After the events of Reichenbach, John is injured and gets amnesia. Mycroft, who promised Sherlock he would care for John, steps in and acts as John's older brother. This causes problems when Sherlock returns. Eventual J/S.

Nobody could put him behind bars, not when the government was on his side. Moriarty/Mycroft. PG

John moved on, but Sherlock came back. Johnlock. PG

Finally, someone that could play with Sherlock. Sherlock/Moriarty. G.

When John left, Sherlock was quiet. He didn't shout or cry or rage about that night. He laid on the couch and stared at the ceiling until the sun came up.
