Hello all Storm here with a new chapter! Here we'll be picking up where the last chapter left off, while seeing even more changes to canon. So, without further ado.

I own nothing

"Sasuke, where are you?!" Sakura said after exiting the Academy, looking around for her new teammate.

Having hoped to ask him if they could eat lunch together, only to find that he already left the classroom, leaving the pinkette to try and catch up to him.

"Why did he go running off, like that? I thought since we're in the same team and all, we could eat together." Muttered Sakura, saddened that she couldn't see Sasuke anywhere.

"Uh…hey Sakura." Naruto said, walking up to Sakura, causing her to frown in annoyance as she turned towards him.

'Ugh, just great.' Sakura thought, annoyed that Naruto's talking to her again, having hoped he finally realized she wasn't interested in him and would leave her alone.

"What do you want Naruto? I'm busy." Said Sakura, looking away to see if she could find any sign of where the Uchiha went, with Naruto frowning at her dismissal.

"Well, I just thought since we're on the same team that…maybe we could have lunch and get to know each other better." Said Naruto, originally intending to go to Ichiraku's until he saw Sakura coming out of the Academy alone.

Guessing that Sasuke had already left before she could try asking if they could have lunch together, with the whiskered blonde figuring he could see if Sakura wanted to eat with him. Only for the pinkette to gain an annoyed scowl at the idea.

"Why would I want to eat with you? How could that thought even cross your mind, let alone think that I'd want to?" Sakura demanded, Naruto's frown deepened and feeling hurt that she honestly seemed angry at the idea of just spending time with him.

"I…just thought that because we're on the same team, we could at least…" Naruto said, only to trail off since he wasn't sure what else he could say.

"Naruto, you're annoying. Now leave me alone. Sasuke, where are you?!" Sakura said coldly before turning around and walking away to try and find where Sasuke went.

While Naruto watched her leave with a downcast expression, having known that Sakura didn't like him pestering her to spend time together. But usually just brushed it off and believed he'd get her attention by proving himself. Though now he's starting notice that she seemed to genuinely not like him or couldn't even entertain the idea of just talking to him.

'What did I even do? I've always tried being nice to her, but she just gets angry and punches me if I even try saying anything to her. Is it all really because I'm the deadlast and the pranks I pulled?' Naruto thought, wondering why Sakura seemed to hate him so much yet fawns over Sasuke who barely even looks at her or any other girl in class.

Sighing, Naruto left the Academy thinking over a way he'd be able to figure out what Sakura's problem with him is. Before his train of thought turned towards his other teammate, making the Uzumaki frown before he sighed again.

'Maybe Sasuke would want to eat together.' Thought Naruto, figuring he might as well try his luck with the Uchiha before jumping up to the rooftops to find him.

*With Team Ten*

Meanwhile, the newly formed Team Ten had gone up to a balcony to eat their lunch, with Ino having been the one to choose the spot due to it also giving them a view of Sasuke's apartment.

"Ugh! I can't believe Forehead got put on the same team as Sasuke, it's so not fair!" Ino said, annoyed that her former friend is on the same team as the boy they both like.

"Give it a rest, Ino. Seriously, you've been complaining about it the entire time. Honestly, you're acting like there was even a chance you and Sasuke would be teammates." Said Shikamaru while rolling his eyes, with Chōji nodding in agreement.

"Shikamaru's right. I mean, with our dads having been a team when they were Genin and with our clans being so close, it's obvious we were all going to be teammates, anyway." Chōji added, having expected that they'd be together to form a new Ino-Shika-Cho Trio like their fathers.

"I know! But I could hope that maybe we would've had different teams! You both could've had Sakura as your teammate, instead! Or even Naruto, since you guys are friends!" Said Ino, having also known there was a good chance they'd be teammates, but part of her hoped she'd still be on Sasuke's team.

Though she saw Shikamaru and Chōji both frown at the mention of Naruto, confusing the platinum blonde girl.

"I mean, you are friends with Naruto, aren't you? You all did used to skip the Academy when we were younger." Ino said, with the two boys nodding in response.

"Yeah, we used to, but that was a long time ago. And Naruto just got way too troublesome to keep hanging out with, always moving around, pulling pranks, and it was impossible to just lay down and relax." Said Shikamaru, not trying to sound rude or mean, but couldn't deny that Naruto wasn't the most calming person to be around.

