4: The Perfect Mortal god of Wisdom
Original?
High-grade perfectionist scholar is transported to a cultivation world with no cheats. Using his earth knowledge and philosophy, he makes himself perfectly compatible with cultivation of both body and mind, although his physique and aptitude fail to really show at his testing. Proving himself by beating many cultivators stronger than himself, including the tester, he gets an invitation to many great sects, including the greatest of the orthodox sects, which he chooses. However, for the next fifty years all he does is read every book in the library, do tests on cultivation, and research. At the end of that time, he sets himself to reincarnate as a baby. Fifteen years later, he returns to the orthodoxy to find it in ruins, its glory gone and its treasures plundered by other sects, including orthodox competitors. He then uses his knowledge to create a series of mortal gods, beings of near-perfect cultivation in their area, with him being the chief, in order to revive the sect to its former glory in repayment for their aid.
He cultivates twelve arts: three of the Body: god in Man, Man in god technique focused on giving a mortal mind a divine form (lesser-known, worse God amongst Man, Man amongst gods technique as a base), Alpha Beast: Ancient Titan Prometheus, which focuses on turning the user's soul into a powerful Titan and bringing the body up to match, and One of Adaptable Self and Immortal Soul (an art designed to make one's body and soul mirror each other and be able to heal from anything if still alive); three Spell arts: The Twelve Elements, A Painting of Skies and Seas (improved variant on Mountains and Rivers) Calligraphy art, and Circles of Seven Forces Formations (Gravity, Causality, Time, Space, Observation, Desire, and Will) Formation art; three martial arts: Perfect Man Martial Art (a martial art designed to be perfect), Infinite Sword Diagrams (the peak of swordsmanship), and Elemental Emperor's Throwing Knife Art (based off the various breeds and elements of Phoenix); and the three creation arts: Natural Treasure Refinements, Cultivation Doctoring and Method Creation, and Alchemy (far more than just pill creation).
He also had a network of beggars and wanderers that were supposed to find him and supply him with stuff for his cultivation when he was too young to remember (his memory is sealed and returns a bit at a time until he is 16?), but they got hunted down until only one was able to bring him the stuff, leaving several of the 'frill items' out.
