Disclaimers – I do not own any of these characters. Post Season 2, so spoilers, possibly very AU and OOC. Also, I haven't read any of the light novels so this is completely based on the anime only.

Important Info: I love Rimuru's human form way more than his slime form, so he's basically in his human form throughout my entire story. Also, Rimuru is technically genderless, but still seems to refer to himself as a male due to his previous life, so that's what I'm gonna do.

Chapter 1

Finally, things have calmed down, at least for now. After the horrible attacks on their town, Shuna was sure things would never be the same. Especially with Shion's death, it was hard to imagine going back to normal life without her in this world. Then, Rimuru and Eren gave her hope, along with the promise of revenge against those who wronged them. It had quite a whirlwind after that, Veldora's surprising return, establishing new peace treaties, and war against Clayman.

Shuna sat back on a bench, content to finally relax and watch as the others partied the night away. They have all returned from the battlefield, victorious, and Rimuru came back from Walpurgis with good news.

Right, Walpurgis. With Rimuru's rise the Demon Lord and Veldora's awakening, their nation now had sufficient protection from both human countries who were afraid of the Great Storm Dragon, and the other Demon Lords whose non-aggression pact now included Rimuru. However, if Clayman's actions were any indicator, the non-aggression pact would not protect them from all of the Demon Lords' backstabbing schemes.

She almost wishes she had gone to Walpurgis instead of Shion. Of course, Shion was a great fighter, but Shuna would have liked to be able to gage the other Demon Lords herself. How powerful were they in comparison to Rimuru? What did their attitudes and actions suggest about intentions? Were they all as powerful and chaotic as Milim? Maybe she was the exception and they were more similar to Clayman? Cold, calculating, manipulative. Should Shuna consider them all the enemy until proven otherwise?

She could only imagine what Walpurgis had been like. Ten Demon Lords all sitting at a table, watching one another, gaging each other's strengths and weaknesses. Who can they take advantage of? How? Being the newbie, Rimuru was sure to be a prime target for their dark plans.

She sighed. Maybe it wasn't time to relax at all. "Umm, Shuna?" She turns to find Rimuru standing in front of her. She had been so lost in thought, she hadn't even realized he took a break from the party to come check on her. "Are you alright?"

She smiled. "Yes, of course, my lord. I was just thinking." He sits next to her.

"I heard about your battle. Great job, you were awesome!"

"Ahh, thank you!"

"Oh, right, and the outfit you made for me was great too. Could you make me another?"

"Of course! What would it be for? Another meeting? Or something less formal?"

"Hmm," he turns to watch the others party and taps a figure on his chin in thought. What he described to her was basically a loose fitting white shirt and a dark blue coat that had a hood and fur around the edge, similar to the black tail coat he had worn to Walpurgis. He also wanted matching dark blue or black pants. Simple enough. It wasn't as complicated as some other outfits she had made before. "Oh and could you put a design on the coat?" He asked excitedly.

"Sure, what kind of design?"

"You chose. I'm sure I will love whatever you decide to do."

"Alright." She was already coming up with some ideas. An image of his slime form? No, that was too overdone. A nice wave pattern in light blue to match his hair? Ehh, maybe. She should get started as soon as possible, before she loses the clear image in her head. "What is it for? Does it need to be done in time for a certain event?"

Frick. Did the Demon Lords decide to hold another Walpurgis? So soon? No, Shion would have told her, right? Did something happen with one of the Demon Lords while Shion was distracted in battle or something? Calm down, she is overthinking things. If something was wrong, Rimuru would surely say something to her.

"Umm, well it's kinda a secret. But don't' worry! It's nothing serious, just wait and see, okay? I need it for exactly one week from today. Is that okay?"

"Yes, it will be no problem, my lord."

"Thanks so much! You're the best, Shuna."

"Loooord Rimuru! What are you doing over there?" Shion's voice rang from the other side of the plaza. Shuna looks up to see her purple haired friend rushing over to them. So much for relaxing in her quiet little corner. Hmm, maybe a design in gold instead of light blue would look good on his new coat? Would he want to where any jewelry? Dang, she shoulda asked before he disappeared back into the crowd.

