"Holy shit! Wait a minute..." My eyes find themselves drawn to Ragvir's rep increase. "Oh I'm sorry Ragvir... was I not impressive enough for your liking?! Spoiled brat with anger issues."
[Welllll he does have high morals and all that. Maybeeee blocking the exit had something to do with it?]
"I don't know why that makes me mad, but it does. I don't like how one of these things is not like the other. It makes things look weird." I give a heavy sigh and go through the rest of my rewards. I'll take a look at these and then see about my stats after.
Wall Run: Defy gravity and run up 90 degree angles... You're like spiderman, but with your feet!
Armored mode: You can activate this mode once every hour and it will make you completely immune to damage for 5 minutes. It also decreases your jump height by 10% and your running speed by 10%.
Air Dash: When you are in the air you can expel a burst of biomass and use it as a catapult. It will boost you in a direction you want, unimpeded.
"Well that is some pretty good perks right there... wait a minute?" I focus on a new entry I never seen before.
Archery 27(97%): The noble art of the bow and arrow. This makes sure your aim is almost true at it's current level and increases your damage with a bow and arrow by 27%.
"I know for certain I never picked up a bow. I mean I did Consume those archers and all, but... No way. If this works the way I think it works then that is SOOO OP! I could feel my grin about to split my face. I then called up my stats so that I can see how everything is looking for me now.

Stat points: 20
After taking a look at the spread I noticed I really noticed that huge disparity between my Magika and the rest of my stuff. "The mental stats are really making me look like a dumb brute and I am really not liking that. It honestly may be better for me to just put all my stat points into INT, WIS, and CHA for the remainder of my levels. I wonder if I can actually train those up as well before I do so. It is food for thought later on, plus I may as well crack open a history book to learn about the world at large. I doubt people will know everything and I really don't wanna be a mass murderer for knowledge."
After a little bit I end up settling on putting 10 and 10 in bothe INT and WIS to bring them up to 26 and 25 respectively. Once I confirmed it I could feel a quick burst of pain that makes me clutch my head and let out a low groan of discomfort. I dismiss the window just in time to feel a hand grab my arm. I look to see who did and then see Cleo looking at me with concern, with Ralof close behind her. I give a small smile to them and Cleo doesn't seem to be satisfied with that. "Are you okay? Don't try to wear fake smiles around me and think it will work." She chastized me and I am kinda put off because that smile wasn't fake. I was about to retort and then she continues. "While we are all grateful for what you did, whatever it was, there is always a price for such power. I know you are probably used to it since this is your own, but given what you have done today I believe it is time to take it easy." She says while pointing a finger at me with a tone that promises pain if I try to argue.
I hold up my hand and look to Ralof and then he looks at Cleo and nods to me. "Bjorn, I think you should take it easy on this walk. Cleo, and everyone else, is a bit worried for you, and those worries are only doubled from the way you just clutched your head. We have some supplies that we can use to build a sled for the bear and plenty of able men and women to pull it along. It won't go to waste, but do us a favor and just take it easy. Rest." He finished and I looked to the rest of the Stormcloaks present and a resounding of nods and praises hit my ears. Seeing I am beat I just chuckle and then drop the bear to the ground with a loud thump.
Afterwards I go take a seat and then nurse the lingering discomfort from my head. As I do Ralof and the others begin construction of the makeshift sled for the bear. It will take some time so I just sit and there and sigh. Miranda would eventually come over and sit next to me, and use her healing magic, while Ulfric follows soon after and then takes a stone to his sword that he found. The healing magic from Miranda is actually helping as a feeling of warmth and comfort washes over me. It must have been really noticeable as well when both of them begin to laugh at my expression. I raised an eyebrow and then looked between the 2 of them. "What?"
It was Miranda who spoke first, and through giggles as well as she kept up the healing. "You're like a baby when they experience healing magic for the first time~." This of course makes Ulfric bark in laughter at that, but I don't let it bother me as I just keep listening to her. "It is pretty cute... in a covered in spider guts while being a giant sorta way." Now it is my turn to laugh and then I give myself a sniff before I wince back at that.
