This is just my idea of how Merlin's life was while he was waiting for Arthur to return. Mostly set in modern times with some flashbacks. No slash just bromance.

They were never going to be the same people they were before. And maybe that was okay, as long as Arthur could see Merlin's smile again. But Merlin leaves, Morgause attacks, and kingdoms fall. Though the title of High King has long been abandoned, it has not been forgotten.

Six months have passed, and there have been many changes within Camelot's borders. Will Arthur be able to identify the latest threat within good time? Or will Camelot fall to Morgana and Morgause? Sequel to 'Nightmares' and 'Reality.'

When Merlin is seriously injured following a bandit attack, Arthur tries to distract himself by reading some letters he finds in Merlin's bedroom. Belonging between Merlin and Hunith. Arthur finds that he discovers a lot more than he bargained for ...

"You will pay for this Merlin! I have not lost yet, you will lose who you love most, of this I promise!" Morgana's threat hangs over Merlin/Freya's heads as she sends them and Arthur/Gwen to the future. Merlin finds that he must fight a battle on a new front to protect the ones he loves most. (This is set after fourth season, but as though fifth season never happened.) COMPLETE!

Arthur discovers Merlin's magic. He doesn't care. However, Uther on the other hand... Pre-season 3, character death. Can be Merthur if you see it as such (I do!), but otherwise Gen/Bromance. One-shot.

Where December 1st is Arthur's least favorite day of the year, Merlin is determined to make "Christmas" the decor of choice, and there is much merry to be made and fluff to be had.

Following a hiatus, Arthur Pendragon returns to the music studio to record his fourth album.Over the years, Arthur has been through many interviews and has read several reviews, but the one journalist that catches his eye is the young Merlin Emrys. Arthur wants to release a documentary and calls on Merlin to help. Through the journey, some unexpected surprises come their way.

So just an average patrol round Camelot, but a conversation goes on to reveal more than expected for Arthur and the knights

After losing Freya, Arthur, and then everyone else he ever cared about, Merlin wants nothing more than to live a life of solitude until Arthur returns. His plans never did go as expected, though. And the pain he feels once more just might be worth it when Arthur returns and reminds him why he waited so long in the first place. "Merlin, you clotpole."

Merlin and Arthur have been together since high school and now Arthur thinks it is time to take the next step in their relationship, marriage. The only thing is that Arthur is a little nervous about whether or not Merlin will say yes. But he plans to make it unforgettable for Merlin. (There is a sex scene! BxB! Just WARNING!)

Morgana finds out Merlin has magic and terrible things are about to happen. Merlin knows there is a sense of doom soon to come and goes back in time to try and save Morgana, his destiny, his love, and his friend

Arthur orders Merlin to clean a neglected Excalibur, and they both discover an added benefit of their bond with the sword. MERTHUR, SLASH, PRETTY MUCH A PWP (but no Gwen bashing).

When Merlin accompanies Arthur on the annual summer quest, things don't go as planned. Arthur starts to realise that his manservant is more than just a manservant to him, and Merlin finds reason to hope that Arthur may return his feelings after all. Merthur. Happy ending.

As the time of peace draws to an end, the time for Arthur and the time for Merlin is coming faster than either know it.

A story about Gwen and Arthur, set in an alternative universe reminiscent of early- to mid-19th century England.