Benimaru was busy. The war may be over, but there was no time for him to relax. As a general, there were still plenty of loss ends to handle. Organizing the troops, relocating the refugees from Eurazania, directing the prisoners that were captured from Clayman's army. Not to mention coordinating with Lord Carrion to being the process of rebuilding their capital.

It's been several days since the battle officially ended and Walpurgis concluded. The party was over and many had returned to their normal, daily lives. They repaired buildings and reopened their shops. War and battle became a distant memory in their minds.

Benimaru and Souei remained on guard. They had serval spies monitoring their boarders and they kept an ear out as the news of a new Demon Lord spread to other nations. They may be at peace now, but this would be the perfect time for any enemy attack. People let their guards down, thinking the worst it over and all is well, and other kingdoms probably assumed they were weakened from having just fought in a war. Some may foolish enough to try and take advantage of that.

That's another thing Benimaru had been working on. They may have won, but war put extreme stress on solders minds. Plus, there were injuries and fatalities to consider. And the families of the fallen.

He walks through the quiet halls when he feels an overwhelming powerful presence appear in the building. No doubt, it has to be a Demon Lord.

Benimaru jumps into actions, rushing down the hall. A direct attack? Now? How did they get so far into the city without anyone noticing? His senses lead him to the entrance of the building, a big open room with a high ceiling. A least there was some space to fit without getting civilians involved. He finds several others converging on the room- most of the ogres, several goblins, Gabiru, and Veldora.

Benimaru steps into the room, the others quickly surrounding the offender. He finds a man with red hair, Ramirus mentioned him, right? One of the three original Demon Lords, on par with Milim. Shit.

Rimuru walked through the front door, his eyes widening at the situation. He quickly moves in front of the man to prevent them from attacking. "Wow, wow. Guys, it's cool, he's my guest."

….Huh?

Rimuru turns to face the other Demon Lord and frowns. "I told you to suppress your aura. You startled them, they thought you were attacking."

"I did conceal my power, most of it anyway." The man smirks. "I needed to introduce myself."

Rimuru sighs and turns back to Benimaru and the others who have gathered on one side of the room, looking warily at their 'guest.' "Anyway, everyone, this is Guy Crimson. I'm sure you can guess, he's a Demon Lord."

"My Lord, why didn't you inform us that you would be having a meeting with a Demon Lord?" He hears Shuna ask, off to his left.

"Huh? He isn't here for a meeting. He's here for our date."

"…WHAT?!"

Flashback

"…It is because of your actions that we have two fewer Demon Lords now." Guy gripped Rimuru's chin and tilted his head upwards, leaning down until their lips nearly met. He moved to whisper in his ear. "So tell me, will you assume the responsibility of coming up with a name?"

"Uhh, fine, whatever." Rimuru gives in, tuning his head to the side to put some space between him and Guy. "I can choose, but don't get all mad at me if you don't like it."

"Right," Guy agreed and leaned back, placing a hand on the side of his face and pulling him in for a kiss.

"Mmh!" came Rimuru's muffled surprise, it was clear Guy was messing with him, but he didn't think Guy would actually kiss him on the lips!

"Ahhh, hey!" Ramirus and Milim immediately protested. Leon sighed and just looked glad that it wasn't him that Guy was trying to kiss. But Rimuru wasn't focused on the other Demon Lords because…wow, Guy Crimson was an amazing kisser.

Guy pulled away. "Mm!" This time it was Guy who made a sound of surprise as Rimuru gripped his jacket and pulled him back into the kiss. Guy tangled his hand in Rimuru's hair as the kiss deepens and their lips part, tongues meeting sloppily.

"Umm, Helloooo!" Milim demands attentions as the two make out in the middle of Walpurgis. There's an awkward silence as the rest can only watch or look away and pretend like it's not happening. Finally, the two pull away, Rimuru looks up at Guy. For that angle, only Guy can see the smirk on Rimuru's face and the mischief in his eyes.

