Everyone looked above and they finally saw a floating ship above them. The kids got terrified on it and the warriors of the Cast prepared themselves.
"Wait, wait! That ship won't hurt you all!" The figure said.
"Huh?! Then why it looks menacing?!" Garfiel asked.
"I can feel the menacing vibes from there too. But as if... it is someone's pure love towards one." Ferris said.
"Someone who emanates a menacing type of pure love? Who does have that kind of aura?!" Garfiel angrily asked.
"Yeah, yeah! I agree!" Mildo cried.
"And who are you, by the way?" Crusch asked.
"Uhm... For the kids out here, please don't be afraid of my looks. I wish I can use my human body in here but I can't. Damn restrictions." The figure said as he removes his robe and his true body has been revealed to everyone.
"Wha..." Al uttered.
"An undead! Mommy!" Mildo cried.
"Hey! He said don't be scared, Mildo!" Dyne yelled.
"What the hell is that body?!" Priscilla asked.
"A living... skull? Yikes!" Otto cried.
"Hey! Why do you look intimidating, huh?!" Garfiel angrily asked.
"I know. I apologize for this. Anyway, I am the new god who will join you all. My name's Ainz Ooal Gown." The new god named Ainz said.
"Ainz Ooal Gown...?" Rem asked.
"You have a nice wand there, mister skull head!" Old Man Rom yelled.
"O-Oh? Thank you." Ainz said.
'He acts like a normal human for us.' Some thought.
"Anyway, have they decided to bring them down here or what?" Tanya asked.
"Oh? You mean these people? I think not yet." Ainz whispered.
"Why though? I thought they'll meet Subaru for the first time and from here?" Kazuma whispered.
"It is because... Satella wants to see their reaction on a gore scene later on and to know which people do feel sorry and do care for Subaru when they can't save him on that event." Ainz said.
"So that woman again decides on his own..." Tanya angrily uttered.
"When will they meet Subaru and the others?" Naofumi whispered.
"In the second part of this season. Since this first half is a mean one for others, the second part is the best for them to meet Subaru and for them to understand more on Emilia." Ainz said.
"I see. Another delayed reunion for these people, huh?" Naofumi said.
"But now they've seen the ship, how we will explain it?" Kazuma asked.
"I got this-" Tanya was stopped by Ainz who raised his wand on the ship.
"Now go! You've done your job, Pleiades. Go!" Ainz commanded and the ship disappeared. But in reality, the ship turned invisible in everyone's sights.
"Huh?! Did he just..." Subaru asked.
"To prevent us from meeting your friends down below. It isn't time yet for their reunion, right, Satella?" Halibel asked about the unknown woman who turns to be Satella said.
"Yes. And to have more time with Subaru." Satella said with her usual stare at Subaru and clings on to him.
"Hehe... I see... Since you did us a favor on defeating Pandora after what she tried to do with my parents back there." Subaru said.
"Teehee. I love you. I love you-" Satella was stopped by Halibel who put wasabi on her mouth.
"Ainz told me to put this when you start the road-long speech of "I Love You's" on Subaru." Halibel chuckled and Satella pouted at him, which made everyone laugh.
'He acted that the ship was his combat maids, the Pleiades. What a clever guy.' Tanya thought.
"Wait! They disappeared?! Who are those?" Kadomon asked.
"They're just my Combat Maids, the Pleiades. They gave me a ride here so that I won't get tired of traveling here. Anyway, I shall use my human voice, I suppose?" Ainz asked.
"Go ahead. So that we can start the next episode." Tanya said and Ainz used some magic on his throat to change his voice into his human voice.
"There! I'm good!" Ainz said in his human voice.
"Eh?! You sound like a teenager!" Emilia said.
"Right? We shall start the next episode now!" Ainz said.
"Yeah!" Everyone replied.
"I thought it was Subaru-kun..." Rem sadly uttered.
"I was starting to wonder if you'd arrive before I became an old granny." Ram said.
"You're Otto's helper?" Subaru asked.
"Calling me a "helper" makes it sound as if we're equals. I am an attendant." Ram said.
"You're talking like you're a witch's familiar or something..." Subaru said and looked at Otto who looked away as well.
"My orders from Roswaal-sama were to assist you. It was my own decision to seek out Otto to meet that end." Ram said.
"So he measured up to your standards?" Subaru asked.
"I just thought if there was no one I could handily use, you would end up dying in vain." Ram said.
"Nice! Otto is good at acting like a bush!" Anastasia said.
"Eh?! I guess that's the best option left for me not to get caught?" Otto cried.
"You pesky bastards..." Garfiel uttered.
"We haven't unlocked their thoughts of what really happened to the future. Especially that they didn't notice that there are two Ryuzus in here as well." Naofumi whispered.
"Yes. To prevent them spoiling some minor details, we erased and let them forget some details and information they know from the past so that the others here, especially the main cast will know all of it by watching." Ainz said.
"Same goes to some people who know each other from the past. To prevent the observers like Rem to know early that they know already each other and not to start a ruckus against them." Tanya said.
