'The Contract'
Chapter 3: 'Unleash the Angel'
As we were walking home before the skies were turning dark, I put Remy in the house as I always do. As I caressed a bit of Setsuna's long hair, I sensed something, "Uh oh, not good," I said to Setsuna, she nodded and had her wand ready while I was ready with the longsword. I was gliding alongside Sailor Pluto, and heading toward where I'd sensed it.
"I felt it too, this way," said Pluto
"Right there, the next street over," I added
We came across the sight of a 'Tsuchigumo', a demon that's half-woman and half-spider. She had a mother, and child wrapped up in it's webs and looked ready to devour them, "You know, going after people is mighty low," I said to the demoness, she looked and smirked a toothed smile of sharp teeth with four paired of red eyes, looking like cut rubies.
"Ah! I was hoping this would get your attention, 'Little Angel'," said the spider-demon, what the Japanese would call a 'Youkai', "truth be told, I wanted you and all your friends, but this will do," Sailor Pluto and I leaped away to dodge a stream of webs. I unsheathed the longsword to transform, and I flew down to the mother and child to cut them free.
"Get out here! Hurry!" I instructed
"Thank you," the mother and child bowed, and ran away to safety. I dodged another stream of webs, and slid down it to be reunited with Sailor Pluto. I attacked to the right, and Sailor Pluto fired a 'Dead Scream' to the left to chop off the demon's legs. Although the demon wailed in pain, and her legs faded to dust. Demons can be clever, just like this one
"Give it up," Sailor Pluto demanded
"Oh...you think you've won? You humans, so feeble and so witless," said the Tsuchigumo as she began to regenerate her legs. To top it all off, now she's even bigger and taking up an entire street with her leg span, but her human half is still the same size, "I will crush you both!" she blasted as Pluto and I dodged her leg, "I will savor such tender flesh!"
"Let's do this," said Sailor Pluto, I nodded and did my part to begin her transformation, "Pluto Armor Power!" as I warmly embraced her, I became one with her and Sailor Pluto transformed into her new 'Shoki' form. Now in her full armor, she unsheathed a 'zweihander' sword. She looked in awe at the sword, and her eyes sharpened toward the demon.
"This ends now..." said Sailor Pluto
"Humans...So delusional," smirked the demon
"You humans never change, give a human power and they think they rule the world, let me enlighten you on the pecking order!" she boasted, and aimed to impale Sailor Pluto with a leg only for her to leap to the side, and make a spin while chopping off the leg at the pivot joint. The spider demoness wailed in pain, and this time it was not regenerating
"That looks painful," she remarked
"Why you...," snarled an enraged demoness
"I'll kill you!" the demoness blasted, shooting blasts of webs from her fanged mouth while climbing up the sides of buildings, and chasing us. The demon turned to pounce on us, and Pluto made her move. She leaped away, and chopped off all four of her right legs with a long upward slash of her sword. She made a reverse leap with a reverse midair tuck
She landed gracefully on her feet while plunging the two-handed sword into the demon's back. The Tsuchigumo cried out in pain, and snarled as she turned to see Sailor Pluto on her back, "Annoying little gnat!" she blasted, and smacked us off her back into the side of a building. I can feel her pain too. Sailor Pluto got up on her own power with her sword
"That hurts," Setsuna cringed in pain
"No, this will," the demoness corrected her as she slashed at Pluto with one of her scythe-shaped front appendages. Pluto rolled to the side, and cleaved it off with a downward slash. She followed that by running along the side of a nearby building, and slashing off the demon-spider's left legs. Sailor Pluto is really getting used to the power of the 'Shoki'
"It's over" Sailor Pluto concluded to her
Even in her pain, the spider-demoness cackled a maniacal laughter even with the blade of Pluto's 'zweihander' at the side of her neck, "I know you're inside of her, 'Little Angel', it's pathetic, hear this and hear it well, you and your friends can fight all you like, but you cannot stop the inevitable, your time on earth is over, and 'his' time is just beginning,"
"I meant for you," replied Sailor Pluto, and she cleaved the beast down the middle of her skull to finish her. We leapt off her back, and the demon fell in a thunderous roar. Her head and back slumped forward as she died, and her body faded into black charcoal dust. With the battle won, I released myself from Sailor Pluto, and the armor faded as well.
"You won," I said, caressing her cheek
"We won," Setsuna corrected me, and gave me a kiss on the lips, "that mother and child are going to have quite a story to tell," I reverted back to 't-shirts and skinny jeans' as I sheathed back my longsword, and Sailor Pluto turned back into Setsuna in flared tight blue jeans, a white button-up top, and short body leather jacket, "Haruka is waiting on us"
"Right," I said, leading her to my V-Rod
"Let's ride," I smirked, speeding off with her holding on
