Casper High After school next Day
Danny is sitting on the bench waiting for the coach to call his name. Seeing, Kwan, Dale and Dash are all trying out. Danny notices Easton a junior talking to Vince senior captain who nods.
"Danny" Vince calls out. Danny got up and looks at Vince "Lets see what you can do?" grin Vince. Tossing Danny the football he tightens it in his hand feeling the roughness of the ball. Looking at one of the players at the end zone. Danny takes two steps and tosses the ball as hard he can.
"Whoa" Dale and Kwan said while Dash rolls his eyes.
Vince raises an eye and sees one of the players running and catches the football right on the end zone. Seeing it's a touch down he turns to Danny who did it from the twenty yard line. Two steps from the bench.
"Dam" muttered another senior. Just seeing that coming from freshmen made some of the seniors wonder how much better will he get when he gets older.
"Yea" Vince nods. He hasn't seen an arm like that in years ever since Brandon played years ago with his uncle.
"He's good has a slim muscular build" whisper a junior.
The coach writing this down nods as he looks at Danny who walks on the twenty yard line with the others. The other players soon got in line as they wait. Vince looks around everyone and nods "Blue thirty two, blue thirty two HUT".
Danny runs behind Vince and pretends to grab the ball as he runs he ducks under a sophomore. He continues to run he spins to his right missing a senior trying to tackle him down who goes flying landing face first in the dirt. Danny is on the thirty line and soon turns seeing the other players not open. Vince spots Danny and throws the ball at him. As Danny caught it he turns and ducks as another senior goes flying.
'Mom thank you for all that training. But Adam sure helped me as well' thought Danny. Quickly sprinting he makes it on the forty yard line soon the fifty. Doing a quick fake to the left making a junior lose his balance. Than the forty to the thirty, twenty and the ten yard quickly looking to his left. Danny sees two and one on the right. Jumping forward he is hit on the right making him groan.
Crashing on the ground Danny sees he landed on the ten yard. As he got up he dusts himself off and helps the senior who tackle him up. Some of the other season players are panting trying to catch up with Danny.
"Dam he's fast".
"Why did you jump? You could have made it?" ask a junior.
Danny shrugs his shoulders "If I would have continue good chance I would fumble with three of them next to me". The three players nods seeing where Danny is going with this making the junior nod. "One of them would get possession of the ball we lose yards. So decided to dive for a touch down with the ball underneath me" shrug Danny.
Vince hearing this nods. "Like that we are next to goal for a possible touchdown or field kick. Very clever" smile Vince. Liking this new year batch of freshmen he hopes Casper high won't take away all the sports yet.
Looking at the coach who seems impress "Second string running back and third string quarterback."
Danny shrugs his shoulders but Vince shakes his head while other seniors agrees with him. Juniors stand behind Danny nodding his head agreeing with Vince. "Nope I want him second on both" Vince folding his arms. The coach rolls his eyes while the assistant coach frowns he agrees with Vince.
"Danny is tall has a good slim muscular build but Dash is more buff" the coach states but Danny snorts.
"That his father probably donated a nice check for the Crows" grin Danny. The coach stops writing and looks at Danny with a narrow look. 'Go figure that Dash's father would donate money. He is part of the P.T.A but also his uncle was on the council' thought Danny. Knowing Brandon bumped Dash father off the council of Amity Park.
"Look Danny..." the coach looks down to Danny's name "Fenton" clicking his teeth seeing who just tried out for the team. He has heard about the so call genius boy of the town's paranormal researcher. But to see him standing in front of him the coach can say those rumors are true.
"Whoa it's him".

Danny grins seeing some of the older students mumble and talk to the others. Seeing they know who he is, Danny nods and walks towards the bench. Vince listening to Easton who is talking to him. As Vince is about to speak Danny spoke first.
"I'll take it coach Coast. But Dash will come up short but also in size" chuckle Danny. The older players all break out laughing the assistant coach grins and nods his head. He likes his attitude but maybe he might be able to change the Coast his mind.
By the time football try outs were over everyone went to see who made it. Danny is tying his shoe laces he notices Kwan, Dale and Dash high five each other. Chuckling seeing they made it on the team.
"Danny" everyone turns to Vince who tosses him a letter men jacket. Freshmen are shock to see the captain of the football team giving Danny a letter men jacket when the freshmen are suppose to wait after their first game. Dash narrows his eyes angry to see this happening to Danny of all people instead of him. He was suppose to be the next lead quarterback after Vince graduates.
Easton clears his throat getting Dash attention who flinches to see the narrow look. With the other Juniors on the team looking at Dash and surrounding him making him nervous. Dash turns to Kwan and Dale who shake their heads not wanting to get involve.
"As of today and right now you wear that. Welcome to CASPER HIGH CROW FOOTBALL TEAM" smile Vince. The older players claps while Danny smiles and puts the letter men jacket on. Feeling strange on him he shrugs his shoulders. Grabbing his bag he begins to walk towards the side walk.
"No way. He made it"
"I heard Vince gave it to him"
"A freshmen already wearing one".
