Ultraseven landed on the top of the cliff, it was vacant, there were no cars nor any people walking on the pavement. There was a full moon on the night sky. " Strange, I haven't been to this place before. Though I understand what King means by patrolling at Earth, but how can I even patrol by myself, Ultraman was at the Land of Light resting. Is there really something big happening in here?" He thought as he observed.
He noticed a car behind him, and turned around, to see what belongings does it have , but the car is locked . He stared at the back of the windshield , glancing at the picture of where Uranus and Neptune took. "Haruka, Michiru chan? Does that mean this car is theirs? Oh, I see, maybe they were not too far from this place." Seven said. " I wonder what's happening to her? Now, brother Ultraman was not by my side, I have to be cautious."
He saw a hotel at about 60 miles away from the cliff, it was two floor sized, with a lot of arch windows separated by the frames , and some balconies that were faced near the sea. " Haruka chan and Michiru chan maybe inside the hotel, but I didn't sense any danger inside. I'll take a look." Seven said as he shrunk and flew. Seven flew every room until he could see a maid and Uranus lying on the bed. " Haruka chan, who is this maid? Is she a threat?" Seven thought.
He returned to his normal human sized, landed on the roof on top of the hotel. Gently tiptoed through the gap of each brick, in order not to make a noise. He made himself a perfect landing in the balcony. With an ability of hearing through walls, he pressed his ear to the wall , hearing what's going on her room.
" Seems your fever is down." The maid said and she put the wet towel on Haruka's head, wiping the sweat on her face."
" Would you like to have room service for dinner?" She continued, but Haruka grabbed her hand, and the maid blushed.
Haruka looked at the maid and smiled. " If you bring me the dinner yourself…" The maid nodded and promised her. " Thanks, I sure am lucky to have such a pretty girl wait on me."
Seven is surprised on what she had said to the maid. " Haruka, have you forgotten about me? After everything I have done to you, I kissed you before you disappear, I even saved you from Galaxia, and this was your takeaway, girl?" His heart dropped a bit after this sentence spoken.
Haruka and the maid stared at each other for a while, as if they were like fallen in love. Then the door slammed, Seven peeked inside, and see Michiru was standing behind them. " Thank you , I'll take things over here." The maid then left the room, feeling embarrassed on what she had done. "Wow, you've came back early."
" Looks like you've gotten better."
"Yeah, but I think my fever is still around. Did you find anything?"
" I did sense an evil presence."
" Oh, sorry , I'm sick at a time like this." Haruka apologized to her. " I'm sorry to bother you."
Michiru then put the towel on her forehead, crossing her eyebrows.
" If you'd just stay asleep in bed, you wouldn't exactly ""Bother"" me."
Haruka scratched her face and tried to look up of the bed handle , trying to get away from Michiru's sight.
" Haruka chan, If Michiru wasn't with you, I probably would barge in and push the maid away from you." Seven thoughts as he relaxed his fists.
" So what category do you mean for evil presence?" Haruka asked.
" It's far different from the death busters." Michiru said as she sat down on the other side of the bed. " If it's another enemy from outside the solar system, we should be able to do something stronger."
" Different from Death Busters? Does that mean there were other villains?" Seven thought.
The eclipse disappeared from the sky, as Michiru recalled.
" But ever since that last eclipse, I've had a strange feeling…" She thought as the puppet behind her opened it's left eye and spying her.
" Something is about to happen. Is disaster threatening the earth again?" Haruka said while lying face down to the pillow, with the towel on her head.
" Is it Sailor Galaxia's doing? No…. I remembered I glanced at the maid, she doesn't have a star seed. But since this place here is kind of quiet, I got to be very careful." Seven whispered. Then he jumped from the balcony and landed on the plain grass. Glancing at the hall inside the hotel, he peeked inside the window plains , and discovered something shocking: all the people were collapsed on the tables, as if like they were poisoned, some wine were spilled on the table, some wine glasses were broken , leaving shards on the ground. "Wait, Why is there a guy sitting on the chair unharmed, and… is that a puppet? Seems like he was a person who works as a ventriloquist."
The maid screamed as she opened the front door. " Now now. How do you expect to become a fine lady if you're making such a ruckus?" The ventriloquist replied. Seven hid behind the side of the wall, " I see, so this entertainer is actually the true mastermind of the events? I have to find a way to stop his plans."
Michiru was standing outside the balcony, looking at the beautiful scenery of the seaview. Suddenly a hand is shaking, attempted to grab her behind. " Who is it?" Michiru asked and turned around. " Oh, I'm sorry." The maid said.
" Oh, I'm sorry that if I scared you." Michiru apologized also. " Was there something you wanted to do?" She continued.