"So that's why Roswaal, Echidna, and Beatrice pretend they don't know each other? Because you guys took their memories out of them knowing each other?" Kazuma whispered.
"Exactly. And for the watchers to know the situation by themselves by watching, not asking and annoying these petty bastards." Tanya whispered.
"Crap! I can't deny that!" Subaru cried.
"Well, you should!" Otto cried.
"For someone who's been confined, you seem awfully composed." Ram said.
"Huh?" The two asked.
"Well, I did just have a good laugh." Subaru said and Otto gives an awkward laugh.
"We're going to escape. Garf can't leave the graveyard while Emilia-sama is attempting the trial. We'll leave while his attention is away from us." Ram said.
"No. Running away can wait until later." Subaru said.
"Natsuki-san?" Otto asked in a bit worried tone.
"I'm not saying we won't run, but this is a golden opportunity." Subaru said.
"What are you planning?" Ram asked.
"I'm going to do what I was trying to do three days ago, before I was interrupted." Subaru said and the opening starts to play.
"What he is trying to do three days ago..." Reinhard uttered.
"Before the full episode starts, later on, we will put the kids into another area because an event later isn't really suitable for them." Ainz said.
"Eh? What do you mean?" Petra asked.
"Crap..." Lucas uttered.
"Don't worry, I'll assist you all there later and we're gonna play!" Kazuma said.
"But I want to see that gore event later! I'm ready for it!" said.
"No. You can't." Tanya said.
"But-" stopped as Ainz planted a Snickers chocolate bar on his mouth.
"Mhmm..." hummed while chewing it.
"That will do the trick." Ainz said.
"Roswaal, I won't let you hide anything from me this time." Subaru said as the two meet once again in the room.
"Here we go again in this room of the clown." Garfiel said.
"Liking the place?" Roswaal asked.
"Shut up!" Garfiel yelled.
"Reunited after three days... It doesn't quite feel like a miraculous return." Roswaal said.
"Quit joking around. I don't have time to put up with your dumb games right now." Subaru said.
"It was Ram who let you in, yes? I did order her to help you." Roswaal said.
"Yeah. That's why she let me in here without argument. I put the idea of running away on hold." Subaru said.
"Oh?" Roswaal asked.
"I want to ask you something under the assumption that my leaving the Sanctuary is a given." Subaru said.
"Of course. If I have the answer, I will give it to you." Roswaal said.
"If anything, it's something only you can answer. Is Beatrice... a member of the Witch's Cult?" Subaru asked.
"What a stupid question, I suppose!" Beatrice said.
"He was just asking! What's wrong?" Otto asked.
"It's funny that Otto had enough of them. *yawns* Man I'm sleepy." Sehkmet said.
"Beatrice..." Subaru uttered.
"Don't worry. I want to see their reactions about the people who gave them a lot of trouble throughout this entire season and knowing them soon." Satella said.
"Which is why you decided not to let us meet for a reunion, am I right, Satella?" Subaru asked.
"Yes." Satella said and smiled.
"What made you suspect that Beatrice may be a witch cultist?" Roswaal asked.
"I saw her in the forbidden library. She had a Gospel. If she is a witch cultist... That makes her our... My enemy." Subaru said with a hesitant answer to his question.
"Those are strong words. Words that took true resolve to say. And... Even if you say them with such a pained expression, they are not very convincing. The idea that you and she should become enemies is truly awful. So I would like to offer you a helping hand." Roswaal said.
"You, offer me a helping hand? That's gotta be one of the shadiest statements ever." Subaru said.
"It makes sense that you would suspect it to be one. But you have my word that she is not a witch cultist." Roswaal said.
"You mean that?!" Subaru asked.
"That book of hers is not a Gospel. It is a magical text that tells the true future, of which only two copies exist in the world. It is the closest there is to the Tome of Wisdom." Roswaal said.
"Tells the true future?" Ricardo asked.
"Only two? Wait! If this little spirit has one, then where's the other one? Don't tell me..." Mimi uttered.
"Hey! Don't jump to conclusions yet! We might get fooled by it and the other one might not be on Roswaal-sama." Ram said.
"Oh, here we go. Defending this bastard again?!" Garfiel angrily asked.
"Just deal with it. We can't change the way we wanted." Ricardo whispered.
"Tome of Wisdom? But she definitely said it was a Gospel!" Subaru defended.
"That is because it lacks an official name. Thus, it is given the same name used for the defective versions." Roswaal said.
"Defective? *shakes head* Well, as long as she's not a witch cultist, it's fine. The question is, how can I get her to help me?" Subaru asked.
"Roswaal said you are to ask the question." Roswaal said.
"Huh?" Subaru asked.
"If you say this to Beatrice, she should respond." Roswaal said.
"You mean..." Subaru uttered.

"H-Hang on... Insufficient?" Subaru asked.
"Then tell her this: "I am that person." Roswaal said.
"Seriously, what's with those phrases?" Mimi asked. Beatrice realized the phrase by herself and keeps the reaction to herself.
"Are you all right, Beatrice?" Emilia asked.
"I am fine, I suppose!" Beatrice said.
"I think... not." Sehkmet yawned.
"Are you okay?" Otto asked.