"This breaks all tradition in Casper High"
Danny ignores the whispers the finger pointing the stares. As he turns on the side walk he sees Paulina, Star, Valerie and Tiffany jumping with joy. Chuckling seeing they must have made it to become cheerleaders. They had to wait for a day to know if they were in or not. As he continues to walk, Danny stops and stares at two people.
'No way' blink Rebecca.
Connie narrows her eyes on Danny. Seeing the number on the letter men Jacket being a ten. She knows Vince would never give out that number because of his uncle who played with Brandon Draven many years ago.
Danny walks pass them as he jumps on his skateboard he rides out of their line of sight.
"Rebecca tell me everything you know about him" demanded Connie.
Nasty Burger Later
Sam sighs and shakes her head "No Tucker. I just think we should try a movie marathon of horror this weekend. I mean what's the harm and Mikey close your mouth you are going to attract flies". Still trying to get Tucker and Mikey aboard with her plan she notices Mikey staring at one of the jocks. Tucker seeing the jock blinks seeing he knows the person.
"No way that's Danny and he is wearing a Letterman jacket" Tucker mouth drop open wide in shock. Turning to Mikey who nods while Sam blinks and turns to Danny. She sees the red and white jacket looks good on him with the black shirt and dark blue jeans.
"So I guess he made the team" Sam shrug her shoulders. Still staring at Danny wearing those dark colors watching him she notices a braided black bracelet on his wrist.
"That and freshmen can only wear a letter men jacket after their first game." Mikey fixes his glasses while Tucker and Sam looks at him. "Danny is wearing number ten. That is Vince Lisalle uncle number when he played with that number with Brandon Draven".
Both Sam and Tucker blink knowing that name.
"Wait didn't Brandon Draven donate all that stuff to the music class. His wife Sofia is also the new music teacher" nods Sam. Mikey frowns and nods while Tucker rolls his eyes on his best friend seeing he upset that the school won't teach another computer class.
"Hey he's taking his meal to go" Sam got up while Tucker groans and Mikey sighs.
As Danny exits the nasty burger he tosses some fries into his mouth.
"Danny wait up" Sam shouts. Standing in front of Danny she turns to Tucker and Mikey breathing and panting fast. Making Sam roll her eyes she turns to Danny throwing another french fry in his mouth. "This weekend we are planning a horror movie marathon at my place". Sam sees Danny throwing another french fry in his mouth. Seeing no answer from him instead he's throwing fries in his mouth.
"Tucker take Mikey back inside" Danny continues to throw another french fry in his mouth. Tucker looks confuse while Mikey blinks and for Sam she raises an eye wondering why Danny doesn't want the two here with them talking. "I guess they know about your money?" chuckle Danny.
Tucker and Mikey look confuse. Sam flinches for the past few months she been trying to get them to come over her house to watch horror movies for the weekend. Seeing sooner or later they will find out about her family. But every time she tries Mikey whines about some national geographic special on television. Tucker complaining about new tech software and upgrading.
"Tucker take Mikey inside" Sam narrows her eyes on Danny seeing him throw another french fry in his mouth. Tucker blinks and nods as he helps Mikey back inside the Nasty burger. "How did you find out about the gym burning incident?" demanded Sam.
Danny raises an eye "I have sources and resources at my disposal that other people don't have". Sam didn't like the cryptic answer that Danny gave her. It sounded so bad coming from Danny it made him look like a outcast which made Sam shutter in excitement for some reason. "But you're parents meddling into my parents research has caused us problems. They delayed the portal activation until next year". Danny throws the empty bag of fries into the thrash bin.
But gives Sam a glare.
"Yea my parents don't listen to anyone-" Sam tried to explain herself but Danny didn't let her.
"I said it before apple doesn't fall far from the tree" Danny narrows his eyes on Sam making her flinch. "I thought you said, you wanted to make changes when you got to Casper High why haven't you? I guess the apple really doesn't fall from the tree" chuckle Danny.
Sam blinks wondering what is that suppose to mean. She dislike to be compared to her parents and seeing what Danny said "I'll take that as complaint?" blink Sam. Danny chuckles while shaking his head at Sam. "Guess it was!" Seeing Danny turning his back on her he gets on his skate board and rides back home.
Danny grins shaking his head "Sorry Sam but I need you to get Rebecca and Connie attention. Divide and conquer." As Danny continues to rides on his skate board he knows those two will cause him problems. But Danny knows Sam wants to change Casper high too. "While they are too busy trying to stop me. They won't see you coming from a mile away. " With already trying to stop him Rebecca will have to stretch everything and everyone thin to change Casper high but keep Danny and Sam out.
As Danny turns the corner and goes even faster. "By that time Rebecca will take charge and Connie out of the way when she graduates. Once that happens Rebecca will start her own projects but I will be far ahead of her" grin Danny.
Fentonworks.
Once Danny enters the house he places the skate board near the door. Walking into the kitchen to grab a drink of water. Seeing Jazz doing her homework she blinks at Danny.
