A/N - Hey guys, hope everyone is doing well with all the crap going on in the world. I wanted to post this chapter up sooner but wasn't satisfied with it until now. Went through it so many times until I was satisfied with it and believe it is finally ready. Also, I want to let you all know that part 1 of this story is coming to an end. I have two more chapters left for this part of the story and then I will have finished one of my goals; to finish a 'book'. I know the story is still going, but this has always been in my mind "part 1 or book 1", so with it being completed soon, I'm feeling very good about that right now. Anyways, I know you want to go ahead and read but before I let you, some quick replies to some reviews;

Alan - Glad you liked it

Guest - Thanks buddy and glad that you liked the chapter

Leafy - I'm happy to hear that you like the previous chapter about Giovanni's past and life. Thank you very much for the kind words. I wanted to show how and why Giovanni became who he was and how he made it to the top of Team Rocket. I haven't really seen that elsewhere so I wanted to make one while incorporating some canon facts (such as him and his mother not having a good relationship when he was younger). I'm glad that you and many others found his past to be well done. I was very nervous about that. And with that done, we know both sides to the upcoming battle between Giovanni and Ash, so I hope you and everyone else likes it.

Shiny Palkia - Thanks buddy for the praise and for the encouragement. I don't listen to spam, flames, etc so no worries. I do have to admit it did piss me off a little but then I got over it since he did message me privately and apologized for it.

Again, thank you everyone for reading and hope all of you are doing well. And now, here is the next chapter for you!

THE BLUE SPIRIT

CHAPTER 58 – WHEN ANGELS FALL

Leaning against the walls of the tunnel entrance to the stadium on either side, two Pokemon League officials had been there for a while now. After having admitted the last of the people who were waiting in line inside the arena before the start of the match, they stood at their guarding positions throughout the match. Though they couldn't see the battle, they heard every sound from it. From the explosions caused by different pokemon attacks to the crowds reactions, they heard it all and wondered how the battle was going. Glancing at his watch, the guard on the right nodded to himself. "It's been going on for a quite a while. Figured it would've been over by now." Lowering his hand and looking at his coworker and friend, he smirked a bit. "So, wanna make another bet?" he asked.

"Fuck that!" snapped the other guard, glaring at the other who just snickered. "I will never bet on anything with you, cheating asshole!"

Bursting out with laughter, the first guard hugged his stomach as he hunched over. "Hahaha…it's not my fault…hahaha…that you didn't do your…hahahaha…research!" Hearing growls from his fellow guard, the first straightened out and calmed down after a moment. "Oh come on Doug, you should've known not to take that bet regarding the elite matches," he said while still chuckling.

Letting out a huff, the second guard merely crossed his arms and glared at nothing while staring off to the side. "Whatever Tom. You're still an asshole with your conniving plans."

Wiping a stray tear from his eye caused by his laughing, Tom chuckled a little more before taking in a breath. "Alright, alright. Anyway, what do you think is going to happen? I think the guardian might have bitten a little more than he can chew this time," he remarked, moving their conversation along since they had to be there for the entirety of the match and didn't want it to be with tension between them. Even if it was slightly entertaining how much he could rile up his friend.

Silent for a moment as Doug thought, he turned to face him and spoke as he did so. "Well, I don't really know. It could-" He stopped abruptly as his eyes widened as he looked at something behind his friend.

"What?" asked Tom, seeing his fellow official stop and the stunned expression on his face. His heart rate increasing in speed, Tom slowly turned his gaze behind him before his eyes too widened.

Two very attractive females were running towards them with fear plastered on their faces. "Help us!" called out the one with silver hair hysterically as they continued running towards the two.

"What happened?" questioned Tom as he moved towards them with Doug following after him.

"P-Please, come quick! Our friend's b-been hurt by wild p-pokemon a-attacks!" explained the second girl with blonde hair, her voice quivering with emotion.

Both officials became alarmed and glanced at one another in shock before looking at the two girls. "We'll help, don't you worry. Just let us call for medical aid," reasoned Doug as he attempted to take out his walkie-talkie.

"There's no time!" cried out the silver haired girl as she grabbed hold of his hand, while the blonde grasped Tom's hand. Both girls began dragging the two league officials behind them as they ran into the nearby forest. "You'll do that there! We were able to scare them away but we don't know if they'll come back! And we didn't want to move her in case something was broken!"

The two men glanced at one another while dragged behind the two girls and both knew what the other was thinking. Nodding, they faced forward and began running along with the girls. "Alright we get it, but why did you just leave her alone?!" asked Doug with worry.

"My pokemon is watching over her but he's all I have left after the rest were knocked out! We have to hurry!" explained the blonde.

"Okay, just show us the way!" replied back Tom. Soon enough, the two officials were led into a clearing where they saw a lone female with pink hair on the ground with an Abra standing beside her. The psychic type looked at them as they entered the field but did nothing except float a few feet away from the girl. The two officials noticed a metal headband on the psychic but ignored it, deciding to instead focus on the girl on the ground in front of them. Gathering closer to her before crouching near the girl, they noticed her many wounds, with her clothes in tatters and dried blood spots all over. "Oh my god…looks like she was tortured…"

"She's still alive!" yelped Doug after checking her pulse. "We have to hurry, she doesn't have much time left but what the hell happened?" he asked while moving to take out his walkie-talkie.

"We happened."

Both officials froze from those two words since it was stated with such sadistic glee. They slowly turned to see the two girls who brought them here sporting identical maniacal grins on their faces. Each girl was holding a dagger in their right hands. Fear engulfed the two men and before they could say or do anything, a sharp intense pain spread through their bodies after being directly stabbed in the heart. Withdrawing their blades, the girls watched the officials crumple to the ground in broken, lifeless heaps. "Predictable useless saps," insulted the blonde while wiping her blade clean of her victim's blood by rubbing it against his clothes.

"Duh, that's what we were hoping for Annie," remarked the silver haired girl with an evil smirk.

Annie rolled her eyes before replying back. "Shut up Oakley." Finishing up in cleaning her blade, she then put it away before facing her sister. "Alright, with part one of the plan done by opening up a path for the ground forces, we gotta move onto the next part. Hurry up, we gotta grab the weapons and get into position. The match will probably finish up soon."

"On it." Oakley finished cleaning her weapon too and then moved with her sister towards their weapon stash that was hidden nearby. Locating it, they opened it and put on their gear and equipment. "Should we finish off the bitch too?" questioned the silver haired girl while they got ready.

"We don't have the time and there's no need. She can't move or make a sound. She'll be dead soon enough," answered Annie. After finishing, the two glanced at one another and nodded before looking at the psychic. Knowing what it needed to do, Abra's eyes glowed blue before the three of them teleported away.

After the two Rocket sisters left, a moment later the pink haired girl stirred slightly. Wheezing for breath as she experienced indescribable pain throughout her body, she was barely able to open her eyes. The first thing she saw was the two dead officials beside her on the ground. If she hadn't already gone through hell herself, the sight of the two dead men would've shocked and frightened her. But now, though she didn't like to admit it, she couldn't care about at all. For the moment she saw them, an idea sprung forth within her mind that she was determined to do, especially since it more than likely would be the last thing she would ever do; she had to get to one of them, get a hold of their walkie-talkie and inform the league of the Rockets' appearance.

Dragging herself along the ground, the girl whimpered and cried out in pain but still continued. She could feel her body growing cold and weak but her will to do at least something before she passed was driving her forward. She wanted to get back at them for all the hell they put her through. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, she reached the man closest to her. Reaching towards his belt, she fumbled at taking out the communications device for a few seconds before finally able to take it out.

Bringing it close to her lips, she used whatever strength she had left to push the button on the side and spoke into it in barely above a whisper. "N-Natalie reporting i-in. E-emer…gency situ…ation…protocol alpha…b-bravo…one n-niner. Roc…Rockets a-attac…king…" Unable to continue anymore, her grip loosened on the device and it fell from her grasp. Losing consciousness, Natalie did her best to stay awake but it was futile because of so many wounds and so much blood loss. As her eyes struggled to stay open, she saw within her mind's eye the one who she fell for. Seeing the raven haired guardian's image one last time in her mind, the pink haired girl's lips spread into a slight smile as the image gave her a proud smile back along with a curt nod. Eyes finally closed as a single word escaped her lips in such a low voice that no one would've been able to hear it. "Ash…"

"Oh my Mew, I can't believe it! He won! He won!" exclaimed the blue haired woman excitedly in the chair, while the pokemon beside her wagged his tail enthusiastically. Officer Jenny had been watching the extended matches of the tournament and even though she had seen the aura guardian's ability before, she was absolutely amazed over the power and skill that the young man portrayed against the strongest trainers in the world. Glancing down at her pokemon, she beamed at him. "It's incredible, isn't it Growlithe?" she asked the black and orange fire dog, who barked in agreement. Petting him lovingly over the top of his head, which caused him to whine happily over it, she faced the screen once more. "To think Ash was able to defeat all the champions at once. And with just Pikachu! Arceus, that's so amazing I can't even think of words to describe it fully." She watched as the raven haired guardian hugged the electric mouse and cheer together in triumph, making her smile again as she felt so happy to see him happy. When the two went to meet up with the champions in the middle of the field, she spoke out loud her thoughts. "Well, now it just comes down to the Master showing up within two days. I wonder if he'll come? Either way, I think-"

BOOM! A loud explosion was heard as the building shook from it for a couple of seconds, cutting off the peace keeper from continuing but made her yelp instead. "What the hell?!" she exclaimed in shock and fright as she stood up with Growlithe already ready, taking his place by her side. "We need to go find out what that was!" she told her pokemon, who barked in agreement. The two made their way towards the back of the building, where the sound of the explosion seemed to have originated from. Drawing closer, she started hearing shouts and screams from unknown voices as well as from her fellow police officers. Multiple gunshots and what she assumed to be the sounds of pokemon attacks were heard that made her heart beat quicken. Though she was filling up with fear and concern, she was able to maintain a level head thanks to her training and experience. Drawing out her pistol from her side with her right while with her left she signaled Growlithe silently who understood what they were about to do and they began their move.

