Chapter 18: The Return of the Prank King
There were only a few weeks before the O.W.L.s took place. The O.W.L.s were a type of exam that is beneficial if one was to get into a higher level class in their next year. Every fifth year student was studying for this exam to the point where there really wasn't enough free time for them due to how serious these exams were. The group was no exception, as they were all studying for their exams. Heck they even set up group study sessions, just so they could pass their exams and move on to the more advanced courses at the start of their next school year. Right now it was night time and as Naruto was walking outside for some fresh air, he noticed that Fred and George were in the area, comforting a boy a lot younger than them. "What's your name?" Fred asked kindly.
"Michael," the boy replied. Naruto noticed that the boy was sporting red markings on his hand, indicating he had to write lines. The blond could sympathize as he looked at his own hand. The scars may be gone, but that doesn't mean that it was fully gone as it left a prominent mark on the boy due to how Umbridge tortures her own students in the name of punishment. "Your hand's going to be fine, Michael," George replied. "It's not bad as it seems," Naruto said, joining the three. The twins were surprised, but glad that it was Naruto who came by. "Can you see mine?" Naruto asked, crouching down revealing his hand. "The scars have faded out completely. You can hardly see ours anymore and the pain stops after a short while."
Suddenly the moment was ruined. "Ahem," a really annoying voice coughed out. "As I told you once before Mr. Uzumaki, naughty children deserve to be punished." They all looked at Umbridge, as she was looking rather smug. Naruto's eyes were burning with a lot of hate as they turned crimson red, while slitted like a fox, and he wanted to unleash all that hate he held back onto her, but he knew it would only make things worse, so he settled on just glaring at her. She turned to leave, smiling like the sadistic bitch she was. "You know…I've always felt our futures lay outside the world of academic achievement," Fred stated, once Umbitch had left into the darkness. "Fred, I've been thinking exactly the same thing."
This gave Naruto an idea, as he believes it's time he dons the disguise again and he felt it was right if he told the twins his plan. "Guys I have a plan, but…let's talk about it somewhere private," Naruto stated. The three found a private area, where Naruto could talk about his plan. "Right, so you know about the masked man who tormented Umbridge last semester? Well guys, I'm the masked man," he stated. "We figured as much," they both said, which surprised Naruto. "Wait, how did you know he was me?" he asked. "I mean come on, orange paint, the knives, the symbol, plus the whole jumping and fighting schtick, it was definitely you, but we kept it a secret, since that's what you would've wanted anyway," they said, smiling at him. "Right…anyways I believe it's time the prank king came out of retirement, cause I have a plan, and you guys are going to love it," Naruto said, smiling like a Cheshire cat, as he relayed the two of his plans.
Timeskip
It was the week of the O.W.L.s, as everybody was taking their exams in the Great Hall. The clock swung back and forth, as Naruto scanned his test paper. He wasn't particularly a fan of written tests back then and still isn't, but somehow he was managing. Harry and Hermione were pretty focused on the exam, though it looked as if Ron was struggling, given how hard the exam was. Umbridge was there, monitoring everyone as she took a sip of her tea, every once in a while. While Naruto was taking the test, his clone was hiding somewhere in disguise as he and the Weasley twins were waiting to enact their plan. Soon a bang was heard outside of the door, as everyone turned to see what was the commotion. Umbridge decided to check on the commotion, as she made all the way to the door and opened it. Right on time.
A firecracker hovered in front of her face for a short while, before it sped into the room, flying towards the ceiling and exploded like a firework, with blue lights and sparks appearing. Everybody looked at the door in anticipation and it didn't disappoint as the Weasley twins flew in with their brooms, firing some fireworks left, right, and the center, to make the entire room filled with all varieties of color and smoke. Everybody was laughing of course, but what was funny was that one of the firecrackers tormented Malfoy and his cronies, much to the pleasure of practically everyone. The cheers erupted loudly, as the Weasleys flew high into the left corner of the room, smiling as they knew what was going to be their grand finale that would excite everyone.
Right on cue, Naruto or rather the masked man appeared from the smoke as he did a flip in the air before landing gracefully. "Ladies and gentlemen, it is I…The Fox!" he yelled, as everyone cheered loudly. "Thank you! Thank you! But enough about me, I heard this school is being run by a dictator known as Umbitch. Fortunately I know how to handle a problem like this, alright boys light em up!" he yelled, as the twins smirked, knowing what they were going to unleash. The twins released a giant dragon made out of the fireworks, as it bared its teeth, glaring at Umbridge. She widened her eyes and began to run away, as the dragon chased her quickly. The dragon exploded at the doorway creating a shockwave that caused bulletins and rules tumbling down in rips and shreds with shattered glass and wooden framing alongside it. But there was one last surprise, as Naruto activated a seal, causing an explosion of hidden paint bomb that was sealed in a box that conveniently just dropped after the firework dragon exploded. Umbridge was covered in not only soot, but also orange paint and feathers as well, much to everyone's enjoyment. Soon the masked man poofed away, as everybody rushed outside to see that the twins were flying off to the distance.
Naruto and his friends got out with everyone, as they escaped with joy and glory from all that tyrannical bullshit they had to deal with. Everybody was in the courtyard, where the twins continued with the fireworks of course. They soon released one last explosion which was the letter W that soon morphed into the symbol of the Uzumaki clan. Naruto was clapping and cheering, as Hermione turned to him, mouth agape and eyes widened. "It was you, wasn't it?!" she asked, looking more excited instead of pissed. Naruto smirks as he outstretches his arm, while winking at her. "I don't know WHAT you're talking about Ms. Granger," Naruto stated cheekily, as the sparkles faded away. She jumped at him, bringing the blond into a hug that made the boy feel the joy of the school once again. Almost everybody was clapping for the two, even though the two didn't care for the moment. Heck Naruto spun Hermione, as she laughed aloud not caring what others might think. For Harry he was clapping and smiling, until he got himself a deadly premonition, as he discombobulated on the floor, looking dazed and confused. "Harry! Harry, are you alright?!" Naruto asked, as he and his friends managed to get their friend to somewhere private. "Sirius," he murmured. "He's got Sirius." This shocked the three, "I need you to tell me everything," Naruto asked, looking serious.
Note: Welp we are close to the endgame, and for the one who will die at the ministry by the hands of Bellatrix, I decided its not Sirius, but rather someone else. I won't spoil it for you as it will ruin the surprise. But anyways hope you liked this chapter and feel free to review.
