Well...here I go. Honestly, I'm excited and nervous about this. Amphibia has been the cartoon to make an impact in my life. I'm not that great at writing...but I do have fun with it. But im gonna let loose and have fun with it. Also I have decided to upload the story onto Fanfiction now. Mostly because some of my friends either don't have DeviantArt or their accounts were suspended. So for those who use fanfiction, enjoy the story.

Prologue: A New Venture

It all started out so fast. I had no idea what had happened or how it did. But one thing is certain. That music box. Somehow it teleported us here. At least that's what I think it did. And here I am in some strange new world.

My name is Akira Feidragon. I am 13 years old and a student at Saint James Middle School. I attend the school with my big brother, Beo Feidragon, who is 14 years of age. Me and my bro go way back. Even if he's a bit on edge sometimes and a bit stoic. Don't ask why, he's pretty touchy on it. He is slowly opening up to our new friends we made since going to middle school.

It felt kinda strange being in a friend circle consisting of three girls. I don't know, maybe it sort of made us stand out from the crowd I think? But I didn't mind. All I knew was that we had new buckeroos. It was like the Three Musketeers, only it was five of us instead of three. How do I describe them?

I'll start with Anne Boonchuy. What I like about her is that she's fearless and independent. Although sometimes, a bit too free-spirited. Sometimes it gets us into trouble. But me and Anne are cool. She helps her family at a restaurant called Thai Go. I gotta say, it's heartwarming to see the family help each other out.

And then there's Sasha Waybright. Let me tell, she was a life coach to me. I remember before I met the three girls, I was a bit of a fraidy cat. Bullies tend to pick on me. One unpleasant memory I remember was when I was threatened that if I didn't hand in lunch money that I would be swallowing my teeth.

And then one time during a party, I was threatened by them again, which forced me to hand over my money once again. But before they could do anything else, Sasha came in and with her charisma, threatened them if they picked on me one more time, they'll be seeing themselves in juvie. While she didn't hit them, to be honest that would've been a sight to behold, she did threaten to do so.

I was laughing when the bullies started screaming a bunch of babies and ran off. Since then, she taught me all about courage and how I should stand up for myself. It was like I was hearing this from my favorite superheroes I liked watching: Tarantulad and Titanicman. To keep it short, Tarantulad is like a bug superhero whereas Titanicman is a giant superhero that fought magically enhanced dinosaur kaiju under the command of King Tyrant. Me and Sasha became friends after this. Since then, my dream is to one day act in a role of a different kind of Tarantulad. If I were to even also direct the movie, I'd call it Tarantulad Mighty Hero.

Heck, that's where I got my newfound courage from. Though at times I can be brash and impulsive. Not gonna lie, that gets me more into trouble than it should.

And last but not least, there's Marcy Wu. We get along quite well like I do with Anne. Only here, we watch movies together. Tarantulad may not be on her list of favorite movies, but she enjoyed it nonetheless. We're both gamers at heart. However I will say I'm not big on tabletop RPGs. Mostly because they're complicated and hard to understand. You'd have to have years of studies to get good at it. But when it comes to video game RPGs, that's a different story. It's all a matter of good stats.

But I can bet you're asking, what about my brother? Well like I said before, I won't get into why my brother has this stoic look. But I can say he likes mythology. His favorite tends to be on the side of Arthurian folklore, the kind that involves the once great king of Britannia and Camelot, King Arthur, who wielded the mighty magical sword, Excalibur! One time he won at an auction and has a replica of Excalibur.

And that's my friends and my brother. So...I think now I should get into how I ended up in this swampy marshland that I don't recognize. It all started on Anne's 13th birthday. Sasha had the brilliant idea to cut school. I was hesitant about this, since, well...skipping school would be the last thing to do. Especially on a thirteenth birthday. And while I did have some fun, one part of me was reluctant that I did this. I hoped I wouldn't be found out.

So we then went to the arcade. Then that's when I started to question Sasha's behavior. But I didn't say anything since I didn't want to get on Sasha's bad side. But my courage kinda made me overlook it though as it was too much fun. Then, we chilled out at a cafe. I only tagged along because I wanted to make sure Anne made it back home by six.

It was then that Sasha received a text from Marcy. I asked what it said...and Sasha showed me a picture Marcy sent: A small golden music box with five gems on it. They were colored blue, pink, green, crimson, and periwinkle respectively. There was even an engraving of a frog on it. Curious, I wanted to see the gems. I even texted my brother to come see it.

