I was asked to make the outro of Lana del Ray's "National Anthem" into John's suicide note. This is Johnlock but noting smutty or anything. A short but sweet read.

Before Sherlock died, John didn't need his cane, as he explains to the Sherlock whom he thinks is just a figment of his imagination. That is, until Mrs. Hudson confirms that Sherlock is really there. A one-shot. Frustratingly close to slash, but not quite, kind of like the show. Hopefully in-character.

John receives news of a death of a mysterious fallen comrade. Sherlock begins to become more acquainted with "Captain Watson". As John's past begins to bleed with the present what is held in store for the future relationship of the Consulting Detective and his blogger. Possibly eventual Johnlock.

Sherlock was a mystery—a contradiction. He was tall, lanky and bony, all sharp angles and no rounded edges, yet he had the air of grace and finesse in everything he did. John decided that it was really, really unfair.
