This is a challenge I accepted from a friend. The prompt she gave me was: the tale of a woman who fell tragically in love with Sherlock Holmes.

After a brutal attack, John and Sherlock are both injured. John recovers but Sherlock is forever changed. What will Sherlock do when the one thing he could always rely on, his mind, is not longer there?

Somehow, he and a man who hadn't spoken to him since he had returned from the dead ended up snowed in at a house a couple had been killed in not twenty-four hours before. Anderson and Sherlock, Post-Reichenbach.