"Damn... I need a bath." The both of them nod and I can feel Magna give a psychic nod to me as well. I knew it was bad, but for no hesitation between the 3 of them makes me feel somewhat self conscious. "Wow. You all know how to inspire confidence in a person." Which is met with more good natured laughs.
"Bjorn I think after you practically bathed in a spider's blood and guts that you really have no room to rebuttle against the obvious." Twist the knife deeper why don't you, Ulfric? "... but I think you'll be fine. I find it hard to believe that you never once felt healing magic before though." I nod at that and yeah he isn't wrong, but I have an excuse for that. The excuse of amnesia!
I give a shrug to his comment and then turn to look at him only for my head to stop and Miranda makes me look forward again. I sigh and then speak. "Well like I said I don't remember everything from who I was before. I guess that gives me a bit of a boon though when you get to experience everything good for the first time again. This makes my head feel tingly, but I haven't felt better than before this." I can feel Miranda tense at the reminder of my memories being gone and I see Ulfric out the corner of my eye nod. I decide to change the subject. "Where did you learn to heal like this Miranda? I didn't figure an archer like you would know such potent healing magic." This catches Ulfric's attention as well and I feel Miranda tense a bit more. Her heart rate even increased in a way that suggests something's wrong.
She gives a nervous chuckle under Ulfric's gaze and even I can tell he isn't trying to be intimidating, but to commoners, this is Ulfric fuckin Stormcloak. It's like being in the face of a lord/king scrutinzing you with a look. She eventually relents and then speaks with a bit of a stutter. "W-well I used to live on a farm back in Cyrodil. I had this really nice horse on the farm and I loved that horse, I named him Buttercup." She quickly adds in and I feel the smirk Ulfric has on his face at such a childish name for a beast like that. "Well one day Buttercup was out with father patrolling the treeline in search of wolves, right nasty little things, and he ended up finding a hole in the ground. Buttercup tripped and ended up causing a bad sprain on his leg and father spent the day coaxing him back to the barn. I felt so heartbroken that I ran to the temple of Mara in the nearest town and told them about what happened, but they wouldn't heal him. Our priest of Mara there was a old man who was mad at the world or something and wouldn't come out for anything except blessings, rites, and marriages." We both nodded along and then she continued, but I felt her healing spurt so she must be nearing the end of her Magika and will need to recharge. I felt her stop and my head was clear so I was assuming she was done and then she sat between us.
"I was so mad at him for just being so willing to turn me away and when he wasn't looking I noticed a spell tome for healing on the shelf. When he went to the back I may have... stolen it." Ulfric laughs at her hesitation to say that last part and I join in as well on that, to which she pouts at us both. After she smacks us both on the arms we stop after a bit and she continues. "I didn't wanna steal it, but I wanted Buttercup to run again and so when I took it I began to study the book and practiced a lot till I could use the spell right. It took me about a week to get the basics down and it was by the end of the month I was able to use it on another creature for it to work. By this time, Buttercup's leg had healed as best it could, but he had a limp and so I used it on him anyway. My father walked in when I was just about done and he winced when he heard the bone realign." She laughed as she said the last part and had a wide smile on her face. "But he was overjoyed when he saw Buttercup trot around like it was nothing. He wanted to know where I got the knowledge to use healing magic, but I wouldn't tell him and to 'punish' me, I became our farm's animal healer until I did. I never did though and I liked my new job there because I got to see all of the animals have happy faces when they were better."
Once she was done I gave her head a pat and she seemed to like that and Ulfric gave a smile, an actual one, to Miranda. "Ahhh... to be young again. You must have been 9 to 12 around that time weren't you?" She nods with a blissful smile on her face. "I knew it. The memory sounds 'fluffy', as if from the mind of a child. Plus what kind of name is Buttercup for a horse? He must have been surely embarrassed." He says with a lace of mockery in his tone. I guess he knows how to have fun with his men, that's for sure. I can appreciate a commander that does so. However, Miranda stands up and puts her hands on her hips while looking at him with a stern look.
