It has been two weeks since the last time she saw Christian, yet that moment lives in repeat in her head, much like a broken record. Her brain has been in overdrive and so has her heart, but, with Jose out of town vacationing with his family, she hasn't been able to resolve anything. She knows the first thing she has to do is come clean to Jose. Take it one step at a time.

Right now, she's just trying to relax a little with Mia before Sunday dinner at the Grey's. They sit on their back porch with two glasses and a bottle of wine between them. Mia is going on about her new menu ideas for the restaurant where she is a sous-chef and Anastasia is doing her best to pay attention, but her mind keeps wandering to the wooded area below them, memories of two weeks back flooding her brain.

"Ana? Earth to Ana... are you okay?" Mia waves her hand in front of her friend's face, wondering what has gotten into her. She knows the wedding planning hasn't been going the best, but Anastasia has not been acting herself.

"Huh? Oh, Mia. I'm sorry. I got lost in my own head!"

"It's alright. You've got a lot going on. Maybe Jose can help." She states, grinning.

Anastasia gives her friend a look of confusion, but Mia points behind her.

"Hey, babe."

She twirls around in her chair and find Jose at the top of the stairs with a grin on his face and a bag in his hand.

"Jose! I thought you weren't going to be back until Tuesday." She stands to greet him and gives him a hug. "What's this?" She asks, seeing the purple gift bag.

"I brought you some candy from Mexico. I figured since you were buying...er your monthly items about a month ago, it would be perfect timing." He gives her a dazzling smile, obviously happy with himself.

"Wh-what?" The blood drains from her face.

"See? I pay attention. I want to make you happy."

"Shit. Um, that's very sweet, Jose. I... uh, listen, I need to talk to you about some stuff." She sets the gift bag on the table and asks Mia to go back inside so they can talk in private.

Mia pouts but makes her way to the door, disappearing inside.

"Hey, Mia!" Kate hollers when she enters. She, Elliot, and Christian finally made it to the house after Elliot spent five minutes convincing Christian to get out of the car. Seeing Jose's car had been too much for him.

"Shhh!" Mia hushes Kate and leaves the door cracked open. "Ana just told Jose they need to talk and I can't hear over your talking."

Meanwhile, outside, Anastasia is still trying to find the courage to tell Jose.

"What is going on, Ana?" Jose knows this cannot be good.

"Why don't you come have a seat on the couch with me?"

"No, I think I'll stand, thank you."

"...Okay..." She tucks her hair behind her ear and clears her throat. "Well, do you remember a couple weeks ago when we came here for wedding planning and I got angry and went for a walk?"

"Yes..." He already looks pissed.

"Well... something happened. I wasn't alone." She chews her lip.

"What do you mean you weren't alone? Who else was here?"

She stares at him, scared to tell him.

"What did you do?" He racks his brain trying to figure out how much trouble ahe could get in out back. "Wait a fucking second. That Christian fucker was here, wasn't he? I thought you smelled like cologne when we left."

"Um... yes. Kind of... well, yes." She's tripping over her words.

"I knew it. I fucking knew it! I told myself I was going crazy! What. Happened." He grits between his teeth. "Did he make a move on you?"

She scratches her head. "Um, yea... you could say that..."

"Then what else could you say? Did you kiss?"

She nods, twirling her hair around her finger; a nervous habit.

"What the fuck, Anastasia! Don't try to cute your way out of this! You're a taken woman! He can't just go around kissing whoever the fuck he wants!" Jose is angry with the wrong person.

"Well, you see... there's more..." Lord, have mercy.

"Oh, there's more? Have you been seeing him since?" He pulls at his hair, his brown eyes bulging.

She shakes her head. "No, I honestly haven't seen him since that night... but we didn't really stop at kissing..." Lord have mercy.

"What do you mean? Where did you stop? Because the Ana I know wanted to be married before she did anything past kissing."

She winced. "Yea...I did tell you that didn't I?"

"What. Did. You. Do?"

"Well, I... he and I... we..." She didn't have the guts to say it.

"YOU FUCKED HIM? YOU FUCKED HIM. Just say it Ana!"

"HUSH! Everyone will hear you!" She grabs his arms begging him to be quiet.

"Don't touch me!" He pulls away from her. "This whole time I thought you were a good girl, Anastasia! I raved to my family about your wholesome morals! And the whole damn time you were fucking the living day lights out of the fucker I never trusted to begin with!"

She shakes her head. "It was just once, Jose! Nothing happened until that night, I swear!"

"You're word means nothing to me!" Jose spits. Suddenly, he realizes. "Why am I just now hearing about this?"

"What?" Anastasia is a deer in the headlights.

"Why haven't I heard about this until now? Why did you wait until..." His eyes wander to the bag. "Have you had your period?"

"Jose... I wanted to wait until after your vacation." This is not okay.

"Liar! You weren't going to say a word until you realised you missed your period and no options."

"Jose! That is not true!" Tears are in her eyes, but she isn't about to let them fall.

"For once, just be honest with me! You're pregnant."

