Check me out at Royal Road or Wattpad for original work. My penname is MikaMathews.
Am I the only one that thought Bell kind of dumb for staying with Rumple when he was so abusive to her and everyone over and over again?
I also realized that a random approach is best...
If I fail here, I am done with OUAT stories for a while.
"The hell?" Daniel backed up, ignoring hunger and exhaustion as a wave of purple mist suddenly descended, going against the wind and filling the world. He closed his eyes and his breathe, in case it was poison. That didn't matter though as when the mist fell on him, it seemed to sink into his skin, like he was a frog breathing through his skin. He felt warm and cold all at once. Soon that feeling faded, only it didn't entirely fade, there was a dull hum in his bones that sort of lingered behind. Opening his eyes, he realized something strange had happened. He was no longer in the woods, but in a small town, surrounded by cars from the eighties and a host of hugging people.
Confused, he marched to the nearest group, a very attractive couple people were hugging and talking to. They were currently hugging a dumbfounded blonde.
A small man sneezed, one of many near the group. " And what was that smoke?" That caught Daniel's attention and made him pause. He too wanted to know what the smoke was.
"Who did this?" Asked another.
"And what was that smoke?"
"And why?"
"And what was that smoke?"
"Magic. " A woman said, a nun, looking stoic and amazed all at once. " It's here. I can feel it." She touched one of the attractive couple's hands and smiled.
A Small child moved forward. "Magic? In Storybrooke? But you're the Blue Fairy. Do something magical.:
The Nun shook her head. "It's not quite that simple, Henry. No wand. No Fairy Dust. Matters are complicated now."
" Let's go to the person responsible for bringing it, the Queen. " One of the small men said and his fellow small men agreed.
The blonde shook her head. " No. Wait. It wasn't Regina."
"Umm... Hello." they all turned to Daniel, and he waved. "Sorry to interrupt, but who the hell are you all and what was the Mist? I mean magic, I get, it did teleport me from the woods but like... um... really, can someone explain things to me?"
The Nun put her hands up. "He's from the outside world..."
The blonde stepped forward. "How did you get in here, I thought everyone had accidents on the town line?"
Daniel shrugged. "I walked through the forest and got hit by the mist. When it faded I was here... it was the strangest thing really... can I stay? I know you have issues going on but I haven't eaten in three days and I am pretty faint... and honestly, it can't be any worse than what I delt with before."
The Tall man, one of the handsome couple, sighed. "Yeah, can someone take him to Granny's for food?"
The Nun nodded. "I think it would be best if I did, I can explain magic the best to an outsider and honestly... without my magic I do not want to face Regina..." She looped her arm in his. "Come with me, I'll explain everything."
And off they went, with a very confused Daniel to Granny's dinner which happened to be right next door.
Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.
This was a lot of fun.
Love, your Ninja Overlord,
Mika.
