Ox Ford 4 years later Dan 20 years old. Dan's room August
Dan groans "Yea mom don't worry about me. Just how is Scarlet doing?" ask Dan. With some of his duplicates putting away his stuff and seeing he has his own housing on Campus away from the other students. He wanted his privacy away from others.
Emberlynn giggles "She's fine she used her Banshee cry today on Skulker she blow him into pieces". Dan chuckles seeing Skulker will never stop hunting them. When he first met the hunter that was going after his little brothers. Skulker learned a very hard lesson from the second oldest of the family. Don't mess with my younger siblings.
"Yea so tomorrow my first day Ox ford. Two maybe three years here why couldn't I go to Stanford or Harvard they have great business courses" Dan whines. Seeing he accumulated much credits in high school than in the university but wanted to go more into business. Emberlynn nods but smiles at Dan while Danny chuckles and appears next to Emberlynn.
"Because you need to spread your wings Dan. There's a whole world out there you need to see it and Amity Park will always be here. Make some friends go to a party or rave kiss a few more girls. Being a young adult have the experiences that everyone has" Danny smiles while Emberlynn nods. "Just remember to use protection" Giving his second oldest a grin making Dan rolls his eyes. Dating Candace for a year and half had it benefits but she went into more for political. "Besides Vlad knows some deans and chairman there. Plus I donated a big sum of money if they try to do something it's gone. I know some of these professors think they are know it all."
Dan groans remembering one professor that try to out do his father while Dan and him made the professor cry at a lecture in Stanford. It showed the world how smart Danny Fenton is but also how smart his children are as well.
"I will" smile Dan.
Next morning
Dan takes a seat in the front of the class. As he waits for the professor to walk in he blinks and stares at a red head with black streaks in her hair about the same age as him wearing all black. Staring at her and blinking he notices the band logo and rolls his eyes. Seeing she is a fan of his mother music he sees the logo being one of the first few his mother did.
"Morning Class open text books to page one hundred and ten".
Dan hears the professor dull voice making him sighs. 'This is going to be even more difficult than I thought' thought Dan. Listening to the professor speak Dan groans this is going to be a long semester.
2 weeks later Ox ford
Dan sighs walking to class he notice two males hitting on Lilith. Rolling his eyes he takes his seat and notices Lilith walking away. Seeing her sitting next to him he takes a small breath trying to relax himself. But the two males point at him making him rolls his eyes. As the professor walks in Dan groans hearing his dull voice.
"Giggle" Turning to Lilith who covers her mouth.
"Hehah" Dan chuckles and nods. 'Maybe class won't be so bad' thought Dan smiling at Lilith.
After thirty minutes Dan blinks and stares at the professor who asked him to answer "Negative thirty six point seven" answer Dan. Staring at Lilith he gives her a wink making her giggle.
"And this what happens when you don't pay attention WAIT" the professor blinks and looks at his hand book. "That's correct" blinking at Dan. The students turn to him while Lilith blinks in surprise he got the answer.
"Also your second problem is wrong you didn't put the parenthesis in the right location" Dan said letting out a small yawn. The professor blinks and looks at the question clearing his throat he looks at the student.
"I did and thank you but please don't interrupt me" the professor narrows his eyes. Dan throws his hands in the air making some people giggle and chuckle.
LATER Lunch
Walking around he enters the cafeteria to grab some lunch seeing some salads he picks one up. Walking he smiles grabbing a plate and points to the grilled chicken for extra protein. As Dan got the food he walks to the register. Hearing some commotion Dan turns around and rolls his eyes. Seeing the Student union pointing and making fun of some of people. Dan rolls his eyes and pays.
"HEY" everyone turns to a freshmen in college. Seeing his shirt all wet and some of the student union are laughing. "You think it's funny". The cafeteria got quiet everyone sees the college freshmen glaring a member of the student union. No one made a sound it's as all sound stopped.
"Ahh look at the freshmen trying to-" the president of the student union blinks. Hearing some music he looks around and sees a red head wearing all black. Turning to his friends they walk towards the person. Everyone walked away others moved watching the redhead listening to music and eating his grilled chicken Caesar salad.
