Like bruh in namikaze legend it was black light. But izz cool really i can understand if you had inspiration from that fix but tone it down a bit so it wont look so similar coz im getting the same vibes when i read the other fic especially the build up to war

madstack chapter 1. Jul 2: Just make him the next 'one above all' while you're at it...

Your starting point was great, in theory - an OC who is an older brother to a female Naruto sacrifices himself to save her life, hopefully tilting the scales of the war in their favour in the same move, reincarnates in the world of DxD. There was a world of interesting options from that point. How about making him the Slug Sage? Or maybe he signed Kakashi's contract and became a Dog Sage? Maybe his chakra coils made ninjutsu impossible for him, so he instead trained in the ways of a Samurai instead? Maybe he wasn't a fighter at all, but a fuinjutsu expert or a master craftsman? Et cetera.

Let's not even talk about how creepy Serafall molesting her pre-teen little brother is, or how what he did wasn't remotely special (I'm sure hundreds of random people participating in the Fourth Shinobi War would have gladly taken his place, if they had the means to).

SoP: Yeah… I hear ya, but everything is still flowing as I want it to go. Naruto will not being the next 'Once Above All'. Be too broken, but he already is strong, and his sage mode is something he has yet to tap into. Naruto can cast ninjutsu, it just a bit harder, requires a lot of focus, and isn't reliable in battle. I want Naruto to be a expert user of combining his demonic power, chakra/senjutsu abilities, and his boosted gear in tandem with one another. Yes, I know how creepy Serafall was being, but I wanted to take her sis-con and bro-con levels to new heights. I'm probably sure she is one some sort of child predator watch list! XD

Last Chapter

Rain chuckled as she watched Naruto stomp off as she grinned as she rubbed her chin, "Well he isn't half bad looking at least. He's rather childish at times, but it's cute…" Rain decided to join Naruto as she picked up the pace and up to his side.

Naruto saw she decided to join him, and she said, "Look what the red carpet rolled in." Naruto said with a sarcastic look on his face.

Rain had a tick mark appear on her forehead, "What was that you little squirt?!"

Naruto grew a tick mark too on his forehead, "Squirt?! We're practically the same height!"

Rain looked away as she continues walking while she crossed her arms over her chest, "Well to me you're a tad shorter than I am! So, you're a squirt!"

Naruto grit his teeth and then said, "Take that back torch head!"

Rain turned to glare back at Naruto, and she said, "How dare you! I thought you liked my hair color squirt!"

Naruto pointed at her and said, "Well I liked it until I found out how much of a hothead you are!"

Rain was going to say something, but she had a better idea. She extended her leg out and tripped Naruto to the ground. Naruto fell face-first into the ground. When he looked up to see where Rain was, she was running off sticking her tongue out at him, "Last there has to pay! See ya there squirt!"

Naruto shouted back, "Oi you cheater! That was dirty!" Naruto took off after her as she waved her fist at her.

This Chapter Flashback *Elemental Nations* Naruto's Age: 7 October 10th

Naruto looked down at his hands as he held a small bundle in his hand. Naruto gently glided his hand across his new baby sister's cheek. She had blonde hair and crystal blue eyes, similar to their late father. Naruto frowned, he knew what his father did, and what he had to do. Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki gave up their lives to protect Kasumi. It wasn't even an hour into Kasumi's birth she was almost killed by some madman. Naruto was sitting in the Hokage office with Hiruzen Sarutobi who was looking out at the village. He was currently smoking his pipe trying to think up what he should do. He had a meeting with the council in about half an hour. He was trying to think of what he needed to do to help Naruto and his little sister Kasumi.

Naruto looked up at the 'Professor of Shinobi' and asked, "Jiji… what are we going to do… Otou-san and Okaa-chan are gone…" Naruto felt his heart hurt, "Is this what it's like to get your heart stabbed?" Naruto, however, looked at his little sister who was none the wiser of the events that just happened.

Hiruzen took another drag of his pipe and said, "Naruto-kun… for the sake of yours and Kasumi-chan's safety. I want you to both take up your mother's surname. That way we can protect you and Kasumi until you're strong enough. I trust you can keep your heritage a secret, you kept to yourself a lot during the good academy." Hiruzen turned to face Naruto, Hiruzen's own heart began to hurt and break seeing the two. They were now a small family, but they were good, "I want you to keep your sister being a Jinchuriki quiet until she is ready to know. I'll let you be the one to tell her about it, along with your parents to her. For now, I'll tell the council that Minato-kun killed the Kyuubi. I won't allow anyone to figure out who Kasumi is. It's the least I can do, but I move you two into a new home. It'll be bad if people saw you leaving the Namikaze estate."

Naruto's eyes widen a bit, but he understood Hiruzen's reasoning, "I see… I know I'm not strong enough to protect both of us. Jiji, thanks for everything. I-I just wish Kazumi could have gotten to learn who our parents were." Naruto had a few tears run down his face, "Guess it's already time to grow up even quicker now."

Hiruzen nodded his head, he didn't know what more to say to Naruto. For now, he'll do his best to help Naruto and Kasumi out. Even if he had to show favoritism, he's the Hokage dammit, and he wasn't going to let anyone stop him. Hiruzen then said, "For tonight go home, rest, sleep, and have your things packed for tomorrow." Hiruzen signaled for an Anbu as Neko landed, "Go get baby formula and escort Naruto-kun and Kasumi-chan home." With that Neko walked over to Naruto and Kasumi and Shushined them home and she went to the store. Hiruzen walked toward the council with an intense glare on his face.

Council Meeting Room

The current heads of each clan were in the meeting room along with the Hokage's advisors Koharu, Homura, and Danzo, team members he had during back in the war under Tobirama. Everyone was talking until they felt a strong force that hasn't been felt in a long time. Everyone stopped talking as they looked towards the door where Hiruzen opened up. When Hiruzen made his way in he had a stern look on his face. The look on his face made it look like he had very little patience. He wasn't going to take any shit from anyone.

Hiruzen walked over and sat down and said, "Let's get this meeting started." Hiruzen began to flip through the reports as silence took over the room. The pressure Hiruzen was giving off meant business, "Now… for the first… casualties… upsetting but there isn't much we can do. I'll send flowers and letters for families that have lost loved ones." Hiruzen began to sign papers and placed them off to the side. Hiruzen then looked up and saw everyone's curious gaze towards him, "We're in the meeting are we not?! I want to know how our outside walls were penetrated. I want to know what happened!"