"I'll have you know that Buttercup is a fine name for a horse, and he loved that name! I would call him and he would trot up to me and then put his head against my chest. The most noble steed, Buttercup was his title." A few eyes have turned our way and a few people were smirking at her outburst. She'll definitely be the butt of many jokes to make sure she toughens up a bit more. I already see it. "Right Bjorn?!" I look over at her to see she is now focused on me. "Oh God why me?" I can already see a few heads turn and then Ulfric gives a smirk my way and then mouths 'Right Bjorn?'
"Uhhh what is the question?" This was not the right answer and she flicks my nose. It doesn't do anything, but come on Miranda was it necessary?
"Buttercup is the best name for a horse, and possibly for a war horse too!" I now realize that my answer here is gonna affect how everyone is gonna look at me and so I choose the best option I have at my disposal. I stand up and everyone looks at me and then I look to them all and start to walk off. "Hey!" Miranda yells to me and I don't turn around.
"I will think on my answer while I go find a stream to wash myself off. Have fun you guys and I'll be back." Seeing me not stop, some of the Stormcloaks figure out I am foing the age old trick of 'Put it off and eventually they will forget' and then they all have a chorus of laughs at my expense as I head down towards the river that I can see from here. Miranda was... less than pleased and I have a feeling this is not going to end here with this.
While walking down and having some alone time I decided to have a talk with Magna on the way there. "So a question then Magna. Are you able to tell me any history about this world or will I have to find out on my own? Also my Consume power... does it auto level up skills and stuff when I consume someone? I never picked up a bow, but I am level 27, about to be 28, with it."
[Actually no, I can't give you any history on the world, but you can expect me to give advice when necessary! I'll be here to help and be a guide, as well as your quest giver too! As for your other question about Consume... well I won't answer that either. I will let you figure it out and to help you along...]

New quest
Quest name: Tell me your secrets!
You noticed something odd about your Consume power and you want to find out if your thought process is true or not. Find out the full capabilities of consume and win my super special PRIZE! :D
Objective 1: Find out the full capabilities of Consume.
Rewards: 10,000 Exp, 3 Gacha coins, ?
Accept/Decline
"My god... that reward list. This is obviously a no brainer." I immediately click accept and then I begin to think how I can figure out the capabilities of this. Well the obvious thing is to use it, but I don't know if I wanna use it on a lot of people right now. It wouldn't do for me to eat all of our potential allies, but I am sure I can maybe find bandits or something to test it on. Actually I might be able to use it on whatever is in the dungeons I can make. I'll test it when we fall asleep tonight... actually maybe after we go to Whiterun. Ulfric may trust me, but he is a good leader from what I seen. This means that he is probably gonna have people watching me as well since regardless I am still an unknown. One battle isn't gonna cut it, so I will have to earn trust by being reliable and loyal. Who knows, when all this is over I may end up rewarded with some land and stuff. Perhaps a settlement that I am the lord of. I can see that.
I continue on to the river and when I get there I have some more chats with Magna, while I clean, and she tells me a lot about her previous user "TouchMe". Apparently she hated him a lot and when she would try to do her job and help him or give advice he would immediately shut her up or mentally screech at her like a petulant child. I feel really bad for her and I understand why she is forgetting things to tell me about, it is cause she isn't used to being allowed to do so anymore. When I had finished cleaning off I then went back to the group and on the way there I assured Magna that she and I are partners and I will be happy to wait for her to get used to all of this again. I could feel how happy she was to hear me say all this with her and she even gave me a +3 to my CHA for all of it, which made me laugh pretty hard on the way.
Once I made it back to the group I saw they were done with the sled for the bear and were trying to lift it on the sled. I seen them struggle, but they eventually got it on there and I whistled to get their attention. When they seen me they waved and Ulfric, Miranda, Cleo, and Ralof waved me to them. "We moving out?" I asked on my approach.