Dan is nodding his head listening to the latest album his mother made. Seeing it will be release next month he takes another bit of the chicken "huh" Dan blinks and reaches towards his ear. Wondering where did his headphones go. Dan got up and sees four students in front of him.
"Now, now freshmen. How did you get this album when it hasn't been released?". Listening close to the music he turns to him."Downloading illegal music content that's a big crime here in these parts".
Dan hears the heavy accent. Reaching into his pocket showing the newest cell phone from Fen tech division. Dan turns the music off and looks at the four. Seeing his head phones in the person hand he quickly snatches it from his hand.
No one moved. It happen so fast one second it's in his hand the next it's not.
"Seeing you don't know me. Don't take my stuff" Dan spoke clear and direct. The other three students chuckle and laugh. The head of the student union blinks and grabs Dan shirt and than "Thump" no one moved. One second the male grabs his shirt and the next his head is slammed face first on the table and arm twisted back.
"AHHHHHH" moving his other arm out of control trying to get free. Dan turns to the other three shock but also surprise on what he did. "Do someTHING YOU IDIOTS". Dan groans wishing he didn't say anything. Grabbing him he pushes him and kicks his knee making him spin right into a large trash bin head first. Dan sways his body to the right and knees the first boy in the stomach.
Turning around he back punches the other boy in the nose making him stumble back holding his bleeding face. Dan blocks with his arm and headbutts the last one making him drop on the ground. Looking around seeing them on the floor Dan rolls his eyes and pulls the seat to finish his lunch.
DEAN Office
Dan yawns and stares at the Dean who is speaking "Seeing he caused the fight. Which someone brought me evidence showing me you were merely retrieving your items"
"That he grabbed me first putting his hands on me. I acted in self defense" reply Dan. Watching the dean nod his head seeing that is true. He can't hold the boy in front of him responsible. But seeing another student came to his office complaining about the boy spilling a drink on him. "Here I thought you Brits were all manners and all with a spot of tea. Guess some grew up without manners".
The dean huff.
"I would ask you refrain using violence on the campus and let campus security handle it" Dan raises an eye. They would side with the student union in a heart beat "Just wish for you to stay out of trouble Mr.. Fenton. The boy's family has some influence.".
Dan snorts "Yea I know. How about I buy ten thousand shares of his parents company and spread a rumor around. Lets see what happens when it goes up ten percent and drops thirty percent when I claim it to be false. Lets see how much of an influence he has than" Dan narrows his eyes on the dean making him flinch.
"I would ask you just leave it be. I will make it clear to him not to cause any problems. Your father donated a very, very big check for your first year. Saying he will donate another if you stayed for another year" the dean sounded almost desperate but Dan narrows his eyes further.
"Money. Typical but yet these assholes can push people around. Tell them next time they mess with me the hospital is where they will wake up" Dan got up and walks out of the dean room making him flinch.
"Dam American and if the prime mister wasn't enough trouble seeing he heard what happen. Stupid student union" groan the dean.
November 1st week. English literature
Dan is listening to female professor. Wondering why he has to take this class he blinks seeing Lilith entering the classroom. Hearing a rumor that one of the professor got sick and had to take a leave. The class was offered to other professors who still had seats. Watching her walk up the stairs and taking a seat a few seats above him to his right.
"Dan" everyone looks at him while he sighs.
"Not all who wander are lost" the professor nods liking that. Students blink at him while Lilith stares at him. "Sometimes a person wanders to search for something or to find their place in our world. People believe they are lost but they are not. They wander to help those who are lost" smile Dan. Thinking about Clockwork, Faith and Grim each of them spoke to him before he left.
"Beautiful" smile the professor.
When class was over Dan noticed a girl dropping a piece of paper with her number on his desk. Than another. Another. Again. Groaning seeing what happen in the cafeteria some of the student union are being watched by the deans. Many people were shock to see Dan walking into class thinking he was kicked out. No instead he took his seat and the professor looked nervous.
One of the student union saw him and flinched and slowly backed away making other students wonder. Who is this man? Grabbing all the numbers he walks towards the trash bin and dumps them. Walking out of the classroom he glances seeing Lilith staring at him. A grin forming on his face seeing her shock reaction.