Inoichi, the shinobi who was head of the barrier protection squad in Konoha, "Hokage-sama, we never felt any disturbance of the barrier. We're unsure of what happened, no one was captured, we only know that the Kyuubi No Youko was the only thing to appear."

"Hokage-sama… if I may, Minato and Kushina… if I may ask?" Mikoto who was there with Fugaku looked at Hiruzen with worry.

Hiruzen shook his head, "I am afraid to say that Minato and Kushina both perished to save their daughter's life. Before the beast could stab her, Minato used the Reaper Death Seal to seal part of the Kyuubi into himself, the rest into his daughter Kasumi." Hiruzen knew that Mikoto and Tsume Inuzuka were close to Kushina.

Shikaku Nara asked, "Hokage-sama what are we to do with the children? We shouldn't let them live by themselves. Taking care of a baby requires a lot of attention and much more." Shikaku wondered what Hiruzen might suggest.

Hiruzen began to rub the sides of his head with one hand that was in front of his face. Hiruzen said, "I've been trying to think of something, but I'm unsure of what to do. I don't want to burden Naruto-kun with so much."

Mikoto then spoke up saying, "Hokage-sama can I."

Fugaku interjected, "No, we are not going to adopt and take them in." Fugaku looked at his wife sternly, and Mikoto looked at her husband angrily but relented.

"That won't stop me from checking up on them." Mikoto looked at her husband angrily.

Tsume agreed, "We can't leave the two pups alone, let alone Kasumi. Naruto-kun, I'm sure can take care of her, but he won't know every need a baby need. Babies are a lot of work."

"I agree with both of you Uchiha-san, and Inuzuka-san, I'll allow it. That way we aren't showing favoritism. We're helping fellow shinobi's children in a time of need." Hiruzen looked at Koharu and Homura daring them to say something, but they kept their mouth's shut.

However, one person did voice their opinion, "Hokage-sama… if I may, I can begin Naruto's shinobi training early if you want. I've heard he had wind and lighting nature affinities; I can also begin Kasumi's training as well once they're older."

Tsume and Mikoto glared at Danzo, who's known for turning his soldiers into drones in his root forces, "Hokage-sama I don't think that's a good idea. If Naruto wants training, why not have Kakashi go to him for it? Or even Jiraiya-sama, after all, Minato was his apprentice."

Danzo then spoke up and said, "I never once said I would do that to them. Sure Hokage-sama's and I's values and principles are different. I however would like to keep the last Namikaze and Uzumaki members loyal to the village." Danzo leaned forward placing his hands under his chin and elbows on the table, "I merely want to assure their safety, I may be cold Uchiha-san, Inuzuka-san, but I'm not heartless. I'm merely looking out for their well-being; Minato and I didn't always see eye to eye, but I respected him. I do not intend to make them into one of my roots. Hokage-sama some time ago forced me to give all details of my root members and readdressed their loyalties. However, I am in still command of them, I just report things to Hokage-sama directly."

Everyone, but Hiruzen was a little surprised by this, but accepted his response, "With that, I want to keep their lineage a secret. It would be bad if word got out, and Naruto-kun cannot protect Kasumi-chan on her own."

"Well, it seems this meeting is adjourned, I must say, that if anyone were to talk about Kasumi-chan's status as the Jinjuruki of the Kyuubi I am making it punishable by death." Hiruzen said sternly as everyone in the room looked at him with understanding.

Next-Day *Namikaze Estate*

Naruto was packing up everything that was of personal value. Naruto was looking over to his left with a shadow clone tending to Kasumi. Naruto looked at the fireplace that had his family photos, Naruto frowned as a tear ran down his cheek. Just then he was interrupted from his thoughts as there was a knock at the door. Naruto stood up and walked over and opened the door. Naruto's eyes widen a bit as a pair of arms reached out and wrapped around him. Naruto relaxed as he hugged the figure-hugging him, "Thanks Rain… thanks for coming."

Rain only said, "I knew to come here after hearing what happened… Naruto… will you and Kasumi be, okay?" Rain looked up with a worried look on her face.

Naruto smiled as he looked down at her, he nodded his head and said, "I still have Kasumi, Jiji, Jiraiya, and Tsunade when they're here, and well… you." Naruto gave her a small smile as Kasumi's cheeks turned red from Naruto bringing her up.

"W-What will you do now?" Rain slowly broke their hug as Naruto rubbed the back of his head.

"Jiji wants us to move out, so our heritage isn't found out. Not a lot of people know I am related to Minato." Naruto looked out the window towards the Hokage Tower, "Tou-san was so busy he rarely came home. So, no one knew he came here. My Tou-san also never really revealed it to anyone. My Kaa-san wanted to try to keep our heritage a secret, she was super paranoid about someone wanting to try to kill me as I am now. Even though she is an Anbu-level shinobi herself."

Rain smiled and saw the scrolls Naruto was putting in his bookbag. Naruto dispersed his clone as Rain saw Kasumi sleeping in a rocking chair Naruto placed her in. Rain walked over and knelt next to Kasumi, "Awww, she so cute, she's like a girl version of you." Rain gently rubbed Kasumi's soft cheek. She had blonde hair and blue eyes, along with whisker marks on her cheeks, "S-So I heard that the Yodaime killed the Kyuubi… is that true?" Naruto looked at Rain as he closed his eyes, Rain looked at him looking for an answer. Naruto shook his head not saying anything. Rain understood, "I see… did it have to be her?"

Naruto nodded his head, "My chakra coils are already well developed, but Kasumi's have just begun. So… it was the best choice… he couldn't ask another family to give up their child." Naruto put the rest of the scrolls in the bag and sealed bag away. Naruto walked over to Kasumi and picked her up, he sealed the chair into a scroll and sealed it away on his wrist, "Come one, we'll go to my new place."

Time Skip 6 Years Naruto's Age 13

For the next six years, Naruto did his best to provide for himself and Kasumi. Naruto trained hard every day, thankfully Rain did her best to help Naruto. Thankfully Tsume and Mikoto stopped by as often as they could. They would help Naruto take care of Kasumi when he left to go to the academy, but on days they couldn't. Naruto would either see if Hiruzen could or leave Kasumi with a shadow clone with almost 3/4th of his total chakra. Thankfully he inherited his mother's large chakra reserves. Though Rain stopped by almost every day to help Naruto to either hang out with him, help with Kasumi, or to train with Naruto.

