A team of Faunus training to become a hunter and huntresses have a series of adventures across Remnant, encountering characters from RWBY along the way.

Yang goes to Atlas with Weiss during the Winter holidays following their first term at Beacon and start bonding. In the meantime events in Mistral have a knock-on effect thoughout Remnant. Links into Jaune's Winter holiday and follows on from Learning to Lead, learning to follow. IMy aim is to ensure that is will not be necessary to have read those to understand what is happening.

Vastel was created by the Eight Guardian Spirits. But tragedy struck among them and one of their own had fallen, causing creatures named the Grimm to roam their land, killing all life that they see. With the help of hunters and huntresses, mankind may have a chance to take back the world; especially with the help of a special teenager, Jurabi Alisen.

Remnant has ever been full of unsolved mysteries, unknown creatures and powerful beings, artefacts and more. Humanity remains ignorant because of the work of the brave men and women of ARC Corp who hunt, contain and neutralise those anomalies. A paranormal investigator wasn't the kind of work Blake was thinking of when she left the White Fang, but beggars can't be choosers.
