"Lacrima, and Text via book or newspaper... when those are around..."
I stare blankly up at the guild hall with narrowed eyes.
Well.
It looks like this is happening.
"Oh! Pierce. The job board's in the basement." Mavis waves, completely and totally ignoring the damage to the guild hall.
Instead of the normal pristine walls, several humongous spires of iron pierce cleanly through the guild house, making it look extremely unstable. It looks as if it could crumble to nothing in mere seconds.
She notices my displeased frown as my eyes slowly stray towards her.
She gives me a nervous smile as she scratches the back of her head. "Phantom lord got us pretty good, huh."
I let out a quiet sigh and follow her around the building, walking down into the basement.
Instantly I can tell the morale is down, instead of the normal boisterous cheer of the guild, everyone is hushed, quiet, sounding defeated.
"WHY NOT?!" A pink haired mage roars as he slams his hands down on the bar next to an extremely tiny old man.
"Becaush I shaid sho." The man replies, he is absolutely out of it, the drunkest I have ever seen Master Makarov.
"The guild hall has been completely destroyed!" The pink haired pyromancer shouts
"Naaaah I wousnt ssay it's complaatey destroyed." The drunk old man waves off. "Jush a lil bitt."
"GRAMPS! We can't just let them trash our place like this!" The pink haired dragon slayer shouts.
I take this moment to glance around the guild hall, there are a few new faces, some white haired dude, a black haired guy and a girl that looks to be about Sherria's age after the time skip, nobody that I instantly recognize, however.
"Why shhould we care about those buncha cowards! Theey didn't have the courage to attack when anyone wash here." Makarov questions with a slight slur to his words, he sways atop the countertop. "We'll be doin' quests down here until the guild hall is fixed. I'm not talking about thish any longer."
The man lets out a quiet 'Hmph'
"We shouldn't be worrying about jobs right now!" Natsu exclaims.
"Natsu that's enough out of you!" The old man exclaims as he gives the teen a weak chop to the head with an elongated arm.
He hops off the bar with a single breath.
"Where are you going old man?!" The fire wizard growls.
"Keep yer skirt on. Ya ninny. I'm just gonna to take a leak." The man replies before goofily wobbling off.
I take a seat at the bar as Mavis slowly walks around the counter.
"You do realize they are not going to stop at merely this, right?" I question idly as the small blonde begins searching through bottles underneath the bar.
"It's BULLSHIT!" Natsu snarls as he loudly takes a seat next to me. "We should be over there returning the favor!"
"What do you mean by 'They won't stop at this'?" Lucy slowly asks as she stands slightly behind Natsu.
"Oh, it seems like they really want to have a war with us. They're trying to provoke us to get us to make the first legitimate move."
"They attacked our guild hall! They already did the first move!" Natsu snarls.
"No, what they did was one of their mages 'accidentally' hit our guild building when one of their attacks while they were on a quest! Alas! Those Fairy Tail savages simply attacked before their glorious master could offer compensation. They plan to make us the bad guys in this fight, so even if they lose, our guild will be shut down by the magic council." I explain for the fire mage.
"What?! That's bullshit! They started it!" The fire mage snarls.
"The magic council wants to shut down Fairy Tail for our... destructive... tendencies." Mavis cuts in, agreeing with my point. "I don't know why Phantom Lord is trying this, but Pierce is right. They are trying to provoke us into a war."
"I know why they're doing it." I shrug.
"You do?" Mavis blinks.
"You do?!" Lucy asks.
"I could." I finish with a slight smirk.
"What are those phantom bastards planning?!" Natsu snarls.
I let out a quiet sigh as I fish ten thousand jewel out of my pocket.
It disappears with a flash as knowledge enters my head.
"Hm. Yes. I see."
I sell the information back to wherever it came from, returning a majority of my money.
I gesture over my shoulder with my thumb without even looking back. "Her."
"W-What?" Lucy questions.
"Hn?" Mavis hums with a raised eyebrow.