Ulfric was the first to speak. "Yes. I plan for us to make the journey to Riverwood, by the afternoon at best and tomorrow morning at worse. Regardless we will camp outside of the town, while Ralof goes inside to Gerdur. It is in my hope to send a messenger to Balgruuf in Whiterun, before just marching in. Balgruuf is in a position where he can't pick a side in this war willy nilly. Markarth is above him and Falkreath is below him, and Riverwood is in initial strike range of Falkreath." I nod, even though those names of... archers remember them being called 'holds'... currently mean nothing. I just know from the memories of the archers that Falkreath is on the side of the Empire; so that means it is safe to assume that Markarth is undecided, or is Stormcloak allied. I continue to pay attention and then see a Stormcloak bring over a map that was taken from Helgen. Once it is spread out Ulfric points. "Currently, we are around here." He then traces his finger along a trail and then stops at another point. "This is where we are going to go. This spot here is Riverwood and I want to place our camp..." He points to another spot, which looks to be near Riverwood, hidden and off the main road. "... here."
I nod and Miranda then pipes up while she looks at the map with them. "Why don't we just all go into Riverwood? Surely it would be better to do that right? I don't mind the forests, but what is the reason?"
Before Ulfric could speak I give an example. "When you thought the Stormcloaks were evil, and were the enemy, how would you have reacted if you saw a group this big casually walk over your land and then demand housing?" She looks at me for a moment and then mouths 'Oh'. I nod and Ulfric nods to that as well.
"Correct... right now we are in a neutral territory in a land that is dominated on both sides by a war. I wouldn't be surprised if Balgruuf would hear that I am here, unannounced, and think that this is simply the first strike force of a much larger army." Miranda, now fully understanding, nods and then grabs her longbow and places it over her shoulder. I felt something crawl along my foot and looked down to kick a large centipede off of it and returned my attention to Ulfric. He looked at me and then began to go over the prison robes and hood I was wearing and then scowled at it. "When we get to the town of Riverwood, I will give you some money to go into town with Ralof. I managed to take a bit from the soldiers in there, with the help of my men, and then you are to buy yourself... something better than that. I can't have someone I take with me dressed like this and meeting another Jarl eventually in the coming days." I awkwardly laugh and then scratch my head as I look at myself. I mentally call up my Inventory and see that I have no money in there either. Guess I gotta loot people to do this, or maybe the Dungeons have a feature to gain money from kills or something?... Nothing! Great guess I'll figure it out when I get to it.
"Sounds like a plan Jarl Ulfric. Do you need me to do anything before we begin the march?" He raises his hand and shakes his head.
"No Bjorn, you've done enough for today. Just enjoy the walk and your freedom like the rest of us." I nod and begin to get ready for the walk to Riverwood, while Ulfric goes to address everyone. "AHEM! Alright brothers and sisters, we have made it outta that Oblivion damned city, but we are not out of the woods yet!" Did he just? "We will be heading along the path to Riverwood and we will make camp about a 20 minute walk away from it. Right now we have plenty of light, but a long way to travel. Let us make haste! March!" He then turns his way to Ralof, Miranda, and I as we all walked with him along the path to Riverwood.
Ralof POV (6 hours into the March)
Riverwood... I haven't been there for some time now. I know Jarl Balgruufs men are capable and all to handle the stray bandit raid, or a few animal attacks, but still I can't help but worry about Gerdur. She always was a strong girl though so I know someone would be hard pressed to get the best of her, and Hod throws logs all day. I remember when he and I got into a arguement and we came to blows. I nursed my jaw for weeks after that. My nephew Frodnar should be there as well. I wonder how much the boy has grown now, won't be long before he joins the fight if it continues to brew between the holds here.
Either way I have a lot in Riverwood to worry about and I don't think anyone would blame me either. I did see us pass by the Standing Stones too. Bjorn went straight for the Warrior Stone, ha, not surprising from what I seen from him so far. Miranda went to the Mage Stone, however, and given her potential with healing magic I couldn't blame her. She is an exceptional shot with a bow as well. Not much improvement needed right there. I asked her how she got so good and she told me that her Father took her hunting a lot and she picked it up from there. Eyes like hers are one of a kind, it's like she was blessed by the gods with how well she places her shots.