"No" Jazz blinks in disbelief. Seeing what Danny is wearing she knows the rules but yet Danny has it and the number. She shakes her head wondering why did Vince do it. Than the door from the lab swings open as Jack yawns and rubs his eyes. Maddie is right behind Jack with a small stack of papers. But when both parents saw Danny.
"You made the team" Jack and Maddie said at the same time.
Danny nods "Yea second string running back and third string quarter back. By next year I will be first string running back or second string quarterback" putting the bottle of water away. Danny walks to his mom seeing the stacks of paper. Looking at the equation he blinks and shakes his head. "This makes no sense?".
Jack nods "I know son. Maddie and I have been working on these equations for almost three hours". Jack sighs and shakes his head while Danny blinks at the temperature needing to keep the portal cool on first activation.
"We been brainstorming on what we can use" sigh Maddie. Watching Danny taking another sheet he skims through the lines but stops. Blinking he smiles at his parents.
"Liquid helium exists in a liquid form only at the extremely low temperature of of minus four hundred and fifty two. Liquid is nitrogen in a liquid state at low temperature around minus three hundred" blink Danny. Looking over the equations, Maddie eyes widen and turns to Jack who blinks.
"With liquid helium running through the portal at first start up it will cool the portal to stable levels. Danny my boy you are a certified mad genius" laugh Jack. Maddie ruffles Danny hair making him laugh while Jazz rolls her eyes at her family.
"Come on dad. You would have figured it out sooner or later" laugh Danny. Looking at the time he sighs and nods "I'm going to shower and talk to Emberlynn".
Danny's room
With a towel around his neck, Danny continues to dry his hair. Glancing his monitor seeing the video chat on, Danny accepts the invite and soon she appears on the monitor but blinks at Danny.
"Bath night" giggle Emberlynn. Seeing Danny roll his eyes and walks towards his desk. "Aren't you cold put on a shirt". Emberlynn rolls her eyes but continues to stare at Danny who laughs.
"Sorry. Didn't have a chance to do all my laundry and no it wasn't bath night" Danny rolls his eyes. Popping his shoulder making him sigh in relief "I just came back from my try outs and needed a shower I stink" reply Danny with the towel still around his neck he still drying his hair.
"Well are you going to tell me. Did you make the cut or not?" Emberlynn places her hands under her chin. Looking at Danny who grabs his jacket, Emberlynn blinks. "No way you made it" Emberlynn giggles.
Danny nods "Yea I made such a great impression to the captain he tossed me this letter man jacket. Freshmen can only wear them after their first game. But I guess I'm a exception." Danny and Emberlynn laughs.
"So any problem with the rich goth girl?" Emberlynn grabs a nail filer fixing one of her nails as she hears Danny groans. "What now?" Emberlynn stops and blinks seeing Danny leaning back and places the towel on his shoulders. Trying her hardest to keep looking Danny at his face instead of his muscles.
"She tried to invite me again with Tucker and Mikey to her place to watch some horror movies" Danny rolls his eyes while Emberlynn blinks. "Yea I know" Danny sighs. Emberlynn rolls her eyes seeing what Danny turned down.
"But you like horror movies" blink Emberlynn. Danny nods but Emberlynn sees Danny sighs seeing something is wrong she frowns and gives Danny a worry look. "What's up tell me why didn't you go over with them to watch the movies?". Emberlynn took a deep breath trying to relax her nerves. Hearing what Danny has said about Sam a few times.
"I do but I prefer someone else company to watch the horror movies with" Danny smiles at Emberlynn making her roll her eyes playfully with a giggle. "I still remember that movie night of Femalien marathon where you jumped into my lap with the blanket over you" Danny chuckles making Emberlynn turn red.
"We were nine years old" Emberlynn mutters rolling her eyes. But sees Danny laughing even more as she folds her arms. "It's not funny I can't believe we sneaked downstairs to watch that movie. I had nightmares for days" Emberlynn rolls her eyes but sighs. That was the least of her worries she was grounded for a month and still had trouble sleeping.
"I think even to this day my arm still gets numb" chuckle Danny. Emberlynn turns red and looks away as Danny chuckles "Sam will be useful" said Danny.
Emberlynn raised an eye staring at Danny sighing and staring at her. "Useful? Hmm sounds to me baby-pop is brewing a scheme. When did you start scheming but where did you learn it from?" Emberlynn giggles with a grin on her face.
"From my best friend she is the queen of scheming" reply Danny with a smirk.
Emberlynn rolls her eyes playfully and shakes her head at Danny. But listening to Danny for the past couple of days seeing what Rebecca might be planning in the future and what Connie has in store for everyone for their first year.
"So you are going to use Sam as a diversion" Emberlynn nods her head seeing what Danny is going to do as she leans further back in her chair "That is so not like you baby-pop. I'm seeing a bad side of you that I usually don't see" giggle Emberlynn. "I like" Emberlynn smiles seductively towards Danny who chuckles.
"Maybe someday you will see more of that side of me" grin Danny. Watching Emberlynn blush she looks away as the two continue to talk they see it's half past ten.
Casper High Few weeks later first game.
As Danny is sitting on the bench reading a book while glancing at the game. He turns his attention back to the assistant coach who scratches his head. Seeing the head coach arguing with the players. Danny close the book and got up.