Quickly yet carefully making their way to the area the sounds were coming from, Officer Jenny and Growlithe were soon at the entrance to the holding cells for prisoners. Before entering, she tried to contact others by using her walkie-talkie so she can get an update on what was going on and to possibly get some back up but no one replied back to her. Suddenly, the noises from the other side of the door died down. Muttering curse words under her breath, Jenny glanced at Growlithe, who was facing her with a serious expression on his face. She nodded, understanding him. Looks like we're on our own right now, we can't back down. Readying herself, Officer Jenny once again signaled her pokemon who got into position. Taking in a breath, she then slowly opened the door and stepped inside with her pistol held up in firing position while Growlithe followed by her side, ready to attack and defend her at all costs. Yet the two were stunned still at what they saw after stepping inside quietly.

In front of the duo some distance away from them were the three prisoners they were detaining out of their cells and standing with several Team Rocket grunts. Along with them stood a woman in a large purple coat that covered her entire body while high tech goggles were adorned on her face. I can't believe it! Why would Team Rocket break those three out?! And who is that woman?! Why do I have the feeling I should know who she is?! How did they even get in here?! It was then she noticed that there was a large hole in the wall behind them, leading to the outside world. Officer Jenny had her eyes widened, correctly assuming that it was caused by the bomb they had heard exploding. Looking around some more, she saw that there was rubble all over the place, as well as several of her comrades on the ground, either knocked out or dead, judging from the blood marks all over the place. Officer Jenny filled with fear but also anger. How dare them! I have to stop them!

No sooner had she thought that when the woman with the coat and goggles, without even looking in their direction, raised her left hand towards the area that the blunette peacekeeper was at and fired at her using her wrist mounted cannon without hesitation. With no time to think or do anything, Officer Jenny just stood there in shock. At the last second however, the black and orange fire dog jumped to be between his master and friend. Struck by the shell, Growlithe was blasted backwards and collided into Officer Jenny, who was in turn blasted down onto the ground. The wind knocked out of her, she was momentarily stunned. But that was the least of her concerns since when she got some air back into her lungs and tried to move, she couldn't get up. Seeing her pokemon still on top of her, she spoke. "Growlithe, get up!" she said with urgency yet the fire dog didn't move. It didn't even look like he was breathing. "Growlithe?" whispered Officer Jenny with concern.

"Don't waste your breath." Looking up from the floor while pinned down by her own pokemon, Officer Jenny's eyes widened with alarm at the goggled woman staring down at her. "I was aiming for you, but looks like your pokemon took the shot for you. Looks like their reputation for unending loyalty was well earned. It doesn't matter though. You want to know why?" Pulling out a grenade, she held it up for the officer to see, causing her eyes to widen and her body filled up with fear as her heart began beating rapidly. "Because I am Hunter J. And I never let my targets go free." A maniacal grin spread over her face seeing the look of horror and hopelessness plastered all over the blunette after realizing who she is. "Goodbye," she said with an evil sneer as she walked away towards the hole in the wall to use as a makeshift exit, the others having already vacated the area. She was about to leave when she stopped and looked back. "Oh, silly me. Here's your parting gift." Pulling the pin on the grenade, she then tossed it towards the downed officer's position before disappearing outside.

Officer Jenny could do nothing but watch while being pinned down by her own pokemon. Watching it soar through the air, the grenade then fell down onto the ground and rolled a bit before stopping nearby her. Instincts taking over, she reached out for the grenade to grab it and toss it away, stretching out her arm. It was just barely out of reach and she strained to grab it, trying to shimmy her body towards it with the dead weight on top of her. "C'mon! Please!" she begged out loud to no one with eyes filling up with water, fear coating her words. I don't want to die!

An orange paw was placed all of a sudden on top of the grenade, making the blunette stop moving. Without any hesitation, the second Growlithe had come to from his sudden unconscious state, he used the last of his strength and basically threw himself on top of the grenade, making the blunette realize what he was doing, making her let out tears while shouting. "No! Just thr-" The grenade suddenly exploded, its timer having finally counted down. One second Officer Jenny was looking at her pokemon with a fear filled and tear marred face while trying to move to him. And the next, she was thrown from the subdued force of the blast. Crashing against the wall hard, she dropped to the ground and didn't move again.

Any moment now. That's all a single person was thinking as he sat alone in the security office of the Pokemon League Headquarters that was stationed near the Indigo Plateau. Well, technically he wasn't alone, since several unconscious bodies were around him. He never did like dirtying his own hands, yet sometimes, it was needed. Though he never took a life himself, he found alternative ways to get rid of human obstacles. And after this particular job, he would finally be able to relax. Because after years of living a double life, he would soon be able to cast one aside and finally live the life he's always wanted. A life of peace, security and happiness along with the woman of his dreams who he had just recently met.

Sudden beeping caught his attention at once and he grabbed his phone. Reading the message sent to him, he didn't hesitate in following the plan. Setting his phone down, he quickly went to work. Entering the emergency code to override the security systems of the headquarters, the man soon took control. And once he did, he shutdown every single defensive mechanism of the system in short order. Once completed, he sent a message of his own that his part of the plan was finished. Looking up at the many screens that televised the security feed of all the cameras in the building, the man watched as numerous figures dressed in black uniforms that shone a large capital red 'R' in the front entered the building.

Watching them move quickly and efficiently, he witnessed them break off into smaller groups who in turn entered different areas. Assuming each squad had their own objectives, he was soon proven correct as the feed showed them doing many things. Hacking into computers in the research area. Collecting experiment notes and DNA samples from the laboratory. Taking resources from the supplies quarters such as potions, poke balls and many other related items. The last thing he noticed them doing was releasing the prisoners from the first stadium attack, freeing them from their strait jackets and metal bindings. As soon as they did, an Abra appeared amongst them, most likely brought out by one of the Rockets. But this one had a strange metallic headband on it. A second later, the psychic pokemon and the released prisoners vanished from the spot with the Rockets leaving the area right afterwards.

Watching them do everything with no obstacles blocking their paths for the moment, the man wondered when the league officials would realize what had transpired here. Hours? Days? He didn't know and honestly he didn't really care. For he would be long gone by that time. He knew there was nobody left at headquarters to cause him or Team Rocket any issues right now. He had seen to it as part of their plan to do this as quickly as possible with as little bloodshed as possible. That was one of his conditions for even though he was the organization's mole for many years, he still didn't want to hurt the people he worked with all this time.

His condition was accepted as long as it didn't complicate matters. Agreeing to it since there was no alternative, the mole worked with them to come up with a plan that would allow everyone to get what they wanted. He had taken out the security personnel easily enough with some spiked drinks earlier and they would be out cold for a few hours at the very least. Most of the others were at home or away at from headquarters due to the extended matches of the tournament. For the remaining league officials who were still here, including the trainers, staff, researchers and several others, were now locked in the main living quarters. Having made an announcement in the PA system in the building that everyone was required to be there for a mandatory meeting regarding a new procedure update, he then used the electronic locks to trap them in there. Of course, he did have them relinquish their pokemon before doing so by telling them that their pokemon had to go through a physical as well to make sure they were in top shape. He wasn't that stupid to give them a way out. But he couldn't believe just how easy it all was. It was then that he realized what he was told so long ago was true; that people will listen, be obedient even, to those who have power.

Speaking of power, he glanced at his phone when it rang. Knowing who it was, he picked it up immediately. "Is it done?" A stern tone of voice asked him from the other end of the line.

Glancing at the screens, the mole answered him. "Nearly. They're finishing up now and some squads are already making their retreat."

"Good. Any problems?"

Looking around him once more at the still sleeping personnel, he shook his head out of habit before replying. "None so far. Security is still snoozing away and the skeleton crew is locked in the living quarters. All according to plan," he remarked while turning his sight back onto the screens.

"Good," stated the voice. "Once the last squad is out of there, they'll regroup with their commander. After they do that, you have five minutes to get out of there."

At this, the man turned away from the screens, giving his full attention to the person on the other end of the line. "What do you mean?" he asked in confusion.

"What do you think?"

His eyes widened and he stood up, realizing what he meant. "No! This wasn't part of the plan and this isn't needed! We had an agreement!"

"Agreements can be changed. Especially when one of the parties decides to withhold critical information from the rest," growled the voice.

"I told you that wasn't my fault! I didn't know until you found out! We've been working together for years or did you forget? Why would I betray you now?" he asked angrily, fuming over the accusations.

"True," replied the voice calmly. "But people change. And so have you. Ever since you met that nurse at the hospital." The mole shuddered in his spot as his breath hitched. "That's right, I know. You should've known that sooner or later, I eventually find out what's going on. And now you're done it. Late reports. Barely any details on crucial things. Completely neglecting to inform me of new inventions. And that's just a few of the things you've done wrong. We had a deal and worked together for years, yes. But you know better than anyone to betray me in any form. This is betrayal but because of our past history and my respect for that, that is why I'm letting you know in advance. You have five minutes. Consider this farewell, Jason Masters," said the voice without any hint of remorse in his tone before the line went dead.

He couldn't believe it. After working together for so many years, Jason couldn't believe that his partner would just cut him off without any hesitation. His shock turned into anger and soon he was boiling. "That piece of shit! I'll kill that fucking bastard!" He was about to lose it when he remembered what else was said. That he had five minutes to flee or else he would be blown to smithereens, just like everyone and everything else in the building. Snapping his attention to the screens, he found that all of the Team Rocket members had left and the only ones left were the league members trapped in the living quarters along with those in the security room.

Sitting back down, he immediately went to work, clearing the override in the security system and unlocking the locks in the living quarters. He would not be involved with unnecessary bloodshed and he would not allow his now former partner to get away with anything. Pressing a button on the console in front of him, he spoke afterwards. "This is an emergency evacuation. This is not a drill. I repeat, this is an emergency evacuation. Not a drill. Please make your way to the nearest exits. Don't worry about your pokemon as they have been teleported to the nearest pokemon center already. I repeat, this is not a drill. This is an emergency evacuation. Please make your way to the nearest exits." After saying all that, he pressed another button that replayed his message on repeat. Pressing another button, the emergency lights and sirens turned on. Standing up, he withdrew a poke ball from his belt and brought out one of his pokemon. An overly buff four armed humanoid pokemon appeared. "Machamp, we need to get out of here. Grab the ones here and clear the way!"

