Chapter 3 - Death as in Death?

A day before her 7th birthday

Sophie has been training everyday for the most part, she still plays around like a kid as she is one. She had mastered Occlumency a few months into the training, and even found some improved way of keeping her Defense and turning it off without time. Sophie does this by going into her consciousness and linking a line of magic from there to her mindscape.

She has also been playing with Chloe, the White Phoenix, and has mastered all the classes that they teach at Hogwarts up to OWLS. You may have wondered how she learned Charm or DADA without a wand, simply because Sophie does not need a wand. How she does it is not sure, maybe it is the way she did Occlumency, but her father thinks she is just a very very strong witch. When she do need a wand she use her grandmother's wands

She also went to a nearby town to learn how to use other weapons, like a sword or bow. You may wonder why Sophie is learning those weapons. Some wizards may not know what to do and it is not easy to block them with magic. Sophie also knows Martial Arts as not many wizards can fight close range. So overall she is very well off.

Right now she is talking to her Parent about the Creature Inheritance for her kitsune side that will happen tomorrow, right now all they know is it will be very painful, but the upside is her magic will get even stronger and she will get a better control of illusions like no other. As kitsune are tricksters foxes that are known to be mischief and love pranking, which her father approves of.

Meanwhile at Hogwarts

Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts, is not having a nice day. Ever since that potter Bart disappeared, he has been trying to find her and putting her back with her aunt and uncle has been a nightmare. He had tried to find her by reforming the order but no luck, he had been trying to not let any word of it getting out. If it did his life will be even more of a nightmare, at least no one knows that she is a she.

Right now the world will know her as Harry Potter, and it will stay that way until she comes to Hogwarts. You may ask why because right now if someone tries to look for her, they try to find Harry not Sophie therefore keeping her from being found and taken into the wizarding world.

To this day Dumbledore had still wondered how she had left Privet drive, and how nothing he tried could find her. Not even Fawkes can take him to her, even if the phoenix was bound to him through a dark ritual that keeps him in control.

As he is thinking of Fawkes, the phoenix has been slowly breaking free from his control, as the ritual that he had used is weakening. But Fawkes will stay with him after it breaks, as much as Fawkes hate to admit this hummun is very amusing to watch. And it is also the best place to watch as the Mistress of Death rise to the top.

Back to present

As the sounds of morning penetrated her room, Sophie slowly came to consciousness . Almost at once she realized something was different . As she tried to find the difference, she inwardly examined her body . She was in a foetal position, her back hunched, her arms tucked inwardly and her tails wrapped around her

Wait tail? She thought for a minute, oh yea the Inheritance. Sophie takes a second before getting up, trying to remember what happened last night. The feeling of fire travelling through her body, going from her head to her foot.

Summoning all the strength that she has to get up from her bed, she went to the close mirror in her to take a look of herself. Her beautiful raven hair is now with a few shades of red, blue, white and purple steak on it. Her eyes also seem to be even more enhanced than before with the killing curse green to even seem to be glowing. She has 3 beautiful fox tails mixed with the same new shades of colours that is in her hair, wait tails she has more than one tail. And her fox ear is also the same beautiful colours as her tails, and some of her teeth are also a bit sharper, and for nails seem to be able to sharpen into claws.

Sophie looks around thinking that she may have missed something, she tries thinking back to what she could have missed. Then it came to her the person in the black hood. She quickly looks around before landing her eyes on the person in question.

"Ahh, it seems you are awake" Said the person, Sophie wondered for a bit before snapping out of it and saying "Who are you". "Oh, yes so rude of me, I am Death" Said Death. "Wait you mean Death as in Death, the grim reaper Death" Ask Sophie, "Yes, that", "But if you are Death then why are you even talking to me, am I going to die?", "Of course not, I am talking to you because you are my Mistress" Death Said.

"Wait how can I be your Mistress, as i don't even know you" ask Sophie in a wonder, "You see Sophie, you are my Mistress because i chose you to be my Mistress simple as that" Sophie wonder how can that even be simple, "Wait what does this mean for me as your Mistress?" She asked.

"Simple you get to tell me what to do to a point" Death said "like if you want to kill let's say Voldemort or Tom Riddle, I can't as he had made some stuff to try and escape me, but if you find and destroy all of them then you can ask me." "Ok, but why me, why not someone else to be your Master or Mistress" Sophie ask, Death said "it is because of your have a Pure Soul that is needed to form the bond, and not many people have the same, and there was only one other person in the world that had a Pure Soul, you may know him as Merlin you may even be more powerful than him even". That left Sophie wondering for a bit, being compared to merlin is a very big line, how can she ever get as powerful as merlin she thought.

"You also may be interested in that you are also a reincarnation of someone else that is very powerful, that you also will know take a guess" Death said, "Wait, who is that powerful and what reincarnation?" Sophie Asked.

"Well Reincarnation is when someone magically chooses to be reborn simple as that, and who you are is you are the Reincarnation of Morgana Le Fay, with that power and everything that she had" Death finished.

That left Sophie wondering how she can be this powerful if what Death said is the truth, but also why would Death lie to her. "But you still have not answering me why you pick me as your Mistress" "Have I not, sorry, I only ever pick a Master or in your case Mistress, when the world is in need or change, you may wonder why do I want this world to live, as Death would it not be better if it all die" Death saying "Then you be mistaking when there is no other living being what would be Death be not much as you can guess, and also I did made a promise to Magic one of my Daughter to keep her world safe"

Ok Sophie thought that is a lot to take in but still why me, but it does not matter much as she thinks about it but just thinks about the thing she can learn, "Ok, now you have answered my question, what now?" Ask Sophie.

Death seems to smile "Now we started your training as you've already done a lot of what I would have taught you, but I guess I can teach you how to use your Kitsune power and some ancient magic. But first let get your something to eat"

A/N: And here we are another Chapter, and thank you all for all your follow. But now you may be wondering what else may be going on who knows. Now with some of the answers of why she is so powerful

I have said this before, but this story is based on a lot of my fav in other stories and writing in my own way. So don't get mad if you see something other had done

Also updates may be slowing down now that I need to think of more idea of what to do after this but to be sure I will be uploading at least one chapter or update chapter per week.
