A four-part existential horror story set in the Mass Effect universe about a group of Alliance marines stranded on a mysterious, uncharted planet. My attempt at a H.P. Lovecraft-style tale.

What would happen if three races in Mass Effect were forced to live together on one planet? Well, this will sort of provide an answer of what would happen if aliens had lived on the same planet as Humans. In this grindhouse Sci-Fi, you shall get your answer.

The past had shackled Jack and Miranda to paths of isolation for most of their lives. Commander Shepard changed that. She changed them. As the Reaper War reaches its epic conclusion, Shepard's critical condition causes Jack's and Miranda's paths to converge. For so long they had walked alone, but perhaps this time they didn't need to. Perhaps together they could find their normal.

Post Reapers. Post Destroy Ending. Shepard has survived the Crucible, but remembers nothing from the hunt for Saren onwards. The Alliance wants her to remember - so they say; but something seems off to her. Meanwhile Primarch Victus is dealing with a despondent Vakarian. Takes place after ME3. One-shot. Spoilers for ME3 and the Pinnacle Station DLC from ME1. After choosing to destroy the Reapers and recovering from her wounds, Commander Shepard tries to escape from what happened by isolating herself. A certain turian, however, will always be there for her.

Miranda was given the goal to revive Shepard through Project Lazarus, but that wasn't all. Alongside that she was given another project. While Lazarus would revive a fallen hero this new project would create the ultimate weapon of war. A perfect soldier, a Universal Soldier.

Humanity is no stranger to war. For thousands of years, human fought human, and once we reached for the stars, it was no different. Shepard chose to destroy Sovereign. The Council then declared war on the SA for that betrayal. The Humans tried to fight but it was a losing battle. Subjugation leading to extinction was not acceptable for making the hard military decision so the Humans chose another path and made a deal with the Reapers. The galaxy and the Cycle would never be the same. AU Eternity beckons.

Humanity has long thought of themselves as the only intelligent species left in the galaxy. With the only knowledge that we have of aliens existing being the ruins and clues that they left behind. Today humanity is threatened by an enemy that met our wish of coexistence with death and destruction. We will have to unite if we expect to defeat this threat or hope will soon be lost.