That NIGHT Dan's room
"Come on Danielle. You and Brad have been dating for three to what four years and you two have known each other since what first grade?." Dan blinks staring at his older sister. Seeing she turn twenty six a month ago and Brad popped the question. "Brad yea he's a chemist but you two know each other. So what are you worried about". Dan rolls his eyes.
Danielle grow up looking like Emberlynn but many still see Danny in her as well. "It's just I'm worried. We have ups and downs but Brad has been there for me all the time and I been there for him all the time. It's just a shock that's all" muttered Danielle. Rubbing her temples wondering what to do.
"Look" Dan smiles "You two make each other happy. What more can you ask".
"You're right. Just don't tell mom, Scarlet and the terror twins. Dad knows already giving his blessing to Brad" Danielle groans while Dan nods. Moving his finger across his lips shutting it seal.
LATER THAT NIGHT.
Dan turns over and his ghost breath goes off making him groan. Getting up looking out the window he transformed and flies out. Looking around seeing it's two am he wonders who is out this late. Flying to the location of the ghost he hears something from the parking lot. As Dan flies towards the location.
"AHHH" various girls screaming.
Dan turns around and sees a ghost looking like a barber. Holding a old fashion razor blade in his hand. "What no way" blink Dan. Watching the ghost charge towards him with the razor blade in his hand. Dan rolls his eyes and blast the ghost.
"RUN" shouted Dan. Seeing the three girls mouth drop wide in shock staring at him. "What?" pointing at him making him wonder what is wrong he sees the ghost slowly getting up.
"AHHHHHHHHH" the three females all squeal making him groan. Making his mic appear he blocks the razor and begins to scream.
"OOOOOOOOOO" aiming at the sound vibrations at the ghost making him thrash in pain. Dan grabs the thermo's and sucks him up. Quickly turning invisible before the girls take his picture he creates a portal and sends the thermo's to Walker with a note on it.
Morning math class
Dan drags his feet to class. Yawning seeing he has advance physics he was up the night researching the ghost that came out. Wondering who was the Sweeny Todd that he caught late in the morning. Dan blinks and slowly closes his eyes.
"Huh what?" Dan blinks with a yawn. Seeing one of the students poking him.
"THE ANSWER MAN"
Dan turns to the professor asking him the answer. Looking at the board than back to the professor with a glare "Negative one point six, six, nine".
The professor blinks and nods "Correct". Seeing him sleeping in class not paying attention.
Everyone wants to know who is Dan?. Seeing he just tells people his first name many people wants to know who is this freshmen from America is. Many students wonder and many females try to get his attention.
Dan rolling his eyes and stares at the board as he listens to the professor.
Lunch
Walking into the cafeteria grabbing some chicken, yogurt and a drink. Dan pays and heads towards a table. As he walks he hears someone calling his name turning around seeing Lilith waving at him. Dan smiles and takes a seat across from her.
"So did you understand half of our physics lecture today during your nap" giggle Lilith.
Dan groans "Most of it yes and seeing his voice can put anyone to sleep. Yes! I was enjoying my nap until he woke me up". Lilith giggles and nods seeing he was sleeping peacefully in class. "So why are you taking this course of math?".
Lilith nods "Market advertising". Dan nods but Lilith smiles "What about you?".
Dan chuckles "Business, accounting, marketing ehh the usually". Lilith blinks and stares at Dan seeing him saying it's nothing she noticed him in many classes through out the campus. Hearing he has at least nine to twelve classes almost the double that freshmen can take.
"Wow. You some kind of genius?" blink Lilith.
Dan snorts "Most of my family are scientist. My grandparents are scientist my sister got her doctrine in biology when she turned twenty two. My dad has one too but also has some degrees in mechanical and electrical engineering taught us much. Mom is a musician plays many instruments I learn one or two instruments. She teaches but has a doctoral music degree" Dan shrugs his shoulders while Lilith blinks and nods. "You and your family?".
Lilith rolls her eyes while Dan raises an eye. "Mom is a journalist. Traveled the world to tell people their stories until I was nine she decided to stay back home. Not much she taught me there, but she wrote articles for some news papers around Europe. Dad owns and works for a corporation into real estate and development he stayed home most of the time. But I would briefly see my dad but mom for a two to three days and gone for weeks. My dad sometimes or her parents, my grandparents watched me while they worked"
Dan smiles "Siblings?" ask Dan.
