearing George Carlin or Alec Baldwin narrating this right now," Dylan said.
Dylan was enjoying this little ride as he takes pictures of the buildings and other engines that were passing by. Then, he sees Oliver driving past him with his trusty break van, Toad, in the back.
"Cool," Dylan said as he takes a photo of Toad.
As he continues on this little ride, they pass the Brendam Docks as Dylan sees Cranky above him.
"Oh nice, Cranky," Dylan said as he takes a photo of Cranky.
The ride continues as Dylan passes the Knapford Yards and he sees the broken S.C. Ruffey.
"Ooh nice," Dylan said as he takes a photo.
Soon the ride goes around the Skarloey line as he sees the famous sights of the line, including the destroyed slate quarry where Peter Sam's crash took place.
"Ooh I remember this," Dylan said as he takes the photo.
Later on Dylan then pass by the famed Tidmouth Sheds as he takes a photo of it.
"Wow the famous sheds where Thomas and the other main engines live in, that is so amazing," Dylan said.
"You know I wouldn't mind another tour of this layout," Dylan said.
"Alright Thomas, let's go around again," Dylan said to Thomas as they travel around the layout again.
Eighty minutes later, Dylan finished off another tour of the layout as he was thinking about how he was going to get out.
"This is fun, but I need to figure out how to get out and get back to my normal size," Dylan said.
Then, Dylan could feel Thomas speeding up as he falls onto his ass and tries to get back to his feet.
"What the?" Dylan asked in shock as he stands back on his feet.
"Why is Thomas speeding up?" Dylan asked as he sees the land blurring past him.
"Oh fuck, I can't jump off or I will be seriously injured," Dylan said as he couldn't take the chance of jumping off.
As he was panicking, Dylan ends up seeing Sir Topham Hatt standing at a station and takes a picture of him.
"Nice, got a photo of Sir Topham Hatt," Dylan said and then he starts to panic again.
Later on, Dylan sees Annie and Clarabel shaking a bit as he knew they were about to topple.
"Okay, I need to do something, otherwise Thomas is going to be tipped," Dylan said as he was looking to find something to solve this.
Dylan then sees a switch as he knew that would lead to the Skarloey rail line.
"I got it," Dylan said as he carefully walks out outside of Thomas.
Dylan then pulls a pin as he disconnects Annie and Clarabel from Thomas. Once he was close to the switch, he flicks it as Annie and Clarabel are sent up to the Skarloey rail line.
"Nice," Dylan said and then he gets back into Thomas.
Thomas continues to travel at a high rate of speed as Dylan was still panicking over trying to figure how to get off of Thomas.
"This is fucking crazy, it feels like I'm in Speed and Unstoppable at the same time, and it is not fun," Dylan said.
Dylan was looking around to see if there was anything to control Thomas' speed. Unfortunately, all the controls were painted on.
"Oh damn it, why is everything painted on," Dylan complained as he sees a switch coming up.
Dylan then looks down to see a loose piece on Thomas. So he tears it off, throws it, and the piece hits the switch.
Then, Thomas switches to another track as Dylan breathes a sigh of relief for the moment.
"Oh thank god, I hope this leads to somewhere safe because I haven't seen this before," Dylan said.
As Thomas was chugging along, Dylan notices a station up ahead. He then look to see a huge hole at the end and he realizes which station he is at.
"Oh fuck, I'm in Kirk Ronan and that's the Gordon shaped hole," Dylan said in a panicked tone and then he realize something.
"Oh wait, Thomas might go through and I'll lay safely on the grass," Dylan said as he was now calm.
Then, Dylan looks to see Thomas wasn't heading towards the hole, instead he was heading to the wall next to it.
"Oh fuck, oh fuck, I'm heading to the wall," Dylan said in a panicked tone.
Dylan then braces for impact and then Thomas hits the wall at a high rate of speed. Thomas was stuck in the wall as his wheels slow down and Thomas was covered in dust from the hit.
Dylan then steps out of Thomas and lands on the ground, looking a bit disoriented.
"It was time for Thomas to go, he has seen what he needed to see," Dylan said sounding like Ringo Starr and then he faints after that crash.
As Dylan was out cold, he could hear what sounded like Nami and Meredy speaking.
"What do we do?" Nami asked.
"Do we shake him?" Meredy asked.
"It's not a good idea," Nami said.
"I think this calls for the kiss of life," Ristarte said in an excited tone.
Dylan then slowly opens his eyes to see he was in his hotel room as the girls were kneeling over top of him. He then sees Ristarte (wearing her black hoodie, white skirt, and gold sneakers) kissing him on the lips as this made him happy.
