I never created Sailor Moon.
Yaten frowned and looked into the paper bag he carried by a grocery store. His eyes were on a bit of food and bandages.
He looked ahead before he wondered if he was going to cross paths with the usual villain. Sailor Iron Mouse. He thought she looked ridiculous with tiny mouse ears and a tail. Anything else? Maybe a certain cat with one blonde girl. Usagi and Luna.
''I remember Usagi introducing herself once. Then introducing Luna. I wasn't very interested,'' Yaten muttered. His frown remained after a mental image of a red-haired woman materialized. ''I'm interested in just one person. I'll find you, my princess.''
Yaten recalled his previous smile when Luna was nearby. One smile for a few seconds.
''Luna never irritated me. She wasn't loud and obnoxious like Usagi.''
Eyes were wide when Luna wandered.
Luna viewed Yaten and smiled before the latter imitated her. She was lifted and in one arm.
''Are you wandering without Usagi?''
There was a nod from Luna.
One small smile appeared on Yaten's face while he scratched Luna between the ears. His eyes widened for a moment as soon as a familiar form appeared. Yaten recognized the ridiculous mouse ears and tail. He frowned.
Sailor Iron Mouse introduced herself after one smile. ''Surrender your Star Seed,'' she said to Yaten.
Yaten's eyes were wide the minute Luna jumped and hissed at Sailor Iron Mouse. He shook his head in disbelief after Sailor Iron Mouse scowled and released one energy beam from her palm. Yaten dropped the bag when the beam struck Luna's paw. He ran to Luna when she screeched.
''Luna!'' he exclaimed. Arms were around her.
Sailor Iron Mouse looked back when she heard footsteps. She smiled after her eyes were on a small crowd.
''Plenty of Star Seeds,'' Sailor Iron Mouse said before she left.
Concerned, Yaten reached into the bag and removed the bandages. He took one and wrapped it around Luna's paw. He smiled again.
Especially after Luna purred in his arms.