"We also didn't really hangout that much outside of the Academy, then we just…stopped hanging out altogether. Sure, we'll see him around the village a couple times and at the Academy, saying hi when we can, but not really much else." Said Chōji, with Ino frowning at this since she always thought they were friends with the Uzumaki.

"And with how different he is from before; I get the feeling he isn't really eager to be hanging out with anyone." Shikamaru stated, feeling that it wasn't just his outward appearance that's changed, but Naruto's also changed on the inside.

"Yeah…don't get me wrong. I think the new outfits an improvement over that orange jumpsuit. But I never would've thought that Naruto would be caught dead wearing anything that didn't have at least some orange on it. And then he actually threatened to break Ami's arm, I didn't think anyone could change in such a short amount of time." Said Ino, Chōji and Shikamaru had informed her of the confrontation he had with Ami, not long after they left for lunch, finding it hard to identify the current Naruto with the one from before the Graduation Test.

"Do you think it has to do with what happened to Iruka-sensei and Mizuki? Cause I did hear some rumors that Naruto caused some trouble the night of the Graduation Test." Chōji said, making Shikamaru and Ino look at him.

"I heard that too. I thought it was just him pulling some troublesome prank again because he failed to graduate. But…hearing what happened to Iruka-sensei and Mizuki, I don't think it's a coincidence that Naruto's changed so drastically." Shikamaru said with a frown.

"Wait…you don't think Naruto was involved in that, do you?" Ino asked in disbelief that Naruto could be involved in Iruka's and Mizuki's deaths.

"Maybe, maybe not. All that we know is that Iruka-sensei was someone Naruto cared about and spent a lot of time with, Mizuki was revealed to be a traitor and killed Iruka-sensei, now he's dead too. Naruto was causing trouble the night of the Graduation Test, and then suddenly he's been field promoted. That's a lot of stuff happening for it to just be a bunch of coincidences. Add it all up, along with Naruto's different appearance and personality, it's not hard to put the pieces together." Explained Shikamaru, making Chōji and Ino feel a shiver go down their spines.

"Y-you don't think…that Naruto…that he…he's the one who…" Chōji said, having a hard time imagining Naruto of all people being capable of killing someone.

"You'd be surprised what a person can do if they're pushed far enough." Shikamaru stated, remembering the incident where that shopkeeper threw that mask at Naruto and how Hibachi sent him into a battlefield with enemy Ninja around.

The Nara Heir didn't find it hard to believe that seeing one of the few people who cared about him being killed would finally push Naruto over the edge and make him kill Mizuki.

Though, Shikamaru then noticed Naruto himself approaching Sasuke's window.

"Naruto? What's he doing, now?" Shikamaru said, wondering what Naruto's doing approaching Sasuke, getting Ino's and Chōji's attention.

"Huh? What's he doing, going to Sasuke?" Said Ino, worried that Naruto might be planning to attack Sasuke, only for the three Genin to instead see Naruto began talking to Sasuke about something.

"It looks like they're just talking, but I doubt we'll be able to hear what they're saying." Chōji said, making the Yamanaka Heiress frown before she saw something that made her smirk.

*With Naruto*

"Oi, Sasuke." Naruto said as he approached Sasuke after managing to find him, with the Uchiha glancing at the whiskered blonde.

"What do you want?" Sasuke asked while eating his lunch, with Naruto frowning at how he wasn't even looking at him.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go get some lunch. I asked Sakura, but she said no, so I wanted to see if you'd want to come." Naruto replied, making Sasuke pause before looking at him with a deadpan expression.

"You know, I expected something like this from one of the fangirls. The whole tracking me down, climbing up to my window, and asking me to get lunch with them bit." Stated Sasuke, making the Uzumaki face fault and nearly fall off the apartment balcony.

"I'm just trying to see if we could try getting to know each other better since we're supposed to be teammates." Naruto retorted in annoyance that he's trying to make an effort to spend time with his teammates, only it seemed like neither wanted to spend time with him.

"Well thanks for the offer, but I'm fine on my own." Sasuke said, understanding where Naruto was coming from, but wasn't interested in wasting time talking when he only cared about the training he'll get done.

"Fine. But can I at least ask you for a favor? Can I transform into you for a while?" Naruto asked, with the Uchiha pausing again before looking at him with narrowed eyes.

"Why do you need to transform into me?" Said Sasuke, skeptical of the random request, especially given Naruto's history as a prankster.