"Someone ELSE wants to kidnap Lucy?!" Happy gasps, slapping his little paws against the side of his head in shock.
"She ran away from home. Her dad is paying phantom lord to bring her back. They're using it as an excuse to pick a fight." I explain as I look around the guild hall slowly. "Not that I think that their guild master will give her back to her father, he plans on keeping her as a hostage to force him to invest in the Phantom Lord guild."
It appears they have shoved Allocer's cannon into the far corner of the room. A lot of the other junk I saw down here a couple of days ago is gone as well.
Natsu, Mavis, and Happy stare at Lucy who wilts at their gaze.
"Don't worry Lucy!" The fire dragon slayer exclaims. "We'll never let em' take you!"
"M-Maybe I should just quit..." Lucy suddenly whispers.
"Huh?!" Natsu gasps. "Why on earthland would you do that?!"
I offer the girl a slow blink, Mavis gives the girl a surprised look. "W-what?! Why would you leave?!"
"I-I have done nothing but cause the guild problems s-since I joined."
"Lucy don't say that!" Mavis frowns. "Nobody blames you for that."
"To be completely and totally fair, the last group wasn't going after you." I cut in with a small frown. "They were going after Yukino. You just happened to walk out in front of some of them."
"But-"
"No buts!" Mavis growls while slamming her tiny hands on the bar. "You are not a hinderance to fairy tail. That's final."
"They're right!" Natsu grins. "Every mage in fairy tail's family. It doesn't matter what sort of trouble they get into! We'll always be right there beside em'!"
I hear rapid clanking behind me as a red-haired woman swiftly approaches the bar, she slams her gauntleted fists down on the countertop. "What happened to the guild?!"
"Phantom lord." Mavis answers as I look over my shoulder.
Erza is looking better than the last time I saw her. She has bandages wrapped around her head and around her biceps and down her forearms, the force of her slamming her hands down on the table seems to have slightly strained her, judging by the slight twitch in her expression. Instead of her normal breastplate, and full armor set, she merely wears a white overshirt and a blue skirt. She still keeps her gauntlets and grieves however.
"What?! We need to strike back-"
"Master Makarov said that we are not going to retaliate as the guild house can be replaced. His word is final. We don't have to like it, just accept it."
"W-What?!" The woman states.
"But, they aren't going to stop." Mavis states, repeating what I said earlier. "Pierce found out their plan, and they want war between Fairy Tail and Phantom lord, they just want us to strike the first 'true' blow so even if they lose, Fairy Tail can be disbanded."
"Tch- Those cowardly-"
"If they want a war, us ignoring them isn't going to stop them from provoking us, correct?" The blue haired man with bandages around his torso states as he reaches the bar.
"If I had to make an educated guess, I would say their next attempt would be beating one of our mages within an inch of their lives and hanging them up somewhere public." I announce.
Mavis frowns, stepping around the bar slowly as she goes to the center of the room.
"Attention, Fairy Tail." she calls out, silencing the hushed murmurings of the guild. "I know times might be a little... tough... right now, and you are all infuriated, but, at the end of the day, nothing that can't be replaced has been lost. The guild house can be replaced, all of the damage can be repaired... but... I don't believe this is the end of it. For the next few days, you should all group up and stay with a guild mate. Don't be by yourself after dark."
A chorus of affirmations echo out to the small girl's command as she walks back to the bar.
"So, what can I get for you? The usual?" She asks with a small smile.
"I would appreciate that." I nod once.
'I should absorb the Dark Guild Master's magic soon... I have a feeling that tonight I might just need it.'
I glance around the guild hall with a slightly bored expression. Almost everyone has left. It's quite late in the night right now.
"Pierce? You're hanging around quite a bit longer than usual today. If you keep this up, nobody will be able to walk you home." The blonde behind the counter points out as she takes a rag and slowly wipes the bar top down.