" Well, the breeze from the sea is still quite cold this time for year, I thought you maybe can come inside." The maid said.
" Thank you, I'll be okay." Michiru replied, but she sensed something not right, she could feel the maid was using her hands to grab her throat, trying to suffocate her. Michiru screamed in pain as if she was trying to call for help.
Startled by the noise from the first floor, seven jumped a bit and recognized the voice. " Is that Michiru? Don't worry, I'll come to save you!" Seven said as he attempted to teleported by crossing his arms. " Damn! The teleportation can only use for once! Guess I have to do this." He said by jumping.
" What are you…." Michiru said as she looked at the maid's forehead, it has a black circle with an eclipse on top. The maid was laughing manically, without letting go of her.
In a nick of time, Seven grabbed the maid's wrists for not letting her to choke her. Michiru coughed for a few times, by catching her breath.
" Hey, what are you doing?" Michiru said as her hand was still on her throat.
" I'm Seven, do you forget about me?"
" Seven? "
" The moment when you meet me at your house, you screamed at that time."
Michiru remembered the moment when she met Seven at their house, he was hiding from her room, after he and Haruka broke up because the King expelled Seven by breaking the law of falling in love with a human.( Check my fanfic – " Truth Or Lies" for more information)
" Seven, I remembered. What brings you here? Watch out!" Michiru tried to warn him, but The maid suddenly used her full force to pull Seven .
" Tough opponent…." Seven said as he rubbed his back to wincing the pain.
" Don't kill her! The rest of the people may be controlled same as herself."
Seven then punched her in the stomach by knocking her out.
" Wow, Seven san. You really are a skilled fighter."
" It's nothing, Michiru chan."
Suddenly, there was a female voice screaming from the upper floor. Michiru immediately know the voice , it was Haruka's. "Haruka!"
" Haruka chan?" Seven looked up at the room.
" She is in danger!" Michiru quickly took her Neptune transformation wand.
" Wait, you could transform?"
" Seriously? You haven't seen me transform?" Michiru said in an unimpressed face.
" I just see you in your Sailor uniform form." Seven said.
" Neptune planet power, Make Up!" Michiru said as she transformed.
She transformed to Sailor Neptune within half a minute.
" This is my transformation." Neptune said as she brushed her hair with her hand.
" I understand now." Seven said.
Haruka was in her room, her body was tangled by the purple tentacles, she could barely move a muscle.
" Let's devour her energy!" The puppet said.
" You….." Haruka said as she grabbed her Uranus transformation wand , but her vision to the ventriloquist is starting to get blurry, she's starting to lose her consciousness. And her grip is loosen, her wand dropped to the ground.
" Itadakimasu!" The puppet said as it about to absorb Haruka's energy. As she was about to faint as her energy starting to decrease, Seven and Neptune both stood outside the window and halted the ventriloquist.
" Wait." Neptune said as she gently opened the window. " Owner of this evil aura, I don't know who you are; But I , Sailor Neptune, guarded by the god of the sea, will not tolerate such action!"
" And I , Ultraseven, will stop you from hurting this lady here!" Seven said as he pointed to the puppet and the ventriloquist.
" Well, the maid screwed up." The puppet said with disappointment.
" She wasn't very useful , was she?" The ventriloquist said.
" Let go of Haruka!" Neptune demanded.
" Stop torturing her!" Seven demanded also.
" Oh, that's not possible."
" After all, there aren't so many people with delicious energy." The puppet said.
" I see, then you shall have to fight me for it." Neptune said with determination.
" Me too." Seven said as he raised his fist.
" It may be better to listen to my story first, young lady, mister."
" Unfortunately, you two can't touch me."
" Pardon?" Neptune asked.
" The bottle I have here is called the spirit sealing bottle. Do you know what would happen if the bottle breaks?" The Ventriloquist asked as he smiled. " What happens? What happens?" The puppet responded.
" Don't tell me, there is an evil entity hidden inside?" Seven asked.
" All the shadows of the world will attack their owners." He continued and smiled at the puppet.
" Too scary, Too scary!" The puppet said.
Neptune have some bad thoughts of people being attacked by their shadows.
" You don't have any proof that the story is true." Neptune said.
" You're just talking nonsense." Seven said.
" Nor is there any proof that I'm lying." The ventriloquist said.
" Wonder which it is?"
Neptune and Seven both gripped their fists as they don't know what to do, after the ventriloquist explained to them about the consequence. Also, Seven himself has zero solution to do, even he can use his emerium ray and hit the ventriloquist, but the bottle will also broke, and his hands will lost it's grip.