"Because…I wanted to ask Sakura what she really thinks of me, and she'd be more willing to tell you rather than me. So can I?" Replied Naruto, knowing this would likely be his only chance to find out what Sakura actually thinks of him.

With Sasuke frowning at the answer, contemplating on whether or not he should let Naruto disguise himself as him. But figured this may be a chance to not have Sakura chasing after him all the time, if Naruto could get her to focus on him instead.

"…Fine, you can turn into me. But I swear if this is one of your pranks, I will literally kill you." Sasuke warned, refusing to have Naruto make a joke out of him, only for the whiskered blonde to scowl.

"I wouldn't waste my time asking at all if this was a prank. I wouldn't even waste my time on a stupid prank ever again!" Naruto retorted spitefully before jumping away, leaving Sasuke watching him in confusion and intrigue.

'What exactly happened to you?' Thought Sasuke, not believing Naruto actually said he'd never waste his time on pranks ever again, even calling them stupid.

With neither Naruto nor Sasuke noticing a nearby bird had heard everything they said, before flying up to where Team Ten was, with Ino lying motionlessly on the floor. Before the Yamanaka Heiress shot up with a surprised look on her face, while the bird flew away.

"Well? What were they talking about?" Shikamaru asked, with Ino having used her Mind Transfer Jutsu to take over a bird to eavesdrop on Naruto's and Sasuke's conversation.

"Naruto was asking Sasuke if he wanted to have lunch together, so they could try getting to know each other better as teammates. With him having already asked Sakura, but she said no. Though Sasuke refused as well, only for Naruto to then ask if he could transform into Sasuke." Ino revealed, confusing Shikamaru and Chōji.

"What, for like a prank or something?" Questioned Chōji, only for Ino to shake her head.

"No, he just wanted to do it so he could find out what Sakura really thought about him, thinking she'd be more willing to tell Sasuke than himself. Naruto even said he'd never waste his time on stupid pranks ever again." Replied Ino, surprising both boys since they never would've imagined that Naruto would give up on pulling pranks.

Only for them to then see Ino jumping down and began going in the direction Naruto went.

"Ino, what're you doing?!" Shikamaru said, not wanting her to do anything foolish.

"I'm following Naruto, duh! There's no way I'm missing out on this!" Ino said, eager to see if she could learn any clues about what caused Naruto's change and couldn't deny she's a little curious to also learn what Sakura really thought about him.

*Later-With Sakura*

Sakura sighed as she closed her bento after finishing her lunch, disappointed that she was unable to find Sasuke anywhere.

'Well I guess it's not like there's a big rush or anything, I'll be on the same team as Sasuke for a long time. I'll have plenty of chances to talk to him.' Sakura thought hopefully that she'll have other chances to spend time with Sasuke, only to sigh sadly.

'Oh, how I could even think he'd like me? Let's face it, I'm scrawny and small, except for my forehead. Why was I born with such a big, wide forehead?!' Sakura thought, hating the only big part of her was her forehead.

Not helped during the times in the girls locker room and she saw how developed some of the girls were, especially Ino and Hinata. Much to her annoyance when the former always took the chance to rub it in her face.

"Sakura."

The pinkette was pulled from her thoughts at hearing her name, only to gasp in surprise when she saw "Sasuke" standing in front of her.

'Sasuke?! No way…he's here and he's looking at me!' Sakura thought, blushing that her crush came to find her.

"Sakura, I wanted to ask you something?" "Sasuke" said while sitting down next to Sakura.

'Ask me something?! He wants to ask me something?!' Sakura thought, excited at what he wanted to ask her.

"S-sure, Sasuke, what did you want to ask?" Questioned Sakura, hopeful at what it could be.

"Naruto…what do you think about him? Since we're gonna be teammates, I wanted to know what your thoughts of him are." "Sasuke" said, causing the pinkette to deflate at the question since it wasn't what she expecting nor hoping for, before frowning.

"He knows about my feelings and he purposefully tries to get in the way. He enjoys interfering and making me feel bad. Naruto, he doesn't understand one single thing about me, he's just annoying!" Sakura said while looking down, not noticing how "Sasuke" displeasured look or how he was clenching the stone bench.

"Why do you think he's annoying? Is it just because of all those dumb pranks?" "Sasuke" asked, hoping that was just the case, only for Sakura to scoff.