"Danny your in" shouted the coach turning to Danny and blinks. Danny already placed his helmet on as he runs on the field. Seeing it's the fourth quarter and they are done by a field goal. Danny makes into the huddle as Vince looks at Danny with a nod.
"Alright we are going with a hail Mary far down right with-" Vince stops talking seeing Danny shake his head. Some of the juniors and seniors blink while the sophomore's blink at Danny.
"No. They are expecting us to do a hail Mary it's the same play they used on us the second quarter twice. That's how they got the interception from Dash." The Crow players turn to the field seeing a familiar play. "Vince trust me I been watching the plays closely. Pass the ball behind someone and run behind again in the line of scrimmage catching the ball. Someone will be free for the catch once you have the football again" Danny sees the seniors blink while Vince sees Danny how much he pays attention he even made improvements on their plays during practice.
"Do it. Everyone follow Danny play" order Vince.
Everyone nods as they turn to the clock seeing they have forty five seconds. They are on the fourth down and with no more time outs left. The players line up as Danny stares ahead he listens to Vince.
"HUT".
Danny takes off. Vince passes the ball back and runs as Easton catches the ball he throws it to Vince again who is free. Easton is tackled by two leaving Vince open just for enough time to pass. Vince looking at the field he sees Danny way in the forty yard line free. Throwing the ball everyone watches the ball soar over. With the ball soaring players are running. Danny turns around he jumps and stretches his arm has high he can.
"CATCH" bringing his arm down to his chest holding the football he lands and quickly sprints.
The announcer shouts "Freshmen running back rookie Danny Fenton catches the ball high in the air. He must have jumped at least three feet in the year. What a catch" as the announcer takes a deep breath watching the game. "In the forties, thirty look at Danny go twenty".
Danny sees someone coming to his left glancing to his right he begins to run towards the line backer on his team. "GO DANNY". Kwan passes in front of Danny aiming at the pirate player bringing him down. Giving Danny space to run in the ten yard.
"TOUCH DOWN CROWS. WHAT A COMEBACK BEHIND WIN FOR THEIR FIRST GAME" the announcer shouts while parents erupt cheering.
Danny stops and looks at the clock seeing the time go to zero he laughs and nods. "Argh" seeing his teammates jumping on him they are celebrating their first win against the Pirates.
Casper High next day
Everyone is talking about the win for the Crows. Seeing that Danny called for a different play but also caught the pass making the touch down giving the Crows the game winning score needed.
"That's him".
"Yea. It's him"
"Man everyone wants to be him"
Danny smiles and nods at his parents while Jazz slams the door mumbling walking towards the school. Danny rolls his eyes and gives his parents one final wave as he begins to walk towards Casper. He hears people whispering as he was talking to his parents.
"Danny" Easton shouts his name. Danny turning to him sees him waving towards the other players as he walks towards them he notices something off. "Good call yesterday but I heard you were reading a science textbook on the bench." Danny nods while Easton raise an eye "How the hell do you manage to read a science textbook and pay attention to the game all at the same time".
Danny rolls his eyes "Multitask. My best friend taught me how to multitask she is quite persuasive and tempting on certain activities" chuckle Danny. Seeing Easton whose jaw dropped and the rest of the older players glance each other with grins.
"HahahhAA" Easton laugh while Vince jaw drops in shock but soon breaks out laughing.
"Danny you are a riot" laugh Vince. Nodding his head "You got any more plays show them to assistant coach Harbor". Vince and the other players nods but Danny opens his bag passing it to Vince who blinks at the binder.
"Already done it last night talking to Emberlynn. The front are new improve plays the back are the old ones." Vince opens the binder and sees the plays. Easton looks over his shoulder nodding while others do the same. "Also we have a spy" Danny narrows his eyes.
"Hmm" Vince closes the binder and turns to Easton. "Shit. You were right Easton some of those plays the Pirates used were perfect counters".
Easton nods "Not just the pirates but also the Vultures in the past four years, Vince. Every play we use they counter." Easton turns to Danny who nods as he pulls out a flash drive and gives it to Easton. "So what's this?" ask Easton.
"I already compiled a list of all people that would hand over our plays to the other team. Surprisingly we have students here with family from other schools" reply Danny. Cracking his neck everyone turns to Danny hearing the pops as he takes a deep breath he yawns. "Sorry up late last night".
"Emberlynn" chuckle Vince. Elbowing Easton and another junior.
Danny chuckles and nods. "Yea I let that slip. But next time it won't happen". Soon the bell rings and everyone began to walk to class.
Lancer Class
When Danny got there he saw Dash, Kwan and Dale with their jackets on. Rolling his eyes seeing after their first game they are officially in the team. Danny has been wearing his for weeks now.
"Danny" Dale and Kwan shouts his name making him roll his eyes. "The one who called the play and got us our first win of the season" Kwan points to Danny. Dale started to clap with Paulina and the rest of the new cheerleaders are cheering. Walking to his seat Danny shakes his head and sighs.