"Actually, I was contemplating that." I nod in agreement as I look over the blonde. "But then I had a thought... if I wanted Fairy Tail up in arms, frothing at the mouth, and preparing for war, and if I was an abrasive, brutish, and vaguely evil iron dragon slayer, do you know what I would do?"
The girl blinks slowly seemingly not getting where I am going with this.
"I would simply attack the one person in the guild everyone cares about... a member that hasn't shown any defensive capabilities, and one that won't be able to make a large scene when I attack them."
She stares into my eyes with a slow confused blink, seemingly not understanding who in the guild I could be talking about. "Levi?"
"I would attack... you. Someone who is practically the face and mascot of fairy tail." I finish.
She flinches slightly. "W-What?! Me?!"
"Yes. You."
"I can take care of myself! Also, I'm not an official member of fairy tail! Why would they attack me?" She questions with a slightly annoyed expression.
"Does it matter if you aren't an official member? You work here. In addition, you won't be able to defend yourself effectively..." I allow the 'if you want to keep your cover' to hang loosely at the end of my words.
The girl frowns slightly, staring at the bar blankly for a moment as she swiftly decides.
"F-Fine... you can walk me home." She quietly relents as she breaks eye contact. "But I seriously doubt they'd go for me... that's stepping over a line, dragging civilians into it. War with us is one thing, but those are genuine dark guild actions."
I silently walk alongside the shoe-less first master of fairy tail as we steadily proceed through the streets.
"So, why is it that you never wear shoes?" I mutter with some slight confusion. "Do you not worry about glass or particularly sharp rocks."
"Childhood trauma." She replies easily with a peppy hum, killing that conversational topic brutally, viciously, and without remorse. Not even bothering to comment on my rocks or glass statement "What about you? Why do you use such flowery speech all the time."
"I truly wish I didn't. I loathe the way I speak, yet I just cannot seem to break away from the habit. It's tiring to know that with each and every word, my very body translates it into something extremely wordy and bothersome." I announce with an annoyed expression as I tap my chin. "Sometimes I can quite easily shirk this habit in a slightly roundabout manner, but others, like now apparently, it intensifies. Much to my sheer annoyance."
"You do realize that you could probably just-"
I grab her suddenly and lunge to the side as a pillar of iron smashes into the ground, kicking up a spray of rocks as it creates a crater in the floor.
As I slide to a halt, Mavis carefully held in a bridal carry I freeze locking eyes with something that is genuinely a little unsettling.
A skeleton lunges towards me, eye sockets glowing a bright white light.
*Clack*
It is disassembled as my foot makes contact with its torso, scattering bones across the street that rapidly wither into ash.
"IRON DRAGON: CLUB!"
Another pillar of steel shoots at me as I twist out of the way, allowing the spire to smash into a nearby fruit cart and reduce it to shards of wood.
With a powerful leap I propel myself down the street, sliding to a halt a short distance away.
"I will give you this warning only once... if you do not leave, I will be forced to hurt you."
The black haired young adult crouched in the center of the road looks up, a glint of menace in his red eyes. "Geheheh. I'm shaking in my boots."
He lunges forwards suddenly, bringing his left hand back. "Iron dragon club!"
My right arm crosses my chest as I narrowly punch the attack around Mavis and myself, I step forwards as my elbow bends, then slam it right into the iron dragon slayer's nose.
He slides back slightly and brings a hand to his face but he lowers it a moment later, a grin on his face as he reveals that the attack did no damage.
"No damage hn? I wonder how long that'll last." I note as I look down to Mavis.
I gain a sudden ominous feeling as I whirl around, a skeleton is standing there, glowing brightly.
"Thread Make: Cocoon!" I call out as I hold out a hand.
The skeleton is wrapped in purple threads that connect to my hand. It is swung around in an instant as beams of light begin to peer through the gaps in the thread.
The Iron dragon slayer's eyes widen as the threads connecting it to my hand snap, sending the skeleton shooting off as those loose threads begin to unravel.