"Yeah. Thank you for the *yawn* concern." Sehkmet replied.
"Is she sleeping well?" Otto asked.
"I-I-I don't... know..." Carmilla sobbed.
"Why are you even crying as someone insulted you?!" Otto cried and pats her head.
"Cute." Kazuma said.
"That person?" Subaru asked.
"Get Beatrice to ask the question, then answer it affirmatively. If you do that, she will, without a doubt, ally with you." Roswaal replied.
"How can you be so sure?" Subaru asked.
"Because it is in the contract that she is powerless to override." Roswaal replied.
"Contract... If this doesn't work, I'll punch you right in the face! That I can promise you, no matter what you say!" Subaru angrily said.
"Yeah! You better do that!" Garfiel yelled.
"Yikes!" Otto shrieked in shock.
"Are those phrases are codes or secret words to convince Beatrice or what?" Emilia asked.
"I don't even know, Lia. Maybe I know about it but, I can't even give information to it." Puck said.
"You guys prisoned a cat in the cage? Off you go." Ainz said and releases Puck from the cage.
"Hey! Why did you?!" Tanya angrily asked.
"Just let the spirit go. Whatever happens, if he rages out, I'll punish him." Ainz coldly said with his red eyes sparkling.
"You better!" Tanya angrily yelled.
"Very well. Do as you please. Once you have allied with Beatrice, she will surely be a great help in solving all the problems concerning the Sanctuary." Roswaal said and Subaru slowly walks away.
"Roswaal, I have one last question." Subaru said without looking back.
"What is it?" Roswaal asked.
"You're not actually our enemy, are you?" Subaru asked.
"Of course not. I am an ally to all of you." Roswaal said and Subaru left.
"Heh! We'll see more about that later! If you really are an ally or not!" Garfiel said.
"Understandable." Roswaal smiled at Garfiel, making him pissed.
"What will Baru do now this time? I'm afraid I'll see him suffer again. But don't worry! He is strong, right Rem?" Typhon cheerfully asked.
"Yes! Subaru-kun is really strong!" Rem said.
"Rem..." Subaru smiled at Rem from the spaceship and Satella gives him a hard stare.
"I'm so proud of my son!" Kenichi sobbed while realizing how many girls does his son has.
"He has grown enough." Naoko added.
"Did you get any answers?" Otto asked.
"Yeah, quite a few. I think all the pieces fit together now. What's the plan?" Subaru asked.
"A carriage would be too conspicuous. You and I will have to ride together. Is that all right?" Otto asked.
"I guess you'd be in danger if you stayed here, too. I have no prob- Oh, wait! Once we're out of the Sanctuary, our first stop is the mansion. We can't just leave Frederica to fend for herself. But if it's just us two..." Subaru uttered.
"That's hardly enough to fight if need be. In other words, you want me to go with you?" Ram asked.
"Well, if you would... I mean... I'd feel a lot better." Subaru said. A moment of silence occurred before Ram says her decision.
"I suppose I must." Ram said.
"You're sure?" Subaru asked.
"Roswaal-sama did order me to help you, after all. But... How we will travel? There's only one ground dragon and three of us." Ram said.
"Oh..." Subaru uttered.
"Even if both of you only amount to half a man, you each take up enough space for a full man. I don't think three of us will fit on one dragon." Ram said.
"Was that "half a man" comment necessary?!" Otto cried.
"Yeah! Yeah! I feel insulted by that one!" Otto cried.
"Insulted but I'm just telling the truth. Deal with it." Ram said with a smug.
"If Patrasche was big enough, maybe she can take the three of us... But..." Otto uttered.
"Only if you guys have horses in your world, aside from using Ground Dragons." Naofumi said.
"Horses? Well..." Otto uttered.
"Do they have horses in their world?" Tanya asked.
"I think they don't have one." Kazuma said.
"Havin' a cozy little chat while ya take a walk? Well, since I'm here, why not let me in on the fun?" Garfiel suddenly interferes as he is raging with his body covered with a scarlet aura.
"The brighter it shines, the farther away the magrizza goes, as they say!" He added.
"Now ya are in for a treat! My future self will bust y'all!" Garfiel angrily said.
"This isn't good! In that form..." Frederica said.
"What do you mean, Frederica nee-sama?" Petra asked.
"What will your future self do to them?!" Rem angrily asked.
"One that you won't like at all, Rem." Garfiel smirked.
"Garfiel..." Rem uttered angrily.
"Shouldn't you be overseeing the trial right now? Do you have time to waste hanging around here?!" Subaru asked.
"My job is to protect this Sanctuary! So if the Sanctuary's under threat, you better believe I have time! You couldn't escape the eyes of this Sanctuary!" Garfiel yelled.
"Eyes of the Sanctuary?" Subaru asked.
"I'm just sayin' your little plans were leaked. So? Where'd ya think you're headin' off to? Well?!" Garfiel asked with a gnarl.
"We're going to get Barusu outside the Sanctuary. He'll cause trouble for you if he stays here, too, so I'd say this works out perfectly for you." Ram said.