"Oh please, those pranks might as well just be an inconvenience at this point. My real problem is that he's always picking fights, especially with you Sasuke! And you know why he's so annoying, it's because he wasn't raised right!" Sakura said, missing how "Sasuke" went completely still or how the bench began cracking under his grip.

"He doesn't have a mother or a father, no one to teach him right from wrong! Think about it, he just does whatever comes into his head! If I did things like Naruto, forget it! I mean, my parents would get mad and I'd get in trouble, so of course I don't do it! But if you don't have parents to tell you, how will you know?! I suppose he's lucky in a way, he doesn't have to worry about anyone stopping him from doing anything! But that doesn't change the fact he's selfish and bratty, that's why he's all alone!" Said Sakura, only to jump when she heard something break, before she was shocked to see "Sasuke" had broken part of the bench he was gripping.

"S-Sa-Sasuke-" Sakura said in worry at his sudden change in behavior, before she gasped when "Sasuke" glared at her with red eyes.

Though before she could get a good look at them or say anything, "Sasuke" quickly jumped away before he said or did something he might regret, later. With Sakura only able to look on in shock, confusion, and slight fear at what just happened.

'Wh-what…what was that?' Sakura thought, not sure what to think of what just happened.

*With Naruto*

"Sasuke" didn't stop jumping through the trees until he reached one of the more rested parts of the village, before dropping the transformation as Naruto scowled. Covering up the feeling of his heart breaking over Sakura's words with anger at how she dared to say about him and his parents. Before the whiskered blonde shouted and smashed his fist into a tree breaking part of it, before he began punching the other surrounding trees as well.

'What right…what right does she have to say anything about my parents like that?!' Naruto thought, punching and breaking another tree, angered that she had the nerve to talk about his parents like that.

'I'm like this because they aren't around?!' Thought Naruto while slamming the back of his fist into a tree where it shattered.

'That I'm lucky to not have parents around?! That I don't have to worry about getting in trouble?!' Naruto thought, kicking another tree, this time leaving a hole in the trunk.

'What does she know about me?! What does she know about my parents?! Nothing! She doesn't know anything about me, about my parents, about anything! Yet she thinks she has the right to say any of that?! She's nothing but a spoiled and sheltered BITCH!' Naruto mentally shouted as he punched one last tree, with his fist going right through it.

Panting heavily, Naruto pulled his arm out of the tree and looked around, seeing a few trees had actually fallen down from the damage to them. While others looked like they'd been mauled by wild animals, even seeing a few claw marks tearing through them, making the whiskered blonde look at his hands to see his nails elongated into claws, before they began receding.

Taking a few breaths to try and calm himself down, Naruto soon created a Shadow Clone.

"You, go to the Academy to meet our sensei." Naruto said, not sure he'll be able to control himself right now if he sees Sakura or if she says anything else that'd set him off.

With the clone nodding in response before jumping off towards the Academy, while the real Naruto began jumping in the direction of Yakumo's manor. Needing to talk to someone and vent everything he's feeling, right now.

Luckily, it didn't take long for Naruto to arrive at Yakumo's manor, acting on instinct as he avoided the traps and guards before sneaking in. Making his way to Yakumo's art room where he knew she spent most of her time, finding the Kurama Heiress inside before she turned towards him.

"Naruto? What're you doing here? Isn't today-is something wrong?" Yakumo asked, having been told that today was Team Assignments and that he may not get a chance to visit until much later, only for the brunette to notice his expression.

"I…I just…" Said Naruto before shouting in anger and punched the wall, doing his best to try and hold back to avoid punching through it, but the impact still cracked the wall, much to Yakumo's shock.

"Naruto, did something happen?" Questioned Yakumo, concerned at what could've happened that's making Naruto act like this, while the Uzumaki leaned against the wall before sliding down to the floor.

"Sorry, about the wall. But…you remember some of my classmates I told you about, Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno?" Naruto said, confusing Yakumo before she nodded slowly.

"Yes, Sakura's the girl you have a crush on, while Sasuke's someone you see as a rival, with Sakura also liking him. Right?" Yakumo replied, with Naruto nodding in response while clenching his fists.