Without a word, the fighting type picked up the several knocked out persons and carried them in his two upper arms while the lower two he used to punch through the wall, creating his own path. Walking through it, the superpower pokemon continued forward, punching through walls with relative ease as he cleared the way for his trainer. Following after him, Jason hoped that everyone would be able to clear the building before time runs out. He was optimistic about it since the living quarters were located on the lower floors of the building. The security room however was higher up but he had his pokemon with him so he believed he should be alright.

Machamp came up to another wall before he broke it down to reveal the outside world with a burst of air flowing into the building that signified the end of the line. Turning around to face and then lift his trainer into his right lower arm, the fighting type then jumped out through the hole without a second's pause. Landing onto the hard ground with his knees bent to absorb the pressure caused by gravity from so high up, it only took a mere second for the superpower pokemon to shrug it off and kept moving. As his pokemon kept running, Jason moved his head so he could look behind him towards the headquarters building. He couldn't tell if the people were able to escape in time or not, unable to see the front of the headquarters where the entrance was.

It was at that moment that multiple muffled explosions were heard that came from all floors of the building. The windows shattered and debris broke off the building before the pieces flew in every direction from the force. Tremors rocked through the nearby area surrounding it as the top floors collapsed in on itself before the half destroyed building was soon engulfed in flames. His pokemon stopped because of the tremors and dropped to a knee to stabilize himself so he wouldn't fall. Getting out of his pokemon's embrace, Jason stood and looked at the once untouchable headquarters of the Pokemon League now going up in literal flames. "I can't believe it. It's all my fault…damn it! Damn it! I never should've trusted him! Damn you Giovanni! This isn't the end! I will get you back for this! I swear it!" shouted Jason with anger, before just screaming in rage.

His yell was suddenly silenced as a bullet dug into his neck. His pokemon let out a cry of surprise and fear, rushing to his trainer instantly while dropping the unconscious persons onto the ground without thought. Grabbing his throat with both of his hands as he desperately tried to keep the essential life fluid from gushing out, Jason was beginning to choke on his own blood while his pokemon held him with all four of his hands, talking in a panic in his poke speech, asking what to do since he didn't know what to do in this situation. Most problems he just punched away. But he couldn't do that here and it was making him frustrated and angry that he couldn't help his trainer at all who was just making gargled choking sounds. While being held by his pokemon, Jason Masters, part of the Pokemon League board of directors as well as the now ex-mole of Team Rocket, slowly and painfully died with the only thought in his mind that of being unable to get back at Giovanni Sakaki for his treachery.

A good distance away from the dying man and his sullen pokemon, a duo consisting of man and woman were stationed at a nearby hill that over looked the area. The man, with green hair, smiled evilly as he looked through his binoculars. "Target down. Nice shot," he complimented.

Ejecting the empty shell from her long range rifle, the woman with long, light brown hair loaded another before looking through its scope. "I know. Looks like he definitely won't be spilling any secrets," she mused darkly before chuckling. Sitting up before standing up, the woman hoisted the rifle around her shoulders using its attached strap. "Let's go Butch. Our job is done here," she told him as she grabbed a poke ball off her belt.

"What about the others?" asked Butch even as he readied his own poke ball. "They were able to escape in time."

She glanced at him with a serious look and he just shrugged with a look that said 'What?' She sighed before explaining. "Doesn't matter. Boss only wanted the mole. He knew that he would act this way and needed to tie up a loose end, especially after his recent failures. The escapees are of no importance." Calling out her pokemon, a large darkly colored flying type pokemon appeared and stood beside her. She mounted it as she continued. "Hurry up, we gotta go."

Understanding her, Butch nodded and smirked. "Alright Cassidy. Let's get back to the station. I want to have some fun myself." Calling out the same type of pokemon of his own, he mounted it and then the two made their way towards the large satellite orbiting high above the stadium to add support to the stadium attack as part of their plan.

Sometimes he wondered if there was a way to trick a pokemon into killing itself. Or at the very least maim or injure itself in one way or another. He never did think such things before and wondered why he was now. Until he figured that's what happens when one is constantly by a pokemon that one just so happens to loath with their entire being.

At least, that's what John thought because of a certain blue ninja frog pokemon. He had already grown tired and annoyed by it within the first few minutes of his first time being there. But after a couple of days of his acting of the concerned boyfriend to his comatose girlfriend while constantly being watched by that disgusting pokemon, he was so close to losing it. The only things that kept him from doing so was the plan he had made with the deadliest agent ever to be in Team Rocket's organization. For soon he would be able to kill two Pidgeys with one stone. One of course would be the end of that irritating frog who constantly kept watch from the corner of the room while never sleeping, which had made him wonder if the damn thing ever slept. The second and more important thing to him would be to finally get what he wanted, which was the red haired woman that was lying on the hospital bed. Oh, how he couldn't wait to finally take her. All he was waiting for was the sign.

BEEP! Receiving a message, John looked at his phone and read the message sent to him. A lecherous smile spread on his face. It's time to get what I deserve! They'll be causing a ruckus any second now and that'll be my cue! Smiling inwardly, he put away his phone and began preparing himself mentally to play his part. He got his first indication that something was happening when both the frog pokemon and the healing pokemon took a few steps away from their respective corners. Glancing at them, John wondered if they had sensed the squad that's supposed to come here to distract them already. Before he could think more about that, soon enough the muffled surprised shouts and fearful screams were heard through the room's door.

Looking at one another, the guardian's pokemon nodded at each other before Greninja made his way out of the room. When he opened the door, the muffled sounds were heard fully and both pokemon knew there was trouble. Quickly moving, the ninja frog closed the door while a water shuriken appeared in his left hand. Blissey moved to stand near the door after he left. Giving John a reassuring look that said all will be alright, John could do nothing but nod and face the redhead on the bed to hide the scowl that appeared on his face. Shit, this one stayed behind. I need to make this one leave too. But how?

Thinking for a bit, he got his answer when the screaming and shouting continued along with new noises that he could only interpret as pokemon attacks. Turning his head to look at the pokemon again, he spoke. "Blissey, do you think that Greninja will be alright? It doesn't sound like things are going alright out there," he remarked. Gesturing to him that everything will be ok, John let out a sigh. "I understand but I think you should go help him." Tilting her head, he continued, not letting her speak. "We're fine in here and I'll do everything I can to protect my girlfriend Natasha. I know you gave your word to your trainer that you'll protect her too, but isn't this part of it?" His words made the caring pokemon widen her eyes a bit in understanding. "Please, we'll be fine in here. Just go help Greninja because from what its sounding like, there's a tough battle going on. You should help him defeat them and then come back. Sound good?" he asked her. Not able to find any problems with his words and reasoning, Blissey decided that it would be the right course of action to leave the room and go help her comrade. Giving a serious face at him, Blissey nodded and walked closer to the door. John got up and went to the door as well, making the pokemon look at him. "I'll lock the door after you leave so we can be a little safer. I'll open it for you when you come back. Just knock three times. Okay?" he told her and the round pink pokemon nodded without hesitation over his suggestion. Opening the door for her, she quickly left the room and John closed the door and locked it immediately afterwards.

He stood there for a moment, taking in a breath before letting it out. That was easier than I thought it would be. Shifting his gaze towards the only other occupant in the room, John had his lips spread into a smile. Walking towards his target, he could feel his heart beating a little faster since he was feeling a little anxious over what he was going to do. But that didn't stop him as he reached her and began by removing most of the unessential wires and sensors from her while the important ones he didn't take off, but moved them out of the way so they wouldn't bother him. Once that was done, he reached behind her neck to untie the binds so he can remove the hospital gown before grasping the top of her gown near her neck and looked at her face at the same time.

He froze at that moment, his self-conscious getting to him.

For when he looked at her face, eyes closed, no expression and completely unable to stop him from what he was about to do, it caused him to stop. It also made him think again about his actions. Is…Is this really what I'm going to do? As much as I want her, as much as I've dreamed about this, can I really go through with this? He was lost in his thoughts for a moment, wrestling with what he should do even though he planned to do this for a few days now. Coming to a conclusion, he shook his head, taking in a breath as he did so. Doesn't matter anymore. Domino said that she's going to be killed regardless whether I do it or not. Might as well have some fun and though she won't be conscious for this, I'll make sure that it would've been enjoyable for her if she was.

With no more doubts, John pulled down Natasha's gown and tossed it aside. His eyes widened as his pulse quickened at seeing her finally in the nude after so long. Stretching out his left hand, he grabbed one of her breasts. So soft. So perky. Continuing his molestation of Natasha with his left hand, John used his right hand to undo his clothes so he can take what he's been wanting for so long.

When Greninja left Natasha's room, he quickly moved to the location where the commotion and chaos was coming from. Multiple small explosions and blasts were heard with some stray attacks traveling all over the place. Finding the source as he rounded a hallway's corner, his normally stoic demeanor changed to that of rage at witnessing the cause of this. Almost a dozen Team Rocket agents with their pokemon in front of them were attacking at everyone and everything. Most were dressed in the typical black uniforms but there was one wearing white, which the frog pokemon figured to be their leader. Multiple people were already injured, crying out in fright and pain. Nurses and patients were hiding behind desks, chairs, counters and anything else they could. While they tried to hide and survive, the hospital security along with some visiting trainers were battling against the Rockets.

Rapidly looking over the situation, the ninja frog figured out that the evil group had the advantage with their numbers and fighting dirty. Not only that, but their pokemon were slightly larger than normal and had darkened red spots all over them. A shocked expression formed on his face after realizing that the Rockets' pokemon were mutated, just like the ones involved in the stadium attack. Without wasting any more time, Greninja rushed forward to help while tossing the water ninja star from his webbed hand. It struck one of the rocket's Golbats who shrieked in pain before it was sent colliding into the wall from the force of the attack. Everyone looked to see where it came from and found the Kalos starter sprinting towards the group of Team Rocket grunts. "There he is! Get him!" shouted one of the female rockets from the group. Several more poke balls were opened and immediately their mutated inhabitants engaged their attacker.

Greninja grew angrier and became slightly frustrated over the increased number of combatants he had to deal with. Sure, the trainers and security personnel were there but he doubted they would be much help against the abnormal pokemon. Yet he didn't give up and kept fighting, battling against several at once while doing his best to stay aware of his surroundings. While doing so, he attempted to contact his trainer to request aid but he didn't get a response. Astonished over that, he tried again and again yet each time it was the same result. His heart rate increased as he wondered if his trainer was alright for he knew that he would never not respond back unless something had happened to him. Because of his thoughts, anger and fear filled him, increasing his adrenaline and he fought savagely with no holding back.