"Think you know what's goin' on in my head, do ya? Damn, there ain't nothin' lovable about you at all. That's what I like about ya, though." Garfiel said.
"So can we assume that you're agreeing to let us go?" Subaru asked.
"What!? I know damn well it'd be a pain in my ass to keep you here! The thing is... To put t another way, Hoshin was Banan's sunset!" Garfiel said.
"Oh, really? I still don't understand your idioms at all, but as long as you realize- What's with you guys?" Subaru asked as Otto and Ram prepares to defend Subaru.
"Given your lack of education, you might not have understood that." Ram said.
"Hoshin was Banan's sunset" is a saying based on the tale of how the legendary trader, Hoshin, brought the small nation of Banan to ruin. It gives your opponent two options: surrender or face an all-out attack." Otto said.
"Surrender or all-out attack?" Subaru asked with a shivered tone.
"Does it have a connection to you, Anastasia?" Tanya asked.
"Hmmm... I do know the saying but... I'm not the one who put Banan into ruin." Anastasia said.
"That saying gives me of a prehistoric horror vibe." Kazuma said.
"Prehistoric... what?" Naofumi asked.
"Are you referring that saying to the events before? I don't remember one though." Ainz said.
"Don't overthink of it. That idiot is just giving you a hard time to think." Tanya said.
"But that's what I feel, you know!" Kazuma yelled.
"Garf, are you so dumb that you didn't understand me?" Ram asked.
"You're the one who'd better watch what you say, Ram! Just 'cause I'm hot for ya, that doesn't mean I won't twist yer arm. Take him back to where he was!" Garfiel ordered.
"Y-You're really fixated on keeping me confined, aren't you? Keeping me here is bad news, so if you can let me go right now for free, why wouldn't you?!" Subaru asked.
"I dunno who the hell you are! That means I can't let you outside!" Garfiel angrily said.
"That decision may upset Roswaal-sama. Because to Roswaal-sama, Barusu is... a useless employee. He could easily be discarded." Ram said.
"You've got some nerve, saying that right now!" Subaru said.
"Sister..." Rem uttered.
"What? It's me after all." Ram said.
"Talk about getting easily discarded..." Kazuma snorted and laughed.
"Dang, I need to give this man millions of dollars for dying so much. You know what, how about 50k every death" said while grinning at Rem
then got up and started boning Rem. Every child was 25k.
"E-Eh?" Emilia asked.
"Don't mind him. I'm sorry for that." Ainz said and smacks Kazuma with his weapon.
"It would upset Roswaal? How much do you think he cares about this place, about the old hag or anyone else?! He doesn't give a damn! Not about you either, Ram!" Garfiel yelled.
"Roswaal-sama is-" Ram was stopped by Garfiel.
"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" Garfiel yelled and he punches the tree beside him, strong enough to take it down.
"He's really pissed." Julius said.
"Kabloom!" Mimi exclaimed.
"What's with the expression?!" Tivey asked in shock.
"I don't give a shit about that bastard! We're done here! Hand him over! I'm gonna tie him up and-"
"Ram-san!" Otto yelled.
"Go!" Ram yelled and the two start to make their move as Otto takes Subaru away while Ram distracts Garfiel for them.
"Damn small fry!" Garfiel yelled. Ram fired her wind magic to Garfiel who easily dodges it.
"You can't afford to be distracted, Garf." Ram said.
"Get outta my way!" Garfiel yelled and now makes his move.
"Hang on, Otto! Why-" Subaru said.
"You would've been in danger if we'd stayed! Ram-san and I made this decision together!" Otto said and blows a whistle using his hand.
"Wh-What are you doing?" Subaru asked.
"Something I was hoping I wouldn't have to resort to. It would've been better if I hadn't had to!" Otto replied. Subaru saw some lights starting to appear from the jungle as the citizens in the Sanctuary lights them up for the two.
"Everyone..." Emilia uttered while looking around the place and to the citizens helping Subaru.
"It's the citizens' time to shine for them to assist Subaru!" Felt said.
"This is our time to shine! For Subaru-sama!" One villager said.
"Yeah, I agree!"
"He can do it!"
"Escape safely, Subaru-sama!" The villagers cheered their future selves and Subaru as they are now watching the scene of him escaping from Garfiel's wrath.
"Tch! How annoying!" Garfiel said.
"What are those? The people of Arlam?" Subaru asked.
"What did I tell you? I have some very reliable helpers!" Otto said.
"You weren't just talking about Ram?" Subaru asked.
"Subaru-sama! Please take care!"
"This way! In here!"
"Otto-san, take care of Subaru-sama!" The villagers guided and gave their remarks on the plan.
"Why are they all doing something so crazy?" Subaru asked.
"That's not very convincing, coming from you!" Otto said.
"Keep going straight, and you'll find the barrier." One villager said.
"What about everyone else?!" Subaru asked in worry.
"We'll stall your pursuers!" One villager replied.
"We can buy enough time for you to escape, no problem!" Another villager said. The ground shook all of a sudden and a landslide from nowhere hit Subaru and the others.
"Subaru-kun/Subaru!" Rem and Emilia cried.
"How can your future do this, Gar?!" Frederica asked.