"Enough Kwan, how do you feeling taking that hit yesterday also thanks for the cover" reply Danny. Taking his seat Dale nods pointing to Kwan who laughs like it was nothing.
"Fine. But good thing you ran pass me I didn't see that running back behind you" chuckle Kwan.
Danny nods as he takes out his text books his cell phone goes off. Reaching into his pocket seeing Emberlynn asking him if he's ok. Danny narrows his eyes and got up as he walks out of the classroom. He sees Lancer raise an eye as Lancer is about to reprimand Danny.
"Ghost Business" reply Danny. No one said nothing they all remain where they were staring at Danny who walks outside the class. As Sam, Tucker and Mikey turns to Danny walking out of the classroom. They see Danny dialing on his cellphone, Tucker wonders what kind of phone seeing it has a touch screen.
Danny hears the phone ringing, ringing soon the click "What's wrong?" ask Danny concern. Pacing back and forth Danny notices, Sam, Tucker and Mikey staring at him. Glaring at the three he slams the door shut on their faces. His classmates blink while Lancer raised an eye wondering what was that about.
Emberlynn sighs "Just a weird dream kind of felt real. I was worried that you might be experience something". Danny didn't like to hear Emberlynn worried voice as he walks back into Lancer room. Everyone blinks at Danny on his cell phone.
"Mr. Fenton I would-" Lancer flinches at the dark glare at him. Some of his classmates has seen Danny mad but this is different. Sam shutters thinking about that incident in sixth grade. Mikey glances at Tucker who looks confuse.
Star and the others blink and give each other a nod asking Danny later if he is fine. Dale gives Kwan a nod thinking the same thing as well while Dash rolls his eyes.
As Danny pulls out a binder out of his bag. He walks back outside "Dreams" that's what his classmates heard when Danny shut the door behind him. Again once outside he listens to Emberlynn.
"Yea just weird dreams. Dad said rumors about a ghost name-"
"Nocturn" Danny interrupts Emberlynn hearing her silence on the phone. Walking towards the library he writes something down on the paper. "Amorpho left my parents with information of ghost in the ghost zone". The librarian nods seeing what Danny written down as she passes Danny a note on the location he needs.
"Great" mutter Emberlynn.
"Nocturn is the ghost of sleep and dreaming. He commands an army of Sleepwalkers to do his bidding. Anything odd?" ask Danny. Seeing the books he needs he grabs three and walks to the librarian who raised an eye. But she shrugs her shoulders and dates them for Danny to return. As he grabs the three books and walks back to class.
"No. Dad didn't notice anything odd and mom is worried. She heard me mumble in my sleep like something was bothering me" Emberlynn sighs while Danny raise an eye hearing this. Emberlynn does not mumble in her sleep. She is a heavy sleeper from his past experience sleeping in the same room as her when they were younger.
"That's why I'm calling you because I saw you in my dream right before I woke up" Emberlynn says very worried. But Danny raised an eye and chuckles making Emberlynn confuse. "What's so funny?" ask Emberlynn irradiated that Danny isn't taking this serious.
"Dreaming of me. Awww know I need to know what you were dreaming about" laugh Danny. If Danny could see Emberlynn her face is cherry red "So this dream of yours anything weird about it?". Outside of his class listening to Lancer her hears Emberlynn sigh.
"Yes weird. It's like my dreams were being seen or watched like someone was looking for something" Danny listens to Emberlynn as he takes a deep breath he nods to himself.
"I'm fine. I'll look into this personally, Emberlynn just relax and rest" smile Danny. Looking up he takes a deep breath wondering what is going on.
"I will Danny. You always know when to cheer me up" Emberlynn hangs up. Danny takes a deep breath trying to control his feelings but at the same time it feels like it's not his feelings but Emberlynn. Feeling her scared, Danny takes another deep breath calming himself down. Trying to feel some sort of connection to push it.
"She calm" whisper Danny. Turning to his classroom Danny walks in while Lancer raised an eye. "After a dry and unappetizing steak dinner in the dining hall, Holden gets into a snowball fight with some of the other Pencey boys." Lancer mouth drop wide in shock as Danny classmates blink. How did Danny know the answer but the question when he wasn't in the classroom. Danny taking his seat opens up the first book from the library he just borrowed.
Lancer opens his mouth about to ask another question Danny already knew he was going to ask well maybe.
"After the excursion, Mal goes off to look for a bridge game, and Ackley sits on Holden's bed squeezing pimples and concocting stories about a girl he claims to have had sex with the summer before" Danny looks at Lancer with a serious look "Read the book during summer. Besides Emberlynn read the book as well we compared notes".
Danny begins to read about dreams and what dreams come from.
Emberlynn Home LATER
When Emberlynn got home she sees her dad in his ghost from floating talking to Elena. Seeing they get quiet Emberlynn sighs seeing this has something to do with her nightmare last night.
"Alright spill" demanded Emberlynn. Folding her arms watching her father turn back to normal with a sigh. "Look it was one bad dream. I don't think I'm in any real danger and dad you said you don't know if Nocturn is with Krang".
