The Enterprise is on a less than routine mission in a dangerous portion of space. Sandwiched between Tholian Space and the Klingon Empire, the Enterprise is attacked by an unknown vessel which leaves them nearly dead in the water. With disaster upon them, Nurse Chapel and Lieutenant Uhura find it up the themselves to figure things out and figure them quick.

Spock knows and he is pleased. More than pleased.

An emotional Vulcan boy named Suban flees his home world before he is to perform his first mind-meld with his new fiance. He runs into an outcast Klingon teen who helps him overcome his fear and teaches him what it is really means to be Vulcan. Features a cameo by a favorite Enterprise officer.