When Ms. Boonchuy texted Anne to be home in five minutes, Sasha acted like a completely different person. Almost like those bullies she fended off. I didn't like this. I argued that Anne needed to be home, but I failed. She completely silenced me like she was my boss or something. I was steamed. I wanted to argue back but she would just silence me again. So sadly, I kept my mouth shut, swallowing the anger.

It angered me further when Sasha said the words, "End. Of. Discussion."

So...we agreed to meet downtown. Even Beo made it. He apologized he couldn't make it on time due to studies. But the girls were at least forgiving. Marcy showed us the music box which was at a thrift store. To my horror, Anne stole it while the owner was asleep. I figured this was Sasha's fault. How long has she been manipulating and influencing her like this? This made my blood pressure go through the roof. I wanted to tell Sasha off, but I felt something stop me that I haven't in a long time: scared. Scared that if I said anything bad, she'd kick me out of the friend circle for good.

Once that deed was done, all five of us gathered at the playground. When Anne opened the box, the last thing I remembered was a flash of colors and then everything turned white.

And the next thing I knew, I woke up to see I wasn't at Los Angeles anymore. I was in some sort of lush, swampy, marshland. Not to mention the fauna here was...too big. Giant bugs were about. but what I didn't know was that this was only the beginning. The beginning to a brand new adventure into this brave new world. An adventure where I had to at least find Anne, Sasha, Marcy, and Beo if they were here in this new world.

And thus...my adventure...begins now.

(Amphibia - Main Theme)

(The theme opens with Anne opening the music box and she and five of her friends are enveloped in light. The next scene shows Akira with filthy shorts, his sandals were missing leaving him barefoot, his shirt dirty, a part of his hair matted, and his hands dirty. He got up and looked up and the camera zooms away to show the continent of Amphibia.)

I've been zapped to this brave new world

In a land with amphiba-folk

I was then found and then saved

By comedic caecilians

I don't even know what I got myself into

But I must show I'm not afraid

Hopefully my courage can see me through this adventure and now that's all said and done.

(The next scene shows an underground village and an above town inhabited by caecilians, limbless amphibians resembling snakes or worms.

We then see Akira in a crowd as we see four caecilians put on a slapstick comedy act: Zeppy, Loofy, Berry, and Skittles). Berry was seen giving Skittles a handshake which Skittles used his tail end to do so but ended up being zapped. Akira was seen laughing.

Akira was seen having lunch which was grubs, which he fried, much to the delight of his new friends. He then shared them with his crew. He is then seen carving a stone into a makeshift shield and then a stick sword.

Loofy was then singing a song to tell the tale of heroes with Akira acting as one.)

With these four comedians

They provide the physical laughs

Ha ha ha ha, they sure know how to bust a gut

And hopefully with their help

I can find my brother and friends

Who may have been stranded in this brave new world

With the four caecilians

My bravery will shine as I venture across this strange new land

(Akira is seen tripping onto Skittles, with the former getting up and scratching his head in embarrassment with Skittles glaring at him.

Zeppy and Akira are seen setting up traps and then catching a giant camel spider, which went wild and the two held on, Zeppy coiled around the rope.

Akira was seen performing with the comedians. Flowers were thrown on stage as he bowed in thanks.

Akira is seen clutching a picture which had both his friends, himself, and his brother in one picture. Berry had an arm on his shoulder as the comedians looked at him with understanding. Akira wiped his eyes that streamed tears and smiled, showing he was ready to take on the challenge as he looked at the setting sun. The title, Amphibia, then appears)

Author's Note: This is the prologue. This will mostly follow Akira. Also I wanted to do my own Theme Song Takeover which follows in the steps of Akira. So as you see here, Anne had frogs, Sasha had toads, Marcy had newts, admiralDT8's OC, Darrel had salamanders, and my pick, and probably the only thing not touched as far as I know, Akira will be accompanied by four caecilians, which are limbless amphibians. These are the kind nobody ever talks about. Like if you asked them if they ever known about them, they would probably say no. And yes, they have the VAs from Helluva Boss: Brandon Rogers, Alex Brightman, James Monroe Iglehart, and Richard Horvitz. See, I've seen adult comedians voice characters in kids cartoons and movies. Brian Blessed was Clayton in Disney's take on Tarzan, and from what I heard, not only does he have ham, I heard he's quite the foul mouth. That goes also with Lewis Black, who often says the F-word alot. Brandon Rogers is no stranger to offensive comedy, so I thought hey if those two can appeal to Disney in terms of acting even without the swear, why not give Brandon Rogers a chance?

But that's enough rambling. I hope you're excited for the adventure that's coming. And I hope those who have fanfiction enjoy the adventure as well. That is all for now.