'I purchase one second of strength from Erza and Mirajane.'
*BOOM*
I twist suddenly and kick a shirtless figure right in the chest, using them as a springboard to propel myself through the air.
With a single backflip I land a short distance away, knees crouched.
*BANG BANG*
Two bullets freeze in the air as I slowly place Mavis back on the ground. "I would suggest running... using your magic as well. As of right now, while protecting you... I cannot use one of my arms."
The two bullets drop, clinking against the asphalt road.
The girl slowly nods, taking one step to the side, looking slightly hurt that I basically just said that she was in the way, but she doesn't press the matter.
She disappears from view a moment later, getting an annoyed huff from a mages before me. "Tch- that little runt's a mage?!"
"Of course." The other sighs.
I look across the street towards my new foe, a frown on my face, he is some form of shirtless pirate? But like, with a One Piece marine coat hanging off his shoulders. One hand is pointed towards me, a revolver in his hand.
"So... you two are Phantom Lord mages, correct?" I question idly with a small smile gracing my lips. "I'm giving you one final warning out of curtesy. If you do not back down, I will beat the two of you within an inch of your lives."
The dragon slayer across from me cracks his wrist with an overly confident grin. "Oh? You and what army? Cause the way I see it? Some fairy tail nobody that I've never heard of is facing two of Phantom Lord's strongest S class."
"The way I see it, there's a guy who becomes weaker than a kitten by stepping a foot onto a train and... a dark mage? I was vaguely certain Necromancy is illegal."
The pirate lets out a huff amusement, allowing his gun to lower, and looking to Gajeel who looks mildly miffed at my casual prod at his crippling weakness "See, even he knows how pathetic you get on public transportation."
"As for myself, it's expected for a lesser mage to not know the difference of Necromancy and my magic." He continues, looking back to me.
"Enough fuckin' talking!" The dragon slayer snarls suddenly snarls. "That little bitch is probably running through this town looking for someone to help him! Let's kick his ass and get this over with.
"Fine." The pirate sighs.
He raises his revolver and shoots another bullet as the dragon slayer rushes forwards.
My head tilts out of the way of the bullet, briefly tapping into the power of Mirajane I still have as I bring a hand a hand up and swat away the punch of the dragon slayer.
I grab the second that I had just purchased from Erza and slam a punch into the chin of the dragon slayer.
Grey scales had begun to form across his skin, but in a split second they dissipate, allowing my punch to strike the dragon slayer full force.
He is sent into a backflip as I whirl around and smash my heel into his open back.
*BANG BANG*
A grin crosses my face as two bullets strike my torso, the metal crumples underneath my shirt as they strike incredibly durable steel-like skin.
The pirate looks down at his gun then looks up. "Huh... well. That's a little unexpected."
Gajeel sits up a moment later, wiping his face as a little blood trickles down from the corner of his mouth, his red eyes glare hatefully at me. "You just pissed me off. I hope you know, ya' bastard. I'm not letting you off easy."
A glow appears around the pirate as he casts a spell.
'ah. Here we go with this bullshit. I wish my mana recovered from completing the contract...'
As it is currently, I'm sitting at around half of my total mana capacity, the only reason it is half, is because I have taken the magic capacity of the Dark Guild's master. I didn't even manage to take it all, either. I just took roughly half of his abilities...
Half of his magic capabilities as well, leaving him with some pretty potent telekinesis...
Gajeel rockets forwards, lashing out with a kick as his leg transforms into a long sword blade.
"Takeover: Dead Soul: Death Knight."
The iron dragon slayer uses the momentum of his kick to spin around and shoot another spire of iron at my torso.
I take the blow as I cross my arms, wincing as sparks scatter through the air as the attack strikes a hastily erected telekinetic barrier. My shoes skitter across the stone pathway.