Guy stands and steps back. Suddenly, Rimuru blushes and looks down shyly, "My, I didn't think you would be so forward. Well, when is our date?"

"Uhh, date?" Guy plays along, looking surprised as he takes his seat once again.

"Did none of you know?" Rimuru asks innocently, glancing at the others. "You see, where I come from, making a move like that is basically a request to court me."

"Huh?!" Milim's reaction is the loudest.

It's totally not true, but they don't know that, so he plays it up. "Right. You are not just going to leave me there are you? Where I come from, a man who makes a proposition like that and doesn't follow through is a coward." Guy looks torn. Rimuru can't tell if it's because he's fighting not to smile, or because he's annoyed that Rimuru just insulted him to his face. Hopefully, he knows it's part of the act. "I can't make you do anything, of course. Maybe we should put it to a vote?"

Even if Guy wasn't in on it, most of them would probably vote for Rimuru anyway, either for entertainment (Deano, Ramirus) or to see Guy get a taste of his own medicine (Leon, Milim). Out of the 6 of them, not including Guy and Rimuru, that's 4 that would take his side.

Guy smirks and says, "Alright. I will come pick you up exactly one week from now for our date."

"It's a date." Rimuru confirms, ignoring the various looks the other Demon Lords are giving him. Is that the hint of a smile he sees on Leon's face? Deano suddenly looks very awake and very interested. Carrion is just shocked.

At least none of them seem disgusted, Rimuru thinks, grateful that in this world, among monsters at least, gender doesn't seem to be a problem.

"Right, so a new name…"

End Flashback

Aaaand that's how Rimuru got himself a date with the most powerful Demon Lord. Bonus, he got to mess with the others a little bit. Maybe being a part of Octagram won't be so bad.

Guy watched as they finally being to register what the two Demon Lords are wearing. Shuna completed Rimuru's new outfit, almost exactly the way he wanted it- white shirt, black pants, and black boots that reached mid-shin. She ended up making the long coat black, but then added a flame design in dark blue. As the flame got higher on the coat, it faded from dark blue to light blue to match his hair.

Guy, on the other hand, had much more revealing clothing. He wore a simple black button up shirt (no jacket or overcoat), though it was completely unbuttoned and the selves were rolled up to his elbows. He had slightly baggy black pants that hung low on his hips and simple black boots. The only color, besides his hair, was the white gold jewelry he wore, several bracelets clinked against one other on each wrist, and a simple white gold choker around his neck.

It's nothing fancy, but at least they both put a little effort in changing their clothes for their date.

Suddenly Guy senses bloodlust coming from every single person in the room with the exceptions of Rimuru and Veldora. Interesting.

"So you knew they were going on a date?" One of them looks incredulously at Shion.

"Umm, well, he said not to say anything." Then her shoulders slumped. "Besides, I thought we could stop them or something."

His own subordinates who wouldn't dare interfere with his business because they trust his strength, but Rimuru's subordinates are quite different. It's not that they don't trust Rimuru's strength to ability to make logical decisions. It's more like Rimuru is their savior, in one way or another, and they see his as a great light shining in a dark world. They see Rimuru, his attitude and personality and morals, as something they way to protect and preserve.

"You look…nice." Rimuru says, pausing to note that Guy's shirt was completely open.

"Thank you. You look quite beautiful as well." Rimuru's eyes widen, clearly happy but all surprised at the compliment. Guy didn't need to look around to know that some of the others were reaching for their weapons. He paid them no mind. In fact…

Well, maybe he'll mess with them, just a little. He smiles and grips Rimuru's chin, slowly raising his head until their eyes met. He leans forward until their only inches apart and lowers his voice to a soft tone, "Well, shall we go? I have quite the…surprise planned for you." Rimuru blushes at their proximity.

As they prepare to leave, he steps back and surveys the room. Judging from the wide eyes and death glares, they seem to assume that he may be leading Rimuru into a trap of some sort.

"Hey wai-" Many of them called out, but Guy was already teleporting away.
