Update: 11/11/21

This chapter will be split up in 2 parts as I didn't want to write a 4k chapter which will probably be too long for this so the next chapter might take me a little longer but it will be before 2017 ends so don't worry about that.

Chapter 12- Meeting Sirius Black Part 1

Harrison was heading back to the Dungeons, unaware of two redheaded twins, both similar in height, following behind him. He was just exhausted from over exerting his magical power that he didn't notice two pairs of footsteps following him until he was halfway through the dungeons, when he felt like someone was following him.

He looked behind, his wand pointed out, his green eyes glowed dangerously as the redheaded twins made no means to hide. They simply stood there behind him with smiles on their faces, the freckles all across their face more noticeable in the dim lighting.

Harrison stiffened; he heard the rumours of the infamous twins. They were notorious for playing pranks on people, no matter what house they were in. He was pretty sure Draco had been on the receiving end, when one day he came into the dormitory with pink hair that wouldn't go away, no matter what the pale blonde did. He also knew that the-boy-who-lived was also on the receiving side, so was the blood-traitor: their own brother.

No one was safe, but what was interesting was the fact that he was never on the receiving end of the twins' pranks. Instead, when he came across them, they just avoided him as if they knew what he was capable of.

Now that he was looking at them, they were poised differently than the other blood traitors. They stood proudly, with their crisp, clean uniform that looked brand new, and fit them properly. But what was interesting was their aura; it was dark rather than light like the rest of their families.

"Now what would two lions be in the snakes' den?" Harrison asked, watching their every move.

The twins looked at each other before one of them spoke,

"A little birdie told us that you hold resentment towards Saeviour and his little friends, including our little brother… " One of the twins started.

Harrison stiffened, expecting the worst coming from the twins, but what they said next surprised him.

"We can't stand them, and come to you with a proposition we have for you," One of the twins explained.

Harrison cocked his head to the side, his thoughts swirling. A proposition for him? Every inch of his body screamed danger and didn't trust them, but he couldn't help but hear them out. After all, the twins never seeked him out before and their auras were different from their families and brothers.

"What kind of proposition?" Harrison asked.

"Meet us on the seventh floor next to the tapestry with Barnabas the Barmy teaching trolls ballet on Wednesday night, after supper," The twins said in unison, before they walked away leaving Harrison in the wake, thinking about what the twins just told him.

Harrison headed up to the seventh floor right after supper on Wednesday night. He spotted the redheaded twins standing right next to the tapestry with Barnabas the Barmy teaching trolls ballet.

All of a sudden, one of the twins started pacing around the corridor, back and forth three times, until a door appeared- a door that didn't exist before. Harrison refrained his curiosity from showing as he was invited in, taking in what the room had to offer.

There were a couple of black armchairs facing one another, with the fire blazing in the background. The room was in dark colors, making him feel at ease as he stepped forth and sat in one of the armchairs with Fred and George taking the rest of the chairs.

"Where are we?" Harrison questioned, gazing around the room- taking in every inch of detail that he could.

"My Fred, the little snake is surprised-"

"That he hasn't discovered one of Hogwarts secrets-"

"The Room of Requirement!" Both of the twins said together.

Harrison rolled his eyes, finishing each other's sentences, talking in unison was starting to get really annoying. He was willing to sacrifice his patience, if it meant listening to the twins' insane rambles and finishing one another's sentences, just to get the proposition out of them.

"What proposition?" He asked, getting straight to the point.

"For starters-we've noticed from a little object that's very dear to us-"

"That you've been the girls' loo on the second floor, disappear and come back hours later… So where have you been going?"

"Nothing that concerns you," Harrison snapped, feeling frustrated as this conversation was getting nowhere and the twins were just stalling.

Both of the twins looked at each other before either Fred or George said,

"The little snake's is very secretive, more than Dumbledore and his little schemes."

That caught his attention. Dumbledore was a scheming bastard, who was a master at manipulation, and all of the sudden these twins- masters of pranking, may have gathered some secrets around Dumbledore.

The prosperity of these thoughts excited him and he asked,

"What do you know about Dumbledore?"

The twins looked at each other before one of them before one of them said,

"Tell us where you've been going first."

Harrison weighed his options; on one hand, he would be giving up his location, but on the other, he would get information about Dumbledore and he doubted the twins would tell anyone.

"Very well," Harrison sighed, "I've been going to the Chamber of Secrets."

"The Chamber of Secrets," Twin 1 breathed to which almost made Harrison roll his eyes at some of their stupidity but he had to give these twins a chance.

"Does that mean The Chamber of Secrets' legend is real?"

Harrison nodded.

The twins didn't bother feigning their interests about the Chamber of Secrets, as they asked him a question that he refused to answer- mainly because he didn't want to put Amara at risk, and what was the point in keeping the curiosity and the questions that would remain if he answered them.

"Does that mean it's true that there is a monster hiding in the Chamber that Salazar Slytherin hid?"

"But how did you discover the chamber?"

"Is it after the fact that you've lingered in the dungeons for weeks at a time?"

The twins pestered him with questions, and much like Draco's curiosity-he had to fulfill their own curiosity with one question that lingered in his brain.

"How did you know I explored the dungeons for a few weeks after I've been sorted? Have you been spying on me like Draco has?"

One of the twins laughed before he replied, "It's because of our map- it tells us what every person in the castle is doing, where they are at."

Harrison refrained from sighing, as the relievement that the twins hadn't been spying on him like Draco had. But the mention of the map perked his interests.

"Show me."

One of the twins produced the map-it was a blank piece of parchment. At first, he assumed there was nothing of it before the other twin pressed their dark, mahogany and towards the blank parchment and said,

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."