While the Kalos starter kept fighting, the healing pokemon made her way through the hospital, searching for her comrade. As she did so, she stopped to heal several others who had been able to escape the carnage and were just trying to survive. After helping a few, Blissey kept moving and could hear the battle getting louder, letting her know she was nearing it. However, before she could travel down the hallway to turn the corner, a sudden scream drew her attention. Turning her gaze to her side, she found one of the hospital staff who would come in and check on her trainer's friend on the floor hiding behind the counter. Hurriedly making her way to her, she found that she was crying and muttering under her breath. Reaching out, she touched her shoulder with her small hand.

"Aaah!" screamed the nurse, startled over the sudden action and she fell back against the counter wall. Looking at the one who touched her, it took a few seconds for her to realize who it was and she calmed down slightly. "Blissey?! Oh my Mew, what's going on?! Why is Team Rocket here?! Why are they fighting?! What should we do and where can we go?!" Unable to stop from her fear controlling her, she kept asking questions until the pink pokemon had enough. Using her Psychic attack, she was able to stop the nurse from rambling on and while maintaining the hold, pointed at her and then at the name tag pinned on her chest before releasing the hold. Realizing what she was saying, the nurse understood and nodded. "You're right. I'm sorry. I'm Adrine Johansen and as a nurse of this great hospital, I can't lose it. I have to protect my patients." Getting up into a crouching position, she took out her cell phone and began dialing a number. "Thank you for your help Blissey. I'm gonna call and see if we can get some reinforcements and then I'll look for my friend Lilit. She'll know what to do until back up arrives." Blissey nodded with a slight smile before moving away from the nurse and headed towards where the chaos was.

One of the things that can truly anger the young raven haired guardian would be betrayal. As evidenced before with him blowing things out of proportion in the past over a slight one caused by his childhood friend who is now his girlfriend, that single incident should've been warning enough. Especially to the Original One who no doubt would've seen it due to his vast powers. But apparently, the creator of everything didn't care about that and had outright lied to him, betraying his trust and faith in him. And it wasn't the first time either. The creator of all had done the exact same thing to him. He would not let this go unanswered no matter what.

But he had to put that on hold for now because even though he was angry over the realization of what Arceus had done, Ash had to worry about another problem that was in front of him right now. And that problem consisted of dozens and dozens of Team Rocket members on top of their flying pokemon in the air currently surrounding the stadium. And the moment they appeared, the stadium's metal doors were shut closed, preventing escape. He wondered for a moment why they were just waiting up in the air without making a move. Quickly pushing that wondering aside, he focused on the danger they posed instead.

Until sudden movements caught his attention and he looked at the ones who made them. He found the psychic type elite trainers holding their heads after having fallen on to their knees and groaning in pain as their fellow elites tried to find out what was wrong. What followed after was a shrill scream of pain that made his heart skip a beat and he snapped his gaze towards the source of it. He found the psychic prodigy collapsed on the stands while holding her head and screaming in anguish while her close friends Clair and Liza futilely tried to console her. Nearby the three, Ash found Anabel also holding her head with a pained expression on her face with Leaf and Sarah trying to see if she was okay. She wasn't writhing around in pain like Sabrina but she was still in some sort of agony. What the hell?! "Sabrina! Anabel! What's wrong?!" called out Ash to them but they didn't reply back. The girls moved closer to them and tried to do something while the others kept guard but it wasn't helping. No…no no no no no! What did they do?!

Moving his gaze back towards the still unmoving Rockets in the air, Ash's eyes narrowed with rage as his hands clenched into fists. Somehow, they're causing their pain! They'll pay dearly for it! His aura manifesting outwards, a glowing blue outline appeared around him before his blue flame like aura flared out powerfully like a roaring flame while making the elites who hadn't seen him do that in person to become astonished at the power he displayed.

The moment Ash unleashed his aura however, was the moment that all hell broke loose.

Taking the display of his power as their queue, the dozens of aerial Rockets dive bombed towards the people in the stands and attacked without warning or hesitation. Screams of fright and shouts of pain were heard all throughout the stadium along with many flashes of bright white lights as the villainous group called out their pokemon who began attacking anything and everything within reach.

At the same time, the elites and champions brought out their other pokemon besides their main ones since they were currently unavailable because of their recent battles and intercepted them. Many trainers in the stands fought back, releasing their pokemon as well. Along with them, some from Ash's group of family and friends also called forth their pokemon to defend themselves.

Yet, even with so many powerful trainers fighting back against the Rockets, they were being overwhelmed because of sheer numbers. Worse still was that all of the attacking pokemon were mutated, being slightly larger than normal with darkened red spots all over them. Just like the ones from the first stadium attack. And because of that, many who tried to fight back were quickly realizing that they were fighting an uphill battle.

But that wasn't the worst thing happening. When Ash saw them begin their attack, he attempted to summon his own pokemon to the battle. But for some reason he couldn't. He felt his energy dwindling and his aura was flickering while hearing his thundering heart in his head. Dropping to one knee, and panting for breath, he couldn't believe what was happening. Pikachu was still at his side, worried about Ash yet kept watch over their surroundings. In his exhausted state, he knew he wouldn't be able to do much but wouldn't let anything happen to his trainer and friend without at least attempting to protect him. What the fuck is going on?! His heart continued beating rapidly over the situation as someone drew close to him.

"Ash, what's wrong?!" came Cynthia's worried and fear toned voice beside him as she knelt down beside him after making sure her pokemon were still battling and didn't need her guidance at the moment.

Before he could answer, another voice was heard as the silver haired champion positioned himself near the two with his back to them, keeping his gaze on the fighting in front of him. "We could really use your help right now Ash. What's the holdup?" asked Steven urgently.

"I…I…can't maintain my a-aura," responded Ash through gritted teeth, the glow dimming around him.

"What does that mean?!" squeaked Cynthia in astonishment.

Another answered for Ash as he too stood around the two. "It probably means he can't summon his pokemon," commented Alder as he kept an eye out for the weakening guardian and the blonde champion.

Cynthia's eyes widened as she locked her gaze onto Ash. She was about to ask if that was true but didn't, as the flame like aura energy around him shrunk in size right then, answering her unasked question. "Ash?! How is this happening?! What's wrong?!"

"I-I don't know! The more I try to maintain my aura, the faster it's slipping away!" shot Ash, his tone of voice covered with multiple emotions. "I'm sorry! I don't know why it's happening! This has never happened before! I-"

"Ash!" interjected Cynthia, hugging him suddenly and taking control at once, dropping her uncertainty. "Don't worry about that right now! Just focus! You can do this! We'll keep you safe until you can bring in reinforcements! No matter what!" With those words said, Cynthia stood up and turned her attention to her battling pokemon with her back to Ash. She, along with Alder and Steven, did the same to protect the vulnerable guardian from the attack until he could do something. While those three did that, Lance and Cynthia were busy spear heading the counter assault.

Ash moved his gaze towards the Sinnoh Champion while his heart rate increased, seeing her take charge and do what she can. Thank you Cynthia. He closed his eyes and concentrated, trying to contact his friend and partner in all this. With his energy dwindling, it took him a few tries to ready the link to contact him. "Mewtwo! Got an emergency here! Can you hear me?"

The psychic feline's voice was immediately heard inside the guardian's head. "Finally! I've been trying to contact you for a while now. What's wrong Ash?!"

"Team Rocket attacked!" Ash didn't need to see his friend to see the angry scowl on the feline's face that he knew was there. "They made their move! Arceus lied! They've surrounded the stadium and attacking as we speak!"

"Curse them all to hell!" Mewtwo's mental voice was coated with anger and contempt. "We'll deal with Arceus later, mark my words. But for now, let's focus on what's happening at the moment. You said they've surrounded the stadium?"

"Yes they have. There are dozens of them. And they have mutated pokemon again and they're attacking nonstop! And for some reason, I'm losing energy fast! I can barely maintain my aura and my mental link with you!" Mewtwo's eyes widened in shock at hearing that but he was unable to respond since Ash continued his mental communication. "We're barely holding out! The smartest thing would be to just teleport us and everyone else outta here. Mewtwo, teleport us all to safety!"

Though they couldn't see each other at the moment, the purple feline's expression turned serious. "Will do! Just hold on!" In his position on New Island, Mewtwo's eyes glowed blue and he concentrated on all the people located at the Indigo Plateau stadium. Yet, for some reason, he couldn't pinpoint their location. And what's more, it felt like he was being thrown way off course and he was getting a headache trying to focus onto it. He knew were the stadium was but wasn't able to lock onto it. What the hell?! He tried again but still nothing. He even attempted to teleport himself to the stadium yet he couldn't while it also gave a sharp throbbing in his head. Mewtwo let out a grunt of pain and was starting to feel like he was somehow disabled from using his teleportation abilities in some way. Impossible!

"Mewtwo, what's taking so long?!" Came Ash's voice to his mind with concern and worry.

"Ash, I don't know how or why but I'm unable to teleport the people out of there. What's more, I can't teleport to you either. I can't do anything of the sort with anyone or anything!"

Ash's glowing eyes widened in shock, unable to fully comprehend what he just heard. "What the hell do you mean?! Mewtwo, do something!"

"I can't!" Mewtwo's mental voice was coated with frustration. "My teleportation isn't working! The only thing I can think of is…is…" Mewtwo let out a shocked gasp as something sprung into his mind suddenly. "Of course! It makes sense! Ash, Team Rocket most likely has anti-psychic equipment with them! Just like when we dealt with the Skull Brothers! And now that the whole world knows I'm with you, they would've prepared something to counter me!"

Ash was unable to keep himself from letting out a startled sound, having figured out what's probably causing his girlfriends Sabrina and Anbel, along with the other psychic users in the stadium, to become enveloped with painful headaches. His yelp made the champions nearby him and some of the elites who were pushed back towards their position to also look at him. "What do we do Mewtwo?! I can barely hold the mental link and I-SHIT!"

"Ash?! ASH?!"

"The flames are almost gone! Mewtwo, my aura is regressing back into me! But I think I can manage to bring you before I lose it completely!"