"Yeah, that's them. They're now my teammates and I had hoped that we could try spending time together and get to know each other better, but neither of them wanted to. And I could at least accept Sasuke not wanting to, since he seems to prefer not spending time with anyone, but I didn't know why Sakura seems to always be angry whenever I so much as talk to her and wanted to know why. So…I asked Sasuke I could transform into him for a while to find out what she really thinks of me and he let me, but then I found Sakura and…" Explained Naruto before slamming the back of his head against the wall, worrying Yakumo as she went over and sat next to him.

"What happened?" Yakumo asked, only for Naruto to chuckle bitterly.

"She thinks I'm annoying, that I enjoy making her feel bad, that I keep getting in her way. But it's not because of the pranks I used to pull, no, she thinks I'm annoying because I don't have any parents! She thinks I wasn't raised right, that because I don't have any parents I don't know right from wrong! That I'm actually lucky I don't have parents to get in trouble with, that I can just do whatever I want because I'm alone! That I'm selfish and bratty! That's why she thinks I'm annoying!" Naruto said getting louder with word before he slammed his fist into the floor.

"And what the hell would she know what it's like?! She still has her parents, yet she thinks she knows what it's like to be alone! To not have anyone give a damn about you or what happens to you! She says I don't know anything about her, but she clearly doesn't know anything about me! And I know exactly what she is, a selfish and sheltered bitch that thinks she knows everything when she doesn't know a damn thing! I bet she doesn't even fucking realize that she just insulted Sasuke too! She probably doesn't even know that he's also an orphan, yet she thinks she knows me!" Yelled Naruto before he began panting heavily, while Yakumo looked at him in shock.

The brunette also feeling angry and disgusted at everything he just said, not believing anyone would dare talk about someone like that. Especially from everything Naruto's told her, he's done nothing but be nice to Sakura all the time. Yet she has the nerve to talk about him like that, despite knowing nothing of what he's been through.

'It would be so easy.' Yakumo thought, looking at her painting supplies, knowing how easy it'd be to make a single painting of Sakura and place her in a Genjutsu, to give her a glimpse of what real pain is like.

Before she shook her head and looked at the Uzumaki, knowing he needed help right now, before she hesitantly put her hand over his.

"I'm…I'm really sorry that happened, Naruto. You didn't deserve to hear any of that or have anyone judge you like that, either." Yakumo said while squeezing his hand comfortingly, with Naruto taking a few deep breaths before leaning back against the wall.

"Part of me had hoped, had really hoped that maybe us being on a team together meant I could have a chance or at the very least we could be friends. Now I see how stupid that was, Sakura never would've given me a chance, let alone even consider being my friend. It wasn't even the pranks she hated or that I was the deadlast, it's just because she thinks I wasn't raised right. If it was because of the pranks or being the deadlast, I could've handled it, but instead it's something I had no control over." Said Naruto, making Yakumo frown sadly.

"…I lost my parents a few years ago, in a fire that engulfed our home and killed them, not long before my instructor sealed my power. That's when I learned the Hokage saw me as a threat and would have me killed, he ordered the fire be started to kill me, but I survived." Revealed Yakumo, making Naruto look at her in shock.

"He did?" Naruto said, having a hard time believing the Sandaime would actually order someone's home be burned down to kill someone.

"Yeah. And when he failed to kill me, he had my instructor seal my power, leaving me weak and vulnerable, then put me here to be watched and guarded. I've been alone ever since, simply wondering when he'd finally send someone to kill me." Yakumo replied, the Uzumaki looking at her in shock before frowning.

"I'm really sorry that happened, Yakumo." Said Naruto, only for the brunette to shake her head.

"You don't have to be sorry, you didn't know or caused it. And…you've also helped me not feel so alone anymore, even if I did threaten you." Said Yakumo, smiling slightly, which Naruto returned.

"And I want you to know that no matter what anyone says, you're not alone, Naruto, and you certainly aren't annoying. Since…you have me, right?" Said Yakumo, looking at him, making Naruto look at her and soon nod.

"Yeah…I guess I do. Thanks…Yakumo." Naruto replied, making the Kurama Heiress smile before she looked at him curiously.

"And not that I'm complaining, but why did you come to me, anyway? Wasn't there anyone else?" Yakumo asked, wondering why Naruto chose to come to her of all people.

"I couldn't think anyone else I could turn to. Iruka-sensei is dead, I don't trust the Hokage like I used to, while Ayame and Teuchi would be working at Ichiraku's at this time. With this being something I needed to talk about in private without anyone overhearing. And…I trust you, Yakumo." Said Naruto, making the brunette smile slightly, happy to hear that he trusted her.

