This is a sequel to 'Surprise on Christmas Morning.' When Arthur drops Merlin off at work before going himself both of them think today is just another day. How wrong they were.

When you're nine, the worst part of being executed for your magic in Camelot is the fact that you'll never see your mom again. Merlin's dream comes true when he gets to visit Camelot during a tournament. Then he accidentally lets Prince Arthur know he can do magic. Let the adventure begin.

This is the fifth of a collection of Arthur/Gwen ficlets/drabbles written for AG Fics. This collection has different eras of time: 20's, 30's, 40's 60's 70's and late 80's to early 90's. I love writing different eras, the challenge of lingo etc. Hope you enjoy. Feedback's lovely.

Just your standard fairy tale where a young lad sets out on a great journey in search of adventure, treasure, and love! Except, oh yeah, this young lad thinks his treasure is a human being (said princely human being has quite a few divergent opinions on the subject) and our protagonist just happens to be a troll. There might be one or two twists to this ending... Slash.

Merlin was an unusual sort of thief; he stole other people's pain with just a touch of his hand. Not fun, but everything was under control. That is, until he met the boy who just wanted to make it stop hurting.

Merlin arrives in Camelot to escape his abusive Father Balinor. Uncle Gaius helps takes him into his home and helps him to find work in the castle and as fate would have Merlin stumbles into his destiny.(This is an alternate view on Balinor and how Merlin came to Camelot.)

Arthur loves Merlin, and would do anything, change anything to get him to reciprocate his feelings, including his eating habits. If only it will make Merlin love him... Merthur, fluff and slash. Rated T (to be on the safe side)
