Of course, the DEO scientists have studied the spacecraft. They've turned it inside out, removed pieces and put them back in (wrongly, Alex discovers many times). But Alex grew up with a Kryptonian, knows the ways she thinks, how she moves. Knows what is instinctive to Kara, what would seem backwards to humans. Or, how Alex Danvers learned to fly and alien spaceship.

Astra's time in the Phantom Zone torments her, and for some inane reason, Alex wants to help. Whether or not Astra wants it is another matter entirely. Pre-femslash.

Cat wakes up in Kara's body, and Kara in Cat's. The two try to manage living one day in the other person's body. Cat battles Non, while Kara acts as CEO of CatCo. I saw a few bodyswap fan fics, and wanted to write one as well.