Before the two simply sat together in silence, taking comfort in each other's presence and knowing they weren't alone.

*With Sasuke*

Meanwhile, Sasuke was making his way back to the Academy, since break was almost over and they'd need to get back to meet their teachers. Though before he could arrive, the Uchiha spotted Sakura standing by a bench, taking notice of some pieces broken off from it.

"Sasuke, you're back! What was that back there?! Why did you act like that?! Are you alright?!" Sakura asked, looking at him nervously and worriedly, making Sasuke frown before looking at the broken bench again.

'Is she talking about Naruto?' Sasuke thought, wondering what she must've said that'd get a reaction like that out of the Uzumaki.

"I'm fine Sakura, I just needed to do something." Replied Sasuke, deciding to play along, with Sakura frowning slightly.

"O-okay. I-I thought you were angry or something." Said Sakura, Sasuke's frown deepening.

"I wasn't, I just remembered something I had to do before lunch ended. So I probably wasn't very focused either, do you mind repeating what you told me before? Something about Naruto?" Sasuke asked, feeling morbidly curious of what was said and done.

"Ugh, I'm so sick talking about Naruto! Seriously, he's just so annoying and whiny all the time! And who's he fooling with that outfit he's wearing?! He probably thinks it'll make me like him or something, or that he thinks he's being cool! This is what I was talking about, he thinks he can do whatever he wants just because he doesn't have any parents!" Sakura said in annoyance that Sasuke seemed to only want to talk about Naruto.

With Sasuke freezing as he narrowed his eyes at her, already not liking what he was hearing.

"I mean just look at how he acts, doing whatever he wants without caring about the consequences of his actions, like he has the right to do whatever he wants just because he's alone. I would hope that if he had parents they'd have actually disciplined him and made act more mature rather than like a spoiled brat. Or at the very least he'd try to act responsible since no one's around to teach him what to do, but instead he always acts selfish and bratty! But maybe with you as a teammate, Sasuke, he'll finally start growing up and-" Sakura said, only to be cutoff by the ravenette.

"Stop. Talking." Said Sasuke coldly, with Sakura freezing as she saw the Uchiha glaring at her with anger and disgust in his eyes.

Sasuke only felt shock, anger and disgust at the moment, not believing what he was hearing right now, especially given the fact that Naruto's likely already heard all of this. Which would explain why he isn't around if he heard the girl he likes talk about him like that. Not helped by how she doesn't seem the least bit ashamed of what she's saying.

"S-Sa-Sasuke-" Sakura said nervously, only for Sasuke to cut her off again.

"Alone. Isolated. You don't know anything about what that's like. It's not about having parents to scold you, it's not even close to that. To be alone…it's something you could never imagine, to have no one around, no one to care about you. To come home to an empty house, knowing that no one is there to greet you, to go around and see so many families. Children with their parents, knowing it's something you'll never have. It's a wound that never heals, a pain that will never go away, no matter how hard you try. You think you know what it means to be alone? You don't know the first thing about that kind of pain!" Said Sasuke, glaring at the pinkette coldly, while Sakura shook in shock, nervousness, and fear.

"Wh-what's gotten into you?" Sakura said, scared of how Sasuke was talking, with the Uchiha still glaring at her.

"You say that Naruto is the way he is, because he doesn't have any parents?! You claim to like me, but you seem to forget that I don't have a family either! You and the rest of those little girls see me as some fairy tale prince, when none of you know the first thing about me! Fighting over something as childish as sitting next to me, all of you are nothing but insults to Ninja if you think that's important. Or that any of you would ever believe I'd waste my time on someone that doesn't know anything about me or what it truly means to be alone. And the only one that does understand, is Naruto." Sasuke said, with Sakura shaking as his eyes flashed red for a moment before returning to their cold obsidian color.

"Wh-why are you saying all this?" Sakura asked, not believing he's really talking to her like this.

"Because…you're not just annoying, you're disgusting as a person and make me sick." Said Sasuke before continuing on his way, while the pinkette watched him leave with tears in her eyes.

Though unknown to Sasuke, Sakura, nor Naruto, Ino had been hiding behind a tree the entire time and heard everything that was said from when Naruto first arrived. The Yamanaka Heiress not believing everything she just heard, or what Sakura said about Naruto.

