Everyone felt the disturbing presence of Satella walking towards the main protaganist that they've been watching. Some of the witches in the audience noticed that the presence of the said witch might not be from the episode they're watching but the real one.
"Hey... Is it me or... This Satella we're watching..." Minerva uttered.
"Yeah. She might be the real Satella, and not the Gods' creation." Sekhmet said.
"D-D-Does that m-mean..." Carmilla uttered in fear.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Otto asked.
"You...!" Echidna angrily uttered.
"Why are they so tense? Is there anything wrong?" Rem asked but Ram replied with a shrug.
"You made it past all those barriers to enter the Castle of Dreams? Talk about rude." Echidna said on the approaching Satella.
"Seriously, what is with you? What do you want from me?!" Subaru asked in a panicked expression.
"For so long... For so very long... I have loved you... and no one else." Satella said while raising both of her hands forward to embrace Subaru.
"Stop..."
"I love you."
"Stop it."
"I have loved only you for, so, so long."
"I said stop, damn it! Both you and Echidna are insane! I've had it! I've had it with you both! I won't accept help from any of you! I'll find a way to fix everything myself! Isn't that good enough for you?!" Subaru yelled.
"I mean, they're witches though. You can't blame them for making you insane." Tanya said.
"I agree." Naofumi said.
"Subaru-kun can't handle this kind of pressure... Can he get out of there?" Rem asked.
"There's no way he can get out of that place. Unfortunately, he must wait and endure all the events that will happen in there." Sekhmet replied.
"So you're just going to keep dying, starting over, and making everyone cry? Really? Must be nice to be you. No matter how everyone else feels, you can always make the excuse that you're suffering the most." Minerva said.
"Are you... Are you saying I'm just pretending to be some tragic hero?!" Subaru angrily asked.
"No, I'm not. I'm saying that deciding you're the only one who needs to suffer is cowardly. That twisted thinking makes you way viler than any witch. And above all... It's really ungrateful to her." Minerva replied while looking at Satella.
"Ungrateful? What do you mean by that?!" Rem angrily asked.

If I had done nothing, would anything be different?! Aren't I stuck with a horrible future anyway?! Who else but me would have done all the things I've done?!" Subaru angrily yelled.