Ash was about to concentrate on Mewtwo's premier ball to transport his friend and ally but then the purple feline spoke up. "No, wait! Don't bring me!" Startled over that, Ash asked him why. "If they have something that is hindering my abilities, then as much as I hate to admit it, I won't be able to fight, not at full strength anyway. If anything, you should bring another one of your strongest pokemon instead right now!"

"But who?! I don't know who can help the most in this situation!"

Mewtwo quickly thought who and fortunately, figured it out within a split second. "The Lord of Dragons! Summon Rayquaza! He'll be able to do something while the rest of us travel there!"

"Alright! And please, hurry Mewtwo!"

"We're on my way Ash! Just hold on!" And with that, Mewtwo flew into the air above New Island, his eyes glowing blue as he noticed one of his fellow legendaries vanish from sight with a blue glow a moment later. Don't have much time. But I need to check something first since it could cut down on travel time. Concentrating on where he knows the stadium is, he found that he was once again being thrown of course. Damn it! What is keeping me from teleporting? Is it everywhere?! He randomly tried another area to attempt to teleport. Landing on Vermilion City, he found that he was able to detect it with no problem and able to teleport there and out with no issue. Alright, then it is just that location. How close can I get to it? Concentrating again, Mewtwo quickly went to work and soon found the edge of the anti-teleportation area. Damn it! How can they cover such a large area?! It's gonna take us some time to travel by flight! Damn it!

His eyes glowed a brighter blue and the remaining pokemon on the island were outlined with a blue glow and brought up into the air around the purple feline thanks to his powers. Before they could even ask what was going on, the purple feline informed them of the situation. "Ash is in trouble!" Many roars of rage and screeches of fury were let out as the psychic legendary ignored them and continued. "For some reason, we can't teleport or be summoned directly to him! We're gonna have to teleport part of the way and then fly the rest of the way there! Prepare for war!" Without waiting for a response, Mewtwo teleported himself and the army of pokemon to the edge of the teleportation barrier before they immediately began flying at breakneck speed thanks to the psychic feline's incredible powers. Each pokemon had an angry expression on their face, furious over what they just found out. Yet it was nothing compared to what the psychic feline was feeling, who was absolutely livid. I will not allow my first true friend to perish! Those damn fools will soon feel my wrath! Streaks of purple energy where left behind in the air that slowly faded away as Mewtwo and the large group of pokemon sped towards the Indigo Plateau stadium.

As the fighting continued back in the stadium, the ones who were fighting back were taking heavy losses. Even with the combined help of the elites and champions, it was doing little to combat the numerous mutated pokemon. And if that wasn't enough, the Rocket grunts themselves had joined in on the fight, attacking everyone themselves, whether with their own hands or with melee weapons such as short swords or batons. They didn't use any firearms for they didn't have any with them because of their low ranking in the organization. But even without that, they were causing enough chaos as it was.

That didn't mean that the people in the stadium were just taking their abuse lying down. Among the ones fighting back were Tobias and Drax. The self proclaimed dragon master had released all of his pokemon and was having them fight back with such ferocity that some of the people near him feared him slightly as well. His dragons fought mercilessly with everything they had, making sure that their trainer was safe and sound as he made his way through the stadium. Drax fought against the grunts himself when the need arose but only did so if he had too, fighting back with quick yet purpose filled strikes meant to incapacitate his opponents. Several times he even ended up using their own weapons against them. For he was doing his best to reach the one who was promised to him and even though she rejected him, he would never allow harm to come to her. Pushing through his enemies as well as the pain from being hurt, Drax made his way around the stadium as he searched for the purple haired girl.

Tobias had his team of legendaries all out and protecting the people in the stands. Well, almost all of them. He wanted to bring out the titan pokemon as well, but stopped at the last second. He hadn't faced him yet to find out why he went berserk and didn't know if he could control him when in such an emergency. In the end, he decided against it, unable to go through with it. Instead, he focused on protecting those around him and to make sure his pokemon were alright. Legendaries or not, they still were outnumbered greatly. Tobias kept watch all around them, barking orders left and right to his legends to bring attention to what was needed to be done.

They weren't the only ones fighting back though. Jack Thompson and David Blake, two of the trainers who were defeated by the raven haired guardian in the tournament's earlier rounds were also fighting back as much as they could in one part of the stadium. Along with them, Jimmy and Marina were in another area also involved directly in combat against the invading Rockets. They, and several other trainers, were doing all they could to survive. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like what they were doing was effective since their opponents just wouldn't stop. Even when they finally took one out, several more took their place.

Ash's group of family, friends and loved ones were doing their best to fight back. His girlfriends were grouped together, shielding Sabrina and Anabel within them since they were unable to do anything on their own while protecting one another and whoever else was near. When the fighting first happened, they felt scared yet pushed on, not allowing fear to control them. But they were having a hard time, unable to do much other than survive. They were lucky to knock out a few of the mutated pokemon. However, it took the combined might of many of their pokemon working together to do so. Even when they engaged the Rockets who drew near them, they were barely able to defend themselves using the techniques they were taught recently because of the horrible area they currently were trapped in and that there were so many of them. Though they did get hurt, they were luckily superficial wounds and kept going. It also helped that with their newly established aura bonds with their beloved that increased their physical abilities slightly was enough to keep them on their feet, barring the two psychics. Even with sustaining cuts, scratches and bruises, they were able to shrug off most of it and continued fighting back to protect themselves and each other.

While they fought on one side, the others from the group defended the opposite area with the ones who didn't have any pokemon on them being shielded in the middle. Many of them sustained injuries as well while they did so but thankfully, no one was gravely hurt at the moment. Several amongst the group, though unable to battle directly, were able to help by keeping alert of their surroundings and calling out warnings and such.

One of them, the mother of the raven haired guardian, was beyond worried. She was doing her absolute best to stay in control and not become hysterical so she can keep on helping everyone else. Not only that, but she was also periodically checking on her son, making sure he was alright too. At first, she didn't notice anything wrong, seeing his aura emerge in the beginning. But as time went by, she started having an uneasy feeling fill her. After checking on him a couple more times, she realized that something is wrong. For one thing, her son was kneeling in the middle of the stadium with his aura flickering. Not only that, but he hadn't summoned a single pokemon to him. What the hell?! Her eyes widening with her heart beating loudly in her ears, she stood up from her crouching position and screamed out towards her son when his aura regressed back into him some. "ASH! WHAT'S WRONG?! ASH!"

Her shouting caused some from their group, especially the girls, to lose their focus and turned to where they last saw the raven haired guardian, feeling intense emotions fill them. What they saw made them become astonished to the point of being unable to make a sound. Ash was on one knee in the middle of the stadium, his aura almost gone. Only the blue glow in his eyes and the outline around him was still there but those too were dimming. "ASH!" screamed out many from the group, fear filling them.

Ash heard them but couldn't respond back, concentrating on bringing the Lord of Dragons. He could feel that he was seconds away from losing all of his power and that frightened him. Using the last of his willpower, he forced his aura to summon the one pokemon other than the psychic feline who has the capability to balance the scales. A blue glow appeared in his hand, dim at first until it brightened and expanded. After a few more seconds, the glowing disappeared to reveal a white ball with a red line around its diameter. Wasting no time, Ash used whatever strength he had remaining to stand up and tossed out the premier ball high up into the air. As his aura completely disappeared, he screamed out to the ball traveling still upwards, startling the ones beside him; "RAYQUAZA! UNLEASH YOUR POWER TO DEFEND AND PROTECT WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT!" The moment he finished his words, he dropped to the ground with no more energy but still conscious, yet still causing Cynthia and his other girlfriends to let out yelps of shock and fear.

As the premier ball shook and burst open, a blinding white light flashed throughout the area and a monstrous roar was heard by all in and around the stadium. The roar made many, including the Rockets and their mutated pokemon, become still from the ear splitting sound. Hovering in the air above the stadium, the mythical beast's appearance caused all to stop what they were doing for a split second but that was all that that the Sky High pokemon needed. His eyes glowing blue at once, he used his incredible powers to summon a whirlwind of retribution. Using his complete mastery over the air, the air currents began to spin around the stadium with great speed and only continued to increase in velocity until a massive tornado had surrounded the stadium, causing many in the stadium to scream out in fear and shock over it.

Using the tornado, Rayquaza's eyes glowed an ever brighter blue, causing the twister to become coated in his draconic energy and what happened next, nobody could expect. The Rockets and their mutated pokemon that were out in the open and inside the stadium were suddenly pulled away from their spots and sucked into the vortex. Spinning them around for a little bit, the harsh winds cut into them, causing them intense pain before shooting them out of the twister away from the stadium. Some attempted to fight back against the pull of the dragon's whirlwind but were unsuccessful. Even their launched attacks towards the legendary just collided against the shield of pressurized air around him. Before long, all of the villains who were out in the open were sucked away from the force of the twister and thrown out away from the stadium. Letting out a roar again, Rayquaza then flew into the twister and beginning circling around the stadium within the twister, causing the tornado to spin even faster and the draconic energy coating became brighter, hiding the green dragon within it. Yet, the stadium that was contained within it was calm and tranquil, like within the eye of a hurricane.

After witnessing that, it took a little bit of time for most people to come out of their shock and finally showed signs of life. Some let out sighs of relief while most checked on their family and friends. Within the guardian's group, the parents moved to check on their children, making sure they were alright while the others checked on each other, making sure no one had sustained any major injuries without getting some sort of aid. To their relief, no one was hurt except for some minor bruises and cuts caused by some fighting against the grunts and some random items being thrown around.

Unknown to them all, there were three Rockets still left in the stadium since they had used the trainer tunnels of the stadium to evade the legendary dragon's powers. One of the three, while using the darkness of the tunnel to hide while observing what was occurring in the stadium, was filling up with anger and shock over what she just witnessed. Damn it! How did we completely forget about Rayquaza?! We should've made a plan regarding him too. Fuck! Taking in a breath to calm herself, the deadly blonde raised her right hand and pressed against her earpiece. "Oakley, Annie, you still there right?" she asked, speaking quietly.

Some static before both females answered at once. "Yes."

"Good. Keep doing what you're doing."

"Okay. But, what's the plan now?" asked Oakley.

"I'm working on it. Just keep draining the guardian," replied Domino.

"Gotcha. But what if they find us?" asked Annie.

"I'll take care of it. Just focus on your job," snapped Domino and the two sisters confirmed the plan. Pressing the ear piece twice, she spoke again. "Hunter J, state your position."