I flick my wrist as I watch the dragon slayer land, his legs extend into pillars as he angles his body forwards, turning an attack that would normally spring him up into the air upon stilts into a fast-paced charge. Grey scales crisscross his body as he draws back a single fist, his hand transforming into a lengthy iron spike.
"Thread Make: Noose." I call out as I twist a hand and clench my fist, numerous purple threads which were almost unseeable create a purple rope connected to a nearby street lamp.
Gajeel lets out a gag as his body arches backwards, suddenly being yanked away from me by the spell.
I turn and catch a punch from the other phantom lord mage, he has visibly changed, blackened armor covers his body, his white captain's cloak has been transformed into a red cape, his eyes have transformed into pools of burning red.
His punch is actually fairly strong, I had to make use of my telekinesis to stop the attack in its entirety.
I land a punch to his stomach that dents the metal, in the next moment, I kick a leg out from under him , dropping him to a knee.
In the corner of my eye I see Gajeel swing an arm back and cut through the noose with a blade-like arm.
He pulls an arm back and punches forwards-
I grab the collar of the pirate turned knight and turn quickly, placing the takeover mage in between myself and the dragon slayer.
*CLANG*
He lets out grunt as a pillar of iron strikes into his back, skidding us both backwards across the street.
With a punch the takeover mage is sent flipping through the air as a spike of telekinetic energy travels along my fist, denting his armor considerably.
I'm not sure how much force to put into these punches... I don't want to kill these two. After all, Gajeel is vaguely important for the future, it's just debatable if he would ever join Fairy Tail in this world.
"Iron Dragon Club!"
I barely dodge another spire of metal- the side warbles as numerous spikes of iron appear on the side and shoot towards my chest.
They are blocked by telekinesis as I leap back.
'You know what? Fuck it. Fighting with kiddie gloves is just going to get me maimed.'
'I buy ten seconds of their magic... each.'
The pirate who was slowly sitting up widens his eyes as his takeover spell fails, the dragon slayer rushing forwards with a savage grin nearly misses a step as his body doesn't respond in the way he wants.
I raise both my hands, gripping the two mages within telekinesis.
Crossing my arms, I take the two mages and smash them into each other, then as I flick my hands downwards they smash into the road, I lift them up briefly only for them to fall for a moment as I un-clench my fists.
With a swipe of my hand I snag them both up and repeatedly smash them into the nearby walls, light poles, and road, causing cracks to cascade across the surroundings.
In the final second I hold up my other hand, causing every single piece of loose stone and rubble to raise from the ground.
With a clench of my hand, the rubble rushes inwards, smashing into the two phantom lord mages.
The rubble crunches and grinds together as my hand shakes.
With a flick of my wrist, I send the orb of rubble smashing down into the ground where it cracks open.
Two figures stand there, blood drips down their bodies, the dragon slayer's arms have fallen limp at his sides as the pirate slowly wipes his nose, smearing blood across his face.
Gajeel clenches his fists, eyebrow twitching in poorly contained rage.
He takes a deep breath, magic circle appearing in front of his face.
"IRON DRAGON..."
The pirate casts his next spell as well "Takeover: Dead Soul..."
A grin crosses my face as I let out a low hiss. "Iron dragon... ROOOOOAAAAAR!"
"Ice Wraith."
"ROAAAAAAAAAARRRRR!"
A torrent of sharp metal spews from Gajeels mouth, at the same moment, one flows from mine.
The two opposing vortexes crash into each other, sending scrap metal exploding down the road to the left and right of the clash.
With a flick of my wrist a pointed piece of stone jabs into the dragon slayer's ribs, causing him to let out a slight grunt as his breath weakens, allowing my attack to reach him and blow him down the street.
At this point, I am seriously starting to run a little low on magical power... so I need to end this swiftly.
The take over mage reappears behind me.
His form has changed yet again, his steel grey hair sticks out in all directions, ice clings to one half of his face starting at his shoulder, his arm transforms into numerous spikes of ice, giving him a monstrous looking claw of ice for a hand.
