Prologue - The Girl-Who-Lived

October 31,1981

Today is Halloween or Samhain when the border to death is the weakest, and it is also going to be the date when Voldemort is going to attack the Potters. It was near midnight when he attacked, "Lily take Sophie and run!" James yelled, with that Lily take Sophie and run to nursery to try and apparate out of there but it did not work "Damn you Dumbledore" muttered Lily.

Meanwhile Downstairs

"Move aside James, you have blood I don't wish to spill, I will give you one more chance to join me" said Voldemort. "No I will never Join you, I would rather die before joining you" said James as he move to try get his wand, but not before Voldemort says "Avada Kedavra" with that a green light come out of Voldemort's wand and hit Jame, killing him right there.

Voldemort started moving up the stairs to where Lily took Sophie and blasted the door open with a "Bombarda".

Lily meanwhile is whispering spells in parseltongue and doing a very powerful ritual that will use her life to save her daughter Sophie. By the time Voldemort bust the door open, she already finished the ritual and all she has to do is make sure he kills her first.

"Move aside girl this is the only chance since one of my follower want you" Voldemort says "Please not Sophie, take me just not Sophie please" Said Lily with that Voldemort rise his wand just as lily planed and say "Avada Kedavra" a green light shoot from Voldemort's wand and hit lily unknowing sealing his fate. He moved to Sophie with Sophie looking up at him with her big Killing Curse Green Eyes spinning with power, right into his eye, what Voldemort saw scared him, the power in those eyes was powerful.

Voldemort said "Such power it a shame that you have to be the one" with that last word he rises his wand and said "Avada Kedavra" the green light of the killing curse was about to hit Sophie, but something seen to stop it and rebound off it hitting Voldemort with insane speed destroying his body. Voldemort's soul split because of how unstable it was, tried to leach onto the closest living thing but something stop part of it and destroyed it, but all memories of the soul made it to Sophie with a small part of the soul that was not destroy, but got destroy because of how week that part is. With the memories buried deep inside Sophie Mind.

While all of this was going on, no one noticed a figure looking over the whole thing, Some may know her or him as Death. You may be thinking why was she there, while she is there to help her Mistress who is right now Sophie Potter, you also may ask how she is her Mistress, the answer is simple, death picks who her Master is. Death over time has only once got a Master; you may know him as Merlin. You see Death only gets a Master or a Mistress if the world is going into a death time.

She does it to help her daughter, Magic, seeing how much Magic loves this world. So when time is dark and nothing looks good she get a Master since she can not do much in the world, she is now looking at her new mistress house waiting for the right moment to bond with her.

Death saw how James tried to buy time for Lily and Sophie to get to safety and death. She saw how Voldemort or Tom Riddle killed him and moved to get her new Mistress. Death sees what Lily is doing and smiles as what she is doing is an ancient ritual of Magic that sacrifices her life to save her daughter. Now that has made Death's job a little easier as she will not need to stop the killing curse from killing Sophie.

Death watched as the killing curse hit Lily and after flying to Sophie and rebounding back to voldemort. She was going to bond herself to Sophie, but seeing the soul fly toward Sophie she tried to destroy it but only destroyed most of the soul but missed the memories. But she was happy to see that the small amount of soul that did make it will be destroyed in a day or two. But now she did not have enough power to finish the bond, but since it is still there, Sophie can feel her but not see her.

After Voldemort's soul left, Sirius Black came rushing into the house and yelled "James!". But he had come too late. After checking on James, his best friend and Brother in everything but blood, he went upstairs to see Lily on the floor and Sophie asleep in her crib. He went and picked up Sophie and said "Don't worry Sophie, I am here to take you away."

Before Sirius can do anything Dumbledore appeared behind him. Sirius said "It's Peter, he betrayed James and Lily, he is the secret keeper". "Don't worry, Sirius I know" Dumbledore said "but She can't go with you" with that Dumbledore raised his wand and said "Obliviate" and a few others to make sure that Sirius will go after Peter, and give Sophie to Hagrid. Before he left, Dumbledore muttered "it is for the Greater Good" and with that he disappeared.

After that Hagrid came and got Sophie and Sirius went to look for Peter. When Hagrid arrives at Number 4 Privet Drive, Little Whinging, Surrey. He sees professor Mcgonagall and Dumbledore talking. He then gives Sophie to Dumbledore where he places her on a door step with a letter on top, Before all of them leave.

The morning after

When the door opened Petunia saw a small girl on her doorstep with a letter before yelling for Vernon.