"Ask him, not me!" Garfiel replied with a convincing smirk.
"I see you're loving the scenes happening am I riiiiight?" Roswaal asked.
"I don't need to answer yar question!" Garfiel angrily said.
"Very weeeeell." Roswaal said.
"Damn you!" Garfiel yelled.
"What about everyone? Did they..." Reinhard uttered.
"I hope they didn't die. For god's sake." Naoki said.
"How he can do that landslide though?!" Kenichi asked in disappointment.
"Those shakings aren't normal. I think they have awakened someone." Halibel said and sniffs it.
Heavy steps shook the ground as a ferocious beast walks towards Subaru, giving him a shocked look and it is known to be Garfiel who has transformed into his tiger beast form and roared at Subaru. It roared loud enough to tremble everyone around him and doesn't give a damn on the destruction it made.
Everyone around who is witnessing Garfiel's form stepped back in fear after seeing it face to face. The knights prepared their swords but remembered that they can't hit the ones they're seeing right now in front of them.
"Mommy... I'm scared..." cried.
"S-S-S-Scary..." Petra stuttered while tears flow from her eyes.
"This is amazing! He has finally shown his true colors! I've never thought this would be a total disaster!" Priscilla laughed and everyone looked angry at her. Tanya quickly bashes the butt of her rifle on her neck to stop her.
"Please, stop acting like a low-status human, milady." Al sighed.
"Gar... what have you've done...?" Frederica asked.
"Huh?! You heard my future self, right?! He's tryin' to stop that bastard from goin' out of the Sanctuary! And ya had no chance to stop it from here!" Garfiel yelled.
"Why are you doing this? Why are you really doing this to Subaru-kun? He just wanted to save everyone in the mansion from an assassin and you are trying to stop him!" Rem cried.
"Huh?! Did my other self even know that?! Why are you always against it?! Is it because of your love towards that bastard, huh?!" Garfiel angrily asked.
"People like her have the right to get angry. And it is just... unbelievable that you need to go this far for you to achieve your goal of confining Subaru in the Sanctuary." Reinhard said.
"Well, thanks for yer advice, mister knight!" Garfiel said.
"Gar... fiel... I-I'll... do as you say. So please, don't hurt... anyone else..." Subaru begged and slowly stands up. Garfiel raises his right claw on him but Otto suddenly runs towards them.
"You complete idiot!" Otto yelled as he pushes Subaru and gets swiped into two by Garfiel's huge claw. Subaru looked at the lifeless face of Otto and his upper body dropped on the ground like a lump of dead meat and blood poured in from it.
Otto fainted after seeing himself actually dying brutally. Some villagers fainted as well due to the fact they can't withstand the gore violence Garfiel displayed towards them.
"Otto!" Carmilla and Daphne assisted Otto who nearly falls on the ground.
"How... could you do that... Garfiel?" Emilia asked. Garfiel on the other hand starts to realize if he really has done too much violence against Subaru and his allies.
"Young Gar, you shouldn't have gone too far against them." Ryuzu said.
"This is why your mom left you." Kazuma mumbled and Naofumi smacked him.
"Hey! What if he hears you?! You idiot!" Naofumi whispered.
"I think must go now cause the next scenes won't be good for them. Kazuma, will you?" Ainz said.
"Y-Yeah. Come on now, kids! Let's go to a place where you guys can have fun!" Kazuma said and all the kids approached him and open a portal for them.
"We will be back after the episode." Kazuma said and the three nodded at him and they disappeared.
"Now then, you guys are in for a more bloody treat this time. So, prepare your soul and guts for the next ones, cause it won't be easy as you thought!" Tanya exclaimed with a menacing grin.
"Hey! You're scaring them!" Ainz said.
"G-Garfiel...!" Subaru cried after what Garfiel did to Otto. The beast roared once again and sends Subaru away, crashing into the woods and destroys everything on the way. The monster slowly approaches Subaru but the villagers try to stop it by throwing rocks on him.
"S-Stay away from Subaru-sama, you monster!" One villager yelled.
"S-Sto-" Subaru stopped as Patrasche slowly pulls him and Garfiel kills the attacking villagers with each of his swipes.
"Stop it! Please! No one needs to die but me! That's enough! That's enough, Patrasche!" Subaru cried on a wounded Patrasche who now throws him away to the barrier and gets killed by a single bash of Garfiel's claw. The stone glowed in Subaru and a bright light suddenly blinded everything.
"Patrasche!" Rem cried on the ground dragon and some feel sorry for it as it tried to send Subaru away from the beast.
"H-Hey..." Garfiel uttered.
"This is unacceptable, Garfiel! What have you done...?" Emilia asked.
"Huh? I-I am dead...?" Otto asked as he wakes up.
"No... You aren't dead... Please... don't die..." Carmilla sobbed and hugged Otto.
"You are such a freak for scaring him! But, I like the way you rampage though! You okay?" Daphne asked Otto.
"This is too much... This is too much, I can't handle it!" Felt cried.
"Hey! Why are you still here?! You should be with Kazuma and the kids right now!" Tanya said.