"You have... the nerve to..." Subaru angrily uttered.
"So... love..." Satella uttered.
"So that's what it all comes down to? You're that desperate for me to love you?!" Subaru angrily asked.
"No. Love yourself more." Satella replied with her eyes now looking at Subaru.
"Wh-What the hell did you just say?" Subaru asked in a shocked expression and stepped back.
"Love himself? Aren't you the one who's making him suffer again and again with that ability?!" Otto angrily asked.
"Wait, Otto." Carmilla said.
"Huh?" Otto asked.
"How she can say that after she couldn't do anything for Subaru in the past events that cost his life? Now she's telling him to love himself more?" Felt asked.
"Isn't she trying to be sweet towards him since he's a poor brat?" Priscilla laughed.
"Hey, you..." Kazuma uttered.
"No." Tanya warned Kazuma.
"What are you talking about... Satella...?" Emilia asked.
"Don't be hurt. Don't grieve. Treasure yourself more." Satella said.
"You're the one who gave me the ability to Return by Death!" Subaru said.
"I love you. So I want you to love yourself, and protect yourself." Satella said.
"If I lost this ability out of love for myself, what would I even have left?! There's nothing I can use but my own life! As long as I get hurt more than anyone else, so I can protect them, no one else will ever have to suffer at all! It's not like anyone cares what happens to a loser like me, right?! No matter how bad I get beaten up, as long as everyone else makes it to the future...
As long as we can start tomorrow without losing anyone... then... Rem is gone. If I had been stronger... If I had put myself on the front lines without worrying about what might happen to me... I could've prevented it. I don't want to lose anyone else the way I lost Rem!" Subaru cried and sat down on the ground while grabbing his head, anguished on the events that he remembered from before.
"Stop blaming yourself, Subaru. You are not the only one who didn't do anything to save Rem and prevent these things from happening." Reinhard said.
"This is why he's into madness because of taking the blame and keeps insisting that restarting things again would solve the problem." Sehkmet said.
"You're not a child. Look at you... crying, wailing, trying to handle everything on your own. You're acting just like a lonely little child." Sekhmet said.
"Baru, you're crying? Look how much someone made you cry. You poor thing. So who... made you cry?" Typhon asked as she released a violent aura around everyone but Subaru ignored her and continued feeling his pain.
"Jeez... She's scary." Otto said.
"I thought she might break him as she touched him. That was a relief." Felt said.
"No, no. I am not that type of a Witch! I am just disappointed on who made Baru cry." Typhon said.
"Can you even stand up in there, Sekhmet?" Reinhard asked.
"Would you mind assisting me?" Sekhmet asked.
"Nevermind." Reinhard said.
"I love you." Satella said as she knelt in front of Subaru.
"Stop it..." Subaru uttered.
"It's because you gave me everything. That's why I..." Satella is about to touch his face with both of her hands but...
"Stop it!" Subaru yelled and Typhon noticed him.
"Baru?" She asked and saw that Subaru bit his tongue, causing it to bleed.
"Ah, that is indeed one option, Natsuki Subaru." Echidna said and Subaru on the other hand, spit a lot of blood from his mouth and lay on the floor.
"Did he...?!" Julius asked.
"He's committing suicide to escape?!" Otto asked.
"Ah... How astonishing..." Roswaal said.
"No, no!" Minerva angrily yelled.
"Hey! Why did he even do that?!" Otto asked.
"Subaru..." Puck uttered.
"Why is this always happening?! The blood spurting around?!" Ferris cried in panic.
"His tongue... You complete moron!" Minerva angrily yelled as she tried to punch Subaru but Typhon blocks her but she got sent away as well. Minerva on the other hand, got her fist broken due to Typhon's ability.
"This'll be a piece of cake! Stay out of the way, Typhon!" Minerva angrily yelled.
"Baru made his own choice! You stay out of the way, Nerva!" Typhon angrily yelled at Minerva.
"I will not allow self-harm, suicide, or murder to happen in my presence!" Minerva yelled. Sekhmet sighed and Minerva all of a sudden, got suppressed down on the ground.
"Sekhmet..." Minerva uttered.
"Emotionally, I'm on the boy's side, too. And... I'm on Typhon's side, too." Sekhmet said.
"The witches are now fighting for Subaru's decisions and emotions... Insane!" Mimi exclaimed.
"Hey, keep it down!" Tivey said.
"I've never seen them fight each other for Subaru-kun... Why...?" Rem asked.
"Some of them agree and disagree on Subaru's terms and decisions in life. Most of us think that he did well for us, but costing his own life, doesn't mean that we will let him do that again and again to bring us to the future we deserve. And I guess the other witches hinted that whatever Subaru chooses, if it doesn't please Satella, then they would have to do something to make Subaru stop from whatever he is planning, and allow Satella to do whatever he wants." Puck said.
"Why haven't you realized that you should be included among the ones you wish to save? It should be so obvious... What could you have possibly seen in those two trials?" Satella asked and Subaru slowly closes his eyes.
"I'm expecting the best from you, son."

"I allow it. You are the one who saved me, so I will allow you to be saved, too. It is my wish for you to be saved." Satella said and this made Subaru start crying.
"Minerva aside, I'm more surprised by the way you two just acted." Echidna said as Daphne pins down Typhon.
"Stay out of this, Daph!" Typhon whined.
"Eh?! But why?!" Typhon whined.
"Ehe." Daphne smiled.
"How she can see that? I mean, look, she smiled!" Kadomon said.
"Who knows, old man!" Lucas said.
"And even Sekhmet stood up. Scary." Otto said.
"Hm? What's scary about it?" Sekhmet yawned.
"You know, Subarun made some pretty big boasts to me. So I'd love to see him at least try to follow through on them." Daphne said.
"That's an intriguing thought. And you were the one who called him back from the brink of death, weren't you, Carmilla? You even used Faceless Bride. Whatever for?" Echidna asked.

"Sekhmet and Typhon respected his wishes, and Minerva healed him. Daphne helped prolong his life, and Carmilla used her Authority to make him aware of the love he didn't see. So while each of you may have your own reasons, you all wish to help Natsuki Subaru. This truly is interesting. Don't you agree?" Echidna asked with her strange smile.
"The star.