Outside of the tornado that was protecting the Indigo Plateau stadium, a group of Rockets, a woman and three trainers stood in awe as they stared at. The woman, equipped with high tech gadgets on her, heard a little bit of static in her ear before a new voice spoke, asking where she was. She answered. "In front of the sealed doors of the stadium that you said would be opened. Oh, and a new phenomenon that I didn't expect to see at all."

"Focus! Did you complete your assignment?"

"Yes, yes. They're here now and we're all staring at a twister where the stadium should be. What happened?" she asked, slightly annoyed with the tone of voice answered to her.

"Rayquaza happened."

"Oh. Interesting." Hunter J tilted her head as she kept her gaze on the twister in front of her. "I wonder if anyone would want to purchase the legendary if I was to capture him?" mused the hunter.

"Not the time!" came Domino's voice in a quiet growl. "Listen, the legendary threw out everyone from the aerial assault. Do you see any of them nearby?"

Hunter J looked around her and saw that many Rockets and their mutated pokemon were emerging from the nearby forests surrounding the stadium and gathering near her. They were sporting some bruises and cuts but otherwise fine for the most part. Looking upwards towards the sky, she saw many Rockets flying back towards them in addition. "Well, the ones who are still alive are regrouping near me." She was then asked how many by Domino as more and more kept coming. "Hmm, they're still coming out of the trees and flying back to us. But looks like almost all are back."

"Good." A moment's silence. "Start attacking the twister with whatever means you have."

Hunter J raised her brow in surprise. "Attack the twister? Do you even know what you're saying?"

"I do," answered Domino with frustration. "The dragon is flying within it. Keep attacking with long range attacks with everyone and everything. Sooner or later, you'll hit that damn thing. Take him out and he should be losing energy just by maintaining the twister. Get started already and don't mess this up. This is our last chance. Once you start, I'll try to buy some time. Over and out."

Hunter J heard a little bit more static and then nothing. Tilting her head once more, Hunter J then smirked. Well, this just became a little bit more interesting. She turned to face the large group of Rockets gathered before facing the three she helped liberate from the nearby jail. "Listen up everyone, we're about to have some fun. Get all of your pokemon and when I say so, attack the twister with everything you got!" Seeing them complying with her orders, she turned back to face the phenomenon. Releasing her pokemon as well, Hunter J readied her team while also keeping aware of her surroundings. Especially the three trainers, as she had a feeling to be wary of them.

The three trainers from the prison who were Shamus, Paul and Damian had brought out their pokemon and waiting for their orders to attack. Glancing at one another, the three silently agreed to continue with the plan for several reasons. For one, the wanted to be free and not spend even a day in jail. The second, was that they wanted to get revenge against their most hated person in the world for what he had done to them. The third and most important reason was that they knew that if they tried to run with no actual plan, then they would be captured or worse, killed for that action. And so, the three waited for Hunter J's signal so they could start attacking with the Rockets.

Back in the stadium, after the group of family and friends finished checking on each other and confirming that they were alright, they shifted their attention onto the raven haired guardian who was still on the ground in the middle of the field. "Ash!" called out his girlfriends and mother at the same time. Several of them were about to jump down into the field so they can go to him but then stopped suddenly as multiple explosions were heard along with flashes of differently colored lights were seen within the whirling cyclone.

"Are they attacking the twister?!" asked Alder in shock.

"They're trying to break through and continue their assault," remarked Steven.

"Ash, can they push through?" asked a worried Cynthia, helping him up to a kneeling position as she spoke.

Ash panted a little as he answered. "It…may be…possible…" His answer shocked those near him and they wanted more answers.

But before anyone could comment, someone was heard throughout the speaker system. "Well, I hate to say it, but I'm impressed." The voice was that of a woman but had such a tone carried that it made many shiver in their spots.

"Who's there?!" called out Lance as he looked around, standing straight in the middle of the field, as Diantha did the same beside him. Both champions' elites gathered near them to support the two along with their pokemon.

Laughter was heard from the speakers before the female answered. "Wouldn't you like to know? You know, Lance, I'm surprised you're still barking orders. Didn't you just lose?"

Lance however shrugged off that comment and spoke back. "That doesn't matter. Now show yourself!"

More laughter was heard, causing everyone to look around the stadium since they all felt fear and anxiety. "I don't answer to you. However, I will speak to someone else. The one who has thwarted us at every turn and continues to be a thorn on our side…Aura Guardian Ash Ketchum, speak up!"

Everyone in the stadium turned their gaze back to the raven haired guardian, who was still being supported by the blonde champion. Ash locked eyes with Lance and nodded at him who nodded back. "I'm here. Why is Team Rocket here? W-What are you a-after?" he asked as loudly and as confidently as he could while moving his eyes all over the stadium. He was scanning the crowd in a vain attempt to find who was speaking, still feeling weak and unable to recover much energy.

Domino, from her hidden position, had a smug smile appear on her face as she answered him, her voice blaring out through the speakers. "I'll answer you. I am Domino, a Team Rocket Executive. And we are here to state our claim on the world and for you!" That answer surprised everyone and Ash narrowed his eyes as he continued his search. "We want you but not in the way you're thinking," she started before further clarifying. "We want to wipe you off the face of this planet!" she said with a laugh, making everyone gasp at her revelation, with multiple people filling up with fear and worry, glancing at young man.

Ash grit his teeth at that. "Is that so? Kind of hard to do that with no more forces," he remarked, not allowing fear to show in his voice, though his heart was beating a little faster after finding out that they were specifically targeting him.

"True. But we don't give up." As if to bring truth to her words, more explosions were heard along with several flashes of light shown around the twister. "It's only a matter of time until we push through. And then, we will take what we came here for!"

"We won't let you!" snapped Ash, with the elites and champions chorusing the same.

More mad laughter was heard as more explosions were heard against the cyclone, causing many to flinch. "Fools! Did you think we won't have plans against you after seeing all you can do? After studying the first time we attacked the stadium? Did you think that we didn't notice during our recent skirmish that your strongest pokemon are out of commission?" Her words made the guardian, the elites and the champions shake as anger, fear and frustration spiraled within them all.

Ash however, quickly countered back. "That doesn't matter! We will never give up either! And there are still many trainers here with battle ready pokemon!"

Domino growled slightly before responding back. "Even so, they are nothing. Even the strongest trainers in the world are helpless against our might! Everyone saw how much they struggled against our enhanced pokemon! You can't even summon your pokemon with your aura thanks to us!"

Ash's eyes narrowed while everyone else's widened over that harsh truth. "So it's because of you then as to why I'm having trouble with my aura."

The blonde smiled smugly while still in her hidden position. "Ding ding ding! We have a winner. We were able to figure out a way to weaken aura guardians after taking out another of your kind a long time ago. We used that to weaken you and are moments away from completely destroying you and everyone else," she told him before snickering evilly. More explosions, sounding even louder were then heard. "Ah, we're making progress. Soon, we will overcome the dragon. And with you, the champions and the elites crippled, what can the average trainer hope to do against us?" mocked Domino, her voice full of sadistic glee.

Her words made Ash's mind go into overdrive, imagining all the horrible things they would do if given the chance. Looking at his group of family and friends, his heart beat increased. Shifting his gaze towards his girlfriends gathered together, he saw their fear filled faces staring right back at him. No! I will not let them! I have to protect them! I have to, no matter the cost! Though he was still being drained of energy as quickly as he could summon it, Ash tried to force out more aura than he could handle at once. His eyes began to glow a dim blue, which was noticed by everyone.

Unseen from her spot, Domino raised her brow in surprise before letting out a quiet growl. "Well, well, well. I'm impressed," she said, seeing him panting heavily, trying to bring out his aura. "I could've sworn we're draining you quicker than you can manifest your aura. You must be stronger than we thought. But how much strain are you putting on yourself just to keep standing, I wonder?" she remarked without care, making many become worried over that. Even louder explosions were heard, and then something happened that made everyone shout in shock, causing Ash to lose his aura once more since he was startled. An anguish filled roar of pain let out by the legendary, with the speed of the cyclone visibly slowing.

"No, Rayquaza!" shouted Ash with concern.

"Everyone, get ready to fight!" shouted Lance, taking command of the situation. The powerful trainers in the field readied themselves and some in the stands also listened to him, preparing as well.

"Hahahahaha!" came Domino's mad laughter, echoing in the stadium that caused many to shiver from it as the elites and champions regrouped. She had received some information through her ear piece. "Too late! No matter what you do, it won't matter! You've prolonged the inevitable for long enough! Now prepare for the end of your miserable lives!" Right when she finished speaking, an incredibly loud explosion was heard above them with an equally loud but shrill roar following afterwards came.

The green mythical beast was shot out from within the tornado and hurtled downwards towards the stands in the stadium. Some people and pokemon there frantically scurried away as the enormous dragon collided against the stands, barely getting out of its way. Crumbling from the strength of the impact and the sheer weight of the large legendary, the stands collapsed, with dust rising up into the air before it cleared. Seeing the powerful pokemon sprawled over the ruined stands in a broken heap, out for the count, left many in shocked states. "No…it can't be…" Disbelief filled him and many others as they took in the sight of the downed legendary. "Rayquaza!" screamed out Ash with fright, seeing the battered and unconscious form of his pokemon.

With the Lord of the Skies out of commission, the tornado slowly dissipated, revealing Team Rocket once again surrounding the stadium as they hovered up in the skies. But now, there seemed to be even more of them and sudden loud thuds sounded out in the stadium as the metal doors were being rammed. Team Rocket had forces on the ground now as well. The champions signaled their elites to take up positions around the field and prepare for battle once more.

At that moment, a blonde woman calmly walked into the stadium through one of the trainer's entrances, wearing the white version of the Rocket's uniform. A sadistic expression was on her face, her eyes filled with malicious intent. Ash, the champions and their elites moved their gazes onto her as she entered. "I told you," said the woman, her voice signifying her as Domino. "You are out of time. Our full forces are here. You have no aura to use. All of you…guardian, champions, elites…your strongest pokemon are unable to battle. We even took out one of the most powerful legendaries in the world without too much trouble." An ugly smirk spread on her face as she noticed their frustrated, angry and fear filled expressions. Domino then locked her eyes onto the aura guardian's as she took another step forward drawing out a poke ball with her left hand. "And now, nothing will stand in our way and you will die by my hands!" She tossed the poke ball forward and it opened with a flash of light. A larger than normal three headed dragon pokemon with darkened red spots let out a vicious roar as it appeared.