If anything, Kushina has told Naruto about girls, if they give almost all their time to you. It means they like you and that they enjoy hanging out with you. She may like him. Naruto was never sure since Rain had never shown any real interest in him. That or he was too dense to notice anything.

Naruto graduated from the academy early, only a year after Itachi, he became a genin on separate teams from Itachi. Naruto and Itachi would train when they could together. On a few occasions, he hung out with Itachi and Izumi when he brought Rain too. The two girls got along well and Itachi and Naruto were the best of friends. Naruto even got along with Itachi when he introduced him to Shisui. Though, it shocked Naruto when he decided to join the Anbu Black Ops. Naruto at the time was only Johnin and decided not to go into the Anbu. He had to stay home to take care of Kasumi. As often as Itachi could, he would bring his sister Satsuki to hang out with Kasumi.

Luckily the two got along very well and even became close friends. Mikoto would drop by with Satsuki always wanting to know how Kasumi was doing. Naruto was glad, a lot of his mother's and father's teammates would drop by to see how he was doing. However, the tension in Konoha kept increasing.

Naruto began to notice that he hardly ever saw Itachi, Mikoto, and Satsuki. Kasumi would ask why Satsuki and Mikoto-Oba-san wouldn't visit as often. Naruto heard things that the Kyuubi attacking the village was done by an Uchiha. This was the first time Naruto had heard of this, but that was only the beginning.

Not only that Mikoto was forced to stop coming altogether, but thankfully Rain was always able to stop by. Her being a half Uchiha allowed her to come by as much as she want. Though when Rain came to visit she came to his house to find him in horrible condition. She would ask continuously what happened and how he was in such horrible condition.

Rain would often bring and buy medical supplies to help Naruto. She has been finding puncture wounds, slashing wounds, burns, cuts, bruises, and many more. They weren't just only done with Kunais, knives from a kitchen, bruises from fists, and even rake marks on Naruto's back. Naruto would tell her what happens when he goes into town to get food. Naruto was always forced to buy overly priced food, and Naruto was only allowed to use the money he earns and what the Hokage gives him.

Not only that, but Naruto was also dropping in weight and was malnourished, yet he kept pushing himself on missions. Kasumi was none the wise on what was going on with Naruto, nor did she ever go a day where she didn't have three meals a day. That was enough for Naruto to keep going every day, to keep withstanding the abuse he received from the villagers. Rain hated it, she hated everything that the villagers did to him. She demanded he go report this to the Hokage, but Naruto said he couldn't. He said, "If I were to tell Jiji who did this to me, not only would they begin to target Kasumi. But they would make my life even harder than it was already, and Tsume was busy with clan affairs. Mikoto from what he learned from Itachi was banned from leaving the clan compounds now. Kakashi was always out on missions and wasn't given a lot of chances to come to visit.

No matter how much Naruto suffered, no matter how many attacks, burns, scratches, and more he took. He never retaliated, he never did anything to make them angrier at him and Kasumi. It was all for Kasumi, they never even talked about placing a hand on her head. Not once did they mention it, so Naruto took it. If it meant protecting his little sister, then it was worth, every last near-death experience he had.

Was worth it.

Though there was one particular time when Naruto was hurt badly. Not only did he suffer from wounds from a mission.

Flashback About 2 Months and 21 Days *October 10th* Naruto's Age: 12 Years

It was October 10th, the day Kasumi was born, a day where a lot of people celebrated what the Yodaime Hokage did to the Kyuubi. Naruto just finished at the Hokage Tower from a mission. Naruto told Hiruzen he was going to get some medical help after the mission.

Though that wasn't his intention, to begin with. Naruto was making his way home from the roofs, he wanted to check to make sure Kasumi was alright. That was his top priority, plus today was her 6th birthday. He had a gift for her, he always thankfully saved up enough money every year for a present for her. This year he bought an orange nine-tailed fox plushie, he bought it at a village on the way home from his village. Naruto had it sealed away thankfully.

Naruto landed by his house as he came across a mob that was in front of the apartment. They weren't by the door, thankfully they lived on the fourth floor. The apartment only had four floors. When Naruto landed, they all looked at him, civilians and shinobi glaring daggers at him. Naruto saw they haven't even stepped foot on the apartment's stairs. Naruto said, "I'll be back… let me wish my Imouto a happy birthday, give her, her present. Then have cake…" Naruto unsealed a cake that was about twenty-four inches in diameter. Though Naruto had to lace it with some sleeping medicine, he didn't want Kasumi to wake up to see him in the middle of the night.

The mob parted allowing him to go up, but not before a bottle was thrown at his head. A bottle of liquor to be precise. Naruto quickly used a wind jutsu to dry himself and made his way up to the room. Naruto opened the door and smirked as he called out, "I'm home Kasumi-chan! As promised! I told you the mission wouldn't take all day!"

Naruto heard the pattering of feet as Kasumi came running up to the front door, "Onii-chan! You're finally home!" Kasumi jumped into Naruto's arms.

Naruto twirled her in the air, "How is my birthday girl doing?! Huh? Come on! Let's get some cake in our bellies! I hope you liked the lunch and dinner I had my clone bring you!" Naruto smiled as Kasumi hugged him wrapping her arms around his neck.

"It was the best day!" Kasumi cheered out as she gave him a big old wet kiss on his cheek, "I got to have Ichiraku Ramen for lunch AND DINNER! FOUR BOWLS EACH MEAL!" Kasumi cheered out as she fist-pumped her fist in the air.

Naruto chuckled as he set her down, "Come on! Let's eat some cake and then present time!" Naruto walked over to the table as he unsealed a cake for Kasumi.

Her eyes widen and shine like stars, "WOW! SO BIG! I CAN'T WAIT!"

Naruto placed some candles on, six to be exact, and performed a small Katon jutsu to light the candles up. Naruto then gestured to her, "Come on, make a wish."

Kasumi smiled as she thought about her wish by placing a finger on her lip. She then smiled and said, "I got it!" Kasumi looked at the candles and said, "I wish that one day we can see our godparents! Then you and Rain will get married one day! That I also will get to hang out with Satsuki again soon!" Kasumi then blew the candles out.

Naruto smiled happily, she was so selfless, Naruto took the candles off and said, "Alright Kasumi. Before you dig in, I got you a present." Naruto took out the 5-foot-tall Kitsune plushie.