" Must a tough choice to make for a heroine and a hero. Please stay put while I take her energy, A bit of movement will cause the bottle to break." The ventriloquist said and pointed at the bottle.
" Deep Submerge!" Neptune said as she fired the attack.
The ventriloquist eyes widened as he looked at the bright light almost inches near to his face, he ducked and lost his grip for the puppet, and the bottle broke on the ground. But, nothing had happened. The ventriloquist looked at Neptune in surprise, he didn't expect she can have the courage to destroy the bottle and afraid of the consequence that he said.
" So, have the shadows started to run rampant?" Neptune asked.
" Why, why did you know I was lying?" He stuttered.
" Oh. It wasn't true?" Neptune smiled.
The ventriloquist just sat there and stare at Neptune, he cannot even think of a word to say.
The purple tentacles disappeared, and released Haruka.
" Haruka chan!" Seven said as he rushed to Haruka and catch her body. She is still sweating from her fever.
" You did it just to save her, what kind of a heroine are you? "
" Oh, maybe you misunderstood." Neptune replied. " A world without Haruka is hardly worth saving."
" And that hero?" The ventriloquist pointed at Seven and gently put her body to the bed.
" Just a hero from another universe, I'm here to protect Haruka chan, we promised each other to protect each other." Seven said as he put his thumb to himself.
" His face isn't a human! How can you even befriend with him, young lady?
" I befriend him because he is so manly on how he saved me , right?" Neptune smiled as she put a hand on his shoulder.
" Yeah, that's true." Seven replied.
The ventriloquist is totally stunned by the relationship on Seven and Neptune, as if they were not from the same universe.
" Thanks to you, I feel much better…." Haruka stood up from the bed, and transformed.
" Uranus planet power, Make up!" Haruka said as she transformed.
After transforming, Uranus adjusted her Sailor uniform and looked at the ventriloquist, the ventriloquist scooted back near the wall.
" Haruka chan, Feel better now?" Seven asked.
" Seven san, I feel better." Uranus replied.
" You are in league with this hero , and you addressed him as 'san'?"
" Because he is older than me. That's simple. I'd like to return the favor." Uranus said as she locked her knuckles.
" Uranus, don't be fooled, it's the puppet that's the source of the power!"
Uranus looked at the puppet.
" I see. The puppet master was the real puppet."
The puppet sweats as could see Uranus looking it with anger.
" Now , what shall we do?" Neptune asked.
The puppet attempts to escape from those three heroes.
" World Shaking!" Uranus said as she fired her attack.
" Emerium Ray!" Seven said, a green beam also shot from his forehead.
Seven and Uranus attacks mixed, combining it to World Emerium Shaking, as the planet projectile turned to green.
The puppet then has been hit by their combined attack. " What did I return for…. I did nothing for the dead moon….." Then it was completely destroyed by the attack.
After a flash of light, the black dot on the ventriloquist's head has disappeared, so does the maid and the other guests from the hall. They completely forgot what had happened at that moment.
Seven then took Uranus and Neptune away from their hotel.
" Seven, your attack can actually combined with Haruka's?" Neptune asked.
" I was just trying to kill the puppet with her, the attacks combined suddenly." Seven said.
" I can do this by myself, Seven san. You don't have to butt in."
" I'm very mad that puppet tortured you, I have to do the right thing ." Seven replied.
" But, why are you here?"
" I was patrolling at earth, and I accidentally see your car."
" You almost scared me , If you didn't introduce yourself, I almost thought you were an ally of the maid." Neptune said.
" So, Seven san, would you stay with us?"
" I have to go back to the Land of Light, I have to report to the king on what had I done during this day."
" It's alright, Seven san. I could wait for you." Uranus said.
" If possible, you could take your brother along, I want to chat with him." Neptune said.
" What is that on your hand?" Seven asked.
" Oh, That's the piece of puppet." Uranus replied. "Could this be a new enemy?"
" Don't worry, This world's 'messiah' , are here…"
" Who?" Seven asked.
" I don't think I have to answer your question." Neptune said.
" I'm sure you know who they were, Seven san."
" I think I get the picture." Seven said as he nodded. " I know who they were. I'm sure they could handle the matters by themselves."
" Don't worry about it, trust them." Neptune replied.
" So, I think this would be the place of farewell?" Uranus asked.
" Yes. See you again soon!" Seven waved goodbye to them and he left the scene.
" Bye!" Uranus and Neptune both waved.
" I was wondering how could the maid can have such strong power by flipping my whole body? This is absurd, but whatever, got to go back to the headquarters and report to the King about what did I find today. New villain huh? Whatever, those people can handle them , I will trust them, and if they need to help, I would be for them in no time." Seven said as he flew back to the Land of Light.
