Rumi wasn't really sure about what she had witnessed a moment prior.

In one hand, she was impressed. She would be lying if she didn't find one shotting a giant built purely out of muscle to be impressive. But in another hand, she was scared and anxious.

And we're still talking about the same Mirko here.

She absolutely loved to fight and beat villains, hard. But the bleak future the screen has shown to her and the others had caused her to briefly look at her past's decision.

Have she become a good enough hero? Have she did her duty well enough?

Before she could reach to a conclusion, the screen turns on once again, causing everyone's attention to focus at it.

The viewing started with a much more chaotic opening.

"RAAAHHHH!"

A undescribable man was shown holding some sort of guns with both of his hands. The buzzing noises echoed throughout the room as he kee blazing at something.

"A nail gun support gear...?"

'It's me now?' Endeavour idly thought.

Behind a large pillar that was currently being assaulted by the nail gun, there stood Endeavour's giant figure. However, from the effect that the nail caused, it was clear to him that it was no normal nail guns.

'But it was overtuned for extreme capabilities! Damnit, it was Detnerat!' In fear of getting the pillar collapsed, Endeavour leaped towards open ground and instantly used one of his technique to subdue the escapee.

'Ignited Arrow!'

"Gah!"

The flame of the arrow wasn't strong enough to seriously harm the escapee, but it was enough to knock him unto his butt and gasps for air. Endeavour didn't stop only on there as he began to take down the other villains who got caught off guard by their friend's defeat.

"Gah! Gimme a break! You're the reason we're even out, Endeavour!"

"And that's why I am here." Endeavour simply said before taking the downed enemies with him and wait for the authority to arrest them.

'Still taking from me, huh. Enji.' Toshinori couldn't help but smile at his friend's stubbornness. Even after he changed, he will keep trying to surpass him.

The scene changed, showing Endeavour who just landed near a sleek, armored sport car with Beast Jeanist and Hawks on there.

"More escaped convicts?" Jeanist asked, "But none are affiliated with him, I presume..."

Endeavour could only nod and grunt. Dealing with all these decoys All for One and Shigaraki has released was getting more frustrating and tiring for them, and he didn't even start to mention about the arms and gears they gave to these people.

The lack of manpower and public's constant pressure aren't helping in the slightest either. But alas, what exactly he can do anyway? At the very least, they could help easing the burden on Deku's shoulders by doing this.

Even from other perspective they currently seeing, the situation remained bleak as if they're completely hopeless and in the edge of losing. The worries in the heroes' heart and the anxiety in the students' heart grew even more bigger than before.

Suddenly, a stray pipe clattered near Enji's feat, causing him to snap out of his thoughts and turn at where it came from. A cluster of civilian crowd were looking at them with wary look and anger. Some were holding a banners with "We don't need Heroes!" written on it while the other are busy throwing pebbles and trash at him.

"Get outta here, you scum!" One of them shouted with hatrred drippung from her words.

"W-what are they doing?" Momo asked with confused look, unable to understand why are they trying to harm the people that protects them.

The other's reactions were not farfetched from her. They are confused and scared at the display of hate the heroes in the screen received. Most of the pro-heroes were either grimaced or utterly shocked to the core.

"All of the hero industry dark secret were revealed in the war." Noth suddenly says, calmly explaining to them while watching the screen with neutral look, "Endeavour who was already pretty disliked received a severe backlash after his family's secret was revealed. And then they completely lost their trust as the corruption and atrocities by hero commission was unraveled."

Endeavour simply let his head fell upon hearing that. It was understandable, he suppose. He had done many horrible things to his own family and he figured out that being hated is the least punishment he could get for his sins.

But he doesn't want the other, especially these heroes in training got involved and are being blamed for his fault. It was his sin, so why does everyone have to endure it too?

"If only you have done your job properly and hadn't let Shigaraki and his people get away, then we wouldn't be dealing with all these convicts!" An elder scowled as he cursed him.

Endeavour silently stared at him, face neutral and betrays no emotion as they continued.

"We should go, Endeavour." Hawks said, seeing that it would do no good for them if they stays in here.

"Those media folks said..." Suddenly, another one joined in, "That Shigaraki was supposedly after someone else besides you people! Which means you all are still hiding something from us!"

The violence and protest intensifies as stary cans and trash are being thrown all over the place. Hatred, anxiety and anger were blazing in their eyes as they condemned him and the rest of the heroes.

"COWARDS!"

"DID YOU EVEN FEEL SORRY FOR THE VICTIM DABI HAS BURNED TO ASH!"

"GET OUT OF HERE!"

"SEEING YOU JUST DISGUST ME AND MAKE US FELT HOPELESS ALL OVER AGAIN!"

"GIVE THAT PERSON SHIGARAKI WAS LOOKING TO HIM SO ALL OF THIS CAN FINALLY END!"