Vlad sighs "Yes that is true. From what I gathered and heard he hasn't got himself involve." Emberlynn nods as she begins to walk up the stairs to her room. Vlad stops her cold in her tracks "BUT". Emberlynn turns to her parents while Elena looks worry, Vlad has a serious look. "He's after you meaning he wants to know why Krang wants you or to possibly eliminate you".
Emberlynn nods as she walks up the stairs to her room. Elena turns to Vlad who looks confuse "She must have called Danny" whisper Elena. Vlad flinches wondering why Emberlynn would risk Danny life. "In the past Danny has always protected Emberlynn" spoke Elena.
"Yes but this is different this isn't a game, Elena" Vlad shakes his head but sees Elena giving Vlad a warm smile making him confuse. As he throws his hands up in the air not wanting to fight with his wife. "Teenagers" sigh Vlad.
That Evening Emberlynn room.
"HAhahahah" Emberlynn slams her hand on the desk laughing on what Danny did. "Are you serious" seeing Danny roll his eyes on the screen. "Half your class blush about the sex part. I mean the book wasn't so bad kind of lame and the main character whined so much" shrug Emberlynn. Leaning back on her chair seeing Danny sigh.
"Yea but what I said kind gave people the wrong idea" shrug Danny. Emberlynn looks at Danny with a confuse look seeing him scratching the back of his head with a nervous laugh. "Told them read the book during the summer. But we compared notes someone namely Tucker" Danny rolls his eyes while Emberlynn soon starts to smile. "Said what kind of notes".
Emberlynn mouth drops wide in shock while Danny nods and answers "Told him the notes the geeks look up at home alone". Covering her face and groaning seeing one of Danny's classmates thinking about something else. She sees Danny shrug his shoulders making her roll her eyes.
"Really baby-pop" Emberlynn groans.
"Whatever let them think what they want. I can careless what the goth, tech geek or traitor thinks" shrug Danny. Emberlynn blinks at Danny looking at him she moves closer to her monitor while Danny nods.
"Traitor?" blink Emberlynn. Wondering what is going on she knows that someone from Casper high has been giving away the Crow's plays in the past four years. But Danny thinks it's been going much more further back. "Mikey?" blink Emberlynn. Wondering why Danny called him a traitor but also what did Danny uncover.
Danny nods "Yea. From what I observe and notice Mikey gets jealous when my name pops around school as a genius. He's smart too but like a geek he doesn't play sports or joins any social events in Casper high. From what I heard he supports Rebecca plans in the upcoming future. He was hoping the music class would be gone and replace with another science class or a computer class" shrug Danny.
Emberlynn mouth drops wide in shock to hear this. Wondering about the rich girl Sam Mason her eyes widen while Danny nods. He set up Sam to fail knowing Mikey will report everything to Rebecca who might tell her older sister Connie. Meaning Sam is just a cover and when Mikey tells Rebecca. They will be focusing on Sam trying to change the issues while Danny is doing his own thing.
"Danny you are two maybe three steps ahead of everyone" Emberlynn blinks seeing Danny chuckle. She nods her head she never thought Danny being this diabolical is she really a bad influence on Danny or is Danny really a mad genius that no one gives credit to. "What will that do to their friendship? Does Tucker his best friend must know what Mikey is thinking?".
"No" Danny sighs and shakes his head making Emberlynn eyes widen in shock. Wondering what Danny is planning or knows? "Don't know and don't care." reply Danny making Emberlynn blink not caring about his friends. Emberlynn stops and shakes her head seeing that Danny really doesn't see them as friends more like classmates. Sam sees Danny as a different individual who tries to get him to join her side for the right causes.
"Sam needs to understand that she choose to hang out with Mikey and she needs to learn that some people are just looking out for themselves. Tucker he's going to be devastated that Mikey did this but Tucker enjoy hanging out with Sam. He actually found out yesterday she is rich" shrug Danny.
Emberlynn nods. She told Danny everything she knows about the Mason family. How they got rich who are her parents, grandparents and more. But also on what Sam did to a gym in a private school seeing she snapped with the pressure mounting on her. Her parents were slowly bringing into the family business but she couldn't handle it. Her other grandparents think they should waited when she was a teenager instead nine years old.
"It's getting late. I'll text you the morning" smile Emberlynn.
"Of course sweet dreams Emberlynn" Danny mouths something to her making her confuse seeing he didn't speak it but mouth it to her. As the video feed ends, Emberlynn sighs and drags herself to bed.
Middle of the night Emberlynn dream
Emberlynn is tossing and turning soon she finds herself in her room awake. But feels strange walking around she the room changes to her living room. Narrowing her eyes she takes a deep breath. A blue ring appears around her waist transforming her into her ghost form. Grabbing her guitar from her back she looks around the area.
"So the rumors are try. Another halfa but you were born a halfa" the voice is all around. "So is that why he's interested in you?".
Ember looks around the area trying to find the voice. Turning the knob on her guitar to a flame she plays the note illuminating the area. "Where are you" demanded Ember angry. Looking around the room seeing no one soon the room started to shake and everything started to change. Blinking seeing part of the living room gone or her home is broken into sections.