Kasumi squealed in delight, "YEAH! IT'S SO CUTE!" She picked the plushie up and shook it in the air, "SO FLUFFY!" She said with an almost masculine voice.

Naruto chuckled and said, "Alright, go wash up before we eat cake." Naruto gestured to the bathroom as she nodded her head. She jumped off and ran over to the bathroom. Naruto created a shadow clone that took about 1/4th of his chakra, but he was already on half, to begin with. Naruto quietly walked out the door. Naruto made his way towards the streets, he looked at the mob and said, "At least take this to the alley? I'd rather she not hear anything… if possible nothing at all." Naruto began to walk towards the alley with the mob following.

Naruto made his way towards the alley and turned around to the mob. Naruto threw his kunai pouch and other holsters to the side. Naruto saw the mob walk up to them and even drew some weapons. Naruto closed his eyes and let a small sigh out as he extended both arms out to his side. Naruto thought to himself, "Kami-sama… like I've asked before… just one more… I ask of you just one more day. Let me be by Kasumi's side again… just one more… Kami-sama just give me one more." That's what Naruto thought to himself as the mob began to unleash their pent-up anger upon him.

Naruto watched as the weapons they flung at him fly at him in slow motion. Eventually, the kunai met flesh, along with Shuriken and kitchen knives. Naruto looked at the wound, he felt the sting in his arm, but not burn. Naruto's senses were beginning to dull already, "Huh… the pain… I feel something… but not all of it." Naruto stood up straight as weapons lodged into his body. Naruto looked up at the sky and also thought to himself, "Just one more… let me see Kasumi one more time… let me see Rain one more time… just one more… just one more." Naruto fell onto his knees as his limbs were beginning to give out. Naruto looked up as a katana lodged itself into his shoulder as blood gushed out.

The mob grew closer as he saw broken beer bottles raised in the air, a sharp-pointed rake, kunais, knives, bats, wooden planks, and brass knuckles as well. Naruto watched them; he didn't have an ounce of horror on his face. He did not scream, he did not scowl, flinch, moan out, or even mutter a single grunt. The mob had their way with him, they did what they want. By the end of the ordeal, Naruto laid on his back in a pool of blood. His eyes barely holding onto his life, he heard everything they called him. "The demon's brother" "The demon's retainer" "Monster" "Demon" "Looser" "Murderer" "Slaughterer" and so many more names. Even though he didn't kill anyone they knew, the Kyuubi, that was inside of his sister did. So, indirectly he caused it. The words didn't even bother Naruto, they didn't sting, and they didn't make him think differently.

Naruto with his vision blurring and his body simply aching. He stared at the night sky as the people grew tired of the beating. Soon, they all dispersed, Naruto also found himself naked, but they let him keep his underwear on. Though, they did take the money he earned during the mission. Though they did leave him one Ryo for his troubles. Naruto's eyes began to grow heavy, but he saw four men walk up to him. People that were from the same group smirked at him. The group dropped some cold liquid on him. Naruto felt all his cuts and wounds begin burning. Naruto realized it was sake. Naruto saw one lit a match, and Naruto simply closed his eyes as his world went up in flames. The men soon dispersed as the smell of burning flesh and hair began to fill the air. Naruto didn't know what it was, but he opened an eye. Naruto's vision being blocked by the flames focused on something in the background. Naruto saw something... no he saw someone come walking up to him.

The man smirked as he saw Naruto laying there burning alive. He moved his hand and put the fire out on Naruto. Naruto looked up as the man held up a flame in his hand. He smirked and said, "Hello there child, my name is Rizevim Lucifer." His grin turned into a evil smile that appeared on his face, "I can help you child... I can help you get the people back at what they did to you. I can help you take revenge upon them! Join me and I can!" Rizevim turned his head and sensed a large number of Shinobi on the way. He frowned and said, "I don't have time... but I hope you come to me." The man seemed to be in his early 20s, he had long white hair and a beard.

Naruto closed his eye for a moment and the man was gone, "Who was that... was I hallucinating?" Naruto closed his eye and then found Rain kneeling next to him.

Thankfully Rain, who came back from a C-Rank mission. Rain came onto the scene to find a naked, burned Naruto laying on the ground with almost two feet in the grave. Rain had tears run down her cheeks as she began to scream for help, she even flared her chakra to signal someone to come help her.

Days Later

Naruto slowly opened his eyes, he looked left and right with his eyes. He then moved his neck, he simply hissed in pain. It seems the adrenaline wore off hours ago, the fact that he slept was nothing short of a miracle, but Naruto found himself not outside in the alley. He was in the hospital, "Someone must have found me." Naruto looked to his left and found Rain sitting next to him asleep with her head on the bed. Naruto could see how red her cheeks were, the way the corner of her eyes looked too. She's been crying a lot. Naruto looked to his right to find Kasumi who has also been crying out holding onto his right hand also asleep. Naruto closed his eyes and rested his head back on the pillow, "Thank you Kami-sama… thank you… thank you for just one more day. Now… just one more… just one more." Naruto opened his eyes to find Hiruzen standing in front of him.

Hiruzen had a look of pure sadness and anguish on his face. Hiruzen was heartbroken, Hiruzen has also been crying with his cheeks puffy and his eyes red. Hiruzen walked into the room and asked, "Naruto-kun… how are you."

Naruto cracked a small smile and said, "Better… now that I got one more… one more day." Naruto however saw the scowling look on Hiruzen's face as he knew he was going to get chewed out again.

Hiruzen gripped his fist as he closed his eyes as tears ran down them, "Dammit Naruto! We can't keep doing this! You were even closer to dying than the last few times! How long will you keep doing this?! How much longer?! Please just tell me who's doing this to you! We can stop it! We can help you! We can help Kasumi as well! Don't you see how worried she is?! Can't you see how much you've scared her?! You're breaking her heart! Rain's heart! Mine! Hell! Even your parent's hearts are breaking right now!"

Naruto's gaze looked away as he shook his head and he said, "They'll target Kasumi… I won't let it happen. As Hokage, you can't show favoritism… you know that better than anyone else, Jiji. Besides… they haven't laid a single hair on her head. Even if you were to take her in with you… I'd still keep doing this. People will always find a way to exact their hatred onto others… that being me. They'll try to hurt Kasumi… you know I and your forces won't always be there to protect her. I don't even want to imagine what they would do if they were to get their hands on her. I wouldn't be able to live with myself… forgive myself… I would have failed as a brother."

