When they got to the Wittebane House, which was more like a small mansion, Luz carried them inside and put them on the couch. The two girls looked around, amazed at all the things they didn't have in the ocean.

"What's that?" Boscha asked, pointing at the 80 inch wall mounted flat screen TV.

"That is a TV, it's how we watch shows and movies." Luz said.

The girls tilt their heads in confusion, unsure of what a show is.

"What are those?" Amity asked, pointing at the several game systems on the shelves under the TV.

"Those are my twin's game systems." Luz said, "It's a type of Human Entertainment."

"What's a human?" Boscha asked.

"A... human, is what I am, it's what you call Non-Scales." Luz said, "Enough questions for right now, the most important thing we need to focus on, is teaching you two how to walk."

Luz brought over a walker from when she was hit by a car and couldn't walk on her own... don't ask.

"Now, one of you hold onto this and I'll help you move." Luz said.

Boscha decided to go first, slightly hoping to impress Luz.

"I'll go first." Boscha said as she moved up to her feet, struggling to balance before taking her first step.

Her second step was less graceful as she almost slipped into the splits before Luz rushed to help her stand back up.

"One step at a time. And it's alright if you don't get it right away." Luz said, "You're still very injured, so that might hinder you a little."

"O-Okay." Boscha said as Luz moved to guide her to the walker. "Stay in a rhythm, left and right. Left and right."

Boscha grabbed the walker and used all her arm strength to hold herself up.

"Okay, I'm going to let you go." Luz said, "Just lean on the walker."

Luz let go and Boscha nearly fell down. She's gone twenty years without using these weird appendages where her tail was meant to be, she wasn't going to learn how to stand, let alone walk, in one day.

'This is so embarrassing!' Boscha thought as her legs were shaking while holding on to the walker.

If it wasn't for the walker, she would be on the ground.

'I want my tail back!' Boscha thought.

"Alright, Boscha. Just move when you're ready. I'll be here to help you when you need it." Luz said to her.

The mermaid let out a sigh and moved the walker a little bit forward, still not able to move her feet though.

"Hmm." Amity hummed, studying how Boscha was moving so she could improve upon her own turn.

"Okay, you need a little help." Luz said.

"No, no! I think I'm getting it." Boscha said as she moved forward, a bit slow but it was still progress.

"Good job, Boscha." Luz said.

Boscha smiled to Luz as she almost slipped but caught herself.

"Ehehehe." Boscha chuckled nervously.

"Ahahahaha." Luz giggled behind her hand.

"Alright, I think you've done enough for today." Luz said, "Amity, it's your turn."

Boscha was led back to the couch and Luz grabbed Amity's hands, making the mermaid blush. Luz's hands were so soft, it was like touching cotton. Amity didn't know why, but she felt safe with the human, so did Boscha, she felt... familiar. Elsewhere, in an underwater cave, a naked woman stood up and leaned against the cave wall. She began to put one foot in front of the other, trying to walk before falling down. She growled and stood back up.

"I don't care how long it takes, I'm going to find them, and I'm going to deal with anyone that gets in my way." She said, "Just like that woman from years ago."