The moment it appeared, several things happened at once and yet it was as if everything happened in slow motion. The Rockets in the sky ordered their pokemon to begin their assault once more. Domino's Hydreigon advanced directly towards Ash. The champions' other pokemon moved to intercept it as the raven haired guardian pushed the blonde champion away from him so she wouldn't get attacked as well. Cynthia shouted in fear as did many in the stadium, especially the girls from within the group. Pikachu sprung forward, engulfed with the little electricity he had absorbed through the air towards the dragon but the dragon plowed right through him, knocking the yellow mouse away. The three headed dragon had its mouths open, ready to sink its sharp teeth into the weakened guardian. Ash couldn't even attempt to defend himself. All he was able to do was wait to be bitten into before being torn to shreds.

It was when the dragon's many fangs were just inches away from the guardian when a glowing purple sphere slammed into the mutated pseudo legendary, crushing the dragon into the ground, making a crater in its wake. A shockwave erupted from the collision, pushing everyone, both on land and in the air, backwards some distance. When everyone there was able to compose themselves, they saw the purple glowing sphere on top of the dragon pulsing as waves of energy erupted from it. It dimmed until it faded away to reveal a bipedal purple feline holding the dragon down, purple outline around the dragon. A glowing third eye was visible on the middle of his forehead as well as a ferocious expression on its face directed towards the dragon beneath its feet, who kept biting the air towards the feline.

Mewtwo had arrived.

Seeing the psychic legendary there made many react in different ways, from sighs and shouts of relief let out by many in the stadium to worry and concern filled words let out by the Rockets. The psychic type, even with experiencing a terrible headache at the moment but ignoring as much as he could, kept his glare on the dragon in front of him with his eyes glowing blue. "You dare…" started Mewtwo, shaking with pure fury as he spoke telepathically. His furious tone made even the female Rocket executive take a step backwards with everyone flinching at his tone. "You dare…attack MY FRIEND?!" He let out a roar of rage and slashed at his enemy repeatedly with Psycho Cuts in point blank range that tore into his body, causing blood to spray out from each hit. The dragon let out painful sounds caused by the relentless attack, felt in its entirety due to the feline using Miracle Eye.

"Attack, damn it!" shouted Domino after snapping out of her stunned state towards her allies.

The Rockets and the mutated pokemon, momentarily frozen by the arrival of the legendary, reacted from her words and moved to attack. But then several streaks of white light tore through their aerial battalion, scattering them, causing confusion and halting their advance. Multiple roars were heard and everyone looked towards the direction it came from above. Dozens of pokemon, covered in purple glows were traveling through the air towards the stadium. Many landed around the stadium, on the field and in the stands while the rest stayed up in the air as their purple glows faded away. The white streaks of light moved to be amongst the aerial pokemon that arrived and the white glow faded away to reveal flying pokemon. When the glows faded away, everyone saw what pokemon they were.

Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pidgeot, Ninetales, Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Golduck, Primeape, Arcanine, Alakazam, Machamp, Rapidash, Gengar, Steelix, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Muk, Blissey, Kingler, Scizor, Electivire, Magmortar, Gyarados, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, Sylveon, Lapras, Kabutops, all of his Tauros, Snorlax, Dragonite, Meganium, Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Noctowl, Ampharos, Yanmega, Gliscor, Heracross, Weavile, Skarmory, Houndoom, Donphan, Tyranitar, Sceptile, Blaziken, Swampert, Swellow, Gallade, Breloom, Ninjask, Floatzel, Torkoal, Sableye, Aggron, Manectric, Flygon, Crawdaunt, Absol, Glalie, Froslass, Altaria, Salamence, Metagross, Torterra, Infernape, Empoleon, Staraptor, Luxray, Lopunny, Garchomp, Toxicroak, Serperior, Emboar, Samurott, Unfezant, Zebstrika, Liepard, Leavanny, Gigalith, Excadrill, Seismitoad, Scoliopede, Lilligant, Krookodile, Scrafty, Zoroark, Reuniclus, Swanna, Eelektross, Chandelure, Haxorus, Mienshao, Golurk, Braviary, Hydreigon, Volcarona, Chesnaught, Delphox, Greninja, Talonflame, Pyroar, Florges, Gogoat, Pangoro, Meowstic, Dragalge, Heliolisk, Goodra, Tyrantrum, Aurorus, Hawlucha and Noivern along with the legendaries Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Entei, Suicune, Raikou, Lugia, Ho-Oh and Victini were the pokemon and they looked ready to unleash hell.

As the enormous group of battle ready pokemon took up positions in and around the stadium, partnering up with the elites, champions and the guardian's group with a group gathering around the weakened aura guardian to shield him, everyone there realized what had happened.

Reinforcements in the form of Ash's army of pokemon had also arrived.

Having seen Ash's army of pokemon before via the news report during the quarter finals, everyone there at the stadium knew how many he had captured but it didn't do them justice. For each and every one of his pokemon, from the regular common ones to the unique and legendary pokemon that arrived, was radiating sheer power from them that not even Tobias' legendaries could match. Their eyes were even glowing blue due to their aura bonds with the guardian and the rage that had filled them over what was transpiring. Either way, the moment they appeared, Ash, along with so many others, felt a little relieved. Now, they could fight back on even terms.

Before anyone else could do anything, Mewtwo struck the dragon once more with a final Psycho Cut, which tore straight through its chest and struck its heart. The mutated dragon could only silently scream with its three pairs of eyes bulged out because of it before it went still, with many deep bleeding cuts all over his body. A moment later and the dragon disintegrated into dust. With no more victim to look at, Mewtwo looked up towards the female rocket, and glared at her with his eyes glowing blue, making her take another step back.

But at that moment, a large blue and red dragon swooped in and grabbed Domino before flying back up as the blonde executive snapped out of it and tossed out several poke balls in front of her. Five more mutated Hydreigons appeared in front of her, hovering between her and the feline. "It won't be that easy, you piece of shit!" shouted Domino with anger, holding onto her savior so she wouldn't fall off, the other dragon's rider adjusting her high tech goggles. "Everyone attack with everything you have right now!" ordered Domino, and the Rockets released all of their pokemon immediately after. Countless flashes of white light appeared all over the place and mutated pokemon were everywhere.

Mewtwo snarled in response. "No matter what you do, I will end your existence!" Summoning his incredible powers while ignoring his headache, psychic energy began pouring out from the legendary that caused purple glowing flames to from around him, similar to Ash's aura. "Lucario! You handle the ground! I'll take care of the air!" commanded the feline, the canine agreeing with the plan. "Aerial pokemon, with me!" With that, Mewtwo shot up into the air and engaged the multiple Hydreigons. As soon as he did, Ash's flying pokemon joined in with him in attacking the Rockets and their pokemon who were up in the air.

Fighting resumed and the people in the stands scrambled to get away, shouting and screaming in fear as the two large groups of pokemon battled viciously with no hesitation. Ash's group of family and friends did the best they could as they too fought back and so did some others in the crowd. Tobias and Drax also resumed their fighting, one protecting others while the latter kept his path to find the purple haired girl from his village. But this time, the guardian's pokemon were assisting them, bringing their fighting to an even level.

While that happened in the stands, in the field, the same thing happened. Fighting with evened odds along with the guardian's pokemon, the champions and elites also kept fighting, commanding all of their pokemon, doing their best to take down the evil organization members while protecting each other. Cynthia was able to refocus on that since now her beloved had his own pokemon with him, protecting him with all they have. His Steelix had surrounded him with his long, diamond hard body, providing a layer of defense while Lucario, Gardevoir, Lopunny and Pikachu, were right by his side, protecting him from close encounters. Another group of his pokemon were nearby, keeping within a short distance as they fought while the rest were all over the place.

Domino surveyed the battle going on, grimacing over the somewhat even battle. Though they had sheer numbers, for the moment it wasn't doing much since the guardian's pokemon was able to fight evenly against so many opponents. It didn't help either that the elites and champions of the world were still in the fight. And several trainers in the stands proved to be much stronger than they anticipated. "Damn it, this is turning into a cluster fuck," murmured the executive.

"Did you really think it would be so easy?" asked the goggled woman sitting in front of her.

"Shut up J," snapped Domino. "You know I never underestimate an opponent but this is farther than what I even guessed. Damn it."

Hunter J scoffed. "What about the psychic disrupters? Shouldn't they have weakened this Mewtwo? Don't you have other plans?"

Domino shook her head as she replied back. "No, they only prevent him from teleporting around. Though it does cause headaches to psychics if they're not properly shielded against it, this fuckin purple cat doesn't seem to be affected as much." J grunted in understanding as she commanded her Salamence around the air to avoid some attacks. "But even though we have other plans, we don't want to start them just yet. However, looks like we need more numbers. What about the ones on the ground?" she asked the hunter.

"Still trying to break through the stadium's metal doors," answered Hunter J and Domino let out a disgruntled sound. "But they should be able to bust through soon."

"They better. And those idiots we rescued from jail better help out." Raising her hand, she pressed the ear piece again. "Cassidy, Butch, status report."

Static was heard before a feminine voice answered. "We're back at the satellite and awaiting orders."

"Good. Stand by," replied back Domino before speaking again. "Proton, what's your status?"

Static before a gruff voice answered. "Almost through the doors."

"Well, hurry the fuck up! The guardian's pokemon are here and we need more numbers!"

"I know! Damn it! We're on it!" answered Proton.

Domino let out a growl as she lowered her hands. "The only thing still going in our favor is that Ketchum is still being drained of his aura. As long as Oakley and Annie aren't discovered, they'll keep him from using his powers."

Hunter J said nothing but hummed in response. "Good. Now, it's time for some fun." Glancing back at the Rocket behind her, she smirked a bit. "Or am I not allowed to?" she asked.

"Do what you want. But first, let me get off this thing." J had her pokemon fly up higher and away from most and then hovered in the air after moving a sufficient amount of space away. Domino took out another poke ball and released a mutated Fearow that hovered next to them so she can climb on top of it. "Remember J, the guardian is a priority. If you see a chance to end him, take it. So will I but first I gotta check some things at the moment. Damn cat showing up so soon changes things a bit."