Hiruzen shook his head and walked up to the foot of Naruto's bed, "Naruto-kun… this is enough, no more will I allow you to keep doing this to yourself. I've already taken into liberty to remove those who have hurt you. They're currently seeing Ibiki and Anko rightnow." Hiruzen smiled as he turned to Kasumi who slowly was waking up, "Maybe you'll listen to them… take care Naruto." Hiruzen turned and began to walk out as Kasumi also lifted her head from her slumber.

Naruto looked at the two as they raised their heads, suddenly the two looked at him with shock. Then anger, and then sadness as tears ran down both of their faces. Together they shouted, "YOU IDIOT!" The two leaned on the bed looking at him with tears running down their faces. Kasumi cried, "W-What were you thinking?! A-Again?! C-Can't I just have one birthday! With you with me! Where you are not somewhere else dying?!"

Naruto could only hang his head in shame as the two berated him, "You fool! What were you thinking?! Again, with this?! W-Why?! Why?!" Rain cried out as she rested her head on his lap, "D-Don't you care at all!? At all on how we feel?! Every time we see you like this?!"

Naruto went to rebuttal, "Rain… with the villagers and Kasumi, they'll."

Kasumi shouted back and said, "THEN TRAIN ME! PLEASE! Give me something!" Naruto looked up at Kasumi as she looked into his eyes pleading, "Help me get stronger! So, you never have to go through something like this again! Please!" Kasumi crawled onto the bed as she moved a hand onto his cheek. She gently caressed it, "W-What did they do to you… my Onii-chan… they keep hurting you… all for my sake." Kasumi just shook her head confused, why did the villagers hate her so much. Why did they hate Naruto so much, the two never did anything to them? The names they call her and him, but they never called her anything when he was around. It was always Naruto who was called something demoralizing, "Onii-chan? Don't you get it? I love you… you're the only family I have left! WHO I'LL HAVE IF YOU DIE!" Kasumi screamed out as tears continued to run down her cheeks, "I-I'll be all alone! I'll have no one! NO ONE! PLEASE DON'T DIE!" Kasumi cried out as she lost her composure and fell into his lap crying her heart out.

Naruto's eyes widen at that as he looked down at the back of her head. Naruto has never heard such words before hit home. Naruto gently moved one of his hands and rubbed the back of Kasumi's head, "I-I'm so… sorry Kasumi… I thought this was the only way… to protect you… but how can I? If I died… I am an idiot."

Naruto looked up to his left to see Rain staring at him angrily with her tears, "WHAT ABOUT YOU ME YOU IDIOT!" Rain held her hands close to her heart, she thought of losing Naruto… forever, "I-I don't know… what I'd do if I lost you," Rain crawled forward as she rested her face on his chest. Thankfully it didn't hurt too much thanks to the painkillers he was being given. Also, the medic staff was giving him top priority treatment which was a demand by the Hokage. Which was punishable by death, and Naruto had no idea why he said, "Don't you get it? I-I can't lose you. Like I lost my Tou-chan… he was killed too… just by a Shinobi when he had to travel." Kasumi's hand shook as she held tightly onto his shirt. Kasumi looked up with her dark blue eyes. Her hair framed her face beautifully, not only that, but it seems it has been days since she showered too. She's been so focused, on him surviving that she couldn't leave his side.

Naruto couldn't believe it, for however long he knew Rain, for what? Almost six years of his life now? He met her when they were about 7 years old. She always visited and visited even more after his parents passed. She was close to him, and he always made sure he protected her or helped her when she needed it. Though Naruto realized something, Rain has never asked him for anything in return. He would bring him and Kasumi fresh fruits and veggies, meats, or even bring overcooked dinners. She would come over to have picnics and spend time with the two. Naruto even remembers Kasumi always looking up to Rain as a big sister. Rain was the big sister that Rain never had, she was someone who Kasumi would console with. As well as someone to talk about just simple girl things. He never did anything to repay the kindness that Rain showed him all these years. Naruto looked to Kasumi who seemed to have cried herself to sleep.

Naruto found his eyes meeting the sheets of the bed. He closed his eyes and said, "Rain…" Rain looked up at Naruto as she looked at him with her cheeks red and her eyes all puffy, "I-I'm so sorry… for never thinking about your feelings. For never doing anything in return for me. I-I just realized how much you've done for me. Spot us when we needed money for food, cooked for us, and taught me to cook. Helped raise Kasumi who isn't even your blood related sister. Brought Satsuki over to play with her when her mother couldn't, trained with me, studied with me, and helped me with everyday house chores. You did everything… you gave up all of your time just for me… why?" Naruto looked up and leaned in curiously as Rain grew quiet as a blush appeared on her cheeks.

Rain looked down nervously as she began to fidget with her hands, "W-Well… ever since we hung out that day. I-I enjoyed being around you… you were always so nice and caring. A great listener too, I thought you were a good person. I was wrong, you're an amazing person, but you could be a real idiot at times. I knew when your parents passed it hit you very hard. You seemed to take all the weight and burden on your shoulders. I hated seeing you like that… so I figured I'd do my best to help you and your sister out. It's what friends are for right?" Rain shook her head thinking about the time she always spent with Naruto, "No…I-I did it… because well I… oh kami, I can't believe I'm saying this…"

Naruto placed a hand under her chin and said, "You love me." Naruto looked at her rather shocked as Rain's cheeks turned an even darker shade of red. That would put his own mother's hair to shame, due to the color of the red on her cheeks. Naruto's heart began to quicken as well as Rain's increased as well. Naruto closed his eyes, something in him was changing, he didn't know what it was. He remembers his mother's words to him, 'Naruto… always remember if the path ahead seems dark and gloomy. There will always be light at the end of the tunnel. You'll find the people who you hold precious to you. Right there with you, you wouldn't have realized it, but they were with you the entire time. The tunnel was so dark, that you couldn't see they were with you the entire time. Until you've opened your eyes and got to the end of the tunnel, is only when things will get better. Remember, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel'.

Naruto found himself leaning in towards Rain and Rain was doing so too on instinct. Naruto didn't know what it was, but some magnetic attraction was pulling him closer to her. Before Naruto knew it, he had placed a hand on her left cheek. The two drew in close until their lips met one another. Naruto's eyes stayed open as he watched Rain's eyes close when their lips met. Naruto subconsciously did the same. Naruto and Rain felt sparks of electricity run through their bodies. It was as if a new light was lit in both of their lives. Rain simply moved her head a bit and opened an eye and smiled at the two. "About time my baka Onii-san realized it."