Bjorn, however, I don't know what to make of him. I trust him with my life right now, especially after he helped us escape Helgen, but it is strange to see him fight and move. It's almost like watching a dangerous predator ruthlessly dispatch his food. To top it off, well, WE also count as his food, but even if we were to fight him should he turn on us out of hunger, I don't see us winning that. He fought the World Eater himself and lived to tell the tale, and THAT is no small feat. I can see Jarl Ulfric giving him a king's ransom to keep him on our side. Just from today, even if the Jarl doesn't fully trust him or not isn't a factor, he'll live life comfortably. Course I can see where one of his weaknesses lie. She is actually clamped to his side right now as she surveys the area. It is funny to see Miranda act that way, I have never seen such a possessive woman before. Bjorn may have his work cut for him in that.
Miranda POV (6 hours into the March)
I started today out feeling nothing but dread and anxiety, but now? Now I feel like I am on top of the world. I found a place that will keep me safe and I got a good look at the Empire for what it truly is. I'm honestly glad those soldiers are dead. I hope the imperials in Helgen never made it out either and died burning in the streets from Alduin! Speaking of him, I never felt such a need to punch something, yet run from it at the same time. I really don't know what happened back there, but I REALLY hope it doesn't become a regular thing.
Either way though, I made it out and now I have someone to teach me to fight and help me get my family out of the Empire should I get the chance! This is a new start for me and I am not letting this chance slip away! Plus I think I need to show how grateful I am and what is more of a show than being useful? He may be able to heal himself and all, but it has to have a limit from what I, and the others saw. He seemed to relax when I used my magic and the Mage Stone should help me increase it's potents as well. No more headaches for Bjorn after today, and I bet me and Cleo will make sure he doesn't push himself either like he did today. He will be normal strength and speed for the remainder of the day, AND when we are not in combat. Speaking of that I see smoke from chimneys or a smithy in the distance. We might be making camp soon and then Ralof, Bjorn, and I will be heading into town to send a runner to the Jarl in Whiterun.
I hope it all works out...
Ulfric POV (6 hours into the March)
I can, without a shadow of doubt, say that today has been by far the most interesting and promising day of my life, but equally my most horrid. Alduin, The World Eater, has returned and that means that we will all be doomed if we stay divided. I watched him call fire from the heavens with his roar and then single handedly raze a city to the ground. This is by far the most troubling of the events, however, a silver lining of this is that I have information on some of his capabilities. We can use that against the World Eater, and maybe hold against him. I only hope that Balgruuf would be open to talking. To unite the holds I will need him on this.
Then there is the part of the day that makes it so interesting to me. I found, potentially, Skyrim's greatest asset and he has given me his loyalty. I find it fishy, but all of his points to keep loyalty are sound and I can see he isn't lying about the memories. If this ensures his loyalty for eternity then I will move mountains to accomplish this. Bjorn has shown capabilities that I have never once seen and some of these are so unknown to me I would have sworn he was a Daedra with evil intent, yet I find nothing on that. There is a whispered word in the Thu'um that susses out betrayal and intentions that I used on him before our talk. Call me paranoid, but when the World Eater gets choked out by a man a whole 2 feet taller than you, you prepare for anything. All of his words to me were mostly true. He has no memories and his abilities check out, he was a soldier, but he does know what he is. Normally I would have pressed, but I see that he will reveal more in time. It was hearing how he will be loyal to me and fight for me that I found out to be true, which sealed it for me. I plan on returning such loyalty with rewards that he would never have imagined.