I narrowly dodge the swipe of his hand, I hold my hand out and watch as it morphs into a long straight blade.
With a swift turn I swing the metal appendage at the Undead Takeover mage, but he blocks the slash with a wall of ice that cracks, nearly snapping in half under the force of the blow.
Three lances of ice crash into my back as I wince, the iron skin underneath my shirt absorbing a fair portion of the attack, preventing me from being utterly skewered.
I punch forwards, my hand turning metallic and irony as my forearm extends, the mage before me swats away the cracked ice shield with one hand and catches the punch with a grin.
Ice begins slowly creeping down the limb.
"You are by far one of the most annoying mages I have ever fought." He announces as I retract my arm. "Also, the first one to cause this much damage to me in a long time."
He doesn't let go, so I am pulled forwards at a rapid pace, my other arm comes back as I slide to a halt in front of him.
'I buy one tenth of a second of his magic'.
His fist slams into my cheek as he is kicked out of his takeover.
His head snaps back as my punch strikes him in the center of the face, the skin covering my other arm cracks violently as I tear my arm free from his grasp, smashing the cracked appendage into the takeover mage's nose, causing large hunks of my skin to chip off, but using my frozen flesh as makeshift brass knuckles to cause even more damage
I turn, crossing my other arm across my chest as I reach out and catch a pillar of iron that was heading right for me.
My fingers dig into the metal pillar, creating dents as I lash out with a kick that knocks away the takeover mage, causing him to let out a loud grunt of pain.
With that action the last eighteen seconds of Mirajane's strength I had remaining is used in an instant.
Numerous iron spikes pierce through my hand as the dragon slayer's arm warbles slightly.
A second blunt pillar crashes into my chest, launching me back as I hear my ribs crack under the force of the attack. My telekinesis lessens the damage, but... that was the remainder of my magic.
I am sent flying through the air, blood spewing from my mouth and my busted lip as I roll through the street.
'fuck. Shit. Fuck.'
I flip to my feet as the Dragon slayer lets out a furious roar and charges forwards.
I match his shout and punch forwards as his hands become grey and steel-like.
My bloodied knuckles crack and deform slightly under the blow.
My frozen arm comes up and snaps his head to the side,
The dragon slayer seems slightly surprised as he looks back to me, a grin crosses his face, begrudging respect that is rapidly overtaken by malice forming in his blood red eyes, he has blood in between his teeth. "You're made of some pretty stern stuff, Fairy Tail fly. Gehehehe. Get ready to die."
He leaps back suddenly as a glowing sword crashes into the floor where he was moments before, a large crater forms in the road
I glance to the new entrée into the fight to see a suit of armor made of golden light, the fairy tail guild symbol is emblazoned on its chest.
A second figure, the same as the first, intercepts the dragon slayer, he raises his arms to block and lets out a shout of surprise as the swipe of the armored figure leaves a deep bleeding gash in his forearms.
Mavis stands in the middle of the road, her arms cupped in front of her chest, channeling power into to a golden magic circle that forms in between her palms, at the very center of the magic circle is a fairy tail guild symbol "Oh foes who have tread upon this peaceful place, those who have trampled our kindness and spat in our face. Let this be a lessen to those unwise, the evil within shall soon arise... Fifth Great Fairy Magic... FAIRY OMEN!"
And suddenly... there is a blinding light.
"IRON DRAGON- Ghrrk-"
"TAKE OVER: REAPER SOU- GUUAAAAH-"
A globe of white light explodes off the girl as her long blonde hair billows behind her, it washes over the transforming takeover mage, the leaping dragon slayer... and eventually even me.
The world darkens and ripples as my eyes begin to drift close.
A voice that sounds eerily similar to my own echoes out as a golden humanoid figure appears before me, snapping me back to focus.
"You look like you could use this." It announces, as suddenly a tenth of my magical power is restored.