Lilith shakes her head "No I think my mom didn't want to have too many children I was enough and handful. My dad really didn't care he was busy as well so my grandparents watched me most of the time. At times I wish I had a younger sibling" shrug Lilith. Smiling at Dan she hasn't spoke to anyone like this in a long time. "You?" ask Lilith.
Dan looks up smiling "Older sister she just turn twenty six in September. I'm the second oldest than a younger sister sixteen and my younger brothers twins they are seven years old" Dan nods as he takes a bite of his yogurt.
Few Weeks Later week before recess ends, finals
Dan blinks hearing something he looks around seeing the clock on the wall has stopped he checked his time on his phone. Seeing the clock stop for a full minute but than the clock started to work again as he got close to it. Walking towards the door he over hears a student talking "Come on Lilith. Everyone thinks you two are dating. So out with it are you?". Dan knows that voice it's Stephanie a roommate of Lilith.
"We are just good friends. I don't think he's into me like that and besides once he finds out I got money. It's going to change they all do" groan Lilith.
Dan sees the door about to open looking around seeing no one he turns invisible and walks towards the boys bathroom. With no one there he turns visible and sighs, splashing some cold water on his face. He has heard the rumors and seeing many females are upset that Lilith and him talk very much but also hang out after class.
'So she has money? But she thinks it's going to change once I find out'. Dan chuckles and shrugs his shoulders 'Well I guess mom and dad did something right and like dad says once in a while. It's time to splurge a bit'. Walking back to class he sees Lilith smiling as he takes a seat he smiles at her. "Was thinking you free tonight for dinner?" smile Dan.
Lilith turns red and nods "Yea. Any place in particular you want to meet up?"
"Hmm I made reservation to restaurant Comme for seven o clock tonight" smile Dan. Watching Lilith flinch he chuckles to himself "A nice causal dinner" Dan continues to speak while Lilith eyes widen to hear where he got reservation at. "Yes?" blink Dan.
Lilith nods "Yea seven o clock I'll met you there". Lilith is in panic mode wondering how Dan got reservation there when it takes weeks maybe months to get in. She shakes her head no. 'Dan. No the way the way he acts is definitely not money. Maybe someone he knows there' thought Lilith nodding her head.
Restaurant Comme 7 o clock
Lilith is in a limousine seeing her parents keep one ready for her at all times. She gets out and sees the person holding the door of her limousine. As she smiles she hears a car behind her as she turns around she blinks at a very expensive American muscle car.
"Geez a Hell Tiger this guy has money to burn"
"Yea who spends over one hundred to two thousand on a car like that. Or a small steak dinner costing over two hundred dollars".
The valet captain points to the other to open his door.
Lilith blinks seeing the Valet walking towards the car. 'Noo it can't be' blink Lilith. Seeing Dan walking out of the car wearing black dress pants with shoes white button shirt with a black fitted blazer with gold cuff links. 'It is'. Seeing how hot he is but also the clothes brand that her grandparents like.
"Lilith" Dan smiles and walks towards her "You look wow, fantastic" holding out his hands, Lilith gently takes it and feels weak. As the two walk inside many people are whispering and pointing at Dan. Rolling his eyes he was here before with his grandfather Vlad a week before school started. Seeing he knows the owner very well telling him to come by anytime.
Wit the two walking in the concierge blinks at the two "Name".
"Under Dan" sending a message to the owner while the concierge raises an eye looking for the name. Shaking his head Dan chuckles and soon everyone heard a man shouting his name. Lilith blinks wondering who Dan sent a message. But seeing the concierge shaking his name.
"DAAANNN" everyone blinks at a large chef smiling while the concierge flinches to see the owner. "My boy how are you doing". Everyone who works there has their jaws dropped to see the owner coming out greeting someone. He rarely does it unless it's famous people he knows very well. Many people behind them whisper knowing who the owner. Lilith blinks and hears the people talking wondering how the American knows the owner.
'That's a good question how does he know the owner?' thought Lilith.
"Good, good. I hope you got my message this morning asking if it was ok for me to come with a date this short notice. I know my grandfather likes to give a day's notice but with finals and all. I wanted to celebrate monsieur Peter" Dan smiles. With the end of finals wanting to relax a bit.