"I may be small but I'm old enough to watch these events with my two eyes!" Felt defended.
"Oh? Is that so? Then good luck watching the other one later." Tanya coldly said.
"What?! There's... m-m-m-more...?" Otto asked in horror.
"This is really bad." Julius said.
"I... I..." Garfiel uttered as he tries to realize all the brutality he has done not to Subaru but also towards the villagers.
"Watch now, suffer lateeeeer." Roswaal said.
"Shut the fuck up!" Garfiel yelled and he sits down on the ground with a shocked face.
Subaru now wakes up back to the cage where he was imprisoned by Garfiel before. He sits now and realized where he is now.
"Why... am I here?" Subaru asked. He walks out of the cage and noticed it is bright.
"It's morning? Damn it... How long have I been asleep?" He asked and as he went out, he noticed that the whole place is covered with snow as winter arrives. He slowly walks into the cold terrace while breathing with his mouth.
"What's going on?" Subaru asked and trips on his own. He remembered the events before and he quickly shook his head.
"I can't! I can't! I can't! I have to get them back, whatever it takes..." He uttered. Back in the village, he saw no one in the chapel.
"There's... no one here?" He asked. He went to the house and he couldn't find Emilia in her room. He looked outside and zoom out of the whole forest in snow can be seen.
"I-It's so cold!" Ricardo said.
"Let me borrow this jacket!" Mimi said.
"No! I got that first!" Tivey yelled.
"Hey! Let me wear that since I'm getting cold in here already!" Hetaro cried.
"What's with the sudden change of weather?" Crusch asked.
"And Emilia-sama can't be found anywhere too." Ferris said.
"What happened in here, Lia...?" Puck asked.
"Where's everyone? Even Roswaal too isn't in his room. Neither Garfiel who just... killed my future self brutally!" Otto cried.
"Hey... I... I..." Garfiel uttered.
"Save those words for later. I'll not listen to your excuses for now!" Otto yelled.
"What a nice weather to drink a hot cup of chocolate..." Sehkmet yawned.
"But I want to make a snowman too in this type of weather! Then bust its head out!" Minerva yelled.
"Are there any better ideas aside from that, Minerva?" Echidna sighed.
"Wait, why are we here now in this open field?" Rem asked as everyone noticed that they are now in the open field with Subaru walking on it. The one watching above starts to prepare themselves for the upcoming scene.
"Ah, shit. I'll just sleep here and wait until later." Halibel said and sleeps.
"I wanna see their emotions within this one." Satella said.
"I can't watch this." Kenichi said as he and Naoko hugged each other and covered themselves with a blanket. Subaru on the other hand gulped in fear but is ready to watch himself into this scene.
'Damn it... This is going to be insane. Me watching my other self getting eaten...' He thought.
Subaru walks into the open field and stopped as he saw a rabbit staring at him in the middle of the field.
"A rabbit?" Everyone asked.
"Oh... Shit." Sehkmet said.
"*sniff sniff* Ah! Here they are!" Daphne exclaimed.
"They?" Ram asked.
"A rabbit? Why is there a rabbit here?" Subaru asked. He tried to touch the rabbit but it suddenly bit his hand and sends it flying with blood spurting from it.
"H-H-Huh...?" Emilia asked as everyone now looked terrified at the rabbit who bit Subaru's hand.
"Did it..." Anastasia uttered.
"...Bit Subaru-kyun's hand away...?" Ferris asked.
"What the hell is that thing?!" Garfiel angrily asked.
"Now you're angry at the one who bit Subaru's hand? The one you tried to kill? Pathetic. Dumbass." Old Man Rom said.
"Subaru-kun... No!" Rem cried as she tries to run to the Subaru she's watching but Ainz stops her.
Subaru cried in pain while holding his bleeding forearm as the rabbit can be seen now munching his thumb.
All of a sudden, he stumbled down as he loses his left leg and two more rabbits are munching and feasting his leg from beneath the snow. Subaru started to look around as a massive herd of rabbits with their reddish eyes all locked on Subaru can be seen.
"There's two more of them! They took Subaru's leg!" Mimi exclaimed.
"No... Take a look around..." Priscilla uttered in horror as they can now see the huge number of rabbits surrounding them.
"Whoa! What's with this massive herd of rabbits?!" Otto asked in shock.
"Barusu..." Ram uttered in fear
"Subaru..." Echidna uttered in worry and fear as well while looking at Subaru's situation.
"It has beguuuuun." Roswaal hummed silently.
The massive herd of rabbits rushed towards Subaru and they ate him alive. Some rabbits entered his internal organs and some bit his neck and the other vital organs. Subaru had no choice but to cry in anguish and accept the harshest disaster he has met ever in his life aside from dying again and again. A rabbit looked at his eye and bites it, ending his life in a munch.
"Subaru-kun!" Rem cried as she tries to run for the sorry Subaru but was stopped by Ram and Sehkmet. Emilia knelt in horror after watching the most gruesome event ever she has witnessed. Crusch and Anastasia couldn't believe that their comrade has tasted the bloodiest death ever in his entire life. The same goes for Julius, who fought Subaru before, who starts to cover his mouth and looks away from the scene.