"Hmm it seems to me you are trying to keep everything together. But afraid of who will come for you" the voice got louder. "You should be scared of him he's been trying to recruit me for his crusade for many years now.".
Ember gets angry looking around she sees a tall shadow behind the fireplace. Playing a note a stream of fire lights up the room and the fireplace. Ember narrows her eyes on a very tall ghost, clearly over 7 feet tall,. His body looks like the night sky, dark black with shining dots in it like stars. His head is an oval shape with a point at the bottom, crowned with two curved purple goat-like horns on each side of his head. He has huge Spider like red eyes and he has a slightly curved hairline scar along the side of his face, going through his right eye. His fangs are pointed with a small goatee.
"Who are you" demanded Ember. Glaring at the ghost who chuckles at her.
"Someone who has his own plans for the ghost zone. For all the ghost to be dreaming."
Ember flinches "Nocturn" looking around the room she turns to kitchen floating broken apart in sections. Seeing the green, purple and black sky she shakes her head. She can't be in the ghost zone.
"You heard of me" Nocturn smiles at Ember. "I must say not many ghost know who I am". Impress by Ember seeing she knows who he is.
Ember snorts "Danny told me about you" hiss Ember. Nocturn watching Ember raise an eye but soon starts to laugh. Glaring at Nocturn wondering what is so funny she charges towards him with her guitar. As she swings Nocturn fades away making her look around.
"Ahh yes the human boy you have an attraction to" Nocturn chuckles making Ember flinch. "I wonder what he will feel after some terrible nightmares I send him." Ember shakes her head. Thinking of all the worse possible scenarios she closes her eyes feeling scared that Danny will hate her.
"STAY AWAY FROM DANNY" shouted Ember. Seeing Nocturn appear in the living room taunting her she swings her guitar but Nocturn just fades away.
"Pathetic. I don't see why Krang is so interested in you" Nocturn appears in front of Ember. Grabbing her from the neck lifting her off the ground he snaps his fingers making the fire place fire turn green. "Now it's time to see the nightmares you are afraid of" as she struggles to break free. Nocturn throws Ember to the fire.
Closing her eyes she thinks back on what Danny told her before going to bed. "Of course sweet dreams Emberlynn. I care too much to lose you" Ember shuts her eyes seeing what Danny told her.
'He cares too much for me' Emberlynn with her eyes still shut tight. 'I never got to say more to him how I feel' as he inches closer to the fire she hears someone call her.
"EMBER"
SIDE STEP
"Huh" Danny blinks and wakes up. Looking around seeing his room floating but also split into many parts. Thinking on what he read before "Dreams are powerful subconscious events to help you better understand your own emotions. Your mind is always working and sorting out information to come up with solutions". Danny gets out of bed looking around he sees a purple door.
"A realm door?" blink Danny seeing it again but remember the first time he saw them long ago when he was a child. The room started to collapse, Danny ran towards the door standing in front of it. Thinking back on what he's been reading. "A series of events and images that happen in your mind when you are sleeping. Our brain processes information through visual imagery to form hidden connections. So their a connection between me and Emberlynn!."
Danny spoke thinking about the book he's been reading about dreams. "Connections" muttered Danny. Opening the purple door he stops feeling something. Feeling so many emotions but also fear being the biggest one.
"Ember" pushing the door wide Danny rushes in as he runs down the dark tunnel seeing a small flickering blue light. 'She's in danger'. Danny closes his eyes sticking his arm out his bag materialize in his hand. His pajamas change to his regular clothes "All dreams are a person desire from their mind. Their ambitions those who can control their dreams are Lucid dreamers. But do I have something else?"
"CAH"
Danny hears a small crow call out in the darkness and the light stops flickering. Seeing a large mausoleum in the distance submerge in water. Hearing some flapping above Danny he sees feathers falling down and the light gets brighter. As Danny hears the flapping stops. Danny jumps through the light as he soars he looks around to see him and Emberlynn in the past. But realizing something that did happen, Danny eyes widen.
'These are her dreams?' thought Danny. Looking down he sees an endless stream of dreams but soon hears something else. Looking around seeing the purple door, Danny charge towards the door. Pushing it open he sees a tall ghost holding Ember by her neck throwing her towards the fire place.
"EMBER" still charging towards Ember he catches her before she hits the fire as he lands on his feet holding Ember in his arms.
"Danny" Ember whispers and passes out. Danny watches a blue ring appears around her midsection changing her back to Emberlynn. Holding Emberlynn close to his body he takes a deep breath.
"I understand why you are scared of telling me. I can never hate you my feelings will always grow for you" Danny rubs his face affectionately with Emberlynn face making her stir. Seeing Emberlynn eyes slowly opening and groaning. "Hey wake up sleeping beauty you're going to miss my battle" smile Danny.
"interesting how did you get here?" Nocturn blinks and stares at Danny who stands up holding Emberlynn in his arms. Seeing she is slowly stirring she looks at Danny blinking and turns to Nocturn who looks angrily. "How did you get here?" demanded Nocturn yelling at Danny.