As while Ino did find Naruto annoying with his pranks, even she knew that Sakura had crossed a serious line that shouldn't have been crossed. Since it's one thing to see Naruto as annoying for his pranks, desire to be the center of attention, or being the deadlast. It's another to insult him for not having parents, while even going as far as to call him lucky for being an orphan. With it being even worse as Sakura had unknowingly said all of that to Naruto himself.

Ino had been tempted to reveal herself then and there just to smack Sakura across the face for being so insensitive and uncaring. As whether she said it to Naruto or not, no one should be talked about like that. The only reason she hadn't revealed herself is because Ino wasn't even really sure what to say, nor was she sure that Naruto would even appreciate her defending him given how she's never done anything nice for him before.

Only for the real Sasuke showed up and Ino had to hear it all again from Sakura, only this time Sasuke didn't have anything holding himself back in chewing her out. And while the platinum blonde girl did feel bad at everything he was saying, she knew Sakura had it coming after what she did. Only to feel even worse when Sasuke talked about the girls in the Academy, including her and Sakura. How they didn't know anything about him and were insults to real Ninja, and that he'd never be with anyone who didn't know anything about him or what it felt like to be alone.

'Maybe we are just little girls living in a fantasy.' Ino thought, unable to deny everything he said to Sakura is true for her as well.

She didn't know anything about Sasuke and was only attracted to him because of his looks, none of them really knew Sasuke at all. Yet they all had a fantasy image of him as some handsome prince that'd sweep them off their feet. Not even knowing the pain he's been through, instead fighting over something like sitting next to him.

'But Naruto understands.' Thought Ino, seeing Naruto and Sasuke were more alike than any of them realized.

The Yamanaka Heiress sighed before taking her leave to meet up with her teammates, knowing there wasn't anything left for her to say that Sakura didn't just hear.

So, what did you think, good. Yep we see Naruto asking Sakura if she'd want to get lunch and get to know each other better, only for her to brush him off, making Naruto wonder why exactly she doesn't like him when he's always tried being nice to her, before going to find Sasuke to try his luck with him. Before we go to Team Ten with Ino upset that Sakura is on Sasuke's team, only for the conversation to turn towards Naruto and the changes he's gone through, with Shikamaru being able to put the pieces together of what may've lead to his rapid transformation, much to Ino's and Chōji's concern that Naruto could be capable of killing someone.

With them then noticing Naruto approaching Sasuke and begins talking with him, leading Ino to use her Mind Transfer Jutsu on a bird to overhear their conversation. While Naruto asks Sasuke if he'd want to get lunch only for the Uchiha to refuse before Naruto also asks if he could transform into him to find out what Sakura really thinks of him. With Sasuke reluctantly allowing it but warns Naruto it better not be a prank, which Naruto spitefully retorts he's done with pranks, much to Sasuke's and Team Ten's surprise when Ino releases her Jutsu. Before Ino goes to follow Naruto, curious of what she could learn.

Next we see Sakura lamenting over being unable to find Sasuke and not thinking he'd ever like her, only for Naruto disguised as Sasuke to then arrive and asks her what she thinks of Naruto. Only to learn exactly what Sakura thinks about him, much to his anger and hurt before he quickly leaves to avoid doing or saying anything he'd regret, dropping the transformation once he was alone and began venting his anger at what Sakura said about him and his parents. Before he sends a clone to the Academy in his place while the real Naruto goes to meet Yakumo, needing to vent his frustration to someone he trusts. With Yakumo being angry and disgusted at what happened, while comforting Naruto and opening up about what happened to her own parents and what she believes happened, allowing them to grow closer as actual friends than acquaintances.

We then see the real Sasuke finding Sakura where Naruto left her and out of morbid curiosity asks what she said, only to be angered and disgusted to hear Sakura thinks of Naruto, even more so that Naruto heard all of it himself. Before the Uchiha then chews Sakura out for what she said, reminding her that he's an orphan as well, and saying she's not just annoying but disgusting as a person as well, before leaving.

Finally we also see Ino had eavesdropped on everything that was said, not believing Sakura would talk about Naruto like that, knowing it was going too far, and would've revealed herself but doubted Naruto would appreciate her having eavesdropped. Before Sasuke then arrives and feels bad what he says to Sakura, but knows she deserves it. Only to feel worse when Sasuke brings up the girls in the Academy how they're naïve and insults to real Ninja, something Ino can't even deny before she returns to her teammates now having a lot to think about.