"HEahahah never a problem my boy. Of course it will be no problem I already made a special menu for tonight. DAVID" Peter calls a waiter and smiles at Lilith making her blink seeing the waiter stand straight. "Take them the top table of the house."
The concierge flinches and looks at the owner with wide eyes but also wonders who is the young man. Taking a deep breath "Sir. We have an important guest coming tonight. Do you think it's wise-" Dan interrupts.
"A regular table Peter, it's fine. It's my fault for the short notice" smile Dan. Not wanting to cause a scene he gives the concierge an apologetic but the concierge rolls his eyes at Dan. This is one of the reasons he hates this type of life styles so much. Lilith blinks at Dan shock he would turn down the best table in the restaurant and apologizes for the short notice. If her grandparents were here they would ask for that table and not apologize. But seeing the concierge glaring at Dan she flinches seeing Peter narrowing his eyes on him.
Peter turns to "David top table" giving a order. Peter turns to the guests and smiles. David escorting them up, Peter glares at the concierge making him flinch pointing to a young lady he whispers into her ear making her flinch.
"That is Vlad Master grandson" her jaw dropped while Peter places his finger on her mouth. Turning to the concierge who flinches hearing whose grandson it is. A person who is very powerful indeed. One or two people blink in shock seeing who enter the restaurant.
"You bus the tables. Chloe at the desk no one not one word leaves here tonight. Or you will be busing the tables" the concierge flinches and drops his head seeing he is back to busing tables when he first started ten years ago. Other flinches and nods.
"Thank you" smile Dan. Taking a seat seeing the view of the city he smiles looking at the stars.
"So how do you know the owner?" blinks Lilith.
Dan blinks and looks at Lilith with a smile. "A week before class started my grandpa and I dropped by. He's an old friend of Peter and a customer of his for years. He gave me his number and said anytime" Dan shrugs his shoulder and sighs.
Lilith seeing this blinks "Just surprise you don't seem the type of guy to use strings or pulls on people. You are very direct and straight forward one of the reasons why I was drawn to you." Lilith blinks seeing what she said. Reaching for the champagne taking a sip. "So grandparents are scientist and your dad is one too. I never ask what kind of work they do" ask Lilith.
Dan chuckles "They work for ValdFenton inc." Dan sees Lilith eyes widen nodding his head seeing she knows the company 'Yea and they are owners and I'm their second oldest surprise' thought Dan. Keeping that piece of information to himself.
"Really wow that explains allot about the car, suit and knowing the owner" Lilith wonders if they are scientist that means they make very good money. Seeing Dan roll his eyes she raises an eye. "I get a feeling you don't care much for it" giggle Lilith.
Dan nods "Yea. My dad always taught us growing up get what you need don't over do it splurge a bit for the family. Don't show off don't be like those kind of people. I guess working with the owners and creators he sort of took that image" Dan shrugs his shoulders. Thinking about his parents who always reached out to help others and teaching them lessons.
Lilith groans "I know exactly what you are saying. My mom fights with her parents all the time buy this buy that don't go for the cheap one. Love my grandparents but thank god I didn't pick up their rich habits" rolling her eyes.
Dan chuckles "Mom always told me. Some people just need the feel to show how better they are. But in truth they are the ones hurting the most".
"Your mom is very smart I guess she listens to Emberlynn. One of her songs has that line" giggle Lilith. Dan chuckles and nods if only she knew she would be surprise who his mother is. "Yea sorry major fan of her since I was kid my parents are into the Goth life style. I never got into it I sort of fall for the rocker girl".
"Goth" Dan raised an eye but shrugs his shoulders. Seeing Lilith nod Dan is surprise to hear her parents are goth seeing the trend almost twenty maybe thirty years ago was huge but now with his mother music. More and more rockers are coming out. They call his mother the rock of reincarnation seeing she has put them back on the top for many years for a whole generation or two to rock.
Even worked with a huge heavy metal group to make a mix album. Which became a huge hit to many heavy metals. Paving a way for more female heavy metals to come out and make a name for themselves.
"Yea. My grandparents never liked that. They didn't seem bothered too much with me liking rock music but although they did try to skip my Emberlynn music all the time. I don't know why but it seemed a touchy subject" Lilith nods. Reaching for the bread stick and dipping in oil.
