When Sherlock was twelve, his best friend was a cat.

Once, life was easy. He was "the freak", she was "Donavan", they hated each other. He died, and she started thinking about him as "Sherlock". Then he returned, and everything changed. Set after Sherlock's return. A stressed John is trying to appease his flatmate's brilliant brain, that has recently been rebelling against stagnation again. The doctor suggests that they play a game in order to pass the time and relieve Sherlock's boredom, but a dispute about which game to play soon escalates into another argument entirely, unearthing some underlying issues...

Following the loss of his phone on a case Sherlock get's himself a new phone.

John Watson is an injured knight. Sherlock Holmes is a banished sorcerer. The crows speak of darkness in the east.

John wonders what it would be like being the bad guy for a change and challenges Sherlock in his own little game of wits. Established John/Sherlock, some random fun Mystrade, and some stupid fun with the Scotland Yarders.

After the fall, a lost, broken Mycroft goes to the RNC in America but gets waylaid by a storm.

Sherlock and John are finally tying the knot, but Mycroft always did have a penchant for stealing some of his brother's attention. [ Bed of Roses related but can be read as a standalone :D ]

Sherlock's annoyed. John's annoyed. And it all stems off of Sherlock watching some terrible awards ceremony on the telly. Conclusion: Sherlock shouldn't watch telly. He just shouldn't.

John visits Sherlock's grave on Christmas Eve.

Spoilers for series two. John Watson lost his best friend, but the worst part is no one remembers him even being alive. Something strange happens to him after a particularly bad day and John learns that he has to stop a crazed criminal before he steals away everyone that is close to him. This is the third part in the Runaway Home series. It is a parentlock fic and could probably be read alone if you'd like, but there will probably be references to the other stories.