"I... I don't know. I didn't realize until-"

"UNTIL THE MAN YOU'RE SUPPOSE TO MARRY BRINGS YOU A GIFT? Jesus Christ, Anastasia! How could you do this to me? I would have NEVER done this to you! And you had the nerve to make me suffer over what happened at the fucker's brother's house?!? This whole time! The whole time I was right! You tried to make me feel fucking stupid about it but I was right! What happened to the woman with convictions I thought I was going to marry?"

"Jose... I'm sorry..." She had never seen him so angry with her, but she deserved it. She cheated. She kept it from him for weeks. Her tears finally begin to fall.

"You're sorry? Shit, Ana! Save those fucking tears for someone who cares. I have never felt so betrayed in all my life! I could just throw you off this fucking balcony right now!" His answer startles her, making her look down. Concrete. Suddenly she feels way too close the edge. Too close to Jose.

Before she could take a step back there is someone between them, startling them both.

"Don't you fucking touch her." Christian growls, his nose almost touching Jose's.

"So, now what, you think you own the bitch? Get the fuck away from me!" Jose pushes him, but Christian doesn't move.

"That was the wrong move." Christian growls back.

"Christian! Christian, come on. Please don't. He's angry. I cheated. Just let him have this one okay? Just let him go." Anastasia is holding on to Christians arm, praying that there won't be bloodshed.

"Go." He grits between his teeth. "Go now."

Jose steps back, but doesn't leave. "Not without Abuela's ring."

Realizing, Anastasia makes quick work of taking the ring off and shuffles forward handing him the ring. "Here's your ring now, Jose. Just go. Please." She hopes he knows what's good for him.

Luckily, he leaves without another word and Anastasia feels the weight of the world lift off her shoulders. He's gone.

Turning on his feet, Christian takes her face in his hands and caresses her cheeks with his thumbs, wiping away her tears. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you?"

She shakes her head. "I'm okay. How long have you been here?"

He grins. "The whole time."

"So... I guess you heard?" She gives him a small smile, pink tingeing her cheeks.

"Yea." He laughs, picking her up so she straddles his waist. "I heard... and whatever happens, I'm ready."

She giggles, relieved he isn't angry about their situation. "Will you kiss me now?"

"I-"

She pulls him into a kiss, not bothering to wait for his response. Their kiss doesn't last long cause it is interrupted by the clapping and yells of the others that were still snooping. Giggling, they pull away.

"Congratulations, you guys!" Kate claps, excited for the two.

"Let's toast to the happy couple!" Mia is already holding her wine, ready.

"But first, a test!" Grace is holding up two pregnancy tests that she keeps in her doctor's bag. "Let's see if it's water or wine!"

Christian kisses Anastasia one more time before he sets her down. "Guess we're going to do this here, huh?"

Anastasia shrugs. "Guess so."

Hand-in-hand they make their way back into the house and she goes straight into the bathroom alone, leaving everyone waiting on the other side. Once she finishes and washes her hands she opens the door, but only for Christian. The others will have to wait.

Shutting and locking the door behind him, Christian turns on his Pandora Running Playlist, turns it up, and leaves it on the floor by the door, hoping the music will block out their voices for any prying ears. When he turns, he finds Anastasia sitting on the counter next to the tests, her feet dancing anxiously.

He pulls her legs apart and stands in between them, pulling her in for another kiss while they wait.

"I love you. More than anything." He loves saying it out loud.

"I love you, too. You're everything to me." She still can't believe that Christian wants her. He's perfect in her eyes and she feels like she just doesn't compare. Sighing, she studies his face. "What if it's positive?"

Christian grins. "Then we start a family."

"You're okay with that?" This is all so fast.

He kisses her. "I'm more than okay with it. Whether we are pregnant now or we get pregnant next year...it doesn't matter to me. We're going to be a family. I'm not stupid enough to let you go... and to be honest... it really turns me on thinking that you have my baby growing in that stomach of yours."

She can't help but giggle at his comment. "Then does that mean you're okay with it happening more than once?"

He groans at the thought of her carrying his babies, her stomach growing like their soon-to-be family. He's hard; ready to make more. "As many as you'd like."

"What if it's negative?"

He shrugs. "Then we keep trying... get married...and find somewhere to raise them in the meantime."

She giggles. "You're fast."

"What can I say? I know what I want. There's no surprises with us, Anastasia."

She agrees. They know each other better than they know themselves.

"Ready to look?" She's nervous.

Christian nods. "Let's do this."

She grabs one and he grabs the other.

"Two lines!" They announce together. Two positives.

"Congrats, Mommy..." He grins pulling her in for another kiss, making her giggle.

"We're going to be a family..." She beams, looking down at the tests. "There is no one else I'd rather have one with. Thank you Christian."

He hums. "This is going to be fun."

A/N: The end! I had tried to add sort of an epilogue to the end explaining kind of what happens after but no matter how I wrote it, it didn't feel right. Hope you all enjoyed the short story and thank you to all who reviewed. You know how much I love reading reviews. :) You guys are the best. I will really think about picking one of my stories to try to finish. Is there any specific story out of the three that aren't finished that you'd rather I work on? Let me know.