The stars are something they can rely on to always be there, thousands of twinkling shining lights that bring comfort to all those who look at them, light that many people use as a way to guide the way home for lost souls. Some even find complete peace and bliss beneath them for they are the eternal guardians.

"Seriously... What is the deal with all of you? I can't understand or agree with almost any of your reasons for backing me. No wonder they're calling you witches." Subaru said.
"Since you're back to vilifying us, shall I assume you've recovered your strength?" Echidna asked.
"I don't even know what to do anymore." Subaru replied.
"Then let me ask you this, Natsuki Subaru. If I lend you my assistance, you can be assured that you will arrive at a future in which you save those you want to save. If you don't know what you should do, would you extend your hand to me? I will take you to the future you desire, without fail. You have my word." Echidna said while offering her hand to Subaru.
"No, please..." Rem uttered.
"Don't accept it, Subaru." Emilia said.
"But why?" Ram asked.
"They don't trust her after what they saw earlier from her. I don't know what that it is but I will respect their decision." Reinhard said.
"Echidna... I'm afraid of getting hurt. I hate hurting, suffering, and being sad. I don't want to feel pain, and I don't want to see terrible things happen to anyone else. I don't want to die. So, since sacrifice is a prerequisite to taking your hand... I can't take it again. If I might have any value to them beyond my own death, I'm going to look for it. If I can find it, I have a feeling I can repay them in some way other than death." Subaru replied.
"That's right, Natsuki-san! You can repay us aside from dying again and again!" Otto said.
"Yes! And I believe that it would make us happier than seeing you succeed but you still faced death before." Mimi said.

"Hell, yeah." Halibel said.
"Echidna?" Subaru asked.
"Oh, I'm just being a sore, meddling loser. I don't want you thinking all the other witches were good at heart, but only Echidna was evil to the very end. It's still true that I am a girl, and that I'm fond of you, after all." Echidna said after tapping Subaru's chest.
"Tch." Roswaal clucked his tongue in disappointment.
"Haha! Look at how disappointed he is! What a loser!" Halibel laughed.
"You're so rude towards him. The two of you..." Kenichi said.
"You're all monsters beyond my comprehension. We'll never understand each other, and I doubt I could ever like you. But... Thanks for being willing to let me die. Thanks for not letting me die. Thanks for letting me hear those precious voices I needed to hear. I do thank you for that.
I don't understand you. But it's a fact that the Return of Death power you gave me has saved me many times. Is Return by Death one of the options available to me? "Yeah. Compared to dying, it's nothing." Subaru replied. He offered Satella a hand to let her stand up and the Castle of Dreams starts to break again.
"Don't fret all alone. Fight alongside the people who care about you. Don't forget that there are people who grieve when you die." Satella said.
"I must admit that... She made Subaru-kun realize that dying repeatedly won't help him at all. It can also hurt the ones he left in that loop, leaving them no choice but to suffer from losing him. Reminding him to care for himself must've been another way to tell him that he can fix the mistakes again without killing himself." Rem said.
"That means she isn't really bad at all?" Petra asked.
"For now, I guess she was really loving him all along and we did misunderstand her way of showing her love towards him." Rem said.

