After an argument with Mary Morstan, Sherlock decides to prove her wrong and show her that he is more than capable of convincing a woman to be his date to Mary and John's wedding.

There had never been a place for him in John's comfortable future of wife-children-countryside, but it hurt to see it evolve even as their friendship dissolved. Maybe not dissolved. Diluted? Yes, more a dilution. What had once been a strong bond of fondness was now something tense and fragile, held together only by Sherlock's refusal to leave.

Written for Let's Write Sherlock Challenge 7 Amnesty, or more specifically, Challenge 3, songfic. I wrote a bloody depressing one last time, I only remembered this song much later, gah. This is much happier, I think.

This was inspired by the djinn in supernatural.

It's the third anniversary of Sherlock's 'death', and John isn't coping well. Could something (or someone) turn up out of the blue to cheer him up? I don't own Sherlock or Pink Floyd, and as ever, I apologise for the unimaginative title :)

In a final attempt to alleviate his boredom, Sherlock decides to drag John out to the store. Anything to get out of the boooooooring flat. John is happy to oblige, but decides to throw Sherlock a curve ball. Johnlock.

There's a reason our beloved army doctor wears a thick bath robe after showering, even in the heat of summer. Sherlock is determined to stamp out the little kink of awkwardness between them about the reason. So as per his usual socially inept methods, he goes for direct confrontation. Sherlock is bored, as always, and decides to see what it is John is so avidly fixated by on his laptop. (Fandom jokes. If you don't understand just ask.)

After the Reichenbach Fall John can't bring himself to move any of Sherlock's things. In a desperate attempt to fell less lonely he tries to play Sherlock's poor violin, without success. But a surprise tutor seems to do the trick. JohnLock.
