What happened to the survivors of The Way To Eden?

Not quite a drabble bin, but a lot of one-shots that aren't quite standalone material. Some related, some separate stories I found hidden under 6 layers of folders. No slash, major character deaths, or anything shady. T for utter paranoia, and probably medical angst. And H/C because let's face it- that's 75% of what I write.

Disgruntled with sitting behind a desk. James Kirk considers retirement, much to the chagrin of Dr. McCoy. Kirks tries going to a retirement community and encounters an unexpected foe: A fearsome and very angry Mugato.

Spock surprises McCoy. One-shot short. No romance, just friendship.

Just a short one-shot after the TOS ep "The Immunity Syndrome."

The Enterprise is well into her 5 year mission, and the crew finds themselves captured by an unknown alien race. Things are not what they initially seem, and the challenges of the situation cause Spock to reevaluate how he feels about Nurse Chapel.

Two years after Amanda Grayson's death, Sarek meets an unexpected woman, and discovers the possibility of a life after her death.

"Doctor McCoy had always suspected you couldn't really trust the transporters. And now that Kirk, Uhura, Scotty, and himself were being shoved along one of the ship's endless corridors and pushed into the brig, he was pretty damn sure about that." Mirror, Mirror - and doctor McCoy's revenge. T for angst and other things. I do not own the characters, nor the script lines I used.

Five human behaviors Spock did not understand, and one that he definitely did understand. Six-shot, revolving around the episode Operation - Annihilate! and all its aftermath that we didn't see on screen. Mainly Kirk, Spock, McCoy, some Peter Kirk interaction. Gen.

This is a snippet/drabble. As of yet, I have no plans to make this into a real story. If you want to see more, let me know. Commander Spock forces a stubborn reader to head to sick bay after finding out about an injury she suffered on an away mission. Bones doesn't seem pleased. Romulans invade

Spock does not understand Halloween, just like all the other human holidays. He certainly doesn't approve of it either. But for Kirk and McCoy, who like their chocolates, their costuming, and their yearly TP-ing of the warp engines, have to get Spock into the Halloween spirit before he ruins the mood. And also make sure that Chekov wins the costume contest, while they are at it.

Based on 2x14, 'Wolf in the Fold'. A dark, foggy night is the perfect hunting grounds for a predator, a predator looking for a specific victim... and Scotty has a very specific victim in mind. He knows McCoy is out here somewhere. He only has to find him.

K/S "City at the Edge of Forever" AU. When Kirk and Bones are thrown into the violent, chaotic world of pre-Surak Vulcan, they are given shelter by Spock, an enigmatic rebel. What happens when the weary, jaded captain falls for the unfailingly logical Vulcan will change not only their lives, but also the course of history, forever. (Also on AO3!)

"I'm sorry for a lot of things, Admiral. I've given up trying to prioritize them. I try to deal with them in parallel instead." Before the trial at the end of Star Trek IV, James Kirk tries to convince Admiral Morrow not to throw him out of Starfleet. Even though Spock doesn't appear physically in the scene, it's of course all about him. (Rating K , for language)

When Spock comes to Kirk to "petition for the dissolution of their friendship", Kirk realizes that he really has no idea what this relationship would mean in Spock's alien culture. A story about friendship and culture clashes, and the fact that "t'hyla" and "measured, proportionate reactions" don't seem to go together. (As evidence for that, let me just say: The Search For Spock.)

It seems Kirk spends all his waking - and not so awake - hours on the bridge. Does he think Spock is incompetent to command in his absence, or is there another reason...?

Immediately after the events of "Amok Time," Spock is not quite his normal self. As if that weren't enough, the Enterprise is forced to land on a planet with an unknown disease running rampant. Which figure from Spock's past will they find there? Will they find a cure and an escape in time?