Hunter J only grinned as she barely heard her speak. "Kill the guardian if given the chance. Got it. Shame, I would've loved to study him. Oh well. Orders are orders." And with that, Hunter J flew away a bit before dive bombing towards people in the stands and had her dragon fire off attacks as she did as well with her wrist mounted cannon, laughing evilly. Some of Ash's pokemon intercepted the attacks to protect the civilians and tore after her, who evaded them.

Domino watched her do so before flying towards the outside of the Stadium, looking for the remainder of her forces. She found them easily enough, seeing them breaking down the metal barriers at the entrances. They were almost through and would be after another some more barrages from their pokemon. Landing near them, she decided to help with her own pokemon to quicken the process.

As the fighting continued, many people and pokemon were getting hurt and many were exhausted, unable to continue fighting anymore. It came to the point that there were several groups of people that were huddled together all over the stadium as they couldn't do anything except cower in fear. Some others who were still fighting had ended up protecting the groups, splitting up into squads as they did their best. The squads were mixtures of elites, champions, random trainers, Tobias, Drax, Jimmy, Marina, Jack, David and even from Ash's group of family and friends.

While they did that, the guardian's pokemon were doing their absolute best in their own right, fighting against multiple opponents at once, both in the air and on the ground. Mewtwo was busy with the multiple Hydreigons who were joined by several other mutated dragons while the other legendaries battled against their own targets, letting loose their vast powers. On the ground, Lucario was protecting his Master while barking orders to his comrades, whether alerting them to sneak attacks or telling them what to do.

It was complete and utter chaos, with so much going on that many were hovering on the brink of losing it. One of which was a woman whose eyes were locked onto her son, stuck in the middle of the field, unable to do much of anything. Her heart was beating so rapidly, hearing its loud thumping in her ears, that she couldn't really hear anything else. She wanted to do something, anything at all, to help her son. Watching him down in the field, unable to protect himself, relying on his pokemon to do so, had filled her with intense fear and yet she knew she needed to get to him. Without even thinking, her body began to move without even her realizing it. Delia left her group, breaking away from them as she did so, ignoring their shouts at her, going down the stands and heading towards the railing to jump over them to get to her son, her child.

The moment she began leaving, several from the group noticed and yelled out, attempting to prevent her from doing so. Yet the mother of the guardian moved too quickly, evading their attempts to catch her and kept going. "Stop!" / "Delia!" screamed her fellow mothers but she paid them no heed.

But before she could reach the railings, a brown and white falcon landed in front of her, blocking her path and bringing her to an abrupt halt. "Pidjot!" chirped the pokemon, in a slightly angry tone over her actions. Moving her right wing onto the woman, Pidgeot pushed her down to avoid a sudden beam of dark energy and counter attacked with an Air Slash towards the offender, sending its target away. "Pid!" shot the falcon at the woman once more and then shot up into the air with intense speed, the force of it pushing the woman back a few feet.

Delia was frozen for a moment, unable to move when she felt several pairs of hands grasp her and pulled her backwards. "Are you crazy?!" shot Johanna as she held onto her friend with Grace and Caroline, hurriedly making their way back to the group.

"Don't go running off on your own!" snapped Grace in anger.

Caroline tightened her grip on her friend. "You know better than to do that!"

Delia knew that they were right but she just couldn't help it. Her son, her child, needed help. He wasn't able to bring out his aura to fight back himself and he was in a much more dangerous position than ever before. She didn't want to lose him and that fear reminded her of what she lost in the past. Her love…her husband…her Satoshi. And she had lost him without even knowing how or why. Just woke up one morning with him gone and a single note saying nothing but a few words; "I'm leaving and won't be coming back." But what was happening right now, she could do something to at least prevent her son from being taken from her…being taken from his loved ones. She would not let him be taken away, no matter what.

"STOP!" snapped Delia all of a sudden, shocking the three mothers. Using that to her advantage, she wrenched free from their hold on her. "My son needs me!" she shouted with her eyes letting out tears as the horrid thoughts of her son being killed swirled in her mind and quickly moved from them once more, ignoring their shouts and screams to come back. They attempted to go after her once more but were suddenly blocked from doing so as a few mutated pokemon and a couple of Ash's pokemon collided near them in the stands, tangled together while slashing away at one another.

Delia used this chance to shorten the distance between her and her son, the only one left in the world who she loved more than life itself. She made her way down the stands, hurrying past everyone with a determined but teary gaze. Nearing the railings, she shouted as loudly as she could. "ASH!" Her screaming caught his attention, seeing him look towards her from within his pokemon's protective stance around him. "ASH!"

Right when she reached the railings, a draconic beam of energy landed near her and exploded, the blast throwing her off her feet. Delia crashed against the stands with her back, making her let out cries of pain. Though she was dazed from it, she heard several people yell in fright, including her son whose voice was loudest amongst them all, filled with fear. Her heart beat even faster over her son's fear coated tone of voice. "Ash…" she said through gritted teeth as she shakily tried to get back up.

"Hmm, I'm impressed," said a feminine voice coming from above, making Delia look upwards and saw a woman riding on top of a bigger than normal Salamence, which was in its mega form along with darkened red spots on it, hovering a short distance above her. "But then again, you are the guardian's mother. I should've known you would be tough, having birthed that interesting specimen. I must ask, what did you do to have your son be so strong?" Delia said nothing, her body trembling with fear and anger. "Not going to say huh? Oh well." The woman shrugged as she said this, glancing at the area where the guardian was last and saw him still there, with his gaze locked in their direction. An ugly smirk formed on her face. "That's fine though. I was planning on using one of the guardian's lovers, but you'll do just as well. You'll help me with my mission. For I am Hunter J and I never miss my target!" she laughed and nudged her dragon as she pointed at the woman. "KILL HER!" she shouted and Salamence dive bombed towards Delia, its right claw glowing with dark energy.

A little while earlier, in the middle of the field, Ash was doing his best to manifest his aura but no matter how hard he tried, it was no use. He had no idea as to why he wasn't able to do so and just staying conscious was taking a toll on him. Though he kept trying to bring it out so he could actually get involved in the fight and help out, the raven haired guardian would periodically check his surroundings. His gaze would shift around, noticing the state and conditions his family, friends, his girlfriends, the elites, the champions and everyone else were in. Even moving his gaze all over his pokemon to see how they were faring . So far, though they were outnumbered, they were holding their own, thanks to Mewtwo and the rest and that barely lifted the guardian's spirits slightly.

Focusing on himself, Ash was doing all he could, a million things running through his mind as he did so. Until a certain person shouting caused him to get goose bumps and he looked towards the area where it came from and saw his mother running down the stands. His eyes widened over what she was doing but before he could say anything, an energy beam that was fired, landed and exploded near her, sending her flying into the stands. Ash witnessed his mom get attacked and hurt, making him scream from his position. He watched his mom struggle to get up before stopping and looking up. He followed her gaze and saw what she was looking at. His heart began to beat rapidly and he filled up with many different emotions that spiraled around him. He heard the woman's words, causing the feelings inside of him to intensify. And then heard two words that made his heart drop; "KILL HER!"

Everything seemed to happen in slow motion after that. Ash saw his mom unable to do anything but watch the dragon dive bomb towards her. She was far away from him and not close enough to the group at all for someone to help her. Even though Lucario saw and the aura canine also moved to intercept while calling out to his comrades for someone to intervene, it was all for naught. For everyone was too far away or unable to disengage from their opponents, locked in their vicious battles. Even Mewtwo, who heard and saw what was about to happen, was unable to break away his opponents.

Ash extended out his hand towards his parent. The one who never let him down. The one who always supported him. The one who was always there for him. The one who taught him so much. The one who raised him to be the man he is today. The one who made sure he never strayed from the right path. The one who he was thankful for and for everything that she had done for him. "MOM!" he screamed with fear, anger and sadness coating that single word that he shot out as he saw Salamence get closer to Delia, it's speed increasing to that of a blue blur. He wanted to save her, to protect her. Having lost one parent already, he couldn't lose another one. Not so soon. Not so savagely. Not before her time. Though he was so far away and barely had any energy, he felt his aura flicker inside him before gaining strength from his desire but he didn't know if he would make it in time.

Delia watched as the dragon dive bombed her. She watched as several of her son's pokemon attempted to break free and come to her aid but were unsuccessful or too far away from her. She watched as her son tried to get up to come save her but struggled. She watched as many fights happened all over her. She watched many things happen in front of her and all of it seemed to happen slowly as her mind raced, flashing images of her life within her head. When she realized that she was going to die, she wasn't afraid. Instead all she felt was regret. Regret that she wouldn't be there to help her son. Regret that she didn't achieve her own goals in life. And regret that she never found out the reason why the love of her life, Satoshi, just bailed on her and Ash without even a word as to why.

Delia could only wait for the end to come, unable to do anything else. Two people's images were seen in her mind's eye as she whispered their names. "Ash…Satoshi…" Eyes letting out tears, Delia's heart rapidly beat in defiance of the coming end. And then, she saw a blue blur appear in front of her with the frightened screams of many filled her ears. She felt the hot and sticky vital life fluid on her as her vision was covered with darkness…

A/N - ...yeah, I know some of you are pissed but it's been coming and I've always mentioned that the story will get darker. Plus, some things had to happen for the story to continue. Some good news though is that the next two chapters have already been outlined and their rough drafts have also already been written. So hopefully they'll be up soon. My goal is to finish this part of the story by the end of this year, 2020.

Also, I wanted to again remind everyone that I posted up a chapter for my own story regarding "My Hero Academia" - "The Symbol of Hope". I may change that title though since I've gotten a lot more ideas as well as plot points jotted down and I am starting to see how I want my story to go. Also, because so many have used that title before me. lol Right now, I'm working on all of my stories at the same time since I can no longer just wait to write them and getting way too many scenes popping up in my head. I'm basically hopping around and its keeping me motivated and 'fresh' in a sense because of it so I'll be continuing to do so as of now. This may cause my writing to take longer to get something up, but its helping me get it done, so yeah.

Anyways, hope everyone is doing well and please remember to review, fav and follow! I really want to hear your thoughts, questions, advice and such about the story.

Question 1 - Do the XXXXX's help in separating parts of the chapter? Should it continue or stop?

Question 2 - Which part of this chapter did you like and which did you hate?