Before they knew it, they had to separate for air. Naruto opened his eyes as did Rain, and he said, "W-Wow… I-I guess I am an idiot. For waiting so long… and not realizing how really beautiful you are… Rain." Naruto closed his eyes and opened them again as he said, "I-I promise… I promise you that I'll stop what I was doing before. I'll get Kasumi stronger, so we can stick up for each other. We'll have hers and your back. So, you can have mine… Rain… I care about you… I can't even say how much I'm thankful for you. Thank you, I-I guess it only took a cute girl to help me see the light… as well as my little sister. T-Thanks Rain… I-I love you too."

Rain smiled as she rested her head on his chest and she said, "Damn right it did… you idiot." Rain placed a hand on his chest, "You're no longer allowed to let yourself get hurt… no more. No one is allowed to hurt you. That privilege only belongs to me and your sister, that's because you'll do something stupid one day. I know you will, so someone has to keep you in check."

Naruto smiled down at her and only grinned, "Thanks Rain… I love you."

Time Skip Year Later Naruto's Age: 13

Naruto was on his way home from a recent mission he was on. It was late at night, and it was a long mission that lasted almost a week. Thankfully Rain was already back in the village the day he left; he achieved the rank of Johnin not too long ago. Thanks to the help of training provided to him by, Inu, Itachi, and Shisui who are some dear friends of Naruto's in recent years. Also, let's not forget the tribute Naruto has to give to Rain. She pushed him the hardest, that was only because she was his girlfriend.

Today was an average night as Naruto looked up at the sky. Naruto found it to be peaceful, Naruto entered the front of the gate with Izumo and Kotetsu seemingly guarding the gate. Which meant the two took turns sleeping. Naruto shook his head and exchanged information about his mission and his return. Izumo allowing him to continue gestured for him to report to the Hokage Office in the morning.

Naruto began to make his way towards the Uchiha district, though not entirely going in. Rain's house was on the outskirts and Kasumi stayed at her place when Naruto went on missions. Naruto decided to take it easy and slow, but Naruto noticed a figure off in the distance. Naruto focused on it as he felt the familiar chakra, "Oh! Itachi how's it been! You going on… a…Itachi." Naruto took a sniff in the air and smelled iron coming off of Itachi.

Itachi came walking into the moonlight from the shadows as he saw Itachi's Mangekyou Sharingan spinning. Itachi was holding a blade in his hand covered in blood, blood over his face, blood over his vest, and in his hair. Naruto walked forward, "Itachi… tell me that isn't your blood? Are you okay? Did you have to kill an intruder?" Naruto didn't think twice that Itachi probably had to kill a bunch of possible intruders.

Itachi with a cold look in his eyes looked at Naruto and said, "Naruto… I wouldn't worry about myself so much. Though… Shisui… my Okaa-san… Otou-san… and Satsuki aren't doing so well. Oh… neither is Rain…" Itachi swung his blade as the blood flew off it and onto the ground.

Naruto's eyes widen in shock as he looked at Itachi, "W-What?! A-Are they are alive?! Who did this?! Who could have snuck in and."

Itachi interrupted and said, "Silly Naruto… I wanted to see how strong this clan truly was. Like I said… I said you should worry about Rain and the others." Itachi walked up to Naruto and passed him as Naruto continued to stare at the spot he just standing. Once Itachi passed Naruto he said, "I wanted to see if Satsuki could be strong… this is goodbye Naruto." Like that Itachi disappeared in a shushin.

Naruto felt his throat clog up as if he couldn't get anything out. Naruto began to slowly run and before he knew it, he took off like a speeding bullet. Naruto continued to run as if he was already using the Hiraishin without even knowing it. Naruto ran across the building leaving a trail of nothing but a yellow flash. Naruto found Rain's house and crashed through the door and ran towards the rooms. Naruto found Rain's mother laying in a pool of blood in the kitchen. Naruto quickly knelt and checked her pulse.

Nothing.

Naruto looking frantically called out, "RAIN! KASUMI! WHERE ARE YOU!" Naruto turned and ran upstairs and ran to the rooms. Naruto stopped at Rain's bedroom, what he found made his heart shatter. Naruto found Kasumi laying on the bed out cold, he quickly ran over to her, and he found a pulse. She seemed to be asleep, but Naruto turned to Rain and knelt by her. Naruto's lips began to quiver as he looked at Rain. Her hair was disheveled and sprawled out across the ground, there was a stab wound in her chest. Naruto saw the wound go right through her chest, "R-Rain! Rain! Please answer me!" Naruto placed his hand on her neck and felt a pulse, Naruto pulled her close crying as a tear ran down his cheeks, "S-Stay with me Rain! I-I'll get you help!"

Naruto created a shadow clone that grabbed Kasumi and he quickly smashed the window open. Naruto took off into the night with Rain in his arms as he ran toward the hospital. Naruto quickly made it in record time in under a minute. Naruto quickly made it through the doors and said, "I NEED HELP! PLEASE! SHE'S DYING!" Naruto felt the blood from Rain's wound covering his shirt.

The nurses and doctors knew who Naruto was but reluctantly pointed Naruto to take her to the room. Naruto quickly ran over and placed her on the table. The doctors and nurses there quickly ushered Naruto out and Naruto found himself outside with his shadow clone. His shadow clone was tending to Kasumi as she slept peacefully. She had no wounds or anything, it seemed she was put to sleep via genjutsu.

Naruto looked towards the door, only after five minutes, did the doctors open the door. Naruto looked at them for a plead of good news, "Tell me she's okay! Please! She's my girlfriend she!"

The doctor shook his head, "I-I'm sorry son… she doesn't have long." One doctor stayed inside along with a nurse. The others left while Naruto quickly made his way inside.

Naruto ran to her side and knelt on the side of her bed, "R-Rain! C-Can you hear me! Y-You're gonna be okay! Please! Stay with me!" Naruto did his best from memory and performed the mystic palm jutsu. Naruto didn't have any experience using it, so he tested his luck by trying to use it. It was an impulse and he didn't care, "Rain! Stay with me! Please! I need you! Hold on! Please!"