Dan blinks "Lets see a young woman rocking on stage singing and dancing. Creating a whole new generation or two of worshipers. Yea sounds right" Dan chuckles and nods knowing the history about his mother before she became a halfa. 'Mom really did it' Dan laughs and nods.
January few weeks later
Dan is pulling in to the housing he is staying on campus. As he parks the car he sighs seeing class start tomorrow. Seeing the flight was quick through the ghost zone to get back to his parents. Things are turning around and seeing how Danielle and Brad made a date in two years. Waiting for Scarlet to finish high school and be part of the brides maid.
When the media heard the heiress of VladFen inc got engaged. It sent shock waves through the whole world.
"Wonder if Lilith is back. She said she was spending time with her mom and dad at Paris for the holiday?" blink Dan. Walking into his room he unpacks and stares at the clock seeing it's four. Getting a message from Lilith. The two begins to text each other until the morning.
7 months later ox bridge August
Dan groans angry that the professor gave him a C plus on his theory on Quantum mechanics with ectoplasm fuel cell. He walks into the Dean room with a glare seeing he wanted to speak to him. Having a good idea on what's this about he knows the professor he has is a pain and is known to fail almost every student.
"Ahh Dan excellent timing. I recently got your grades and one of your professor express his concern about the paper you submitted." Dan rolls his eyes and drops the paper on his desk seeing the C plus on it. "He wants you expelled believing you have copied this work from VladFenton inc."
Dan smiles moving his face close to the dean giving him a narrow look Dan spoke coldly. "Please do. Go ahead and when the media hears what happen Ox Ford did they will be a laughing stock. The only job that professor will have is pre-k" Dan narrows his eyes on the dean. As the Dean clears his throat why couldn't this professor just give him the A plus. But no he has tenured thinking he is untouchable and he thinks he is right. But worse now the schools reputation is the line.
"I will correct the issue I assure you" smile the dean. Dan sighs and walks out of the office. As the dean breaths in relief he groans seeing he has to tell the board what the professor did. Knowing the backlash he whines. "Why doesn't he just reveal who he is" groaning out loud.
One week Later
Everyone is waiting for the professor to walk in. As Dan takes his seat he blinks seeing the dean walking in smiling. The professor is walking behind him with a face of pure shock and terror. When the professor came into view of Dan he flinches seeing he made a terrible mistake.
"Everyone it seems. Someone stole the professor grade book. So the last assignment everyone gets an A plus. Who ever stole the grade book it's useless now. The grades are reset take advantage of it with the A plus" the dean smiles and gives Dan a nod. Turning around he gives the professor a harden glare making him flinch. Students blink while others are happy.
Dan rolls his eyes 'Wow what kind of excuse is that. But seeing his shock reaction he knows he is in trouble. If this ever comes to light his career is over in a heartbeat. But I heard other students got low grade talking about Ectoplasm technology as well' Dan rolls his eyes. Seeing what his father meant last year about some professors.
Lunch LATER
Lilith is giggling while Dan nods. It's been almost a year since they been dating. Seeing Lilith has three more years, Dan decided to stay another two year to be with Lilith as she finishes. Enjoying the time when he's with her. Only Danielle and Scarlet know he is dating someone.
"So plans for the weekend?" ask Lilith. Dan rolls his eyes and shows her a paper that is due next Thursday. Blinking and wincing while he nods "Well never mind. Oh my grandparents are visiting my mom this weekend. Yea they are flying from the states" smile Lilith.
Dan raises an eye "Which state?" she rarely talks about her grandparents or parents. She notice that Lilith is a loner a person who had trouble making friends. The same as him and they love rock music. They have allot in common.
"Don't remember somewhere in middle western. A small town" Lilith shrugs. "Never been there and Dad has issues when he goes there to the states. Mom is from the states she moved in with dad like around college. They went to Ox ford too" Lilith smiles.
Dan smiles "That's cool. So from what I gathered I will be finished in two and half years. Going for the extra two maybe three classes and than taking a internship here for the next six months at one of the VladFenton inc buildings here. Dad pulled some strings".
Lilith claps her hands excited. Dan smiles staring at her 'I never felt like this before. She is different' smile Dan.