Ristarte then breaks off the kiss as she had a huge smile on her face.
"Oh yes, my kiss idea worked," Ristarte said in a happy tone.
Dylan then sits up and rubs his head a bit.
"Dylan, are you okay?" Nami asked Dylan in a concern tone.
"Yeah," Dylan said.
"What happened?" Dylan asked the girls.
"We found you unconscious outside of Miniatur Wunderland and brought you back here," Meredy (wearing a red sweater dress and black knee-high boots) said to Dylan.
"What happened in there?" Botan (wearing a yellow polo shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers) asked Dylan.
"I got knocked out, shrunk down, and was put in one of the layouts," Dylan said.
"I didn't expect to hear that," Beth Vanderwood (wearing a dark red t-shirt, blue jean shorts that stop at the upper thighs, and red sandals) said.
"I hopped on one of the trains and soon it started to sped up as I flipped switches to avoid disaster. When I flipped the last switch, I end up colliding right into a train station and lost consciousness afterwards," Dylan said.
"How did you get out there?" Botan asked Dylan.
"I think what happened is whoever shrunk Dylan got him out of the layout, set him outside, and then returned him to normal size," Nami said.
"How this person was able to do that without anyone noticing is freaking amazing," Meredy said.
"Who cares, we're just glad Dylan is okay," Nami said to Meredy.
"Yeah we are relieved you are in one whole piece," Meredy said to Dylan as Dylan laughs a little.
"Well it's going to take more than a crash to take me out," Dylan said as Ristarte gives him a soft hug.
"I'm just so happy to see you up," Ristarte said to Dylan in a very happy tone.
"I'm happy to hear that from you Rista, now can you please let go?" Dylan asked Ristarte and then Ristarte break off the hug.
Soon, most of the girls get up and were heading to the door.
"Hey we are getting something to eat, need anything?" Nami asked Dylan.
"No thanks, I'm not hungry," Dylan said and then the girls leave the room.
Dylan then turns his head to the right as he sees Secre (wearing her dress and completely barefoot) sitting on a chair.
"So, did you enjoy your time at that place?" Secre asked Dylan.
"Even shrunk down, I absolutely loved visiting Miniatur Wunderland, seeing all the amazing layouts was a real sight to see," Dylan said as this made Secre smile.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it," Secre said to Dylan.
Dylan then smiles and then he falls asleep. Secre then gets off the chair and walks over to the bed. She then gets on the bed and snuggles next to Dylan.
"Don't worry Dylan, I'll be by your side until you wake up," Secre said softly to Dylan as she cuddles next to him.
Present day…
"Woah," Bellemere said as she and Robin continue to look through the photos.
"So you end up getting smashed through a wall and fainting," Robin said to Dylan.
"Yeah I think it was more from shock, I looked at myself and didn't see any cuts or broken bones," Dylan said.
"You're so fucking lucky Dylan," Bellemere said to Dylan.
"I am," Dylan said as he was smiling shyly.
"This place looks amazing, it feels like the people really did their research on the places to get each layout right," Robin said.
"Yeah it is amazing, it is two floors of awesome layouts and trains chugging along," Dylan said in an excited tone.
"Also this Sodor layout is amazing and it is even better knowing you were in it," Bellemere said to Dylan.
"Yeah I was able to get some great action shots, not to mention all the engines from the show," Dylan said as Bellemere and Robin stand on their feet.
"Hey do you mind we show the other girls this?" Bellemere asked Dylan.
"Sure, but just everything up to when I was in the Sodor layout," Dylan said to Bellemere said to Robin.
"Don't worry Dylan, we'll show them just the real layouts," Robin said to Dylan.
"Good," Dylan said as Bellemere and Robin walk back into the guild.
"Well I should get back in, I need to watch some SMG4 videos," Dylan said as he gets off the chair and heads for the door.
"Huh, I wonder who shrunk me down?" Dylan asked himself and then he walks into the guild.
Meanwhile in Miniatur Wunderland in the Sodor layout, there was a green crest that kind of looked like a three point crown left on the side of the Tidmouth Sheds as whoever did it was the one who shrunk Dylan.
Ooh that was fun, Dylan went to an awesome model railway place and nearly got killed when he got shrunk down and smashed through a wall. Whoever shrunk Dylan left a calling card of sorts on a shed, this is interesting.
Anyway, we got another chapter coming soon as we got the tenth (and yes I did say tenth) girl to be under control by a card, so stay tuned.