The parchment then revealed itself. Words appeared, scrawled in black ink as he read what was written on the parchment, "Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs

Purveyors of Aids to Magical Mischief-Makers

are proud to present

THE MARAUDER'S MAP"

Harrison's eyes lingered as he read the names on the parchment. He squeezed his fists tightly; he knew exactly who all these people were. In the snippets of conversations from his early childhood before Azkaban, his "parents" friends also referred to each other by their names. Prongs being James Potter, Padfoot as Sirius Black and Moony being Remus Lupin and the last one he didn't know.

"Now about Dumbledore?" He asked for what seemed to be the tenth time, but in reality, was probably the third time.

The twins glanced at each other before sharing, a glint of scheming written in their eyes. He was tempted to use legilimens, but he couldn't fuck this up.

"Perhaps we should consolidate with Padfoot, as he would be able to explain this matter better than us," One of the twins said to the other twin.

"What does this have to do with Padfoot?" Harrison inquired.

They grinned like cheshire cats.

The next morning, Harrison sat next to Draco and Theodore on his right side. He took a drink out of his pumpkin juice when the flock of owls that delivered the mail, dropping like stones towards the students. He didn't notice a black owl with matching wings, as it swooped down- dropping a white envelope addressed towards him.

He untied the rope, and read the first few words:

Friday Night at midnight

The Murder Inn, Knockturn Alley

It wasn't signed, but Harrison knew exactly who had sent it. He quickly pocketed the letter, watching as Draco's eyes quickly looked away. He smirked, content that the blonde was hiding his curiosity better, especially concerning his matters.

Knockturn Alley was home to many inhabitants, most of them creatures or people who didn't want to be known that they were down in the alley. He was pretty sure he saw a vampire, its fang glistening in the poor lit streetlight. Beggars and hagglers were absent, probably late as people who were out late- normally meant business.

Harrison fixed his hood to where it was partially covering his face, and the two matching black robes that belonged to Fred and George. They hurried along in quick paces, not paying any attention to any surroundings. The deeper they went, the less creatures were notable until they reached a tavern, tucked in the corner between several buildings.

He quickly understood why Sirius Black would meet here. The less ears, the better.

The twins sat down at the bar table, asking for three butterbeers while they sat there, hoods up still. Harrison took a moment and studied his surroundings, a werewolf with his hairy arms, and scars littered his face, nursing a fireball whiskey. HIs posture looked exhausted, and looked like he was done with life.

He couldn't help but ask a question that plagued his mind. The Potters stopped talking about Sirius Black, and there was no mention of him from Saeviour's lips. It was like he never existed.

"What happened to him? Did the Potters do something?"

"They kicked me out because of my surname," Someone commented behind him, Harrison stiffened but he recognized the voice.

It had been so long since he heard Sirius Black's voice. And now here he was in person, his black hair curled on the bottom, reaching slightly past his shoulders. He looked more alive than ever before, but the black eyes held the Black maniac gaze that all inhabitants of the Black family held, fully present in his eyes. It looked like Sirius had finally embraced his background. Bellatrix would perhaps be pleased to hear about that.

"Black," Harrison greeted.

"Harrion, it's good to see you," Sirius greeted.

He was about to put his hand on Harrions's shoulder, but a glare stopped the older man.

"I wasn't expecting you two for another month or so," Sirius said, turning to the twins.

"Well, the snake here wanted answers and we decided to hand him to you," Twin 1 said to him.

Satisfied with their answer, Sirius returned his attention back to Harrison.

"You still look like you've been in Azkaban for far too long from your crazy glint in your eyes… Besides, everyone knows Azkaban doesn't give people the nicest manners or the nicest appearances," Sirius commented which made Harrison's eye twitch at the comment he made.

"So I've been told," Harrison said dryly. "You should know better than that… My sanity has always been questioned before I was thrown into Azkaban, you should know that."

"It isn't my fault, Harrison… I would have tried to get you if I knew what the Potters have been planning from the very start," Sirius tried to explain to Harrison as best as he could.

Harrison laughed, because that was just an idiocy excuse,

"You were my godfather… You were supposed to protect me from them but you never did." Harrison's face turned fiery, letting his past hurt show on his face,"You didn't know how much they abused me emotionally, physically and mentally if they remembered I existed… Yet, when I was locked up in my room, you believed their lies that they told you.

"You're as bad as the Potters because you let them. Hell, when I was stuck in Azkaban, you abandoned me just like everyone else and never even visited. You basically vanished from my life as soon as the aurors dragged me away from Potter Manor."

As soon as he finished his rant, he felt a little bit better. He saw the hurt flashed on Sirius's features, and he didn't even bother trying to hide it. He knew he touched a nerve, but he was tired of being abandoned by people. He just wanted to know why he did it.

"I'm sorry," Sirius replied, sincerity lacing his voice.

Harrison wanted to believe him, but he wasn't going to forgive him just yet. He had to prove his trust, and telling him everything that he wanted to know was one of the steps in proving that he really was with him. He had to make up for his actions in the past, and especially abandoning him when Harrison wanted him the most.

"Now tell me what you know about Dumbledore and his scheming plans," Harrison demanded, his avada kedavra eyes glowing more brightly as he awaited for the response.

Much longer than the last chapter so no complaining that the chapter is short. The chapters will range 1.2k to 2k so you can't complain about the length. I'm actually surprised I actually started this chapter and finished this chapter today which is a double update today because I'm being nice and I couldn't really do anything else as my mind didn't want to do anything else and I had lots of muse after I completed the last chapter which is totally strange for me to write another chapter so quickly after writing one in the span of a few hours.

Update: Fixed grammar, missing words, pieced it together to where it makes sense.