I can see the smoke of the chimneys and smithy of Riverwood and I have everyone begin setting up the camp. We took ink and parchement from the Barracks and I will begin writing a letter to Balgruuf and once it is complete I will have Ralof deliver it to one of the guards of Riverwood. They will hear I am here and then immediately mount onto horseback and go. They would be idiots not too. After I finished the letter I signed it and then packed it up, I used a Seal of Helgen to wax it shut. At this point I hear everyone outside and then I can smell the familiar scent of Bear being cooked. Good. I am starving. I walk out and am greeted with the sight of all of them roaring happily around a fire and downing bottles of mead Gregor had snatched from the supply room. This makes me smile. This right here. Merriment of my men and the feeling of no more worries in the world. I will savor this tonight.
Bjorn POV (Next day)
The Gamer has slept for 8 hours! All ailments, status effects, HP, MP, and STA healed and returned to full.
I awoke after my trip into Riverwood. I went into the town with Ralof, and Miranda, and he had found his sister easy enough. We managed to cause quite the commotion, or I did at least. Not everyday you see a 7 foot giant with long red hair and blue and green eyes. They almost immediately began to monitor me and I saw that this could be a problem, and a boon. I can shapeshift into others and they will never suspect me. They'll see it as me being the most memorable man they have laid eyes on and I will be clear from a lot of stuff. Well actually I can only hope that is true. Magic can do a lot of shit.
After we were then kept under watch for awhile I eventually made my way to a seamstress here and she looked like I was her future gold mine. It was a bit uncomfortable and I was honestly willing to find somewhere else, but Mirand blocked the exit and then pointed at the woman. I knew she wanted me to do so and I could only fear for Ulfric's finances if this woman is gonna be doing this. Her hunger in her eyes was predatory at the time, but I at least was able to walk away with 20 of the 150 gold! I really think she overcharged, but Ulfric told me to keep the gold and that he had enough back in Windhelm.
She had used magic on me and now I have some finely tailored clothes that sowed themselves around my body. They come off easily and they breathe really nice as well. The best part is that since I am wearing it, my biomass repairs it and I found I can switch between this and my old outfit, even though it was just rags. Either way I found a nice spot in the camp and was woken up by Ralof walking into the camp.
"Jarl Ulfric!" He yelled as he walked into the camp and eventually Ulfric walked out to see him. Ulfric looked a lot better than he did yesterday. Definitely must have washed in the river before he went to sleep last night. He walked up to Ralof and then he handed the Ulfric a letter. Ulfric took it and inspected it closely and then I seen him smile. He opened it without anymore hesitation and began to read it.
After what felt like hours he then lowered the letter down and then grabbed his axe from his tent. He then turned to addess the men. "Alright, everyone! Make preperations and begin breaking down the camp! I, Ralof, Miranda, and Bjorn will be going ahead of you all. Make your way to Whiterun and we will all see you there! Best behavior from all of you as well! We are meeting with the Jarl!" Everyone gave a small cheer and then began to get to work. Ulfric then looked over to Miranda and me and waved us to follow. Looks like we're making some progress after all!

Author's Note:
Hey guys I am so glad for all the positive replies and reviews. Like I said I would I had spent all morning on this chapter and it is time for lunch for me! Gonna grab a bite and see about Chapter 6! Things look to be going forward and I am sure now you all realize as well that this is gonna be a slow burn story, with great action when it happens. I can't wait to continue this and I hope you all have a great day!
Holosagewolf32: Fifth chapter NOW! *Pats the Chibi wolf*
Shadowpanther93: Thanks! This is my goal to provide a fun story that I and all of you have fun reading!
Kingh: Glad you enjoy it!
Donbasos: Me too bro. I loved Prototye and it is a shame 3 won't be a thing. Hopefully one day!
CryWolfSeven: I actually PM'd them on why he was so tall and to reiterate why he is for the rest of you... I just like abnormally tall characters, but after looking at the fact that he was dead I can see him being that big on a subconscious whim. See as a species we tend to not buck up and challenge things that are bigger than us by a lot. So he could have subconsciously done so out of wanting to be weirdly safer since no one will want to fight the giant. We all know that isn't the case considering the companions and giants XD
Arraire: Thanks! I hope you enjoy this chapter and story!
