'The Contract'
Chapter 1: 'Shoki'
Time has passed, and I have helped my friends in this fight against Legion. I know the truth. With all their powers combined, they aren't strong enough to defeat him. That night as Remy was going to bed, I went out onto the balcony of my apartment, and looked out at the starry night sky. I am expecting a visitor tonight. It was the Neo-Queen Serenity.
"Your Majesty," I said, kneeling to the queen
"Noemi, the time has come, the time has come for you to unleash your power, this enemy is growing stronger, and you have the ability to grant your strength and your abilities to the Sailor Senshi," she explained, "you know of what I speak of, Noemi Micheaux, give the power, give the 'Shoki' to the Sailor Senshi, and they will be ready to face this evil,"
An angel's word is their vow. The 'Shoki' is a contract between an angel and a human. In other words, when the Sailor Senshi transform, I can be combined with them and act as an added source of power. With these dark times looming overhead, I feel like I am on the same as Neo-Queen Serenity "This is going to be...interesting" I replied to her request
"The Senshi will need you now, more than ever, Noemi, if they can have faith in you, so can I," with that, she slowly faded away in silvery-sparkled dust as she gently touched the top of my head while I bowed to her. The next morning, I got up, and showered before letting Remy out to do his thing, and clean up after him. Still, I think about last night.
"Are they ready?" I thought, feeding Remy
I soon sensed something off in the distance. It was time, "Mommy has to go, be a good boy," I said to Remy, and I transformed into my 'Angel Form' as I leaped off my balcony and flew toward where I sensed it. Sailor Mercury was thrown like a baseball into a building. It is a pack of Gnolls. Armed with hog-splitter swords, they are not warm and fuzzy.
I caught Sailor Mercury just in time, "Gotcha!"
"Noemi?!" Ami gasped in awe while in my arms
"Hi," I said with a wink, and a grin under my armored mask. I looked at the enemy as I was putting Sailor Mercury back on her feet. I have to give credit to this pack of demons. They decided to go after the weakest of the Sailor Senshi, "ok, Sailor Mercury, I need you trust me on this, focus and repeat after me, 'Mercury Armor Power'," I explained to her
She looked to me with a small smile and a nod, "Right," said Ami, and got up on her own power, "Mercury Armor Power!" she called out, and the transformation began. I kissed her on the back of the head, and wrapped my arms around her in a warm embrace as I became one with her. Sailor Mercury's wand turned into the haft and pommel of a sword.
The cross guard is shaped like two cresting waves. Ami clutched the sword's grip with both hands, and a blued suit of armor similar to my own began to form on her. Where she had the eye screen on her supercomputer was now a mask that looked like the top half of a knight's 'armet' helmet with two eye slits and comes to a stop on the top of her head
"Noemi?! Noemi, where are you?!" she panicked
"I'm right here," I said to calm her down. She looked at her sword in awe, and seeing that she's now clad in steel armor, "I will explain this to you later, now you have a battle on your hands," one of the Gnolls attacked, Sailor Mercury blocked it, and pushed him back and combined that with a slash across the chest. He fell dead, and faded into black dust.
"Kill the whelp!" roared the leader of the pack
"Let's do this, Ami-chan!" I said to motivate her
I'm not actually controlling her. The power in the armor is giving her the ability to fight, and need to protect herself. I'm giving her the strength, and she controls the armor. A second charged in, and she blocked the two slashes from his sword. She cleaved the sword into his skull, and leaped off of him as he fell facedown in the street, "Not bad, Ami,"
She leaped up, and Ami made a midair tuck before landing on her feet. The last one made a downward slash threatening to split Ami's head in two. She spun to the left side, and chopped off the last demon's head, "Wow! did I just do that?!" she gasped in awe as the second, and third demon faded away into black dust. With a battle won, I got out of her.
"Yes you did, well done, Mercury," I said to as the armor faded when I left her body, "even though I'm an angel, even I'm still learning my abilities, what you just did is a result of a bond I made with you called the 'Shoki', I know you have questions, and I assure you that I have answers," I explained amid the new potholes in the road as a result of this.
"Will this work for all of my friends?" she asked
"It can, and it will," I replied, "I will have to explain this to them, but in other words, with my assistance, you and all of your friends will have a fighting chance against Legion," I pulled up my tight blue skinny jeans, and lightly dusted off my blue t-shirt with my longsword slung behind my back. With this sample of my power, they can do it. They can win.