Satella returns to Subaru and hugs him quickly after she reenacted what happened to the future that the Cast is watching.
"How did you like it Subaru, Subaru, Subaru?" Satella asked while hugging him.
"Y-You did well! Hey, I'm dying over here!" Subaru grunted.
"Oh! Sorry!" Satella chuckled and lets Subaru go.
"I noticed that Echidna noticed that you were real down there earlier. Should we worry about it?" Halibel asked.
"Hm? Don't mind them. They'll drop their jaws once we show ourselves to them later." Satella winked.
"You act differently when you're with Subaru. Did the Gods drugged you?" Halibel sighed.
Subaru wakes up and Patrasche starts to lick his face to wake him up from his slumber.
"It's you..." Subaru uttered. He sits and pats Patrasche's head.
"You're awake?" Otto asked.
"Otto? This is... I'd normally be inside. Did you carry me out?" Subaru asked as he noticed he's already out of the Trial Room.
"Patrasche did. She started thrashing around and the moment I released her from the carriage..." Otto replied.
"You did well there Patrasche!" Rem said on the Ground Dragon.
"This loop should be a good one..." Ryuzu said.
"Wait... Anyone who enters the graveyard without the qualification is rejected. Why would you try a crazy thing like that? I would've come outside as soon as I woke up. Why'd you save me?" Subaru asked Patrasche who cuddles itself on Subaru.
"You really don't know why?" Otto asked. Patrasche did mention something on Otto that only he can understand.
"Of course. Yeah, you're right." Otto said.
"What? What did Patrasche say?" Subaru asked.
"She said, "Don't make me say why." You really don't know? Now, listen... Leaping to save someone when you think they're in danger, saving them regardless of the risk to yourself, and smiling when they wake up... I believe the feelings behind that are the same, whether you're a human or a ground dragon. You're beyond dense. It must be nice to be you." Otto said and this made Subaru drop a tear on his eye.
"N-Natsuki-san?" Otto asked.
"No, no... It's not what you think... It's just... the timing... I see. You actually like me, huh? Never thought you'd be the first one I learned that from. Thanks, Patrasche." Subaru said while patting and made the Ground Dragon roar and wail its tail.
"Are you all right? What happened?" Otto asked.
"Were you worried? Wait, do you like me, too?" Subaru asked.
"Could you not say such gross things?! I'm only thinking of what comes next!" Otto replied defensively.
"Otto and Patrasche are the ones aside from Rem and Emilia who do care about Subaru. How nice of them." Reinhard said.
"Indeed." Julius said.
"Now where are the others though?" Minerva asked.
"Yeah. This time, it's only Otto and Patrasche who were with Subaru." Reinhard said.
"Yeah, I know. We're friends, after all." Subaru said and walks back to the Witch's Graveyard.
"Natsuki-san?" Otto called.
"Does that mean I passed the second trial?" Subaru asked and all of a sudden, he felt some powerful vibe stopping him from walking towards the Graveyard and making him vomit saliva.
"Hey!" Otto called.
"Damn it... What was... It rejected me? Did I lose my qualification? Why?" Subaru asked himself and remembered Echidna's words earlier.
"That nasty little..." Subaru uttered.
"Did you reject him, Echidna?" Puck asked.
"Who knows..." Echidna replied with a smile.
"But why? Why did you do that?!" Rem angrily asked.
"Just because he didn't agreed with you?" Otto asked.
"That nasty little..." Subaru uttered.
"What happened? Is there anything I can-" Otto was interrupted by Subaru.
"There's something I need to do. Take Patrasche back to the carriage." Subaru said.
"But-"
"Please." Subaru said. The scene shifted to him facing Roswaal eye to eye. The two had a moment of silence before someone talks first.
"He headed to Roswaal-sama. But why?" Ram asked.
"Isn't it obvious? He might ask something about another thing about the Graveyard again." Minerva said.
"A way to leave the Sanctuary without going through the graveyard? That is quite the bold suggestion. I do believe this might not be the first time~." Roswaal hummed. Subaru recalled what happened in the previous loop that he got worried about Roswaal.
"It's the first time we've discussed this. It'd be pointless to even try to count how many times we've interrogated each other now." Subaru said.
"It would seem you have quite the history with me." Roswaal said.
"I've learned a lot of other stuff, too. Like about the facility Ryuzu-san is in, and that Garfiel is the Apostle of Greed." Subaru said.
"Well, that is splendid indeed! But to forego the graveyard seems awfully cowardly. Do you have a reason for such haste?" Roswaal asked.
"Of course not. I just... can't hear to watch Emilia keep going in there and getting hurt." Subaru said.
"That is precisely what you are for. Surely you don't mean to say it would pain you to undergo it for her?" Roswaal asked.
"That's-" Subaru was stopped by Roswaal.
"Not the case? Truly? If you truly love Emilia-sama, it should be a simple task for you. Emilia-sama should come first, and yourself after. Am I wrong?" Roswaal asked.
"I..." Subaru uttered.
"Don't forget that there are people who grieve when you die."
He remembered what Satella told him earlier and this made him flustered.
"I see you still have not sharpened your resolve enough." Roswaal said and removes the marks on his eye.
"Just a little... Yes, I had just a little bit of hope. That maybe, just maybe, I could see the future I desired... But you have yet to even stand at the starting line of your resolve." Roswaal said.
"He removed the mark in his face. What's with him?" Tivey asked.
"Eek! What's with this guy?!" Mimi asked.
"Hey! He might hear you two!" Hetaro said.
"The starting line... of my resolve? I don't know what that means! What do you think I-" Subaru was stopped by Roswaal.
"I expect you to possess the will to carry out your objective, even if it means trampling on Emilia-sama's will. Understand? If you truly do it all for Emilia-sama's sake, then you must ignore what Emilia-sama wants.
A child who dreams of a childish paradise is not capable of the resolve necessary to walk through the hell you must choose." Roswaal said.

