After Sherlock's death, John is writing a journal to help him cope. The entries begin a couple of weeks after Reichenbach.

He knew the familiar touch, but had not yet made the connection in his muddled thoughts. "Had a bit, then?" Molly asked playfully as she looked over her drunken detective.