Danny chuckles and soon everyone heard a "CAH". Nocturn he flinches he looks at Danny and takes a step back seeing a shadow of come sort coming from him. Staring at the human in front of him he sees something else that he has seen in some Observants dreams and nightmare. But also he feels something coming from him. Something ancient and powerful but feels more.
"You two share a connection? HOW?" demanded Nocturn. Realizing what this is and seeing if they have it do they know who she is?
Danny chuckles and looks at Emberlynn with a smile who is staring at Danny with a smile. Nodding his head Danny turns to Nocturn who demands to know. "Lahkesis" answer Danny making Nocturn flinch.
"Well this changes everything" Nocturn stares at the two. Just hearing the ghost of fate name made him wonder what she has plan for the two. "I guess I need to get rid the two of you" Nocturn narrows his eyes and soon the whole room started to shake, Danny places Emberlynn on her feet. Reaching in his bag he pulls out a blaster and hits the button.
Nocturn forming an ecto beam in his hand and aims at the two. As the blast hits the target creating smoke making Nocturn nod. He notices something move in the smoke narrowing his eyes he sees Danny in metal suit.
"Something my parents worked on to battle some ghost but I tweaked it a bit. The Fenton peeler" spoke Danny taking a step forward. Covered in armor half his face is in a visor with his hair out. Danny sees Nocturn narrow his eyes on him.
"How is that you are able to control this much of her dream?" demanded Nocturn. He has seen some humans control parts of their dreams but to see someone this young, Nocturn shakes his head. Their is more he doesn't know about Ember now this human.
"Generally speaking dreams are a hybrid product of your personal and private experiences. Always prioritize your true feelings and reactions first" spoke Danny. Charging towards Nocturn with a blaster in his hand. The ghost of dreams fades from existences as Danny closes his eyes he dives roll to his left side missing the Nocturn blast.
"ARGH" Nocturn is blasted back looking up he sees Danny charging towards him with a blade glowing green. Danny slashing vertically Nocturn floats back but Danny grins and points the blaster right in front of Nocturn. "ARGHH".
Emberlynn watches in awe to see Danny standing his ground against Nocturn. Watching the ghost of dreams fading, Danny walks back to Emberlynn looking around the room scanning the area.
"You're toying with me" Danny muttered standing in front of Emberlynn making her blink. Than Nocturn appears in front of Danny and Emberlynn soon the whole room shifted. Danny deactivates the Fenton Peeler. Lifting his hand up he snaps his fingers making the room stop and soon it change back to normal.
"This is very interesting." Nocturn blinks to see how well he can control his and her dreams? "I must say to see Lahkesis work it's impressive. But you are right I am toying with you and to attack you now with her next to you." Nocturn shakes his head. "No it would be foolish mistake to attack you two".
Danny snorts "It would, Ember brought me here. Our connection allows me to help her even protect her even in dreams" Nocturn hearing this narrow his eyes on Emberlynn who stands close to Danny.
"I see. So the connection is there protecting each other. But you aren't strong enough to protect her from what's coming" Nocturn smiles and soon he shifts into something that made Emberlynn flinch. Danny walks forward glaring at Nocturn slowly changing his form.
"Not scared of you Krang" Danny narrows his eyes and soon the room went complete dark. Nocturn who transformed into Krang but flinches to see Danny looking different something he hasn't seen. Something deep inside of Danny. Emberlynn she blinks wondering who told Danny about Krang. She knows for a fact his parents knows bits and pieces and that they didn't tell Danny much.
"What is this? This feels like noo it's not possible it's not" whisper Nocturn changing back to his original form. The ghost of dreams blink and feels a ghost long lost inside of Danny wanting to be free. but feels a power coming from him that rivals the ghost zone. "Hmm it seems I won't join no side of this war yet". Nocturn slowly sinks to the floor "Pleasant dreams to the both of you."
Emberlynn room
"GASP" Emberlynn wakes up sitting up from her bed she looks around in her room. Seeing it's half past three she groans as she got up "Please don't answer please" sitting on her computer seeing she is calling Danny. If Danny wakes up that mean she pulled him into her dream. But also what did Danny see? She covers her face "What did he see did he see my dreams of us? Will he stop being my best friend did I ruin everything. How can I tell Danny I'm falling for him" The monitor of the call turns on and Danny stares at her making her flinch.
Danny got up to check his computer getting a feeling of panic. Danny turns it on and soon sees Emberlynn who is covering her face. "What did he see did he see my dreams of us? Will he stop being my best friend did I ruin everything. How can I tell Danny I'm falling for him". Emberlynn stares at Danny staring at him seeing a smile on his face.
Everything that she was worried is gone feeling happy, thrilled but also a feeling she never felt before a feeling making her at peace. 'Do I feel Danny's emotions as well. Like he feels mine?' blink Emberlynn.
"I understand why you are scared of telling me. I can never hate you my feelings will always grow for you"smile Danny. Emberlynn gasp to hear Danny, he said those exact words in her dream. "Get some rest sleeping beauty we will talk tomorrow" smile Danny.
Emberlynn smiles and nods "Thanks Danny".