My eyes open as the glowing light disappears, I watch Gajeel cough up a bucket's worth of blood as an X shaped slash wound appears on his chest he falls prone a moment later, completely and totally unconscious, the pirate on the other hand gasps deeply, bringing a hand to his heart, he appears merely slightly startled.
"That... won't... *Huff* work on me... I have to wrestle with the dark spirits of my magic every time I use it... that was nothing." He winces as he falls to a knee. "Damn it... what are you... there's no way you're just a simple barmaid."
My fingers twitch as I look over my body, the corners of my vision begin to darken.
'I... buy my critical wounds...'
The world stops growing dark and stabilizes as I let out a low wheeze, my ribs snap back into place as the numerous incredibly large puncture wounds in my hand seem to slightly knit up. My purchased wounds evaporate immediately in exchange for my healing.
The takeover whispers something under his breath, and suddenly.
*FLASH*
Instead of his normal appearance, a dark hooded cloak covers his body, he looks up, skull-like face paint covering his entire visage, his eyes have changed from their original silver to a burning almost ethereal green, his Scleara has gone from white to black as well.
A large scythe sits on the ground next to him.
One of the light soldiers rush forwards and swing a sword downwards at the reaper.
*CLANG*
He blocks the attack with his scythe then whirls the blade around and slams the tip into the figure's side, causing it to pierce through the armor and sink about three inches into the 'body' of the ethereal suit of fullplate.
Mavis' eyes widen at the feat, she had apparently thought that her armors where too tough for him.
The lightly impaled armor grabs the haft of the scythe as the other rockets forwards, taking its sword in both hands as it prepares to slash the takeover mage.
The inside of the armor erupts into black flame that shoots out of the helmet's eyeholes, it evaporates into yellow motes of light as the reaper whirls around and slashes completely through the next armor as the edge of his scythe is set alight, the two halves falling around him as they transform into nothing but motes of light.
He falls to his knee, letting out a tired pant, he seems to be barely hanging on.
A scaly fist smashes into the side of his head, launching him down the street with a brutal crunch.
Another figure slowly lands on the street, two large membraned wings on her back folding down and disappearing as she gazes murderously down the road.
Her white hair ruffles behind her as her scaly tail swishes in annoyance.
"You fuckin' bastards have got a lotta nerve... you're pretty unlucky that I found you in such a weakened state. You're about to see why they call me the demon woman." Mirajane within her Satan Soul transformation raises a fist at the reaper as he shakily gets to his feet. "You messed with the wrong guild and I'm about to show you why!"
His eyes stray the area as another newcomer enters the fray, a red head with bandages around her body lands atop a nearby building in her heaven's wheel armor.
He makes a split second decision, lunging for his ally, then in the next second a large skeletal hand seems to reach up from his shadow, it wraps its fingers around the two of them, and pulls them both into the earth where they seem to completely disappear.
The area he was just in is blown to smithereens by a blast of dark magic Via Mirajane as she didn't just simply stand around and let whatever he wanted to do happen, but she was slightly too slow for him.
"DAMN IT!" The white haired woman loudly curses.
Her fists clench as she seems to shake with rage. "Those fucking cowards."
"Pierce!" Mavis exclaims as she quickly rushes over, she crouches over my prone form, worry clearly on her face. "Are you alright?!"
"I'm lucky I can't feel this." I weakly reply.
Mirajane quickly approaches as I see Erza in the corner of my vision.
"Well, Newbie, I'd say you did a good job. Those fucks were on their last legs by the time I got here... just goes to show how low class those phantom pricks are... you rest up now, we'll make sure to give phantom lord a black eye just for you." The white haired woman smirks.
I can feel my consciousness waning as my eyes begin to drift down. 'my serious wounds are gone... I'm not dying... I can take a little rest, right?'
Right.
Well well well! Piercy boy here just managed to fight off TWO S class mages.
Of course, his magic is absolutely bullshit, but I'd say he did a REALLY good job.
And yet again, a new character appears. Oh boy. I wonder if this will become a theme~