The heroes in training were practically shaking in their seats at the cruelty those civilians displayed. How could they cursed those who saved them with so much hatred like that? How could they think to throw the one who saved them, Deku, into the pit of sharks like that?

Is this the people they're trying to protect?

'Human, when they're being cornered, will do the most atrocious thing to keep themselves safe.' Aizawa thought as he looked down in sadness.

"L-Lemillion-san... I-I don't want to watch this...!" Eri whispered as she buried her face into the blond's embrace. Kota soon joined in as he hugged Mandalay in fear.

Unfortunately, Eri's words were still able to be heard by everyone in the room and only caused their heart to hurts more. As if being stabbed with a salt coated spear and sliced with thousand slices.

The one who transported them to this place may seems expressionless at the outside. But from the inside, he was grinning from ear to ear.

'Good. Good. Doubt has been planted in their heart. Now let see whether they remains true to their principles or will succumb and give up.' He thought.

I, the narrator, Narra, could only scowl in disgust at him. But alas, he was the delusional author that creates me and made me love him, against my deepest will. What a sad lonely loser he was.

"Yes, I see. Please keep up your search for the liberation front, Edgeshot. And thank you for your effort." Hawks said to the other line of the call, presumably the Ninja hero, Edgeshot.

"Still no progress, huh?" Jeanist commented while driving the car.

"Hm." Hawks grunted before glancing at Endeavour at the backseat, "What about All Might and Midoriya?"

Endeavour shook his head regretfully, "After our encounter with Lady Nagant, All Might has lost contact with him and only heard about him whenever he made himself known."

'So, the boy has met me?'

"Well, that was concerning..."

"At the very least, he wouldn't need to face the civilians' hatred at us. I heard that he always disappeared from the scene without saying anything or stopping." Jeanist said, eyes still at the road ahead.

"He had carried a lot of burden and pressure in his shoulders already. That was honestly good for him. Facing the stray escapees and public media is the least thing we could do to help him." Endeavour finalized with determination in his eyes.

'No matter how hard we're being condemned and hated by them, it was still our job to protect people from any danger. That was our responsibilities from the very day we decided to dedicate our life to become a hero. And I... no, we will push forward to be a hero.' He thought to himself before settling into silence.

Toshinori couldn't help but smiles with pride at how much his friend has changed. The old, vengeful and cruel Endeavour was nowhere to be found in that man in the screen, replaced by an admirable person who will face his punishment without flinching.

Shouto himself was conflicted about this. In one hand, his traumatic memory and his love for his mother has caused him to feels distrustful at what he said. But in another, he could see the very same person in this room was also in his way to become the person in the screen.

He... Genuinely want to see his old man to be a better man.

Meanwhile, Enji could only look with envy and slight pride at his counterpart. Though, he promised to surpass that future version of him so that no one would be hurts anymore.

The scene suddenly changed, showing the rooftop of a unremarkable office building before a lone figure was revealed on there.

There was Deku who looked much more better than the one they have seen at the beginning. His face lacked the ugly scar and his hero costume was in a better condition despite being slightly dirty.

"Huh?"

"Wait, is this supposed to be a flashback?" Itsuka asked at Noth.

"Yes. This part will shows his fight against Lady Nagant."

Instantly, the attention from those who knew about Lady Nagant fell unto the said woman with an exotic hair color. But she pays them no mind as her interest began to increase at the mention of her name.

He was currently sitting on the ledge of building, silently eating the katsu from his bento meal while looking at the city.

'That was my pork katsu!' Inko quickly recognized the food she would cook for her baby son and began to tears up again.

Suddenly, the katsu he was about to eat disappeared from his chopstick as something blindingly fast pierced it.

"My katsu..." He could only mutters lowly upon seeing his favorite meal being butchered in front of him.

But he didn't have enough time to ponder it more as a voice suddenly came out of the strange bullet.

"Hey, you. Boy in green..." His eyes widened slightly as the tension began to build up, "You're coming with me."

'Someone's here for me! They're not just a random villain... They're specifically here for me!'

Izuku instantly entered an alert mode upon registering the weigh of his current situation. Determined look painted his face before it was being covered by his mask.

'A hired gun... Finally someone with ties to him!'

He neatly placed the bento box before securing it away.

'Here we go!'

Rain began to pur down heavily as the perspective peered away toward a new place, revealing a figure of beautiful woman with a sniper rifle shaped hand.

'It was that lady!' Those who were not aware about her identity instantly reached a conclusion and began to look at her in wary, but Nagant paid them no mind as she keep her attention at the screen.

After seeing his past, Nagant couldn't help but want to know what is the result of this fight. Will he stayed true to his path if she revealed her sins there? He probably will judging from how he keep risking himself in the middle of war-torn city.

But she was still curious and actually dying to know how their meetings will play out. After all, it was all for her own sake. Wi he be able to save her counterpart in the screen or will he fail.

"Come quietly, and you get to keep your limbs." Thunder instantly roared angrily, seemingly signifying the showdown that was about to happen between the two of them.