Rain who was weak slowly opened her eyes and looked at Naruto. She smiled and slowly moved a hand over hers. She smiled and said, "N-N-a-r-u-to… I-I… lo-v-ve you… s-so… m-much… t-t-t-h-an-k y-y-ou f-or ma-a-king m-me t-the hap-pi-est girl… e-ev-er." Like that Rain's arm went limp on Naruto's hands as Naruto's eyes widen further.

Naruto shook his head left to right furiously as he shouted, "NO! NO! RAIN! DON'T LEAVE ME! PLEASE! RAIN! I-I CAN'T DO THIS WITHOUT YOU! RAIN!" Naruto pulled her head in close and continued to let out a painful scream that echoed throughout the halls of the hospital and out into the village and the night.

The doctor said, "Rain Uchiha… time of death… 10:07 pm, January 1st."

Itachi was at the front gates of the village on the top. With his leaf village headband with a cross on it. Itachi turned to the left to face the village once again as tears streamed from his face. Itachi closed his eyes and said quietly, "S-Satuski… Shisui… Naruto… forgive me… forgive me." Itachi knew that Rain and Naruto began dating a little over a year ago. He knew how much of a rock Rain was for Naruto as she helped him. With that Itachi jumped forward leaving the village and into the forest to escape.

End of Flashback *Time Skip 6 Months* Naruto's Age: 14

Naruto's new master was a relatively interesting person. Azazel, the Governor of the Fallen Angels, somehow that's who Sirzech was able to get to be his teacher. Azazel was obsessed with Naruto and why he had sacred gear. After talking to Naruto about it since Azazel wanted to learn how Naruto's body functioned with the gear. That was sacred gears could only join their hosts if their hosts were human. However, for some reason, a full-blooded devil was able to activate one and use it.

Azazel was quite the eccentric man, mainly for sacred gears. Azazel is a tall man appearing to be in his twenties with an average build, black hair, golden bangs, and a black goatee. He also possesses twelve jet-black feathered wings that grow out from his back. However, Naruto had to admit he was a slave driver when it comes to training. Azazel took Naruto to brand new heights with his sacred gear.

Though Azazel was not able to solve the problems Naruto had he had with his sacred gear. However, Azazel was doing his best to strengthen Naruto as much as possible for the mission that was coming up. The beginning of Naruto's training consisted of Naruto trying to land even a single hit on Azazel. Azazel forced him to only use his sacred gear, so Naruto had to quickly learn to use attacks using magic and sacred gear. However, even then Naruto struggled to cast a simple ball of magic using his sacred gear. Azazel even told Naruto that his sacred gear should be working with his demonic power in tandem.

However, Naruto's longest-standing problem for almost a month. That was until Naruto figured one thing out. Naruto sat down with Azazel and told him that he has quite a few things he has been working on. He's been working on his physical body training, demonic power, and his Senjutsu chakra. Azazel was even surprised that Naruto couldn't even speak to the host of the gauntlet which is not right. That was until Azazel's idea helped Naruto figure out the problem.

Azazel for the next month after their first forced Naruto to begin learning to mix his senjutsu with his demonic power. Meaning he wanted Naruto to constantly try to force his senjutsu to mix with demonic power. This was a brand-new steppingstone for Naruto as he struggled to do it. With enough training and practice Naruto figured it out, Naruto cast a jutsu using both senjutsu chakra, or well chakra to what Naruto calls it, and his demonic power.

Again, this world pictures senjutsu for both charka within the body and casting, which almost no one ever does. While Naruto knows it as chakra from the elemental nation and Senjutsu when you mix your chakra with the nature chakra in the air.

With that Naruto was finally able to meet Ddraig for the first time and have a serious talk with the dragon of the boosted gear. It was indeed true that Naruto could not contact him because of all the different energies within Naruto. The different energies interfered with the energy wave-length within Naruto and made it almost impossible for Naruto to meet him. Until he mixed his powers all into one pool and channel it that way. Is when he could make contact with Ddraig, but even doing that was taxing on his body since Naruto cannot regulate his power like that. Though, once Naruto made that link with Ddraig, right now Naruto has been learning to control his energies when mixed since his reserves were already relatively large. Ddraig was already truly impressed by Naruto's power and strength, but it was mainly control Naruto had to learn.

Azazel chuckled as a spear of light dissipated from his hands and he placed them on his hips, "Not bad Naruto, your control is improving, and your powers have skyrocketed since the beginning."

Naruto was in a crater and slowly sat up as he rubbed the back of his head, "Itai… that hurt… stupid Ero-Tenshi." (A/N: Tenshi means Angel). Naruto had bruises and cuts on his face; he had a river of blood flowing from his forehead. Naruto slowly stood up as he pumped chakra throughout his body. Like that Naruto's wounds healed as if nothing happened, it was thanks to the healing factor Naruto was given by Kurama.

Azazel smirked and pointed to the nearby mountain and he said, "Alright kid, I want you to freeze that mountain over there."

Naruto sighed, Azazel was one of the stranger teachers he has had, even more so than his old sensei Jiraiya. Naruto placed a hand on the ground, and he said Absolute Zero! Dark black ice shot from Naruto's hands as it rushed off towards the distance at the mountain. Trees and other rocks in its path froze over with a thin and strong layer of black ice. After about a minute the mountain was covered head to toe with black ice. Azazel let out a whistle staring at Naruto's work, "Impressive kid, you did that in under a minute and ten seconds. That was a new record, but I want it done in at least a minute."

Naruto sighed as he stood up as took a breather, "You're a real slave driver Ero-Tenshi, but you're a damn good teacher."

Azazel slowly landed on the ground and shrugged his shoulders, "Remember your sacred gear is merely a tool to enhance your abilities. You shouldn't become reliant on it, otherwise, you'll fail a lot more." Azazel smirked and smiled proudly at his pupil, "For someone who's only been under my tutelage for only six months, you've jumped leaps and bounds. You're strong kid, I'd say you're at least as strong as King Tepes by now."

Naruto smiled, as perverted as Azazel was, he was a good person… er well Fallen Angel. Naruto held a flame up in his hand that was blue, that was thanks to Matatabi, "Well I think this works quite well though, so thanks."

Azazel chuckled as he leaned in ruffling Naruto's hair, "What can I say kid? You're one of the best I've ever trained! You don't understand how much of a treasure trove of knowledge and potential you have laying within you!" Azazel looked at Naruto with a serious look and asked, "What do you think… think you can bring peace to our three factions?"