"Subaru... I never wanted to see you die like this... not at all... This is... beyond everything that I've thought..." Puck uttered.
"Subaru... Why... Why... Why is he having such traumatic deaths such as this?! Garfiel! Are you now happy about him dying in a state like this?!" Emilia angrily asked while crying. Garfiel has no words to say while watching Subaru getting eaten by the rabbits.
"I can't..." Otto uttered and faints again after seeing the bloody massacre in front of him.
"Not again, Otto!" Minerva yelled and slaps Otto many times to wake him up, but Carmilla grabbed her hand and this made her angry.
"I'm waking him up! Let me go-" Minerva was stopped by Carmilla.
"Stop hurting him as you know him more! I can't... I can't take it anymore! He's saw his other self getting killed and you are hurting him over here again! Don't make me angry, Minerva!" Carmilla angrily yelled for the very first time and this made the witches including Echidna surprise.
"U-Uh... I..." Minerva uttered and looked away.
"Are you... all right...?" Carmilla asked Otto and caresses him.
"This is your pets' fault, Daphne! Now everyone's watching this bloodfest live and terrifying! Are you happy that many people here have seen him die like the way you wanted?!" Minerva angrily asked. Daphne raised her head and she fell silent after what she heard from Minerva.
Priscilla might have hated Subaru but she covered her mouth and looked away in disappointment because she can't do anything to stop this bloody feast on display. The Witches who are now watching Subaru's death started to feel sorry even though they shouldn't because they don't care about the deaths of every human except for Subaru. Reinhard on the other hand angrily grits his teeth to the point that he can't do anything to save his friend. Wilhelm cried in anger as he, too, can't save Subaru from this horrifying death.
Satella above observes everyone's reactions and only saw several people who really feel sorry and want to help or change the fate of the Subaru they're watching now. The real Subaru with her peeked a little bit but quickly covers his eyes as he doesn't want to rewatch his nightmarish death.
"I am surprised some of the witches feel sorry for your death." Satella said.
"Of course they would feel that. Who wouldn't care to see someone getting eaten alive by a massive herd of rabbits?" Subaru asked.
"They are witches, Subaru. They don't care about others' deaths. But now they do care to your death, especially to this one. Rem really does care about you. And same goes to... her as well." Satella said while looking at Emilia who is still crying and getting comforted by Puck.
"I hate to say this but... thanks to you, I have escaped that disgusting, traumatic death from that loop. Thanks to your power." Subaru said.
"You're welcome!" Satella said with a wink.
"No... Subaru-kun..." Rem sobbed after witnessing Subaru's death and now gets comforted by Ram who couldn't believe what she saw.
"Give Barusu a rest from these stupid deaths." Ram said while quickly wiping the tears from her eyes.
Subaru now wakes up in a new loop and realizes that he isn't eaten anymore by the rabbits. He quickly touched his body and felt that he has escaped death from the last loop.
"Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?! Why?! Why?!" Subaru yelled in agony while bashing his forehead on the ground and everything slowed down.
"You have once again earned the qualification. I invite you... to a witch's tea party." The voice of Echidna echoed in Subaru's head as he gets transported again to her world.
"We are here again in your place, Echidna." Emilia said.
"Yes, indeed." Echidna said.
"What are your motives this time?!" Wilhelm asked.
"Calm down, Wilhelm. I want to see why is she letting Subaru enter into her world after those deaths." Crusch said.
"As you wish." Wilhelm said.
"I don't often invite the same guest to my tea parties twice. Feel free to be proud." Echidna said.
"I feel so calm, it's kind of creepy. What's going on?" Subaru asked.
"It's because of the tea you drank last time. It directly affected your Sloth Witch Factor, encouraging stability. If not for that your soul itself would have crumbled to pieces. Now, I'm ready to accept your gratitude." Echidna said.
"Can I assume this will keep working, even after I'm back outside?" Subaru asked.
"Well, we are talking about your mental state. So long as you remember what happened here, you should be fine. So... where's that gratitude?" Echidna asked.
"Echidna... Is there a way to overwrite the vow? You know, the one that makes me forget about you once I step outside. So long as it stands, my soul's still likely to fall apart." Subaru replied.
"Well, that's true, but..." Echidna uttered.
"Besides, my soul isn't the only problem here. I want to be able to remember you regardless." Subaru said.
"Huh?" Echidna asked and Subaru puts his hands on the table and gets closer to Echidna.
"If it comes at a price, I'll pay whatever you want. In return, don't hide yourself in my memories." Subaru said.
"Wh-What's with him, though?" Echidna asked while blushing, making Rem and Emilia pout at her.
"Subaru-kun..." Roswaal uttered in an unhappy look.
"Oh? Are you guys seeing it? Is he..." Ainz uttered.
"Yeah. Take that, you clown." Naofumi smirked.
"I can smell the wind is in our favor now." Tanya said.
"I hope she can make Subaru-kun not forget me as well..." Rem said.
"Pardon?" Echidna asked.
"If you can do what he wishes, I hope you can undo the authority that has been used against me. I don't want Subaru-kun to forget me... I'm scared... I'm scared that might happen in the farther future." Rem said while crying.