"At least Roswaal's helping him, not being a jerk after the boy faced those damned witches." Old Man Rom said.
"I wouldn't try to believe in him, Old Man!" Felt said.
"It's fine, it's fine." Roswaal said with a smile.
"Guh." Felt said.
"That's totally backwards, isn't it?! If it's for Emilia-" Subaru was stopped again by Roswaal.
"There is life. So long as there is life, there is a future. So long as there is a future, there is hope. So long as there is hope, there is a possibility. So long as there is a possibility, people can be saved. Am I wrong?" Roswaal asked while looking at Subaru. But the young man has nothing to say about what did Roswaal say.
"Nothing to say in response, I see. How many more times must you disappoint me? In that case, while you work on sharpening your resolve, let me press you on one more matter. I believe you have already faced many of the problems that arise within this Sanctuary, but those problems are not limited to the Sanctuary alone." Roswaal said.
"You mean the mansion? You know about-" Subaru uttered.
"Of course. The order to have assassins attack the mansion... came from me personally, after all." Roswaal said with an evil grin.
Villanous music starts to play
"You... How could you...?" Rem uttered in shock as finally, Roswaal of the future did confess that he was the one who hired the assassins to the mansion and the ones who will kill everyone in there.
"He did it...?" One villager asked.
"Why
"Roswaal-sama..." Ram uttered.
"What again, Ram?! Are you gonna ignore what he just said now huh?! Wake up! Stop being stupid for once!" Garfiel angrily yelled.
"Why Roswaal...? Does this have a meaning to the future you wanted to have? Don't you feel sorry for those who might die because of your dream?! The people who respected you, are you just gonna kill them because you wanted to achieve?!" Crusch angrily asked.
"I know Subaru-kun will find a way to stop me. And by means, he will find a way to solve the problems he had faced in this one. So why get angry at me if this didn't happen right now, to us, in reality?" Roswaal asked.
"It is because a person from another world, who isn't even born in our world, is suffering, and taking all the pain and despair from us people whom you wanted to erase from existence because of your selfish deeds! Not only you! But also those people who did gave that man a hard time in our world!" Otto angrily replied.
"Ho... How nice of you, Otto. You should get angrier for you'll know more what possible schemes I might have in the future, right teacher?" Roswaal asked.
"Teacher?" Everyone asked. Echidna ignored them including Roswaal since it's not the right time for them to know who is his teacher.
"He's not yet here at the moment. So don't worry. I'm just acting on his possible appearance soon." Roswaal said.
"Roswaal quickly made a slippery excuse to prevent them from realizing that it might be Echidna who is his teacher. Bastard." Tanya said.
"To be honest, I guess they know already who that person is. After what just happened." Naofumi said. Ainz returns Priscilla's underwear but once she says something that disappoints them, Gods, he will force her to shut her mouth with a steel tape.
"He? Does that mean we'll meet another person?" Emilia asked.

Subaru remembered the events from the past loop and now understands that those people, the attack, were all planned by Roswaal.
"Wait... Wait. Hang on a second. It was you?" Subaru asked in a disbelief tone.
"I sent assassins to the mansion to help sharpen your resolve." Roswaal said.
"My resolve?" Subaru asked.
"Even with your Authority, you cannot save both. You must decide which is more important to you. Once you make that choice, you can never take it back. Eventually, you will be perfected... as a being who can only save one and no others." Roswaal said.
"You're seriously insane." Subaru uttered.
"Yes, indeed. I've been insane for a long time. Ever since the moment I was enchanted by those eyes 400 years ago, I have been insane." Roswaal said.