Naruto smiled as he nodded his head and said, "Things need to change not only with the devils but with everyone else too. It takes one to change." Naruto turned to the side and extended his hand out creating the Sitri territory out of black ice. Everything was copied perfectly, each building, window, and the population walking within the territory, "The devils have an unfair system, but I hope to change that. I think Sona's dream even has more merit in what I want to change with the devils. Especially if the reincarnated devils will and are going to be the future of the survival of our race. The nobles need to learn that too, we aren't always to be top dogs."

Azazel nodded his head and said, "I understand it, but with that said! Come one let's go relax and get a drink! I think you've earned it." Azazel began to walk away as he teleported back to their temporary home, they're staying in.

Naruto shook his head and said, "Geez he'll never change… but I hope he stays that way. He's not a bad guy." Naruto turned and went to teleport away in a magic circle.

However, Naruto heard something… no someone he hasn't heard in a long, long time, "Naruto." Naruto turned his head to see someone standing by the tree. She had red hair and was wearing a black shinobi outfit. Naruto's eyes widen as he quickly rubbed his eyes, once his vision cleared up he saw nothing. Naruto sighed and said, "Mind must be playing tricks on me, we haven't slept in two days." Naruto shook his head as he teleported away.

Azazel's and Naruto's House

Naruto teleported back into their house as he let a low sigh out. Naruto called out, "Ero-Tenshi? Where are ya?" Naruto walked over to the dining area and found no one and heard no response, "Azazel? Where are you ya pervert?" Naruto continued to walk around until he made his way into the family room.

However, before he knew it a wall of blackness appeared in front of him. Naruto looked confused, but then he realized they were wings, "Sup kid!" Naruto turned around to find Azazel standing in front of him with his wings around him.

Naruto facepalmed, "What are you doing? Why didn't you."

"Shut it, kid." Azazel flicked him in the forehead as Naruto nursed his forehead, "Turn around." Azazel used his arms and turned Naruto around. Naruto went to protest but Azazel said, "You know, I didn't forget."

Azazel remove his wings from Naruto's view as people jumped from their hiding spots, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY NARUTO!" Everyone cheered out as confetti flew across the air courtesy of Grayfia and Tsubaki.

Naruto looked at everyone with a rather shocked look on his face, "W-Wait… today is."

Sona came walking up as she hugged her twin and said, "Happy Birthday Onii-san."

Naruto gently pulled her into the hug and chuckled, he simply shook his head, "Stilly… it's your birthday too. Did you get my present?"

Sona and Naruto slowly released the hug, and she nodded her head, she held up the bracelet that Naruto bought her a while back. That was when he first met Kuroka and Shirone, "I did… I love it… thank you." Sona placed a kiss on his cheek of affection for her brother.

"Anything for my twin." Naruto turned to Rias, Tsubaki, Shirone, Kuroka, Akeno, Inner, and Outer Moka. Naruto smiled as he said, "Thank you all for this… I am so very much surprised, I didn't expect this."

Grayfia smiled and gestured to Azazel, "It was Azazel-sama's idea since you haven't seen us in over six months. We figured it would be nice to do it."

Naruto looked at Azazel as he was off at the bar drinking. Naruto shook his head chuckling as he placed his hands on his hips, "Thanks Azazel-sensei… you aren't half bad. You know that?"

Azazel raised an eyebrow and had a big smirk appear across his face, "You can thank me when you've grown yourself a massive harem… minus the twin sister here. You don't strike me as a guy who likes incest." This caused everyone's faces to turn red with embarrassment, though Grayfia and Inner Moka did a good job hiding it.

Naruto deadpanned and he sighed out, "Well there goes the good moment… baka Ero-Tenshi."

7/11/2022(8:35 pm): Okay I am putting this in here because of what happens with Naruto and the mob. Let me say it, and I quote! There is a reason why naruto went through all that crap! I'm not leaving that hole empty. There is a reason why that happened, and why the villagers treated Naruto like complete and utter crap. As for the reason, it has yet to be told and explained. So I went back and edited that part back in, many might ask how Rizevim is there, well I cannot say. Though I can leave this with all of you, the Elemental Nations and High School DxD worlds are not that far apart in dimension-wise.

A/N: Alrighty! I hoped everyone liked that! Before I continued, you might notice my page has a few fewer stories. That is to make some room for others, and re-write will eventually come. I promise, but for now, I am focusing on a few stories at a time. My next update will be Ninja's Hero Academia and A New Trial. For now, I hoped you all like it! I won't give away all of Naruto's strengths and abilities right now, but for now. Naruto could take on King Tepes one on one and hold him to a standstill. With that said, yes Naruto's backstory is quite cruel, dumb, and probably a stupid thing for Naruto to think at the time. However, Naruto didn't allow that to happen in the beginning, but there was a reason why Naruto began to let the villagers treat him the way they did. That was because numerous times they targeted Kasumi, but Naruto begged them to avert their anger onto him. As a promise to keep them from targeting Kasumi, they could do as they wished with him. This help prevent the people was overcharging him too much for food. I know people will say other things, but this is just how this world worked. Hiruzen did a lot to help Naruto and Kasumi, but the damn civilian council made things different. This go around, Hiruzen did a lot to help protect Naruto and Kasumi, no matter what people will say this go around. Hiruzen did his absolute best to help them. He did take them in when they needed too, but as a Hokage he couldn't constantly show favoritism. I never thought of it, but keep in mind the Hokage showing favoritism to a certain group of people. Could cause an issue where it could remove the Hokage in current power. I mean the chance of that possibly happening has to be slim to none but could be possible. Like if the Hokage favored the Hyuga Clan completely, it's quite possible the other clans could get fed up with it. They could cause a civil war or some sort of mutiny to place someone else as Hokage. So, even then Hiruzen could only do so much. I don't know what more else to say that Naruto did his best to help protect Kasumi, and then eventually Satsuki when she joined their family home after the Uchiha Massacre. Maybe someone else could come up with a better reason why Naruto took the beatings like he did, but reasoning is how I want it. People make mistakes, Naruto did so doing so this way to protect Kasumi. Keep in mind that these mob people also had like Chunin of willingly Jonin to help out in these attacks. There's not a lot of things Naruto can do against those level of Shinobi. Naruto may have been strong, but he wasn't the level that Itachi was at during his age.