"Only if I am powerful enough, I can help you with that." Echidna said and comforts Rem.
"Heh. Don't get fooled by her, Rem. She might use you." Satella said with a serious stare on Echidna
"Whoa, what's with the stare?" Subaru uttered nervously.
"A-All right..." Echidna uttered in a shocked expression.
"Really!? Thanks a lot! And no changing your mind, all right?!" Subaru asked as he holds Echidna's hands and waved them.
After seeing this, Roswaal had a bit jealous look on Subaru but he tries not to expose his expressions right now to avoid getting caught by everyone around him.
"How dare you..." Roswaal uttered. Beatrice on the other hand still stares at the Echidna she's watching now and tries to remember someone.
"What's with the two?" Julius asked.
"Hmm? Dunno." Ricardo replied.
"I wouldn't do something so shameless. I wouldn't, but I think you're a bit unfair." Echidna said while blushing. Subaru on the other hand sighs and gulps the tea on the table.
"And then you gulp down my bodily fluids like that..." She added and this made Subaru spit it.
"I forgot about that!" Subaru coughed and rolled down on the ground.
"So... Where's that gratitude. I don't believe I've heard it yet." Echidna said.
"Yeah, thanks for making this nasty tea, you witch!" Subaru said with a sarcastic sound.
"That kind of gratitude wounds my maidenly heart." Echidna said. Subaru looked at Echidna and he realizes something.
"What? You have something else to say?" Echidna asked.
"Quit playing around. Just how much do you know about me?" Subaru asked in a serious tone.
"If you're asking what I know, I know only what I know. If you're asking what I want to know, I want to know everything in this world." Echidna replied.
"There's no way it shouldn't seem strange to you. For you, this is happening right after your last tea party with me, isn't it? So if you don't find this strange, then..." Subaru uttered.
"Then?" Echidna asked.
"Then... that can only mean you know how this happened." Subaru replied and he starts to recall the bad memories he had before with the Return by Death and Emilia dying on him.
"Then test me." Echidna said.
"What?" Roswaal asked in a bit shocked look.
"Test her? This doesn't sound good." Tivey said.
"He's remembering the death of Emilia-sama and his power's sanction." Reinhard said.
"Y-You might not even have time to regret saying that!" Subaru said in an embarrassed tone.
"If that proves to be true, can I expect you to break down crying over my corpse?" Echidna asked with a confident look.
"Echidna... I... I've been Returning by Death!" Subaru yelled and started to prepare himself. He opened his eyes and looked to Echidna who just looked at him.
"Hmmm... It's a bit embarrassing to have you staring at me like that." Echidna said.
"Wh-When I... When I die, I go back in time and restart the world. I Return by Death." Subaru said.
"I heard you. And before I heard you, I saw you." Echidna said.
"I... Return by Death! Return by Death! Return by Death! Return by Death!" Subaru continued yelling it to show the power's penalty on him to Echidna but it didn't work.
"Is he trying to show her the sanction of the Return by Death?" Al asked.
"Yes. But it appears it won't work on Echidna's world or something." Priscilla replied.
"How could it be?" Otto asked as he wakes up and has watched the scene.
"You... okay...?" Carmilla asked.
"Yeah, I am. Thank you." Otto replied and stands up.
"Hey, calm down! I know how you feel, but-" Echidna was stopped by Subaru.
"I've been Returning by Death! I've died and started again over and over! I Return by Death!" Subaru yelled more.
"I get it, I said! Just listen to m-"
"I've been... Returning by Death... to start again... over and over... I... All this time... Ever since I came to this world... I've never, ever been able to say it to anyone... Over and over... all alone... alone this whole time... I... I..." Subaru cried and knelt on the ground. Echidna quickly lied down and comforts him.
"I know. I know every step you're taken on your path here. I was watching. But watching is all I was doing. So if you can, I'd like you to tell me yourself... what you have thought, how you have felt, and how much weight you have carried. I want to know.
After all, I'm the Witch of Greed, who wants to know everything in this world. That's me... Echidna." Echidna said and smiles at Subaru. The title "The Value of Life" appeared on everyone.
"Echidna..." Rem uttered on Echidna who smiled and didn't realize a tear fall from her eye.
"Eh? Why am I..." Echidna uttered and laughed.
"Do you really care for Natsuki-san, Echidna?" Otto asked.
"Hm? The way I'm knowing him from here, yes, I do." Echidna said. Otto stared at her and ensures that she is telling the truth.
"I hope you are telling the truth, even if you guys haven't met yet since we are watching the future, Echidna. I can't watch him die again and again because he is... he is my friend!" Otto said.
"I am, Otto." Echidna said and offered her hand to him.
"Yeah." Otto said and they shook hands.
"Echidna making friends with a human is strange. How fascinating." Satella said.
"Well, you do know her more than I do." Subaru said. He still looked at Emilia and Rem who are still devastated by the deaths they've watched now.
"Now, let's continue and go!" Ainz said.
"Yeah!" Everyone replied.
"Huh? What happened?" Halibel asked as the screams woke him up.
